The best thing about the Fährhaus is its stunning location, directly on Lake Constance in Meersburg. We had a fantastic sunset as an aperitif. When it comes to food, it's all about the choice. The pizza, which is baked in the pizza oven, is very good. The turkey steak with rosemary potatoes was rather mediocre. First, they brought me fries instead of the rosemary potatoes (passed), then the steak, which was probably thrown back into the pan, was, first, very dry, and second, there was no trace of rosemary in the rosemary potatoes. Neither as a seasoning nor anything else. An apology for the wrong side dish would have been appreciated, but it was more of an annoyed impression. Overall, the service was very reserved and friendly with all the guests. Ironically, I would say that smiling was strictly forbidden. As I said, ironically. However, a photo of us together was readily taken. The prices are reasonable. Conclusion: If you want to eat a good pizza with a dream view and don't care so much about good service, then you can choose the Fährhaus.

The food is great. I've rarely eaten such good pizza. Top quality for a completely fair price. The food is prepared incredibly quickly. The only negative thing is the waitresses, who were quite annoyed at their work.

Great food :-) We were there with a group of 40 people and every meal and drink went great. A special compliment and thanks to Dimitrios our waiter. What you can do is a 5 star service, thank you very much☺️

We were just disappointed yesterday. We had to wait forever when we walked in. When we chose a table ourselves and asked the waiter if that was okay, all we got was a shrug. The entire staff was indifferent and unenthusiastic. The food was the same! The pizza only had cheap cheese on it, and the tortellini and carbonara were drenched in cream and arrived on the table shortly after we ordered them. We were here last year, too, and it was super nice and delicious. Change of ownership? Changed service team? The view of the lake was wonderful, but we won't be coming here again.

I had already reserved a table by phone. My name was barely understood on the phone, which became a bit of a problem on site. The reservation could not be found again, which meant we were seated at one of the many tables that were still available. Unfortunately, this was not in a place with a nice view of Lake Constance. Unfortunately, right from the start we weren't served very friendly by the waitress. Unfortunately, it seemed to us that the unfriendliness was only aimed at us, as the neighboring tables and other guests received a warmer welcome. But the food came quickly and tasted very good. Unfortunately, the service and ambience left something to be desired.

The location right on the lake is of course great, the food is also great, if not great. I'm very satisfied and would love to come back!

I ordered the fish platter which was absolutely not tasty, especially for the money. You could see from the service that the people who were better dressed were also treated better, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they have more money. Pizza was ok, but not great, especially pepperoni from can in acid were not good on pizza. Unfortunately place is not baby friendly: no ramps for stroller or children chair suggested. We just heard from waiters how baby stroller is bothering them and I needed to move it numerous times from place to place :( Kids are your future clients, don’t treat them like this :( Also only three waiters on the whole restaurant plus terrace, so the service was not great, as they were stressed. About benefits: great location and the lake view.

Staff seemed like they were understaffed. The waiter tried to be friendly. We ordered, among other things, a bottle of water with 2 glasses. There must have been some residue in a jar. In any case, the water in it was undrinkable. Despite requests (the waiter only listened to us emphatically) we didn't get a new glass, let alone a new water. The pizza was completely limp (could be torn rather than cut), as if it had been sitting on a pizza box for half an hour. I only ate half of it and afterwards I was annoyed that I didn't let it go back. We got the parmesan cheese for the spaghetti ourselves. Overall very disappointing. All 3 of the women's toilets had no toilet paper.

Italian restaurant, the food is brilliant! The prices are very good and reasonable as the portions are very large. The service is very fast and the waiters are very kind. The view is outstanding as the Lake Constance is right in front of your window and the inside of the restaurant is very welcoming, cosy and nice! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone because I really enjoyed myself here!

I'm really sad that I've driven past this restaurant hundreds of times in my life and only now ate there. It's just great. Beautifully, stylishly and modernly furnished with a view of the lake (the sunset couldn't have been more kitschy). The waiters served us quickly, courteously and warmly, and my friends' little daughter was treated very kindly. Everyone also enjoyed the food very much. If I could, I would give 10 stars, that's how I imagine the perfect restaurant visit would be. Bravo!

We had a wonderful visit to the Färhaus in Meersburg! Without a reservation, we got a seat straight away with a fantastic view – really impressive. The food was absolutely excellent, the Italian cuisine here is at the highest level. What was particularly great was that we were able to watch the pizzas being freshly prepared – a real highlight! A big compliment also goes to the service, especially to the friendly Greek guy (unfortunately I don't know his name), who always put a smile on our faces with his great service and warm manner. The Färhaus is definitely worth every penny and we can only warmly recommend it. Thank you for this special experience – we will definitely be back!

The only chance in winter to get something to eat in Meersburg after 9 p.m.: and we were surprised: pizza big, cheap and good! And there's also a nice warm gas fireplace in the back! That's how it has to be! Gladly again!

The service (according to Jannis) is very rude and exudes a bad mood. When asked if there was a cappuccino with oat milk, a normal cappuccino was served. But I didn't order it. The only answer was “We don’t have oat milk” 😅

There were 2 of us here eating, you are hardly noticed when you come in until you are told that you should just find a place yourself. The food we ordered came within 5 minutes. The burger was cold, the cheese was the cheap chemical sliced ​​cheese from the discount store, the Angus meat listed on the menu was the cheapest ground beef. The Spaghetti Bolonese was broken into soup noodle size, the meat was riddled with lumps of fat and simply pureed to death to cover up the poor quality. Additionally, you can find half a tree's worth of leaves in the sauce. The service was very unpleasant, you were either ignored or the waiters walked in circles around you. In hindsight, we should have gone with the big M. At least the price-performance ratio would be better there.

A great meal and a wonderful view, I like coming here! It's a dream to sit here! A beautiful restaurant with very good food! We were there with a large group! Had reservations too! What is not possible, however, is that the waiter asks us after 2 hours if we will be leaving at 6 p.m. because he has another group! Impossible! He could have said when making the reservation that the table is only reserved for 2 hours! Then we would have gone somewhere else! But something like that doesn't work at all!

It's a nice little restaurant with relatively good food and a nice atmosphere, but above all I liked one of the waiters, his name was Dimitris, he was very nice and funny, he improved the experience by at least 50% without him the whole thing would be just one three and a half star rating. If you're reading this, I had a lot of fun working with you boss, you deserve a raise for your hard work ;)

A beautifully maritime-style restaurant right on Lake Constance - a great location with a wonderful view while eating. A reservation is recommended as the restaurant is always busy. The service was excellent and very accommodating. Our drinks came quickly and even though the restaurant was full, the wait for the food was absolutely fine. Particularly noteworthy is the fish with risotto - simply a dream! All in all, Fährhaus Meersburg is a stylishly furnished restaurant with a great kitchen and service team, fresh, delicious food and a direct view of Lake Constance. A clear recommendation!

Everything is always reserved here! Bad luck if there are “only” two of you and would like a table by the window. No matter which table you like, if there are not at least four of you, then there is only the cat table for you, no matter how friendly you are. When we complained that there wasn't a single window seat available, even though there were plenty of window tables available on Tuesday evening, we were told to choose a table that didn't have a "Reserved" sign on it. We did. Nevertheless, we were then expelled from the table, in a very rude manner. We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary and probably would have spent more money than six normal people, but not at the cat table. Thanks but no thanks!

Ordered 2 x pizza and a large mixed salad to take away for €37.90!!!! Hardly any guests in the restaurant. Both pizzas were almost burnt (but there was enough topping), which you can't say about the "large salad". 1 slice of cucumber, a tomato, a little corn and dressing on iceberg lettuce for €9.90!!! Today I was at the Meersburg ferry house for the first time. I can only report the best. We ate fish fillet with spaghetti and a creamy, fine lemon sauce from the lunch menu, with a delicious mixed side salad. A basket of bread was served with the salad. It was a price that couldn't be beat at €13.80 for a portion. The service was great. The view of Lake Constance is wonderful. Great wine selection presented at the entrance. The toilets were cleaned very cleanly. We went for a walk on the promenade by the lake and went back to the ferry house for an espresso. We would definitely like to come back. We can really recommend the Fährhaus in Meersburg. It's nice that there is such a great Italian restaurant in Meersburg, with a great view of Lake Constance. We ordered 2 pizzas, Pizza Kosta and Pizza Marina to take away. The service was very nice and we had our pizzas in 7 minutes. The price was right and the taste was good. We can recommend the ferry house 😋👍

Fantastic Italian restaurant with a good selection of pizzas and other dishes for young and old. We left €77 with four people and we were really full. The view over the lake to KONSTANZ and MAINAU is really great. However, you should reserve in advance for this.

We ate there twice in the evenings during our vacation. The food was very good! We had pizza, risotto, al forno and a meat dish. Everything was served super quickly and tasted great. The service was - despite the full house - very attentive and friendly. The lake view is unbeatable and can be seen from almost every seat in the restaurant. If we are in the region again, we will definitely come back!

Nice shop with quick service. Vitello Tonnato was very good! There is pizza from the stone oven to watch. Certainly touristy due to the location, but not a “trap”.

The restaurant and ambience are beautiful and the view is a dream. However, the waiter was very unfriendly, stressed and very ungrateful! The pizza dough wasn't good at all, very soft and the mozzarella was rubbery, we expected something crunchy for an oven pizza. Instead of normal salami, we wanted spicy salami on the pizza, which would have cost us an additional 2 euros. I find it very inflexible and expensive. The pizzaiolo was very friendly and attentive, at least he thanked and said goodbye.
