How sad was I when the Essbar on Pioneerstrasse got different owners and took a different culinary direction (not mine). We had spent many lunch breaks and evenings with friends here over the years with spaghetti butter parmegiano, goat beetroot salad, walnuts and the best latte macchiato ever. The day before yesterday I stumbled upon Essbar Zwo on the internet by chance, looked at the imprint and was very happy to see that the “old” chef and owner is back at work! Now in Flingern and with the name “essbar zwo”. Today I went straight there and was almost touched: it's so warm there, so delicious and even the great service staff is back on board. The food was fantastic, the prices are (unbeatable!) cheap and could even be a little higher given the quality. We're coming back regularly now. It's great that you're back!

Very tasty (lunchtime) cuisine :) The menu is small but nice. The food - I had papardelle beef fillet and salad Nicoise - was very tasty and of really good quality. The price/performance ratio is also right. A real gem in this area.

Wahnsinn das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis...ein kulinarisches Highlight im südlichen Flingern

War letzte Woche mal wieder in der Essbar 2 und es war wie immer: Sehr, sehr lecker! Vor allem das Risotto. Aktuell mit Wirsing und Räucherforelle. Und die Nachspeisen! Frisch und handgemacht! Ich hatte Pannacotta mit Wald beeren-Kompott. Prinzipiell schmeckt alles sehr gut und ist von hoher Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Exzellente italienische Küche, Preis /Leistung absolut top. Gute Auswahl. Vielen lieben Dank für ein leckeres Mittagessen. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
