Falafel Salam in Berlin

Wir haben noch nie zuvor arabisch gegessen und ehrlich gesagt kannten wir auch keins der Gerichte, aber ich kann eins sagen, ich hab noch nie zuvor so gut gegessen. Ein absoluter „Geheimtipp“. Überhaupt nicht überfüllt, klein und süßer Laden. Alle waren so freundlich und es war sooo lecker! Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen! 🩷

The staff was friendly and spoke English. The shaverma was the best shaverma I've had.

The homemade falafel is very delicious. Perhaps the price of the dish is a little high, the bread is not homemade, but still for the posh neighborhood, the prices are logical, the place is very warm and familiar. There are no bathrooms, but you can ask to use the bathroom in one of the places on the street. They have a terrace, it is very nice.

Most delicious falafel I've had it a long time

Super delicious, oriental food in a small, family restaurant with tables for inside and outside. I liked the hemp falafel balls and the hummus best. But the fried halloumi was also incredibly tasty. The food is not expensive, amazing and close to Ku-Damm. We now had a catering order for 15 people and our guests were also thrilled. It was delivered on time on beautiful oriental dishes. I can only warmly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

The food was the best thing I have ever eaten in my life! Everything was perfect. I was there with another person, which is why we chose the Arabic plate. This was really excellent in terms of appearance and taste. The pastries were also a delight in terms of taste and appearance and should not be missed. The service was very friendly, which is why we felt very comfortable. The price is unbeatable and really great for what is on offer! We'd love to come back!

Cute yummy place to eat. The people were very kind and even asked if we wanted an English menu. They gave us our food immediately and this is easily some of the best falafel I’ve ever had. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat for a decent price.

Simply the best falafel salam and rightly king of the city. For me the best falafel in the world. You definitely have to get one here, preferably with the chilli paste! And price performance is top. Thanks to Team Salam and the two bosses senior and junior.

Tolles kleines Restaurant, mit Tischen drinnen und draussen.Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet,schmackhaft und lecker und preiswert und das in der Nähe vom Ku-Damm. Mir haben die Hanf Fallafel Bällchen und der Humus am Besten geschmeckt, aber auch der Halloumi ist ausgezeichnet. Jederzeit wieder Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wonderful family run falafel place! I lived in Berlin many years ago… This was one of our go-to places as vegetarians. Imagine my delight when i returned after 30 years…. Still, a family-run place with friendly service, excellent falafels with plentiful vegetables & fresh bread— and amazing home-made “hot sauce”. (In former days, it contained walnuts… but now, due to allergy concerns, they leave out the walnut). The other vegetarian options are also very tasty Highly recommend this family-friendly, Cozy establishment — a few tables inside, and out. Very reasonable prices. Lovely people!

I ate falafel here at least once a week 37 years ago and it was always delicious and fresh. I was there again recently and by chance tried the shawarma, for me it was the best in Berlin. As a native of Berlin, I have often eaten shawarma elsewhere, but here the aroma of the spices is so present and delicious. The only problem for me in the future is deciding which of the two to eat 😉!!!

My favorite Shawarma! Great food, excellent sauce with it... it can get a bit messy but it is absolutely worth it! Try it out yourself and you will not go anywhere else when in Berlin close to the city center west.

Very tasty food and great friendly service. I recommend! Real Arabic cuisine! But you don’t expect to sit here with a large group - the room is simply tiny, and there are only 4 small tables (maximum for 3-4 people). It's best to come as a couple or take away. Well, or come on warm days when they set up tables outside. :-)

Falafel and Makali were completely cold and the bread was only briefly warmed up in the microwave. Unfortunately it wasn't fresh at all and didn't taste good so it would have been lying around all day.

Had a falafel hallumi for €7. Most careless preparation, it was ready after 1 minute. Neither was fresh and no sauces were asked for. There were no Arabic vegetables or anything else, just old arugula salad that didn't taste fresh either. Here the store didn't live up to its name - a terrible disappointment. I hate to write bad reviews but that was cheeky

Tiny, family-run snack shop where you can get good oriental cuisine! I had merguez in bread with grilled vegetables and a really good homemade yogurt mint sauce. The taboulet salad is also very tasty, as is the small selection of baklava. (The prices are very fair, especially considering the location.) There are a variety of possible combinations in the menu :-) The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. The interior is simple but functional, only about 5 tables inside, but about as many tables outside. We were almost starving at one of the nearby Americans. Fast food chains landed... what would we have missed! Conclusion: Sweet, small, nice shop & delicious Arabic food: definitely try it out ;-)

Winziger, familiärer Imbißladen, wo man gute orientalische Küche bekommt! Ich hatte Merguez im Brot mit gegrilltem Gemüse und einer echt guten, hausgemachten Joghurt-Minze-Sauce. Auch der Taboulet-Salat ist sehr fein, ebenso wie die kleine Auswahl an Baklava. (Die Preise sind sehr fair, vor allem hinsichtlich der Lage.) Es gibt vielseitige Kombinationsmöglichkeiten im Menü :-) Der Herr hinter der Theke war sehr freundlich. Das Interieur ist simpel, aber zweckmäßig, nur etwa 5 Tische drinnen, aber etwa nochmal so viele Tische draußen. Beinahe wären wir vor Hunger bei einer der nahen amerikan. Fastfoodketten gelandet...was hätten wir da verpasst! Fazit: Süßer, kleiner, netter Laden & leckeres arabisches Essen: unbedingt mal ausprobieren ;-)

I was in this store 2 times this week. The owner was very nice. I ate soup with falafel bread once and ate shaurma and drank pomegranate juice the second time. I was very satisfied and can recommend it to everyone. For a bedside meal, I definitely recommend trying pistachio pastries. They're awesome🤩

We had falafel and shawarma (is that spelled correctly?) on hand. And both were really delicious. A tourist will definitely walk by here. But fortunately our Berlin friends know this insider tip. We can definitely come back!!!

The service was amazing. Great guy. However, the food was bad and there was no flavour. The falafel were okay. But the Taboule was shockingly sooo bland.

I came to Falafel Salam to grab a quick lunch with friends and we had great food, quick service and very warm attention from the server. He even threw a joke in the interaction. The atmosphere was relaxed. I had the halloumi and hommus teller and would recommend it completely, it was fresh, tasty and had right portions. The pomegranate fresh juice was amazing. If you're in the area, this is a nice practical option. The place is very small, thought. It has only two seat tables, but they were cool with our table being three people. Maybe it's not a place to come ans hang out for long. But on that level it's a great one.

Authentischer Laden mit herz. Wir wurden schon 2 mal super freundlich bedient und alle, die dabei waren haben das frische essen sehr gelobt. Insbesondere die Falafel wsren unter den besten die ich kenne.

Perfect place for a quick lunch, snack, or dinner. They offer different types of falafel but also Arabic coffee and desserts. It's really affordable but doesn't contain many spots so good to be prepared that you might have to take your food to-go.

Great!! The food is absolutely delicious: the meat is perfectly spiced, they don't add too much salad just to fill the sandwiches, the hummus is crazy good (made with quality olive oil)... the sizes are adequate and the price is more than fair. Plus, the cook is very kind and easy-going, he explained everything that we asked. Great place :)

Probably one of the best Falafel places in Berlin, for over 30 years. Each time i go to Berlin i have a Falafel here. Reasonable prices, great food, friendly service. Great plqce to have a quick bite !

Ich möchte fair bewerten, weil der Schawarmateller vermutlich einfach Geschmackssache ist. Aber ich fand den Geschmack ungenießbar, hat nach altem Hammel geschmeckt, wirklich sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Offenbar gibt es Menschen, die das mögen. Schade, dass es dort keinen Hähnchen-Schawarma gibt. Der Falafel war frisch und geschmacklich gut (hatte einen gemischten Teller).

Great food, very quick and cheap

Wir kommen wieder!!! Wir hatten 2 riesen Portionen mit Tee und extra Salat und Brot und haben nur 25€ für uns zusammen bezahlt 😍 Das Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir saßen draußen gemütlich und hatten ewig bleiben können. Es ist direkt am Ku‘damm, super zentral und trotzdem eine ruhige, gemütliche Ecke!:) Wir können es zu 100% weiterempfehlen!!!!!!

Ingredienti di qualità e servizio senza fronzoli, perfetto per cenare senza perdere una vita al ristorante. Falafel davvero gustoso, come l'hummus. Consigliatissimo!

Der bestellte falafel kam schnell..sehr schnell, während ich noch überlegte, welche Sauce ich möchte, schmiss der Herr am Tresen einpaar falafelbällchen in die Mikrowelle und stellte mir ein perfekt verpacktes und gerolltes falafelsandwich auf den Tresen. Leider keine Frage ob oder welche Sauce ich möchte..oder irgendwas vom Salat nicht mag..schade..das die falafel quasi aus der Mikrowelle kamen nervt mich dezent, da ich das so nicht gewohnt bin. Egal..der Geschmack des Sandwichs war trotzdem gut. Es ist nicht besonders groß gewesen und mit 5€ nicht unbedingt günstig. Lassen wir aber mal der Lage des Imbiss geschuldet sein. Gerettet hat’s für das Falafel Salam die scharfe Sauce auf den Tischen. Die ist wirklich gut. Nicht besonders scharf aber fruchtig und crunchy Dank der Walnusskerne darin. In meiner Erinnerung war das falafel Salam bedeutend besser. Schade.

Sehr guter Falafel. Vor allem die rote Chilisauce ist ein absoluter Genuss und macht den Unterschied aus. Mehr als empfehlenswert! Wenn wir in der Gegend sind, essen wir dort. Ambiente: Ein einfacher schmaler Imbiss, der auch auf dem Bürgersteig Sitzplätze anbietet.

This is THE place to go if you are looking for excellent arabic food! Delicious big portions, friendly employees, fair prices. We had traditional "foul" and a "vegetarian mixed plate" - both recommendable.

Schade um die 6€ für den schawarma! Schmeckte nach nichts! Trocken, geschmacklos und kaum Zutaten drin. Keine Ahnung wie es zu den guten Bewertungen kommt....

I hate writing bad reviews but this one is a must. This place is really one of the worst whalen it comes to the quality of the food i took a combination order with falafel and shawarma, the falafel were ok the shawarma was just dreadful, absolutely not edible, the salad did not seem fresh, the portion size was just unreasonably small even though i ordered the bigger size for 8.50€. I was very disappointed.

Nettes Personal, das war’s auch wieder. Der falafel „ wrap“ hat nach Minze geschmeckt, außer Minze gab es keinen anderen Geschmack. Abgesehen davon geht es meinen Freund von dem Falafel wrap, was die erste und die letzte Mahlzeit war sehr schlecht. Es treten Symptome von einer Lebensmittelvergiftung auf und kein Medikament hilft. Hygiene wird sehr große geschrieben in Berlin. * Ironie*

На фото кафе выглядит вполне нормально. На улице стоят по моему 4 столика, но пошёл дождь и мы решили зайти внутрь. Ооочень маленький зал ( зал- это громко сказать). Но самое ужасное- это запах. Принимать пищу внутри заведения просто невозможно. Естественно, мы ушли, так что о вкусе еды не могу судить .
