Good falafel and other sandwiches with a nice choice of toppings. Vegan sandwiches are more than possible The price is very reasonable (you can add Pommes for just €2) and is a great lunch choice.

Opernpl. 8A nice little restaurant right on Opernplatz with a view of the opera. Especially in summer with rolling outdoor seating with a view of the Alte Oper. But even in winter it is very cozy inside in an upscale atmosphere. The service is extremely attentive and with genuine, warm friendliness. It's like a little trip to Italy. The beef tenderloin was good but standard. The pasta with black truffle (Tartufo Nero) was outstanding, truly a poem.

Schifferstraße 38 - 40Döpfner’s Goose for Christmas is an absolute recommendation. The quality is wonderful and tastes by far the best. The Maingau is a great family-run business and pays attention to quality. Thank you very much dear Maingau team 👍🏼
