Super nice to sit, great right on the lake, actually nice location, but service extremely unfriendly...incredible arrogance...never again...

Everything is always reserved here! Bad luck if there are “only” two of you and would like a table by the window. No matter which table you like, if there are not at least four of you, then there is only the cat table for you, no matter how friendly you are. When we complained that there wasn't a single window seat available, even though there were plenty of window tables available on Tuesday evening, we were told to choose a table that didn't have a "Reserved" sign on it. We did. Nevertheless, we were then expelled from the table, in a very rude manner. We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary and probably would have spent more money than six normal people, but not at the cat table. Thanks but no thanks!

Everything was great, we had a big family celebration yesterday. The food was delicious, the service was very accommodating, the atmosphere was very nice. We were thrilled and won't be there for the last time. Absolute recommendation, many thanks to the kitchen

Ordered 2 x pizza and a large mixed salad to take away for €37.90!!!! Hardly any guests in the restaurant. Both pizzas were almost burnt (but there was enough topping), which you can't say about the "large salad". 1 slice of cucumber, a tomato, a little corn and dressing on iceberg lettuce for €9.90!!! Thank you and never again

We were at the restaurant at 7:30 p.m. and got a table. But it's better to make a reservation as it was quite busy. Pizza was very tasty, the staff was very friendly and we would like to come back.

We were there twice and worked our way through the menu. Very good food, fair prices and a really great location. I recommend reserving a place at the festival with a view of Lake Constance.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we were seated right in the middle, which I find rather inconvenient. Some of the waitresses are very unfriendly and it is impossible to pass the cards to the table next to ours. Overall, it was very quick and the food was tasty and cheap. Therefore still 4 stars.

Today I was at the Meersburg ferry house for the first time. I can only report the best. We ate fish fillet with spaghetti and a creamy, fine lemon sauce from the lunch menu, with a delicious mixed side salad. A basket of bread was served with the salad. It was a price that couldn't be beat at €13.80 for a portion. The service was great. The view of Lake Constance is wonderful. Great wine selection presented at the entrance. The toilets were cleaned very cleanly. We went for a walk on the promenade by the lake and went back to the ferry house for an espresso. We would definitely like to come back. We can really recommend the Fährhaus in Meersburg. It's nice that there is such a great Italian restaurant in Meersburg, with a great view of Lake Constance. We ordered 2 pizzas, Pizza Kosta and Pizza Marina to take away. The service was very nice and we had our pizzas in 7 minutes. The price was right and the taste was good. We can recommend the ferry house 😋👍

Delicious food, friendly staff and a gigantic view while eating

Fantastic Italian restaurant with a good selection of pizzas and other dishes for young and old. We left €77 with four people and we were really full. The view over the lake to KONSTANZ and MAINAU is really great. However, you should reserve in advance for this.

We ate there twice in the evenings during our vacation. The food was very good! We had pizza, risotto, al forno and a meat dish. Everything was served super quickly and tasted great. The service was - despite the full house - very attentive and friendly. The lake view is unbeatable and can be seen from almost every seat in the restaurant. If we are in the region again, we will definitely come back!

Nice shop with quick service. Vitello Tonnato was very good! There is pizza from the stone oven to watch. Certainly touristy due to the location, but not a “trap”.

The restaurant and ambience are beautiful and the view is a dream. However, the waiter was very unfriendly, stressed and very ungrateful! The pizza dough wasn't good at all, very soft and the mozzarella was rubbery, we expected something crunchy for an oven pizza. Instead of normal salami, we wanted spicy salami on the pizza, which would have cost us an additional 2 euros. I find it very inflexible and expensive. The pizzaiolo was very friendly and attentive, at least he thanked and said goodbye.

Unfortunately, we cannot rate the food because we were completely ignored for 15 minutes despite making a reservation and actively speaking to the staff on site. Maybe some people want the superpower of invisibility, but if you want to experience it, we recommend a visit.

Delicious food in a stylish ambience right by the lake. All pizzas can also be ordered gluten-free for an additional charge of €4. Very well maintained sanitary facilities. Parking spaces 100m opposite the restaurant are also long enough for campervans. One hour of parking costs €1.10.

Super tasty pizzas in a nice atmosphere. Every time we visit Lake Constance we also visit the ferry house. The interior has a modern Italian feel and the views from the terrace and inside are wonderful. A nicer view over the lake. The food is really very tasty. Both pasta and pizza. Although I would rather order a pizza. The espresso at the end is also delicious. We can also recommend the watermelon iced tea, delicious!

The ferry house used to be highly recommended, both in terms of price and quality. Has the tenant changed? In the last 2-3 years the quality has deteriorated so much and the prices have risen dramatically. The pizza base is no longer thin, as it should be with an Italian pizza, but is more like an American pizza with a thick base. The salad was bland, for 2 salad plates we were given 3 mini pizza rolls as a side dish. The knives are so blunt that you can hardly get through the pizza dough. For my birthday I reserved a table for 4 people. I was told I couldn't reserve a table directly by the lake. When we arrived at the restaurant, two tables were reserved. One at the lake, one not. I asked if I could get the table right by the lake. All I got was a curt “No”. There was no response to my question why and my answer that the other people couldn't have reserved a table at the lake either. I had emphasized several times that I wanted a nice atmosphere on my birthday, without success. Finally I got the wrong food. The waitresses were all very unfriendly and didn't smile once. The previous staff was different. The whole ambience was different. The view of the lake is great, but that’s about it.

Very tasty lunch for €13.90. I actually wanted to eat salmon lasagna. But on the board in the entrance I decided on lunch menu number 7 There were 2 pieces of zander fillet with a delicious sauce and steamed vegetables. Beforehand, a delicious salad was served, also with a delicious sauce and 4 small ciabatta rolls. The service was very friendly, the service was quick and the food was very tasty.

I ate here twice, the first time a Pizza Nico, which was relatively good. The second time a portion of pasta with chili and garlic, which was a child's portion at most. The portion was five forks of pasta, which is a bit cheeky for €11. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly either and when asked if he could cut the pizza, he replied that he had been running all day and that's why you had to say something like that before ordering. But the lake view is great.

I would also like to give 5 stars for the service and the food, but somehow they always seem to be under stress and as a guest you notice that often...and taste? So I try to try a different pizza every time, but unfortunately it doesn't have that wow Italian taste.

We ate some pizzas, and I must say that they were really good, but smaller as we Italians usually know... the environment is really very particular, elegant and refined... I really liked the chandeliers, a breath of wind turned like fans ….the only thing…you should clean them every now and then 😉 since I don't like cobwebs I have dust falling on my food.

We ate there 3 times during our vacation. Very tasty food, super nice service. Relaxed, funny and got along really well with our children. Very nice atmosphere with the large windows directly on Lake Constance. We will eat there again on our next vacation. We're really looking forward to it now.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food... The store was empty, we stood in the entrance area but were not picked up. No waiter felt responsible for picking up or even greeting guests. Then you're one restaurant away.

We had a wonderful meal, great pizza and a great fish dish. Wonderful location! Okay - for two people. 80 € is already an announcement, but that's just how it is to leave something on your plate in a beautiful place with a beautiful view and good service and quality. We ate at the Fährhaus on three consecutive days because there are hardly any comparable restaurants. Personally, I attach great importance to stylish, elegant furnishings and was completely convinced by the combination of the incredible view of Lake Constance. In addition, every dish tasted fantastic, regardless of whether you ordered pizza, pasta or a meat dish. The waiters were really on point, you didn't have to wait long for the drinks or the food and you could watch the chef preparing the food in the open kitchen. Overall, the staff was very friendly and humorous, especially with the younger guests, and really made sure that everyone was happy. We will definitely come back next year as soon as we are back at beautiful Lake Constance.

The ferry house is multi-layered. Beautifully furnished inside with a great view over Lake Constance. The service was terrific. We were served quickly and treated very courteously. The food was fantastic. We had a salad with pizza bread and salmon on tagliatelle with chanterelles. Everything was perfect.

Excellent place to grab a meal sitting next to the Constance lake. There was no wait when we visited around 6.30 pm on a weekday. Staff were courteous and food was delicious.

My wife and I had lunch at the Fährhaus yesterday and were extremely satisfied. Both in terms of the friendliness of the waiters and the quality of the food. I still had some sun on my face when a waiter pushed up a parasol. When paying with a card, I told the waiter an amount to type in that was 10 euros higher than expected. He was so honest that he asked if I was sure. Very commendable.

Had dinner at the ferry house yesterday. Delicious food with a lake view. Pizzas and service were very good and quickly served at the table. Reservations are not possible, but there are always tables available so you can sit outside.

Rude staff. I called several weeks in advance and wanted to reserve a seat at the window, whereupon I was told that you couldn't reserve it. When we got there, however, there were reservation signs there. After asking, we were not allowed to sit at the one free window seat because only four people were allowed to sit there. A short time later, another waiter seated two people at the same place. So much for that. Once pizza and pasta was ok, but not really convincing. In my opinion, the nice atmosphere cannot make up for the unfriendliness of the staff. We won't come again.

After waiting for 10 minutes, we were told we could sit “up there”. Where up there? There was only a table for two with two glasses of water and a bill. After another 10 minutes I asked the waitress if we could have the card. The pizzas are average, the dough and cooking are good but the ingredients are very ordinary. The sparkling water is overpriced soda stream and the sodas are served by the glass. Too bad, the view of the lake from the terrace is good even if the restaurant is away from the center.

Very tasty, inexpensive food. Service was friendly and quick, even though it was busy. The great view of Lake Constance was included for free. I'd love to come back when I'm in the area again.

I can't quite understand the bad reviews but it doesn't matter. You can eat well here. Our shrimp salad was very fine and the shrimp were spicy and briefly fried and not too few... Very good and also on the second visit. The staff is very friendly and will provide you with fresh bread without asking when it runs out.

We had a fantastic lunch in the ferry house. Our family of 8 absolutely loved it. The service was outstanding - the staff were friendly, attentive and very accommodating. The view of Lake Constance was fantastic. The pizzas were simply delicious, with a perfectly crispy base and fresh ingredients. We all particularly enjoyed the Tonno and Funghi pizza. The side salad is also recommended. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a family meal. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

You can watch the pizza makers and every pizza is made fresh in the wood-fired oven. Tastes exceptionally delicious!! And the location is also 10/10

Food was very good, but was served at a delayed time. The restaurant areas were divided into different waiters. Our waiter paid little attention to his guests' needs. The neighboring waiter was attentive, but was not allowed to take orders from the other area. After we didn't leave a tip, our waiter asked "if everything was OK?" We replied, "Food very good, service slow." He seemed annoyed and mentioned that it was very crowded. We smiled, whereupon we were rudely waved to the back corner of the restaurant: "Next time you can sit back there."

We have been to the Fährhaus several times and are always thrilled. Super nice service and very tasty food. I can only recommend.
