Super delicious and great service

I used to recommend this place but it needs to be said: there is a long hair guy working there who always acts like he’s above you. Ever since he joined, the quality and hygiene has gone down significantly and the service has been really bad. He touches his hair, wipes his nose and then makes your food. I rarely go to Humbaba anymore because of him.

Friendly team, incredibly delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Everything you could want from a restaurant like this. Above all, the food is so good you just can't get enough. You guys are awesome! 👌

Perhaps the best falafel in town, and that's a fair assessment. Everything about Falafel Humbaba is just right: crispy, juicy, aromatic, and completely no-fuss. My favorite is the falafel halloumi combo, a portion that's truly worth it. Fresh, generous, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying that you'll wonder why you ever tolerated dry chickpea balls at other places. The staff behind the counter are incredibly friendly, quick, and attentive. And if you happen to be on Turmstraße: a must-visit. There are hardly any reasons not to pop in, unless you happen to have a chickpea allergy or a general aversion to good food. In short: fantastic.

Best Schwarma in Berlin in my opinion

Falafel Humbaba is simply fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious and always freshly prepared. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and they work with exceptional cleanliness and hygiene. You can tell they do their job with passion. Highly recommended – you feel welcome and well taken care of here!

The ingredients in the Halloumi Makali plate were all cold. They were simply thrown from the display into the to-go box. Three eggplant "chips," fried to death, two cauliflower florets, a few carrots, a few diced potatoes, iceberg lettuce, tabbouleh, a halved tomato slice, and cold, rubbery halloumi. Paying €11.90 for this at a snack bar is depressing. I won't be buying anything from here again.

The shawarma is always very good and delicious. It can take a little longer, but it's worth it for the best garlic sauce in Berlin.

Dirty. Not clean. Ol is alt. The restaurant lacks cleanliness and the food is average. There was a lot of old oil after eating. I felt my lips stick together even though I washed them after eating. I do not recommend it.

I happened to be there by chance. Great value for money! Very tasty food. I had a shawarma plate, which was very filling and incredibly delicious. My friend had the halloumi falafel plate, and she couldn't eat much. She also thought it was delicious.

A go to place when you're really hungry and looking for comfort food for a reasonable price accompanied with a friendly service.

No idea why this place has a 4.5 rating. There are plenty of authentic shawarma shops in Berlin, but not this one. The food is rather tasteless, and the music is way too loud, aka the Summertime Sadness Remix by Lana Del Rey feat. Standard beat. Absolutely cringe!

It's still reasonable for the price, but the taste isn't particularly exceptional. It lacks sauce, and the service is rather rushed. It's a good option, but I don't think I'll be back. Cash only.

The falafel pita was really good. The falafel were nice and crispy and well-seasoned. The bread was also fresh and delicious. And the sesame sauce went very well with it. The shawarma meat was unfortunately not good, as it wasn't cooked properly and had a soft texture. Furthermore, some of it was sliced ​​too thickly. The humbaba plate was good, especially the sauces, which rounded out the dish. However, the fried vegetables were already cold and didn't seem freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the meat wasn't cooked through.

Highly recommended for all eating habits and preferences. I love it.

One of the best in Berlin! Big wraps, delicious veggies and meet. Vegetarian options are available, but I'd go for the Shawarma Makali.

Insider tip! Doesn't deserve 4.5, at least 5! Really, really exceptionally good! Very tasty freshly baked and prepared shawarma. Super delicious, stylish food. Friendly and quick service even though it's busy and hot.

Falafel Humbaba is the best falafel place I've ever eaten at. Freshly prepared, and the sauces are easy to dip into. 10/10

Tip: Use all the sauces so it's not dry! Otherwise, it's a 50/50 chance of getting a good day. I'm here almost every week, and they keep forgetting to put in the things I ordered, and the bread often falls apart... but sometimes it's just incredibly delicious and everything's just fine!

The food is really delicious, but for one thing, there's no way to pay by card (in the 21st century), and on top of that, they don't tell you beforehand that certain ingredients require an extra charge. Then, after the food is prepared, you get a little surprise when you pay – super nasty 🥲 The music is also so unbearably loud that the wait for your food becomes unbearable.

The baklava is made from peanuts, colored green. Consider that they have decent food and most customers are probably not some Berlin tourists, I don’t know why it’s a good idea to fake a baklava with peanuts. The shop simply doesn’t have to sell it. This is just ridiculous.

The vegan mix plate was absolutely delicious. The makkali is pre-fried at some point and comes cold on the plate/sandwich. Unfortunately, that's really not that cool! Makes it warm again haha Otherwise everything is great!

The best shawarma in Moabit. Best vegetables and the sauces are all top. My tip Shawarma Halloumi plate or Humbaba plate.

Unfortunately, the quality always depends on whoever prepared the food. If you're unlucky, the halumi is hard, there's something in it that you didn't order, or your food gets cold. It's a shame, the store was great in the first year

For me personaly new tastes of food, but really good ones. Guys were smiley and nice. They have plenty drinks you can pick from.

Good food but often almost over charges (either charging Big size for Small order or for the more expensive drink). Same thing, consistently over my past 5 visits. I go back coz the food is good, but wary every time when paying at cashier.

Last time, a couple if years ago, when I ate here, the food delivered on fronts and it was in general just a good, reliable place to come to eat. However, the quality has gone a bit down over the years, at least based on my last meal. I had the shawarma tannour and halloumi fries. The shawarma was dry and tasted like chicken breast and the halloumi fries were extremely salty. The sauces (a very dense sesame sauce and a too sweet mango sauce) were not a good counterpart. The bread was very nice, though. In general it was fine to eat, but far from great, as it once was, in my opinion.

Nothing special, pretty average Falafel. They didn’t even did the effort of making the Falafel fresh and just put cold already made Falafel in my sandwich.

Simply bomb!!! One of the best falafel shops in Berlin, if not the best! The tanour dough, the garlic sauce, the falafel and everything else is so delicious. And compared to the price increases at other kebab/falafel shops, the price remained somewhat reasonable. The only bad thing is that the shop itself is a bit small and cramped and the music is sometimes a bit loud. But they recently renovated it and it is nicer and warmer than before. And unfortunately they are sometimes a bit unfriendly... At the end of the day, the food is so delicious and the portions are so generous that the rest doesn't matter. Absolute recommendation!!!

It was my go-to falafel shop for a long time when I lived in the area. Always busy and therefore the food is fresh. Particularly noteworthy are the various homemade vegan sauces.

I've been wanting to try this address for a long time and I wasn't disappointed! The service was ultra-smiling and friendly, and the food was delicious. Clearly one of the best street foods I've eaten lately. I'll be back!

It used to be excellent. Now you get the falafel basically cold / mass dispatch. No longer edible.

The food is 10 out of 10, but the gentlemen sometimes move a little too quickly. The last four times I've received something other than what I ordered.

Unfortunately very dry. Salad limp. Cucumber + tomato good. Burnt falafel bread. After preparation, falafel bread is placed in the contact grill. Good idea but unfortunately it took too long and the bread was burnt. Overall very dry, unfortunately not so good in terms of taste (also due to the burnt bread).
