Familienrestaurant AMano in Wolfsburg

We had something to eat there when we were in the Autostadt. For me personally it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life!

€5 no-show fee per person for cancellations <2 days - you can spin completely freely. If at all, I know this from top locations and not from pizzerias in the provinces!

Unfriendly staff, all tables are free but supposedly reserved and then you are seated on stools at long tables. Every McDonald’s has more service and ambience. The only reason to eat here was so the kids could design their own pizza. As an adult without children, I give this a wide berth!

We were in this restaurant today and really liked the idea of ​​the children being able to make their own pizza. The concept also worked out very well. The children got their pizza very quickly, unfortunately our food came much later. My tortellini tasted okay. The lemonade came with fresh mint, some of which was unfortunately wilted. The tuna pizza was large but a bit bland. The service: After queuing we were seated. We received the cards with a delay and were able to place the order after just under 10 minutes. The homemade pizza came quickly, the rest took forever. The staff was nice so far, but seemed unstructured. There was a lot of staff there, which made the long waiting time all the more astonishing. I wouldn't come back as the entire experience was rather negative. Long waiting times and unstructured staff are unreasonable for a family with small children. Food is ok. Nothing I would come back for. Home cooking, nothing more but nothing less either.

The pizzas have little taste, or rather they taste of nothing. Service is friendly but inattentive and disorganized. Overall not recommended.

I can't understand the bad reviews. The food tastes great. The pizza dough in particular is top notch. Very friendly everyone. Children can even bake their own pizza. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant!

We ate here today and unfortunately can't understand the reviews here. We booked the table at 6:30 p.m., but were able to get in earlier despite it being full. Service was very attentive and very friendly, we were happy to accept recommendations from the house and were not disappointed. The food was very tasty and the quantity was more than sufficient. We can fully recommend the restaurant and will come back the next time we pick up our vehicle.

Lasagna and seafood pizza were good, gnocchi was not tasty. The service is too slow.

We stood in line for a long time on August 2nd. About 2 p.m. Wanted to eat with three people. There were endless seats available in the restaurant but no one was seated. Then we left. That was very bad. Too bad for us. Too bad for the restaurant

I don't like the no-smoking policy outside. It's nonsense. You can see there is a BBQ, so you can cook on the BBQ, but I can't smoke. The service is for idiots; at every step, they told us to watch out like we are just learning to walk. If you like to be treated like an idiot, this is the perfect place for you.

I just read today that AMano is supposed to be a family restaurant. The AMano is far away from a family restaurant. The only "positive" thing is the food itself. And that there is something for the little children to paint. The pizzas we had were ok. The drinks are almost non-carbonated. As if you had been given “the leftovers”. We have already been to the Autostadt and also to the AMano a few times. Every time we thought we'd try it again. Because the real reason why we didn't want to go back is the employees themselves. Because the employees are (in some places, not all of them, there have always been some exceptions) are unmotivated and unfriendly. The lack of desire to work in service is written on the employees' faces. If you have a question, you'll roll your eyes and groan. As if you were simply superfluous in a restaurant. As a guest you notice the moods of the employees. That doesn't make a visit to AMano particularly pleasant. We have annual passes and really enjoy coming to the Autostadt. But whether there will be another visit to AMano remains to be seen. Or whether you simply leave the Autostadt to eat.

I find that the "service staff" are largely completely disinterested. Mostly young students because they work here on vacation and are neither customer-oriented nor able to answer any questions. The food has “normal” prices, but I expect a lot more from a Pasta Salmone than what I got. Carelessly cut vegetables, salmon that you have to look for and that is also poorly cooked. Noodles were completely overcooked and the dish tasted completely bland. This isn't even cafeteria level. Incidentally, according to the waitress, it takes longer to get a pizza if you sit outside... for whatever reason. I didn't want to ask any more questions.

This was one of the best Caprese pizzas we have eaten. 🤩😋 Thank you for the friendly, competent service. The children can top their own pizza if they wish, if they wish. Definitely worth a visit, thumbs up 👍 P.S. The waiting time was completely okay.

I've never had such bad pizza on the table. For 13 euros, with so little, for me, nothing at all in terms of toppings, it's a flop and so ridiculous. Some of them weren't even properly topped, in many places I felt like I was eating bread. Unfortunately, the selection is also, well... There would probably only be gluten-free pasta, but it would take quite a long time - bad if you come with a child, let alone with a huge hunger, which is what you're actually doing. Otherwise you had no other choice when it came to the type of flour or the like... It started with the fact that we had to wait a long time at the entrance... the young employee, who was already so rude, also answered my question whether we were allowed to enter, BECAUSE EVERYTHING was empty, in such a tone, "No! You have to wait, as it says!"... We also had to wait an extremely long time to pay, so I then went to the front of the checkout. I mean, yes, the young man apologized, but that didn't help anyone. Just a plus point for the "children's station for baking and topping your own pizza." Addendum: I was very surprised at the price at the checkout.

Unfortunately a bit disappointing. First, someone escorted us to a table outside, which was very accommodating. After we ordered, the drinks came straight away, but unfortunately we had to wait over 45 minutes for our food (even though the restaurant wasn't really full). Our pesto pasta was literally dripping with butter and it was very watery, so you could hardly taste the pesto. The pasta was brought cold, only the butter pesto mixture at the bottom of the plate was lukewarm. According to our comment, service was relatively nice, the price of the food was canceled so we only paid for the drinks.

5 employees, none of them managed to bring us a coffee when the workload was low There's no need for it here. Regrettable

Pizza was good. We only got a drink after our pizza after we asked and the latte macchiato was cold and watered down. Service staff was visibly demotivated and listless. Restaurant clearly full. Staff stand around listlessly and have private conversations.

Pizza was ok, price performance of the pizza was in Okay to good. But I have to warn you about the pasta, you should really save yourself very bad gnocchi for 15€.

Yesterday, April 25th, we went to Wolfsburg to pick up our car. After a small problem with the new vehicle, we still had 1.5 hours to get our car so we decided to go out to eat in this restaurant. We ordered 1 tuna pizza, 2 children's pizzas to make yourself and top with as desired, 1 salami ham pizza, 1 salad and once pasta with shrimp. The 2 pizzas came quite quickly, the children were allowed to prepare their own pizza, unfortunately the selection was very poor as there was only SALAMI, CHEESE, TOMATOES, CORN and PAPRIKA. That was strange now with the salad. The lettuce was not fresh and the leaves were already black and slippery, lettuce leaves with roots still on them (so not cleaned). When my wife got the noodles and wanted to eat them, the next problem arose. Of course we also served 3 people. Noodles not cooked through and the shrimps are still raw inside. When we asked the waitress about it, she took the plate and ran away and talked to someone. 2 minutes later she came and put the plate back on the table and said that's the only way it works otherwise the food would break and when asked that it was raw she said that's the only way we can do it. We looked at each other speechless and she was immediately awake. We called her again and told her that we didn't want the food like that because it was inedible. She took the plate with her and disappeared. 10 minutes later she came and said we didn't charge them for the noodle to which I replied that it's normal if something isn't cooked well. Overall very dissatisfied, not even an apology or anything. We've never had anything so bad with rotten lettuce leaves and raw food in a restaurant. That was an outrage. Never again in this restaurant and I would advise anyone not to eat there.

Unfortunately no better rating is possible. Lots of places available, but queue for over an hour. Simply embarrassing to have such a tenant in the VW world. This has nothing to do with service. Plus embarrassing staff. Only responded after 4 times.

The only good thing was the pizza. Beer stale, the fourth dish was bonged incorrectly. Not a word from service about it, no apology, nothing. Plates at the tables were cleared when new guests arrived. So you end up sitting at a wet table and on dry chairs. Really underground here.

On May 1st we wanted to have lunch there, we waited at the entrance for the staff. There were still a few free places. After a few minutes an employee came to us and said that we would have to wait another 30 MINUTES because the kitchen couldn't keep up with the orders!! That's an absolute NOGO! They could have simply given us a seat and told us that the food would take a little longer due to delays in the kitchen. We would then have a relaxed drink and wait for food. But already at the entrance, brushing off the customer instead of finding an adequate solution... we would have liked to have waited at the table. But standing at the entrance with your legs in your stomach for half an hour is very unfriendly! It's a shame we couldn't spend any money in the Autostadt that day.

Beautiful outside area for warm evenings, tasty pizza. I was a little underwhelmed by the simple menu (though maybe that helps the quality), additionally the waiter was a bit confused. Nonetheless a nice place and worth a visit!

The restaurant is very large and visually great too. We ate 4 pizzas. Everyone was really great! Prices are perfectly fine. The service was very friendly. We would eat there again.

Absolute recommendation, we had antipasti and pizza. Service was very friendly. There is room for improvement only when it comes to comfort. The cube seats are not really comfortable, but the food makes up for it twice. Tip after the small one. Asking for an antipasti platter for 2 people (it's not on the menu) is worth it.!!

I can't understand some of the bad reviews. Attentive staff, good service, very tasty pizzas, the filled ravioli with truffles are a dream, the antipasti divine and way too cheap... We were completely satisfied!!!!!

Very nice staff and very friendly

For the second time our order was forgotten and we sat for more than 30 minutes until we at least had our drinks. Apparently very incompetent staff... Sitting is also very uncomfortable and like being in a train station. We'll never come back, we'd rather walk into town!

We visited on February 10, 2024 for an Italian breakfast. Unfortunately the selection was very small. But the worst thing about the breakfast is the extremely long waiting time for drinks (capuccino etc.). We stood in a queue for two chamomile teas for 15 minutes (!) - and there were only 2 other guests in front of us. Unfortunately, the staff is severely overwhelmed as they are apparently understaffed. We constantly had to ask for glasses, orange juice or something similar. I definitely can't recommend the breakfast. For the same money you can get a quantitatively and qualitatively better breakfast buffet in similar restaurants in Wolfsburg. There is one star for the children's pizza baking, otherwise it would have been 0 stars.

We were there on a Saturday and had lunch there around 12pm. It wasn't that crowded at the time and the food came quickly. We ordered pizzas. We paid around €40 for 2 drinks and 2 pizzas.

Prices are actually a disgrace. After asking several times whether you could pay, there was no response from the staff, and not even at rush hour. The gentleman next to our table felt the same way. After waiting for 10 minutes at the counter, I thought about leaving, but the gentleman behind me managed to get a staff member to take pity on me after repeated requests. Never again.

We were there for a birthday breakfast, everything was beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and the choice of food was huge. There was something for everyone, whether it was coffee or tea, cappuccino you could drink whatever you wanted. Then I was even able to top my own pizza, it was very tasty. Extremely good, the entire Autostadt is always worth a visit 👍 an exciting experience for young and old

Waren schon öfters hier essen , aber irgendwie nicht mehr wie früher . Kinderpizzen gibt es nur noch in einer Größe und das für 6,90€ und Zutaten fehlen wie Mais oder anderes. Auf Anfrage gibt's die Antwort, haben wir nicht da. Pizzen und Salate sind auch nicht mehr der Hammer. Verstehe nicht die lange Wartezeit für diese NIO Qualität. Für das Geld im Restaurant in der Stadt ohne langes Warten erhält man mehr .

Eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung der Mitarbeiterin am Empfang. Da hat es aber leider schon aufgehört. Der Mitarbeiter am Tisch war sehr demotieviert und unfreundlich. Die Pizza ist Ok, für die Kinder natürlich ein Highlight zum selber belegen. Der Salat ist geschmacklich Inordnung. Aber leider ist der Parmaschinken ferdorben gewesen. Er ist mit einer schleimigen Schicht überzogen und roch sehr unangenehm. Wir haben hier schon öfter gegessen aber das haben wir noch nie erlebt. Auf den Hinweis zum Mitarbeiter, gab es eine Reaktionen mit der man nicht rechnet. Bei uns ist der Schinken immer so. Leider keine Einsicht. Sorry das geht überhaupt nicht.

Ótimo lugar para ir com a família

Die Pizzen schmecken ausgezeichnet. Allerdings ist das Bekommen eines Platzes etwas anstrengend. Man wartet relativ lange in einer Schlange auf einer Rampe und wartet, dass man einen viel zu niedrigen Würfel als Sitzplatz zugewiesen bekommt. Die Tische sind lange Tafeln, an denen dann kreuz und quer bis zu 20 Personen Platz finden. Die Pizza-Backstation für Kinder ist großartig und sorgt vor allem bei den Kleinen für Begeisterung.

Autostadt ist ein Besuch wert ! Und ins AMano ist es ein Muss, einkehren !! Leider hat es auf unserem Platz in der hinteren Ecke mit Blick zum Winterthur mächtig gezogen , um nicht zu sagen , es war kalt !!!

Lange Wartezeiten und die Pizza Salami kam ohne Kaviar und Salami.

Das Highlight des Restaurants ist die Pizzaback Station für die Kinder und die Qualität der Zutaten. Was nicht so gut war folgt am Ende. Wir haben Pizzen bestellt. Zwei für die Kinder zum selbst belegen und eine große zum Teilen. Die Pizzen waren lecker und hatten uns auch satt gemacht. Sie waren auch noch sehr heiß am Tisch angekommen. Das war es auch schon mit dem positiven Eindruck. Der Pizzaboden war leider nicht fest genug um die Pizza klassisch mit der Hand zu essen. Zum Schneiden standen nur zackige Steakmesser zur Verfügung, welche für dieses Restaurant völlig ungeeignet sind. Das die dünnen Pizzen damit sehr schnell zerfetzt sind ist hier die Regel. Die Hocker im vorderen Bereich find Die Organisation der Platzverteilung ist wirklich ein Stressfaktor. Es gibt eine Warteschlange für die Platzzuweisung. Gäste die reserviert haben drängeln vor, das Personal verweist dann nur darauf, das „sie es ja hätten mit dem Gast regeln können“ und entzieht sich somit der schlechten Organisation an dieser Stelle. Aus meiner Sicht hat die Platzzuweisung nichts mit einer Reservierung zu tun. Andere Gäste waren da deutlich verärgerter als wir. Wird wohl auch dem Hangry geschuldet sein. Ich denke wir werden in Zulunfr dann doch über den Fluss Richtung Innenstadt gehen und bei L‘Osteria eine leckere Pizza genießen.

Das perfekte Familienrestaurant. Die Kleinen können ihre eigene Pizza belegen, der Indoorspielplatz ist von vielen Plätzen einsehbar und dazu gibt es noch familienfreundlichen Service. Ach ja... das Essen schmeckt auch noch! Wir sind regelmäßig hier 😉

Wir haben 10 min gewartet und keiner ist gekommen wo wir jemanden gerufen haben haben sie uns ignoriert

Der Vorspeisensalat war top. Daher gibts auch 2 und nicht noch weniger Sterne. Leider war die vielgepriesene Pizza geschmacklich äußerst fad. Selbstgemachter Teig und schön dünn bringt da dann auch nichts mehr…preislich ohne die 30% Gutscheine von VW auch frech!

Die Winterwelt der Autostadt ist wieder ein Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Karussells für Kinder kostenlos.

Kannten bisher nur die Lagune, aber hier ist es tatsächlich noch schöner. Essensauswahl ist sehr gut, Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Ambiente gerade jetzt in der Weihnachtszeit richtig toll (weil etwas ruhiger als in der Lagune). Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Für die Kids jedes Mal toll die Pizza selbst zu kreieren.

Wie immer sehr lecker. Das Highlight ist, dass die kleinen ihren Teig selbst ausrollen und belegen dürfen.

Elke 2 jaar kom ik hier, bij de echte Italiaan. En deze keer was er een nieuwe medewerker, die met zoveel energie de ene na de andere pizza maakte, maar met gevoel en flair. Davide is een echte aanwinst voor Amano. Over 2 jaar wéér ! Ben je in Heilbronn en zoek je een echt Italiaans restaurant, dan moet je hier naar toe.

Ist das Geld nicht wert. Wein schmeckt nicht, Pizza schmeckt wie TK Ware.

Das italienische Frühstück, dass es nur am Wochenende gibt, kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Tolle Auswahl an mediterranen Speisen, sehr guter Geschmack und tolle Mitarbeiter, die sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend sind.

Essen war gut leider mussten wir lange warten bis jemand Kamm und uns zum Tisch gebracht hat obwohl einige Plätze frei waren.

Es handelt sich um ein Familienrestaurant. Das Essen war leider eher unterdurchschnittlich bei normalen Restaurant Preisen. Die Pizza war groß mit dünnem Teig aber leider sehr fettig und mit viel zu viel Oregano. Die Bolognese war geschmacklich eher fad und die Nudeln zu aldente. Zwischen der Kinderportion und der normalen Portion gab es keinen Unterschied. Aber die normale Portion war doppelt so teuer und weit weg davon auch die doppelte Menge zu sein. Das Restaurant ist auf Kinder ausgelegt und die können sich sogar ihre eigene Pizza machen aber hier passt Preis und Leistung einfach nicht zusammen. 3€ für einen 0,2l Softdrink ist auch unverschämt.

Essen: war 1a hatte selten so eine gute Pizza gegessen und danach sogar satt war. Preis: da wir im Zuge einer Autoabholung einen 30% Gutschein hatten war der Preis mehr als angemessen. Ambiente: man hat sich wohl gefühlt Service: die Pizza war sehr schnell angerichtet. Was mich jetzt nicht gestört hat aber eher seltsam war ist, dass man nach dem 1. Bestellung nicht mehr nach weiteren Wünschen gefragt wurde (Getränke, Nachspeise). Zahlen musste man dann direkt an der Kasse was man vorher wissen müsste (sonst sitzt man am nächsten Tag noch da) 😅 Zusammengefasst hat das positive überwogen und das Lokal ist zu empfehlen 👍

Bei einem Besuch der Attraktionen für uns mit Kindern ist ein anschließendes Essen hier für uns immer Pflicht. Kinder bekommen von dem freundlichen Küchenpersonal einen frisch zubereiteten Teig auf kleinem Blech und können sich am Tresen ihre Pizza selbst belegen. So sehen sie die Zubereitung, und die Pizza schmeckt gleich nochmal besser wenn sie wissen, sie selbst gemacht zu haben. Alles Andere auf der Karte ist auch sehr lecker, wenn auch die Preise etwas niedriger sein können. Ein ganzer Tag in der Autostadt kostet ohnehin schon genug Geld.

Das ideale Umfeld für unsere Kinder.

Für ein Restaurant das fast nur Pizza anbietet, finden wir die Qualität eher mäßig, Günstig ist auch was anderes. Was toll ist, dass die Kids ihre Pizza selber belegen können.

Selten so eine gute Pizza gegessen.
