Ich habe häufig meine Zweifel wenn ich mir in einem Döner Imbiss, Falafel bestelle. Hier habe ich ein Falafel Dürüm gegessen. Das war super Top und hat mich sehr überrascht. Schmeckte besser sogar als die Falafeln in der Schanze. Der Falafel bzgl. ; Daumen hoch! 10/10

Hab bei Lieferando bestellt, in mein Essen waren nicht die Soßen drin, die ich bestellt habe, Fleisch war nicht lecker und es waren 3 Knorpel drine, Pommes haben so geschmeckt als ob die 1 Tag alt sind (wir wohnen 5 min vom Laden weg) börek war ok aber nicht lecker, das einzige was lecker an meiner Bestellung, war meine Cola wie traurig, bestellt woanders lieber essen

Gestern habe ich ein Hähnchenschnitzel bestellt. Es war innen noch roh.Ich habe es dem Angestellten gesagt, aber er hat nicht reagiert. Er hat sich nicht einmal entschuldigt. Das war das letzte Mal, dass ich hier gegessen habe.

Ich wohne 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt von dem Laden, ich warte jetzt seid 75 min auf mein essen! Absolute Katastrophe, als ich angerufen habe wurde mir gesagt ich ja. Baustelle, was juckt mich die Baustelle das ist ein Umweg von maximal 2-3 minuten, und dann einfach zu sagen Entschuldigung ist gleich da ?? Das ist keine Entschuldigung ! Frechheit das mit zahlenden Kunden sowas abgezogen wird!!! Maximal sauer, hätte ich auch selber kochen können !!! Update: nach ganzen 90 Minuten kam denn endlich mal das essen, was soll ich sagen, es ist 3:30 und ich kann vor Magen Krämpfen nicht schlafen, Morgen erstmal zum Arzt...

Nette Dönermänner sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Pommes sind sehr lecker und in 90% der Fälle knusprig und das Geld wert. Ich bestelle jeden Tag dort, weil es einfach gut ist. Fleisch ist richtig lecker, soßen sind wie sie sich beim Döner gehören kein Schnickschnack. Leckerer Döner! Ich merke die Liebe die beim Döner machen gemacht wird, es schmeckt man einfach raus.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Soßen wässrig, Fleisch trocken, Bedienung unfreundlich.

Über Lieferando bestellt, der Dönerteller kam ohne Salat und Soßen an, entschuldigt wurde das mit: „hat der Fahrer vergessen“ und die Sache war aus Sicht des Restaurants beendet. Außerdem hat das extra ausgewählte scharfe Pulver gefehlt und die Bohnensuppe kam kalt an. Wirklich ein schlechter Laden. Wir bestellen hier nie wieder.

Ich habe häufiger hier bestellt und die Lieferzeit wird nie eingehalten, manchmal sogar 2 Stunden. Wir haben schon häufiger Grillhähnchen vom vorherigen Tag bekommen. Pommes sind nie durchgegart, immer fast roh. Lieferzeiten von fast 2 Stunden. Immer wieder eine Chance gegeben. Nein danke, nicht noch einmal.

Wir haben bereits mehrfach über Lieferando bestellt, jedes mal Sehr lecker und sehr Frisch. Die schlechten Bewertungen kann ich bis jetzt nicht nachvollziehen, die Portionen sind sehr gerecht für den Preis und die Qualität absolut Solide.

Null fleisch. Deswegen nur 7.20€ Unfassbar !

Haben mal wieder bestellt, beim ersten Ma echt gut, jetzt totale Enttäuschung👎 - altes Brot - Pommes kalt und hart und damit meine ich nicht knusprig, die schmecken auch als wenn sie alt sind - Portion geschrumpft, gleich viel wie beim normalen Dönerteller + gibt es leider nicht

Nachdem ich den ersten bissen genommen habe hab ich mich gefragt wo die sauce sei darrauf hin biss ich weiter und habe mir meinen ketchup aus dem kühlschrank geholt und drauf geklatch selbst das billig fleisch von lidl schmeckt sogar besser (von meinen dönner und dürrum)

essen immer gut und so, aber man muss nicht jemanden nach nur ein paar minuten schon auf der toilette belästigen, ist extremst unangenehm und man möchte nur in ruhe sein geschäft erledigen. sowas ist nicht nötig

Essen war kalt, Der Döner war total matschig und ungenießbar.Das Essen sah aus als wenn damit schon 1 Stunde durch due Gegend gefahren wurde. Wir werden nicht mehr bestellen. Es war noch nie so enttäuschend.

Das Personal ist freundlich und arbeitet schnell. Ich habe meine Bestellung buchstäblich 2 Minuten nach der Aufgabe erhalten, aber leider war die Qualität des Essens enttäuschend; es hat nicht geschmeckt 🥲

Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend und nett ! Das ist mir wichtig zu erwähnen. Für mich persönlich fehlte dem Essen jedoch das Gewisse etwas. Ich und mein Freund hatten ein Lahmachun und normale Pommes. Vollkommen überzeugt waren wir nicht.

War nicht lecker. Lamacun etwas ekelig, eher klein und mit 9,20 Eur etwas teuer als bei anderen Dönerladen. Positiv sind die netten Mitarbeiter.

Döner und Pomm Döner ansonsten trotzdem lecker und auch wenn es wenig Platz im Raum ist, trotzdem immer Sitzplätze frei und gutes Ambiente

Ich bin immer wieder begeistert EssBahn Döner hat echt die mit Abstand beste Linsensuppe im ganzen Umkreis! Der Dönerteller ist auch immer eine 10/10 und man kann sogar den Salat anpassen, welcher dazu gegeben wird! Die Lieferung ist immer schnell, das Essen kommt immer heiß an und es ist auch vollkommen ausreichend. Ambiente kann ich nicht bewerten, da ich nicht vor Ort esse aber von außen sieht’s gut aus!

Es ist einfach schade das die nicht hinbekommen jedes Mal muss man 1 Stunde auf sein Essen warten dann kommt das Essen immer falsch an was ist los bei euch

I ordered the çiğ köfte plate twice – both times it arrived completely without pomegranate sauce and with only a few tiny pieces of bread instead of lavash, even though both were listed as part of the dish. I even specifically mentioned it in the comments, and yet it was delivered again without either! This is deliberate deception and stinginess, not an oversight. The "side dishes" had nothing to do with a çiğ köfte plate – no parsley, no mint, just two lonely pieces of carrot and half a bell pepper. Instead of a proper meal, you get nothing but dry, raw meat with spartan, unsuitable side dishes. NEVER AGAIN!

I don't know why there are so many negative comments here. Is the competition? So this is my favorite kebab shop. I also recommend the chicken with really delicious fries.

Never again!!! I ordered a kebab through Lieferando. It was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. - The kebab was cold - The bread was stale - The meat was definitely not freshly cut. The salad was soggy. Simply catastrophic. Never again!!!

My visit to Ess-Bahn was unfortunately a complete disappointment. The doner kebab I had been looking forward to was a complete disaster: The doner meat was completely burnt and bone dry. This shouldn't happen. ​Aside from the poor quality of the food, the staff was also very unfriendly. Communication was difficult, as the employees barely understood German. ​The prices are also far too high for such poor quality. There are definitely better kebab shops in Hamburg that are worth the money. I can't recommend this shop and won't go there again.

I order here regularly via Lieferando. Never had any problems. The food is great, delivery times are always on time, and the drivers are always friendly. I once ordered via Lieferando for pickup and received a call asking when I could come by so the order could be freshly prepared. What more could you want? Always happy to come back, Teşekkürler 🤩

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. I just ordered a set meal, the fries were old and dry, making them inedible. The gravy was so thin that everything became soggy and inedible. I couldn't even tell if there was any sauce in it. One star for the fact there was enough meat, but even so, it wasn't tasty in that soggy gravy. I'll never order again.

So the meat has no taste at all, soaked in fat, terrible, the fries are the cheapest, tasteless and dry, the salad is hard and cabbage... just raw vegetables thrown in a box without any spices, nothing, I do not recommend it, it's not really worth it, I have a receipt from Lieferando on my phone, so don't try to delete the review

The doner kebabs are really delicious and everything is fresh. I'd gladly go again.

The worst kebab shop in all of Hamburg. I just bought a kebab box for 8.50, and there's almost no salad, no sauce, just fries with no flavor, no salt, and so little meat. The employee was so distracted and didn't prepare my kebab box properly. Honestly, I didn't want to do it, but I just threw it away. I want my money back!

Update 08/2025 I've tried the delivery service twice now. Once I ordered a veggie dürüm, the other time a veggie döner. Both times, unfortunately, I only received mush 🥺😮. I couldn't even see what was in it, just gray mush in soggy bread or dough. I'll never do that again. Hello Ess-Bahn Döner, the food from the delivery service really shouldn't be that bad. Update 11/2024: They now offer vegan döner meat 🙏🏼✌🏼😋! However, no vegan tzatziki - yet 🥺. That's a great step in the right direction, thank you. It would be great to have your tzatziki prepared with vegan yogurt as an option. --------------- You can get delicious doner kebabs, durum kebabs, and salads to go here. You can also order and pick them up or have them delivered via Lieferando. The staff are super friendly and accommodate all possible requests 👌🙏💕. I find it a bit drafty and cramped for eating there. But it's perfect for grabbing a veggie doner kebab with fries on the way home. They have veggie doner kebabs and durum kebabs, and tzatziki isn't available in a vegan version (yet), only vegetarian. Therefore, it's recommended for vegetarians, but not perfect for vegans yet. But that could still come 😊. I would be happy to have melon kebabs in the summer 👌. Oh, and there are no deposit packaging (yet), maybe that will come? I would get doner kebabs more often then 🥙🍟. Overall, a nice snack bar in the district where you can get the necessary fast food 😁🌮🥙🥪

The standard Döner was tasty and fries were done well. That’s why there are two stars. The vegan option, Cigkoften, was complete garbage. It was not a wrap with all the fixings, just a mound of the Cigkoften, half a head of rotten lettuce,two bits of wrap, and half a lemon which were getting weird on the sides. Like it was left in the fridge for too long. If they fell bad about what they gave us they can reach out. If they delete this I’ll go to other sights like happy cow to worn other vegans and vegetarians that they will get sub par food.

I'm disappointed! I ordered 2 doner kebabs in bread and a mini doner kebab with delivery. Despite the claim that the bread should be a bit crispier, it was light and tasted like rubber. The fries tasted of old oil and there was little tzatziki. As a regular customer, I know this shop from its better days. I'm out of there!

The kebab shop is very small. There are very few seats in the interior. There are some seats outside, but they are right on the street. The kebabs are large and reasonably priced. The chili powders that are offered there are indeed hot and definitely very suitable for every spice lover.

I bought a 200 gram kebab today for €12 and to be honest I was pretty disappointed. In my opinion, the price is completely excessive - extrapolated to the price per kilo, that would be €60, which is simply disproportionate for a kebab. This feels like a rip off. The taste was okay, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. I'm really upset and won't buy there again.

I just bought Dürüm kebab. Price €8.30 would be ok, but the thing was so thin, hardly any meat, just salad. It's just two fingers wide and I'm a woman and have very narrow fingers. I've always enjoyed shopping here, but I can get more for the money elsewhere. It's a shame, but I'll probably never get anything here again.

If you think you've eaten the worst kebab of your life, then you haven't tried this one yet! The kebab was so disgusting that even the onions decided to flee. It tasted like the meat had taken a vacation in the blazing sun and the sauce was so watery that I thought I had accidentally ordered a glass of water. Sorry, I'm not the kind of person who likes reviews or criticism, but I've never eaten such a bad kebab... especially since I ate it for Iftar (breaking the fast), I've had real stomach problems and diarrhea.

Chicken meat causes food poisoning. After that, my brother and I had diarrhea and vomiting, which was a real catastrophe, especially because of Iftar we only ate the kebab, so that can only be it. A refund was refused very disrespectfully, I would not recommend the store!!!

We were regular customers through lieferando. Recently we were no longer satisfied with the delivery so we went to the store and ate there. The amount of meat was small and so we go to other stores where we get reasonable amounts of meat and are treated better. Others The shop had been renovated and has been open for a few days. It is right under the S-Bahn station.

I ordered two chicken kebabs and was unfortunately very disappointed. The chicken didn't taste fresh at all, was partly dry, partly mushy and unappetizing. At home we seriously felt like we might risk food poisoning if we continued eating and had to throw the kebabs away. If this gives us stomach problems, we will go to the doctor and really report it because it is irresponsible to sell such bad meat. Very disappointing.

I always ordered it and I think it’s great, I found a normal place for DÖNER, but today we made a huge mistake. I ordered two menus with cocktail sauce, but one was brought normal, and the second was terribly spicy. Ordered: Cig Köfte 380 grams (with salad, lemon, Dürüm bread and pomegranate sauce) The pomegranate sauce was missing and there were 3 small slices of bread (see picture). I weighed the kofta, a whopping 480 grams. That compensated for the lack of sauce and the little bread. Taste ok to good. Can't complain. Would order there again.

Friends, I can say that it is the best doner kebab I have ever eaten, I recommend it to everyone, doner wrap, especially doner wires and iskender, it literally tastes like the taste of Turkey. I bought food. With fries etc and salad on the side. The store charged me over 3 euros for 2 spoonfuls of salad, which was supposedly enough for 2 people. We ordered a jumbo kebab via Lieferando and received a Dürum. The driver said that we should call the store. Done, then they said we won't get any more jumbo kebabs because they don't deliver anymore. We're supposed to rate them badly, they wouldn't care! Cheeky, especially since a jumbo kebab costs more than a dürüm - then the taste is simply dry. Honestly: never again!

The 5 wings with fries for €8.90 are not only available in the Lieferando app, but also here on your menu WITH FRIES. The fries are simply disgusting, sorry, I think in every order so far where there were fries as a side dish, there were no fresh ones, just old ones that had been warmed up the day before or at least cold from hours ago, dripping with fat and really inedible. This time it was the last order with fries !!! The rest was ok so far

I recommend anyone reading this review to avoid this kebab shop. Why is that so? The list is long. Friends and I ordered kebab plates to eat, the delivery was on time, the anticipation was great, the disappointment was the greatest. The rooster meat tasted like nothing, no proper seasoning and was dry. The veal was also dry and had a very strange mouthfeel, both definitely not good. The sauces were fine, nothing earth-shattering, but no small consolation. The fries are standard frozen fries, which is fine, not everything has to be homemade. But the worst thing was the salad that came with it. Apart from the fact that the top half felt like it only consisted of parsley (and tasted like it), the salad looked anything but fresh and the dressing and the red cabbage were inedible. The salad was so bad that I wouldn't have even given it rabbit. I would have preferred not to give this a single star because I felt unwell in my stomach for hours after eating the food; my friends had a similar experience. I hope I was able to help with this review and hope you find a better place to eat than this one, because I will never be a guest here again.

NO STAR. Yesterday I bought a surprise bag for 4 (worth 12) via togoodtogo. Instead there was indefinable goulash-style mush with a spoonful of rice. Disgusting. There is nothing comparable on the menu and certainly not at €12. Saving food does not mean selling kitchen waste. impudence.

Ordered and received a “diarrhea kebab box” for two people. The meat already tasted old and sour. After eating it, there were a lot of stomach cramps and the subsequent trip to the toilet was correspondingly unpleasant. The surprise packages sold at toogoodtogo are a disgrace! For a promised value of 12 euros you get braised vegetables, about 1 ladle of rice and sauce. Other kebab shops manage to reach €12 with the value of the goods
