DÖNER HAUS in Wolfsburg

We ordered steaks to take away, which was unfortunately a pretty big failure, the meat was overcooked and tough in places, the mushrooms were totally over salted, the baked potato was very bland because the sour cream was poorly seasoned, the salad that came with it was at best a decoration The name steakhouse is quite exaggerated, and even more expensive than the hacienda in Vorsfelde, which really deserves this name. We are very disappointed and we won't see the house again 🙈

Doner doesn't look good and salad doesn't look fresh. After eating, it takes less than 10 minutes to defecate in the toilet.

A disaster! The seats were extremely uncomfortable and the service was unfriendly and annoyed. We had to wait 30 minutes for anyone to take our order, and then the service was completely inflexible - changes to the dishes were 'not possible'. The food was mediocre, the pasta was overcooked and the pizza was soggy. Absolutely unacceptable for the prices. Never again!

Beware of rip-offs! It is a lost place where rooms are rented out! When we arrived at the check-in time agreed upon through Booking, all doors were locked and NO ONE was there! Neither anyone at the reception nor any guests! There were two numbers posted that you had to call, and a man answered with broken German. After two phone calls and more than half an hour of waiting in front of closed doors, the good gentleman came and unlocked the "entrance area" (which was also used by a snack bar). When we entered there was a smell of sewage and we were told that the restaurant was closed and that breakfast would only be available at a fixed time. We then got our money back with a lot of emphasis and a request via Booking for a free cancellation. IMPORTANT: in the original contract for booking with advance payment, you cannot cancel free of charge without getting the money you have already paid back!
