Hotel & Restaurant Schützenhaus Vorsfelde in Wolfsburg

I was booked as a service provider for a wedding couple and can't understand some of the reviews. The host was friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. The staff was top-notch. As a service provider, you're often forgotten, but not here. The staff asked me several times if I needed anything else. They even brought me a special bucket of ice for my drinks. The food was delicious and plentiful. The schedule was adhered to to the minute, which is rather rare. I highly recommend this venue as a wedding venue.

I found the tenant of this location to be very rude and unhelpful. Furthermore, I've spoken to several people who have known and dealt with him for 20 years, and they told me they've also been having problems with them for over 20 years. People who won't even help others with a little electricity when it's 30°C, even though they can pay for it, have a meter, and even want to pay in advance... and then they make excuses. They're not allowed to. As the tenant, I can decide what I do with my location. If you want to help, help!

Beware of rip-offs! It is a lost place where rooms are rented out! When we arrived, at the check-in time agreed upon through Booking, all doors were locked and NO ONE was there! Neither anyone at the reception nor any guests! There were two numbers posted that you had to call, and a man answered with broken German. After two phone calls and more than half an hour of waiting in front of closed doors, the good gentleman came and unlocked the "entrance area" (which was also used by a snack bar). When we entered there was a smell of sewage and we were told that the restaurant was closed and that breakfast would only be available at a fixed time. We then got our money back with a lot of emphasis and a request via Booking for a free cancellation. IMPORTANT: in the original contract for booking with advance payment, you cannot cancel free of charge without getting the money you have already paid back!

Had an absolutely unfriendly phone call with a gentleman on the phone. Doesn't introduce himself or show any kind of empathy. He started making accusations even though we didn't even know each other. impudence.

You can eat very well here, the lighting in the small hall could be a bit more comfortable. Otherwise, top tip!

Wir waren Samstag Abend zu einer privaten Veranstaltung mit ca. 60 Leuten eingeladen. Man konnte sehr gut direkt nebenan parken und die Räumlichkeiten waren gut und großzügig, so dass man gemütlich essen, danach tanzen und umhergehen konnte. Das Essen war solide fleischlastig und schmackhaft. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, zeitweise hat gegen Abend einer alleine sich um alles gekümmert, so dass es manchmal Wartezeiten am Tresen gab, die über das Zapfen eines Bieres hinausgingen. Für solche Veranstaltungen also zu empfehlen, als Restaurant stelle ich mir das eher gutbürgerlich vor und würde ich vielleicht nicht unbedingt besuchen. 4-Google-Sterne sind zu recht verdient, aber 5 Sterne - da zögere ich.

Nun nicht mehr die erste Wahl ... Platz und Location sind ja Perfekt, die Räumlichkeiten auch .. Aber das ist leider nun mal nicht alles... Am Preis und am Rest naja...

Wir waren zu dem so genannten Weihnachts brunch und waren nicht so wirklich begeistert davon essen geschmacklich war ok aber grosser Teil war kalt, Service ist total unkortiniert rum gelaufen, es gab keine Weihnachtsdeko und Musik auch nicht und beim einlass der Besitzer auch nicht so wirklich freundlich ich würde nicht nochmal hinfahren.

Heute beim Weihnachtsbrunch gewesen und es war super,es gab Rinderbraten, Putenfleisch,Fisch, Enten-und Gänsekeulen. Ein riesiges Antipasti Buffet,Hochzeitssuppe,versch.Gemüse,Klöße, Kartoffeln Pommes, Nudeln....und noch vieles mehr. Desserts und Eis zum Nachtisch. Getränke konnte man bestellen,was man wollte. Alles inklusive. Ausserdem war der Saal schön weihnachtlich geschmückt. Von meiner Seite eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir kommen nächstes Jahr gerne wieder!

Gutes Essen,gute Bedienung und anständige Preise

Weihnachten zum Brunch dagewesen, nie mehr. Das Essen war kalt, hat uns nicht wirklich geschmeckt, wenig Auswahl, ehr Mittagessen als Brunch und dafür 45 Euro,lohnt nicht

Waren dort zum Weihnachtsbrunch/Buffet und ich fand es für den Preis von 45€ doch etwas enttäuschend. Die warmen Speisen waren kalt, geschmacklich auch nicht mein Fall, Speisen waren nicht beschriftet. Leider war die Weinauswahl, die im Preis inbegriffen waren, auch nur auf trockene Weine beschränkt. Es war kalt im Saal und die Weinachtsdeko hat gefehlt. Preis-Leistung einfach zu teuer. Servicekräfte waren aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Für Feiern zu empfehlen Gäste fühlen sich gut aufgehoben!

Qualität der Speisen könnte für meinen Geschmack besser sein, ebenso finde ich könnte das Personal im Umgang mit Gästen noch ein paar Trockenübungen einlegen...
