We visited this Egyptian restaurant today during our trip to Düsseldorf, and I can confidently say that dining here was the highlight of our visit. The indoor ambiance was truly captivating, with a warm and authentic Egyptian vibe. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place! ps: I recommend making an advance reservation, especially for indoor dining, as space is limited.

My first time eating Egyptian food so the owner was very accommodating in recommending which dishes to get for 5 of us to share. The decor felt a bit over the top but each dish from lamb to veggie to chicken was great!

If there is more than 5 stars I would give it to this restaurant, this cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Very welcoming and friendly owners 🥰 The atmosphere is priceless, you would feel like you traveled for a short vacation.. The home made dishes are made with love😋 The services are top-class although it‘s a family restaurant with only two person serving, prices are reasonable for such super good quality food. Can’t stop myself from visiting this restaurant over again.

A must try Egyptian restaurant, the best you can get in Düsseldorf and NRW, a bit expensive but it worth it. You better book via phone call especially in the weekends.

The best Egyptian food I ever tried ...I came to this cossy restaurant from Netherlands and it absolutely deserves ❤️ the food is amazing, prices are reasonable, the service is great and amazing Egyptian vibes ,only one thing the place is small so you need to call and make a reservation before you go there to avoid any waiting time.

طواجن الفخّارة.. وماأدراك ماطواجن الفخّارة؟ وددتُّ، من أجلها.. لو تَخِذتُّ من "دسلدورف" دارا لو ذُقتَ يومًا طعمها لأتيتها ليلًا ونهارا ولقطعت لها القِفارَ وعبرتَ لها الأنهارا أصنافُ أكلٍ شهيٍّ أُعدت بمهارة بأيآدٍ عربيةٍ.. ضربت مثلًا في الشطارة أجادت فنَ الطبخ.. والطبخُ فنٌ وحضارة ذا طاجنُ بامية.. بالموزةِ الضاني تارة وتارة، بالبطِ أو المعكرونِ قل اعطني، فأعطيك أمارة وشتى أنواع المحاشي.. لاتقدر على التهامها انتظارا والطرشي، آهٍ من الطرشي جزرًا ولفتًا وخيارا فاتح شهيةٍ إذا شبعت عدتُ للأكل مرارًا وتكرارا ثم تختم ب"ام علي" على انغام الستِ تغني: "هل رأى الحبُّ سُكارى!" ليت شعري لاتدري كم سعادتي.. اذا نادى المنادي بالسيارة انحرف يمينًا، فالهدف بعد قليلٍ يسارا د. أحمد البنا مطعم طواجن الفخارة دسلدورف-ألمانيا في 09.09.2023

A really nice and cozy Egyptian restaurant, I highly recommend it and especially for groups of people it is a good idea to order different dishes "Tajins" and share them so you can try different things. The Om Ali as a dessert is also a must try! I think it's best to call and reserve/order in advance. When the weather is nice, there is also a sitting area outside

اكل بطعم الوطن و ريحة الذكريات، رهيييييب انا من زمن مكلتش اكل حلو كدا. الست صاحبة المكان هي اللي بتعمل الاكل بنفسها، الاكل معمول باحترافية رهيبة و بنظافة الاكل البيتي. So leckeres Essen habe ich seit längerer Zeit nicht gegessen. Das Essen riecht nach Heimat. Lecker, sauber, herzhaft und die Köche sind sehr nett und professionell. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Tawajin Al-Fakhara - dieses ägyptische Restaurant ist eine echte Entdeckung. Ich war von einem Mandanten eingeladen. Das farbenreich ausgestattete Interieur weckt die Vorfreude auf eine sehr feine orientalische Küche. Es gab Auberginenpaste mit Fladenbrot als Vorspeise. Dann  gekochte Paprika, Zucchinis mit Reisfüllung, dazu Okras, Lammhaxe mit Okras und scharfer Paprika-Sauce, Kotletts vom Lamm vom Grill, dazu gefüllte Weinblätter,  gebratene Leber, eine Brühe mit frischem gehacktem Gemüse, schmeckt ähnlich wie Spinat, dazu Tee mit Minze. Die Würzung aller Speisen ist sehr fein. In der Gewürzmischung ist stets Minze dabei. Zum Desert Alomi aus überbackenem Frischkäse mit gemahlenen und karamelisierten Nüssen und Rosinen. Die Küche ist leicht. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet. Es wird gewünscht und es empfiehlt sich, die Gerichte tags zuvor vorzubestellen.  Die Chefin bedient selbst, sehr freundlich, höflich und zurückhaltend.  Das Lokal wirkt nach außen  hin unscheinbar und ist mehr als einen Besuch wert.

Betritt man die Tawajin Al-Fakhara, hat man das Gefühl, in einem kleinen Laden in einer Kairoer Nebenstraße zu stehen. Alles etwas dicht gedrängt, ein Hauch von Kitsch, aber über allem hängt der Hauch von Liebe zur ägyptischen Küche. Essen solide, etwas fleischlastig, aber sehr lecker. Bedienung super freundlich. Wäre die Tawajin in Kairo, wäre sie vermutlich ein Marco-Polo Insider-Tipp.

The owner and chef is Egyptian. The food is very delicious and taste is authentic. They are very friendly and welcoming. We ordered on the telephone and the food was ready as soon as we arrived. The place is small and can only receive few people, may be in summer when the outside dining area is open it can receive more. The atmosphere is nice. The decoration and the background Om Kalthum songs makes you feel you’re back to Egypt. Prices are above average, but it’s normal for Home made food quality. It is recommended.

Not recommended! Better buy a microwave ready-to-eat from Rewe. The food is basically reheated leftovers which is also overpriced. The owners are friendly but are clearly inexperienced with gastronomy. This place, like many other Arab cuisine restaurants, shall close its business soon.

Halal, Tajin, Fats 🥰 الضيافة كانت أحسن ما يكون، حسيت إني عند قرايبي من كتر الحفاوة وحسن التعامل الأكل طعما كان كويس جدا، ولكن ده بسبب الدهون الكتير جدا جدا جدا، مثلا المكرونة الفرن للأسف كان فيه أكل بايت كتير، مثلا الحمام (بسبب النقطتين اللي فاتوا زوجتي بعد الأكل بربع ساعة، للأسف تقيأت كل الأكل) الخبز بحبة البركة كان من أحلى الخبز اللي كلته في حياتي السعر بصراحة كان مبالغ فيه شويتين تمنياتي بالتوفيق وجميل إنكم بدأتم تهتموا بأراء الزباين
