Delicious fish sandwiches and draft beer at the perfect temperature. I was there on my e-bike. My question about whether I could quickly recharge was immediately answered with a yes. The fish sandwich and beer were great, and the atmosphere was really relaxed. The laser time flew by. If I'm back in Rostock, I'll definitely stop there again. Thank you for your kindness!

An absolute insider tip! The restaurant completely won me over. From the welcome to the last bite, everything was perfect. The menu offers a wonderful selection, and my dish – the grilled lamb with a herb crust – was a dream. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and everything was also beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations. I also particularly liked the relaxed atmosphere – ideal for a lovely dinner with friends or family. Five stars absolutely deserved!

We first stumbled upon the ship restaurant by chance. If you're looking for some peace and quiet and want to enjoy your ordered food, this is the wrong place for you. The owner is very entertaining in his ambiguity, and the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. If you want to laugh a lot, this is the place for you :D

Whether it was fried fish, fries, or potato salad, everything was delicious. The fish cakes were also delicious, although they were nothing special. The prices are a bit high, but you can sit outside in a nice atmosphere.

Thanks to the young lady with the braid, I'd like to give it 5 stars, but thanks to my thirsty colleague, 2 have to go... why now... We usually like eating there, but these days we see who's working the fryer. The young lady is our favorite, but the men, well... not only does she seem to excel there, but she's generally a really friendly waitress. Definitely makes up for the horror of the men... The gentleman, who is probably the boss, is a real imposition... on several visits, we noticed how he serves... He was in a bad mood and rudely, working through a long line at the counter. We even heard the phrase "They shouldn't get on my nerves." On several visits, we also noticed that he's probably his own best customer, and drunk salespeople are completely unacceptable :( and he often shows disrespect towards his employees or colleagues as well... In conclusion, we look at the window first before ordering there... The young lady turns a lot of the men's mess-ups into positives...

Absolutely the worst fish sandwich we've ever eaten. The sandwich was the cheapest of the bunch. The onions were soggy, and the lettuce leaf seemed to have been "found" yesterday. Neither the Bismarck herring nor the matjes were particularly tasty, and all for €5! It's a shame, I would have loved a tasty fish sandwich for that price...

The setting is authentically maritime, and the snack bar is set in a boat, fittingly. We couldn't try the food because card payments aren't accepted. This was pointed out by knocking on a DIN A4-sized sign and verbally instructing us to read the sign. For those who find that too rude, or for those who don't want to get extra cash, we recommend the restaurant "Am Yachthafen." It's quaint and serves sturdy fish sandwiches, but it's located behind the main road. It's only a seven-minute walk away—no further than an ATM—and card payments are accepted there.

I'm originally from Rostock, but I've been living in Thuringia for a few years now for my studies and family. Every time I'm in Rostock, my first stop is this very inn. The fish sandwich simply tastes like home; it evokes memories; it's good for you. I simply feel at home here. I like the cozy ambiance, the familiar atmosphere. The owner is a friendly, humorous person who always puts a smile on my face. I always enjoy coming back here—sometimes even several times during one visit. Because this place is more than just a restaurant to me. It's a piece of home.

The comments here are a bit upsetting to me, because this place truly holds a special place in my heart. Five years ago, I met my now-wife here. It was simply magical. I sat here, we had a beer together, and later, it was our first date. Mike was already a great guy back then. Warm, hospitable, and honest. You just felt at home right away. And what can I say? Today we're married, have two children, and are simply happy. For me, this is the most beautiful shop in all of Rostock. And I'll be forever grateful.

Hello, I'd like to write you an honest and informative review. I would have preferred to give a good review, but this fish stall here at the harbor isn't good. I immediately noticed that the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The fish sandwiches came with very hard and, I think, very cheap rolls. A single limp lettuce leaf was carelessly placed between them. The whole thing was available for 5 euros. The icing on the cake were the fries: old grease, which had a slightly rancid taste to us, carelessly slapped onto an old brown plate, also available for 5 euros. A disgrace! When I politely pointed this out to the staff, the gentlemen became rude. So, a lot of money for nothing, and a correspondingly angry feeling.

The food was subpar, the beer was stale, and the waitress's nails were glittery and extended. I wouldn't want my fish sandwich touched by those hands. The accompanying music seemed tasteless and antisocial.

We ate a fish sandwich in the right-hand part of the ship. It was by far the worst fish sandwich we've ever eaten. And the price was right for the quality. The sandwiches were made to order. Welcome to fried fish hell – with a show! So if you ever want to experience how embarrassment, frying grease, and insults come together in one room – then you've come to the right place. I'd barely had my fries in my hand (freshly pulled from the oil bath of hell) when the boss of the place staggered through the room. He was slightly drunk and asked me quite charmingly: 👉 "Can I have a fries? I haven't eaten anything today." I just looked puzzled – then he snapped: 👉 "Well, with your fat asses, you can eat them all by yourself anyway." ...what?! But it gets even better: Our partners enter the room, and the host immediately fires off another round – verbally, of course: 👉 "I would never have guessed you guys were capable of such men – one of them looks like he came out of a catalog, the other so thin he'd burst through his chair." Yeah, thanks for nothing – stand-up comedy at the village festival level, but without a punchline. And the food? More fat than flavor, more coating than substance. The toilets? I've seen festival toilets that smelled nicer. And that's saying something. Conclusion: If you like being insulted, with bad food and worse humor – please, treat yourself to the nightmare. Everyone else: Run. Just run.

The fried fish was lukewarm, the coffee from the paper cup didn't taste good either, half a liter of beer now costs €5.50!! People smoke indoors, including when preparing food. The term “restaurant” seems completely out of place. And one of the two also seemed drunk to me in the afternoon. The food is prepared with bare hands and smoked in between. For the price of the limp fried fish with potato salad I get first-class Königsberger meatballs in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. At Klement's... The only plus point is the location at the harbor. With a little bit of heart, you could turn it into a friendly fish sandwich snack without following the trendy trend that is becoming widespread everywhere.

We just ate rolls with Bismarck herring here again. The rolls were nice and crispy and the Bismarck herring was crunchy. The lady at the sales counter was very friendly and also nicely packed more fish sandwiches for us to take away.

Crispy fried fish, watery tartar sauce, stale bread rolls and a friendly salesman with a smoky sailor voice. The place was smoky inside... 50 cents off for the old bread roll, which made 7.50 euros. It wasn't what we had hoped for... I'd rather go for fish rolls in Warnemünde... Rostock has nothing comparable to offer here.

Due to the good location and the entire harbor, it was unfortunately the only way to get a fish sandwich, so we stopped here. Unfortunately, there is nothing good to say about the quality of the food from the drunk guy who probably portrays the managing director and stands in the shop drinking snaps with a fag in his hand and chatting to the guests that they should have a drink with him. Completely overpriced frozen goods from the deep fryer are carelessly packed onto the plate and at prices where you would expect. You are sitting in a fine dining restaurant in a prime location. The third person standing behind the counter could have gladly cleaned the completely dirty tables, but he was more busy fiddling with his loudspeaker and blasting the guests with popular music.

This is our white wine in beer glasses! They really didn't have any wine glasses! That says it all about the ambience. Look carefully at what you order. I wouldn't eat anything there. The snipping princess is constantly throwing her hair over the vegetables 🫣

Today I and a very good friend were craving a delicious fresh fish sandwich. The display at that time was very sparsely stocked. With 2 fish rolls where the fish was already a little dry. That's why I asked if it would be possible to please prepare 2 fresh rolls. After several requests, two new ones were prepared for me. However, the two (freshly) prepared rolls were so dry that it was difficult to swallow these dry, hard rolls. Unfortunately not recommended.

If you want original Fischkopp charm, this is the place for you. It's all about giving it out and taking it, which is certainly not for everyone - just like the music. The drinks were okay, but not cheap, which is what you might expect given the aged atmosphere. Our conclusion: Good for a beer in between if you don't want to eat a lot.

Had a fish sandwich there with my son on Saturday. After asking whether you had a "real salmon roll", there was only laughter from the employees and the statement "We only have real salmon". We got a roll with salmon substitute, which consists of pollock or charcoal. Fish sellers who don't know what they're selling are great. Fried fish roll was ok. Conclusion, laughing at customers when you have no idea yourself is the last thing!

We sat down there for a beer after a Sunday walk and couldn't have enjoyed the day more. We received a super friendly welcome, the service was first class and there was also time for a nice chat with the bartender. We felt more than comfortable & would be happy to come back any time :)

Viel zu teuer und die Hygiene ist zumindest fraglich. Matjes war ok. Der "selbstgemachte" Kartoffelsalat ist nur teilweise selbst gemacht, die Sosse schmeckt wie gekaufte. Die Salatbeilage waren fünf dünne Scheibchen Gurkensalat. 17 Euro sind definitiv zu teuer. Die Cola wurde aus einer großen 1l Flasche in dreckige Biergläser umgeschüttet, das Glas ist dreckig und riecht nach Bier.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Dreckige Gläser. Der schlechteste Backfisch den ich je gegessen habe. Hygiene nicht so toll.

Überteuertes, qualitativ sehr schlechtes Essen. In der Bachfischhülle waren ungefähr 30% vertrockneter Fisch. Hygiene mangelhaft. Absolut nicht mehr zu empfehlen.

Ich bewerte nur den Außenverkauf. Keine guten Fischbrötchen, dafür teuer. Zwei Mattjes, zwei Bier 20 Euro. Halbgares Aufbackbrötchen, lieblos arrangiert. Laden und Aussenbereich beim genauen Hinschauen schmuddelig. Es gibt bessere Alternativen auf der Ecke.

Eine schnelles Essen von freundlichem Personal zubereitet. Selbstbedienung. Die Tische/Strandkörbe im Außenbereich könnten eine Renovierung gut gebrauchen.

Einfach urig war es dort mit den Stammgästen. Unser Essen war ok, die Bedienungen waren eher wie Kumpel. Uns hat es richtig gut gefallen. Achja, Rauchen darf man innen auch.

Ein anderes Brötchen erhalten, als das was bestellt wurde. Dies jedoch erst festgestellt, als bereits reingebissen wurde. Dennoch ok.

Uriges Fischrestaurant mit lustigem Personal. Der Fisch ist lecker und frisch, die Salate selber gemacht wie bei Oma. Hat alles super geschmeckt.

Mit viel Appetit lasen wir die Speisekarte, um dann zu erfahren, dass es dies und das nicht mehr gibt. Kleiner Hinweis : Man könnte es von der Tafel wischen. Die Tische sind sehr schmutzig, es wird darauf hingewiesen dass Selbstbedienung herrscht, das Geschirr wird daher nicht abgeräumt. Das weiss aber der Gast nicht, da keine Geschirr Ablagen vorgesehen sind, keine Mülleimer für die umherwehenden benutzten Servietten. Haben den Tisch selbst abgewischt, mit einem sehr ekligen Lappen. Auf der Damentoilette waren alle Türhaken defekt, der Spiegel hing zu hoch, ca über 1.80 m. Andere Gäste meinten, dass sie den Chef darauf hingewiesen hätten, der sagte etwas patzig dass das bereits 800 Frauen getan hätten. Na und? Sollen wir weg bleiben?
