The staff has been friendlier! He makes the guest feel like he's not interested in his job.

The location at the city harbor is certainly a plus, but basically it's nothing more than a cheap, pre-baked roll with brown iceberg lettuce and a Bismarck fillet on top. We ate it because we felt like it. I usually go to Warnemünde or Mark Graf Heide to get one, and it's worlds better and cheaper too!

7.20 euros for stock potatoes and warmed onions from a can with an inedible, far too fatty piece of "meat". Never again.

We went to the restaurant two weeks ago for a birthday dinner. The rustic style of the interior is inviting and cozy. The young waiter was always polite and attentive, but he was a bit out of perspective. Of two identical starters (soup), one was served after about 45 minutes, the second even later upon request. The soup looked promising, but the flavor didn't live up to it. We then waited a total of 1.5 hours for the main courses! The plates had probably been sitting in the kitchen for some time, as the food was only lukewarm. Only the venison braised meat was a bit warmer and still tasted good. Furthermore, for a price of €25-30, every meal lacked a salad or at least a fresh garnish. We pointed out to the waiter that the food had cooled and the very long wait, and asked for at least a discount. The response, on behalf of the chef, was: a coffee on the house. We politely declined, because who knows how long that would have taken. It's a shame our initial positive impression wasn't confirmed. We won't be coming back anytime soon.
