⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Das Essen hat mir wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt und die Qualität war hervorragend. Umso überraschter war ich beim Bezahlen, als ich erfahren habe, dass ausschließlich Barzahlung möglich ist. Leider gab es weder am Eingang noch auf der Speisekarte oder an anderer Stelle einen Hinweis darauf. Dadurch musste ich erst eine längere Strecke zu einem Geldautomaten laufen, Bargeld abheben und anschließend zurückkommen, um die Rechnung zu bezahlen. Außerdem wurde mir keine Rechnung oder Quittung ausgehändigt. Das war insgesamt sehr umständlich und hätte sich mit einem einfachen Hinweis leicht vermeiden lassen. Ich hoffe, dass künftig Kartenzahlung angeboten wird oder zumindest deutlich darauf hingewiesen wird, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist und Rechnungen selbstverständlich ausgestellt werden.

Habe über 40 Minuten gewartet. Meine Bestellung: Teller mit Schawarma, Kartoffeln und Salat. Es kam: mit Reis, ohne Kartoffeln. Ich wurde nicht einmal gefragt, ob ich das haben will. Begründung: Die Kartoffeln waren alle. Das Essen war zu kalt und zu trocken.

Ich esse hier seit drei Jahren als Vegetarierin und bin total begeistert vom Geschmack… der Hartweizen ist einfach köstlich. Ich habe wahrscheinlich schon überall in Berlin Hartweizen probiert, aber dieser hier ist wirklich einzigartig. Fünf von fünf Sternen für den Geschmack! Beim ersten Mal schmeckt er dir vielleicht anders, aber du wirst süchtig nach diesem arabischen Hartweizengeschmack werden 🥰. Danke mir später!

Man isst hier ganz ordentlich, die Portionen sind auch gut. Vom Service etwas unorganisiert und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man muss schon aufpassen, dass die eigene Bestellung auch an den eigenen Tisch kommt und nicht auf einem anderen Tisch landet. Wem das und die rustikale Einrichtung nichts ausmacht, eine klare Empfehlung.

Super nettes Personal, hatte den Halloumi Teller, und sowohl Käse als auch Humus/Falafel waren wirklich sehr sehr gut, sollte ich mal wieder in der Ecke von Berlin sein , komme ich gern wieder

Auch wenn ich nicht in der nähe wohne, komme ich immer wieder hier her um was zu essen. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitern und ihre Wertschätzung anderer hat mich seit Tag 1 überzeugt. Sehr zu empfehlen !!!

Der Kellner war wirklich unfreundlich und hat die Gäste grundlos fast angepöbelt, besonders die Servicekraft. Außerdem kann es bis zu 45 Minuten dauern, bis man sein Sandwich bekommt.

Für mich der beste Falafel Laden in ganz Berlin, mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Komme schon seit Jahren immer wieder hier her und die Qualität ist konstant richtig gut 🩷 Die Falafel sind einfach so crispy und lecker und bei den Sandwiches läuft nie etwas aus wie bei anderen Länden. Ich war kürzlich dort und habe sowohl Shawarma als auch Falafel probiert. Das Shawarma hat mich leider nicht ganz überzeugt – geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich und etwas trocken. Die Falafel dagegen waren wirklich lecker: schön knusprig außen und gut gewürzt. 👍 Insgesamt okay, aber beim nächsten Mal würde ich eher wieder die Falafel bestellen.

Nettes Lokal, freundliches Personal, das Essen schmeckt gut. Allerdings dauert es viel zu lange, bis das Essen kommt, vor allem für ein Schnellimbiss, selbst wenn kaum jemand da ist.

Die Falafel sind an sich schon mehr oder weniger die Besten in Berlin. Aber der Service macht das ganze noch besser. Beim Reinkommen wird einem erstmal ein frisch frittierter Falafel in die Hand gedrückt, dann kann man schonmal knabbern während man aussucht. Alles ist sauber und auch die Qualität beim Essen stimmt. Shawarma auch sehr lecker. Preise sind super okay, 5 euro für eine wrap oder 7-8 für gemischte Teller. Und die Portionsgröße ist auch super.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich gemütlich und einladend, dank der warmen Beleuchtung und der tollen Vintage-Einrichtung mit den bequemen Sesseln. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Qualität des Essens. Die Falafel (und alles, was man an der Theke sieht!) sieht fantastisch aus und schmeckt authentisch und frisch. Ich bin auf der Suche nach den leckersten, fluffigsten und knusprigsten Falafeln Berlins. Die Falafel bei Al Hanan sind einfach fantastisch! Wunderbar zubereitet und perfekt gewürzt. Diesmal hatte ich sie in einem Falafel-Hallumi-Sandwich. Frisches Gemüse, aromatischer Käse und eine ordentliche Portion! Das Ganze wird in einem freundlichen und gemütlichen Ambiente serviert. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn man Lust auf Falafel hat.

Es ist so lecker, ich könnte es immer wieder essen!! Die Angestellten sind alle so nett♪

Today we decided to make the kids happy and feed them at a restaurant. We ordered two shawarma sandwiches and two falafel. The falafel was soggy and cooked raw on the outside and inside. The shawarma was very salty and the kids couldn't eat it. When I went to check on the guy with the beard (I think he was the chef), I took the shawarma with me and told him, "Teacher, the kids didn't eat the shawarma because it was too salty." I said, "He's ashamed of himself and I'm telling you, no injections." He made an excuse that the shawarma was salty at the beginning. What was my fault that you made me pay for two salty sandwiches and a cup of coffee at the end?!! Another note: Is it possible that an Arab restaurant doesn't have a bidet or a toilet seat? And you have to ask permission for him to turn on the light!! It was really a bad experience and I regretted it a lot.. May Allah not forgive him for the food.. German: I am very happy today.. The skewer was very good. The falafel didn't taste good!! Who evaluated him and why 5 stars?!! I don't think so.. 1 star.

Great falafel and halloumi plate , every part of the dish is well made

You get a used plastic fork that's briefly rinsed with water when you order takeout... what a pity! The food was okay, but this is unacceptable.

I stopped in here for a spontaneous meal. My order was taken super quickly. I had a small falafel snack in between, just for fun. Super friendly. I had a halloumi sandwich. Nothing to complain about, I moved on full and satisfied. It wasn't difficult for me to choose. I usually have trouble with things like this, but here the great pictures made the decision easy.

Best falafel i had in Europe all summer and maybe the best from the many years i have been to Germany. Quality flavor and price were all nice plus the guys working there were friendly and multilingual to all the guests including me. Terrific meal was very filling because the falafel plate also comes with hummus pita and a big serving of fresh crunchy vegetables. Highly highly recommend.

It's one of the best places in Berlin. The food is delicious, and the staff are very polite and friendly! It's great value for money!

I avoided this place for around 6 months after they forgot my order and after asking what had happened, still took ages to finish it. I went there again recently hoping something had changed but I was wrong: They forgot my order AGAIN😂 The sandwiches are average, staff rather incompetent and the prices on the cart outside are also cheaper than inside. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Go to the Thai spot next door instead. While these guys take 25 min for a lousy falafel sandwich the ladies at the Thai finish 10 proper orders. Better vibes and food, too!

Here you'll find the best falafel, makali, and haloumi on Sonnenallee! Why? Because the ingredients here are all very good and, above all, very fresh. You can tell. The owner is very energetic and truly stands behind his shop. Incidentally, the food always tastes best when he's behind the counter himself.

I wanted to visit Al Hanan for a while and ended up ordering delivery via Uber Eats. I have to say that they have the best falafel I’ve tried in Berlin, maybe in my top 3 spots in the world actually. I have no idea how they make it so crispy on the outside, yet so soft and creamy on the inside, and how it can taste this way after being delivered. Truly outstanding. The shawarma was a bit greasy and too salty for me, but still ok. The sauces were all delicious and the hummus was quite good. In any case, while I’ve definitely had better shawarma in Berlin and other places, I’d highly recommend to try the falafel, which is clearly their specialty.

Really the best shop if you're hungry, don't want to spend a lot of money (which is no longer so easy in Berlin) and want good food. My favorite part is that you always get a fresh falafel pressed into your hand when you order something and it always tastes so good!

I ordered 2 falafel sandwiches and waited 40 minutes. Nobody cares about the customers on site even though there were 3 employees there, all busy with Lieferando and preferring to let the customers wait. Please organize differently.

We recently visited this restaurant in Berlin for the first time. The food and prices were ok, and the staff were friendly. They even brought us some falafel to try before we ordered. However, midway through our meal, we noticed a mouse behind a picture on the wall. When we informed the staff, they acknowledged it, apologized, and simply responded, “Das ist Natur.” This really impacted our experience and left us feeling disappointed.

As the other review below with the video of the mouse, I was there too at the time. I understand that a pipe might have been burst but your waiter said and I will re-phrase “it’s normal, it’s Berlin nature”, thinking we were tourists. That made me think that it’s not the first time. It’s probably best for the owner of the video to share it with Gesundheitsamt and see if they think it’s Berlin Nature. And I don’t think it’s fair to ask him delete the video, it ruined the lunch of everyone and potentially put everyones health at risk. Whatever happens mice shouldn’t be inside.

I've found every meal there very tasty and the service is really, really friendly. A recommendation from me (and I rarely do that).

Nice shop where you can also go and eat. Nice selection and very nice service. If you like garlic, you can enjoy the falafel. Personally, there was almost too much garlic in it for me. The makali falafel haloumi plate is good. The vegetables could be a little warmer.

Absolutely brilliant. Berlin’s a tough place for a shop like this to stand out but they certainly manage it. The reviews do not lie. Portions were great, a generous portion of meat, rice, falafel and salad on my Shawarma Teller with two rounds of Arabic bread included. Great sauces (especially the chilli sauce- puts every other chilli in the city to shame. Smoky, peppery, spicy- the chilli inspired ketchups you find elsewhere are an embarrassment). The taste was excellent too- the shawarma was flavourful without being excessively greasy. If like me you struggle to square your taste for kebabs with your dreams of healthy living, this is the solution. 7 euros would have been very good value for a rough-and-ready takeaway this good, but for a meal in a cosy upholstered chair, surrounded by a pleasant ambience, hospitable staff and nice Arabic decor- unbeatable. I live 10km away but I will make a point of coming back. Well done guys.

The place is nice, nice environment. The bathroom leaves something to be desired, without toilet paper. The shawarma isn't the best. The meat was probably from the day before. Cheap sandwich ok, but a little dry. The shawarma must be dripping with fat. Friendly but slow service.
