Food poisoning after eating… not recommended!! Also, you can expect to wait at least an hour.

We went to the Christmas buffet at Schnattermann Restaurant with a large group and were unfortunately very disappointed. For €55 per person, we expected significantly more. The buffet was extremely bland – many dishes seemed barely seasoned, if at all. It was particularly disappointing that the menu advertised plaice, which many of us were looking forward to, but it wasn't served. The sauces were all very watery and practically tasteless. The duck, while cooked perfectly, also had very little flavor. The turkey leg was unfortunately inedible. Overall, the quality of the food in no way justified the price. In addition, a drink we ordered didn't arrive for over an hour, which is completely unacceptable at a Christmas buffet with so many guests. All in all, the Christmas buffet was a huge disappointment for us. We unfortunately cannot recommend this Christmas buffet.

The staff has been friendlier! He makes the guest feel like he's not interested in his job.

We've been working locally for seven years and enjoyed eating at the AFZ restaurant for the first few years. But for the last couple of years, it's been awful. The food is no longer good quality and not worth the price. The duck leg today was practically inedible… my husband was disappointed. It's a shame; we keep trying, but it's not getting any better. The location at the city harbor is certainly a plus, but basically it's nothing more than a cheap, pre-baked roll with brown iceberg lettuce and a Bismarck fillet on top. We ate it because we felt like it. I usually go to Warnemünde or Mark Graf Heide to get one, and it's worlds better and cheaper too!
