Essen auf Rädern in Rostock

The location at the city harbor is certainly a plus, but basically it's nothing more than a cheap, pre-baked roll with brown iceberg lettuce and a Bismarck fillet on top. We ate it because we felt like it. I usually go to Warnemünde or Mark Graf Heide to get one, and it's worlds better and cheaper too!

We've been working locally for seven years and enjoyed eating at the AFZ restaurant for the first few years. But for the last couple of years, it's been awful. The food is no longer good quality and not worth the price. The duck leg today was practically inedible… my husband was disappointed. It's a shame; we keep trying, but it's not getting any better. The food was very good, but... the cappuccino for €4.30 was incredibly watery. We complained about the first one, and promptly got a new one, but apart from the good milk foam, it wasn't any better, despite being made with "original Italian beans." What was much worse in this restaurant was the cleanliness. There were so many cobwebs, stretching nicely from lamp to lamp—or was that ceiling decoration, one wonders? 🫣🫣🫣

Der Frühstücksbrunch war insgesamt sehr enttäuschend: Bestellte Speisen fehlten oder kamen unvollständig, und zwischen den Gängen lagen lange Wartezeiten von bis zu einer Stunde. Der Service war unaufmerksam und kaum präsent, sodass wir Getränke mehrfach selbst nachbestellen mussten und sich der gesamte Aufenthalt unnötig auf etwa drei Stunden zog. Das Essen insgesamt war eher durchschnittlich. Schade, keine Weiterempfehlung.
