In my opinion, the best seitan kebab in Hamburg!

The food arrived cold, and I was told there were problems with the fries and that I would be refunded. So far, that hasn't happened. Uncool. Update: My review was initially reported as "defamation"; apparently, honest feedback isn't always welcome. Google has reapproved it after reviewing it.

Still number 1 in Hamburg! Free tea. Often free dessert too.

Still my favorite kebab in Hamburg. The jumbo kebab, in particular, is pocket-sized and easy to eat, and since the salad is mixed in a bowl beforehand, you don't end up with just one kind of salad in one place. The baklava is also delicious.

This kebab is simply amazing. Especially with the avocado sauce, this kebab is absolutely the best in Hamburg and unbeatable. The free tea before or afterward from the friendly staff is also popular and well-known in this shop. The small dessert, a piece of baklava, which is often free afterward, is simply wonderful and very thoughtful! Where can you find something like that these days!? Simply amazing!

For me, the best kebab in Hamburg! 🥙 A very tasty kebab – a veggie kebab in bread – for €8.50. A "regular" kebab with meat is available for €8. The falafel is also very good in a kebab or bread. I always add one or two börek sticks with feta cheese to the mix. It's a great place to sit and eat. I'd happily come back.

In my opinion, this kebab shop is one of the best in all of Hamburg! I've been there quite a few times now, and my kebabs have always been made with love and are absolutely delicious. The falafel is also incredibly tasty. The staff are always friendly and cater to customer requests. The salad, etc., has always been very fresh, and the sauce selection is extensive and all delicious! The meat has also always been fresh and incredibly tasty. I've even been given a free cup of tea or dessert. All in all, I highly recommend this kebab shop!

Good place with tasty food, but I would change the decor a bit as it is a bit dated.

Es ist leider sehr schade zu sehen, wie sehr die Qualität mittlerweile nachlässt. Mittlerweile 15.50€ für einen Dönerteller, der super lieblos zusammengestellt wurde, nicht mal Käse oder Dressing wurden gegönnt. Dazu sind Teile des Personals wirklich sehr unfreundlich und es geht wirklich nur darum Geld loszuwerden. Es war früher mal sehr viel besser dort, aber heutzutage kann man das nicht mehr empfehlen!

In my opinion, the best kebab in the Gertigstrasse area so far. However, it really depends on which of the guys puts the kebab together. There's a colleague there who does it really well and it's really the best kebab in town. If the other person does it then suddenly it's only a three out of five. Really depends. Even then you can eat it well, but then the whole thing is strangely layered so that you eat everything individually. Basically first the sauce, then the salad and at the end a huge block of meat. So far I've only eaten a kebab once where everything was mixed in a bowl beforehand. It's actually a good concept because everything has the same amount of taste. The guys in the shop are all super friendly and you feel like you're in a restaurant rather than a kebab shop. In addition, there is often tea on site and often a piece of cake as a spontaneous dessert on the house. It is then simply brought to the table. I find it very nice. Highly recommended and also very popular in the area.

Pricing policy very questionable. Mixed experience at Dönerqueen: Döner OK Relatively little meat, sauce only in the middle of the bag...dry at the top and dry at the bottom. I ordered a jumbo doner in bread. With a price of 10.50 euros, it was in the upper price segment, although for this price it didn't blow me away. However, what really marred my experience was the confusing pricing. On the Dönerqueen homepage, the jumbo doner is advertised at 9.50 euros, and if you ordered it for collection via ubereats.com you would only pay 9.50 euros, but I had to pay 10.50 euros. When I asked, the employee simply pointed to a price tag in the store. There is an urgent need for action to update the prices and, above all, to clarify the discrepancy between on-site orders and online offers. It leaves a bad aftertaste to pay more if you order directly in the store than via a delivery platform, especially if the homepage still shows the old prices that suggest what you have to pay in the store. All in all, the kebab was solid, but not outstanding enough to really justify the price of 10.50 euros. However, due to the non-transparent and contradictory pricing policy, I will probably not visit Dönerqueen again in the future. Urgent work should be done on communication and price uniformity in order not to annoy customers unnecessarily.

I didn't look for a moment and suddenly a kebab box with a different meat than the one I ordered was foisted on me. Another customer had already rejected the kebab box because an ingredient was simply thrown on it without question. Very unprofessional!

I ordered a kebab and it was OK, but nothing more. What's noticeable is that the veal skewer looks like it's just real slices of meat without minced meat, which some people call a steak kebab. But the staff said that half of it was made of mince. The meat was very tasty, the salad on the kebab didn't seem quite as fresh and I somehow didn't like the sauce (something made from yoghurt) or it didn't seem to go well with the kebab. Overall, I would say that the kebab isn't particularly outstanding, but it's not bad either.

We were here in a large group and the service was really quick, the staff kept an overview and at the end we even got tea and cake for free. The avocado sauce in particular was very tasty, even if it didn't taste much like avocado :D

Really now...13 euros for a falafel plate? The falafel balls aren't even homemade...no, I'd rather go to Paecetambul or the new shop on Jarrestr. Falafel plate €8.50.

Doner Queen, Jarrestraße 57, Hamburg The kebab box with rice was simply fantastic – super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and the portion was more than generous. On top of that there was baklava and Çay on the house - a really great gesture that made the visit even more enjoyable. The crew on site was incredibly friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. You can tell that there is passion here. Great store – absolute recommendation!

We always eat the Seitan kebab there. Tastes really good! Bread crispy toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. Fresh salad, delicious sauces. So far I've only seen the staff in a good mood and relaxed, even though there's usually a lot going on there. The tables and chairs, dishes and the room are always clean. 6/5. Thanks

The start was 10/10 but unfortunately the meat (veal) was undercooked and raw, so the €8.50 kebab was inedible. If you paid attention to what you were selling, it would be a great kebab and the sauces are good too.

Was a regular customer here for many years. There was previously a good review here, but the Dürüms and Lahmaçuns in particular have deteriorated significantly recently. The taste is still good, but the things have become really small. What used to be a bulging flatbread of dough is now no longer even taut due to the lack of filling. That's just a shame and doesn't fill me or my girlfriend up anymore. I hope that this is just a snapshot of the last few months and that things will get better again. But you have to be able to get enough from a kebab for €8! Go! Donerqueen team

Well I have no idea what was going on but my Haloumi Dürüm turned into a Haloumi kebab and I almost paid double because you never know who will serve you and when. It's super busy and loud and you can hardly understand anything. Taste wise 2/5 points.. :( Sorry!

Waited 2 hours for the food. Trying to reach someone in the restaurant for 30 minutes. Finally reached the restaurant, but unfortunately the employee hardly spoke any German and simply hung up the phone. Tried again, same game. When the food finally came, everything was cold and inedible. I have never experienced such poor service. I expect my money to be refunded.

I ordered a kebab plate for €14.90. Meat tastes mainly of salt and 60% of the content is salad. In my opinion it tastes 4 out of 10.

The kebab is delicious, the price-performance ratio is perfect and the conditions are friendly 👍🏻 My girlfriend thinks the kebab with vegetarian meat is great and I can only recommend the veal 😅 This is a clear recommendation and gets 9.6 out of 10 points from me 🙏🏻

Come in & abi at checkout is really rude, try to ask what he recommends & he rude & stressed says it all. Order with rice, get fries, ask for some rice & the guy pours all over the plate. He realizes my irritation & tries to smooth over the situation by offering dessert. But honestly Sweden's döner beats this every day of the week. Might be among the worst I've ever eaten actually. Dry & the sauce is a nice variation of Rydberg's mango raja sauce.

At Döner Queen, many variations are offered as kebab, Dürüm, box or plate: 2 types of meat, falafel, halloumi, saitan with the usual side dishes Salad, onion, sauces, cheese The staff is very nice and also fulfills requests that are not on the menu (although this leaves little to be desired. I had a halloumi dürüm kebab that was incredibly tasty. There is a wide selection of drinks - I had an Ayran. I would love to come by again

Very bad service, I ordered x6 doner kebabs and wanted to have a receipt. The employee said it wasn't available and instead of six kebabs I got five kebabs!!!!!!!!

Spent 50€ for delivery and had to walk over and get it myself. Terrible service for what is now expensive take out. Still can’t quite believe I actually had to go to the place to get my own food after waiting an hour, calling and being told it would be 20 minutes and waiting another 45. When I arrived our plates hadn’t even been made. If you want to eat here do not order over the phone or with an app unless you plan to pick it up yourself. Thankfully there is another Döner place across the street.

Used to like this place, but it took 2 hours to get the food we ordered over Lieferando, and that’s when we went to pick it up ourselves. We even called after one hour and they said 20 mins, but still the problem wasn’t solved. Never again!

PEOPLE FINGER AWAY!!! By far the unfriendly service in all of Hamburg! How can a kebab man be so unfriendly?! Food is good but just super unfriendly! You lose your appetite! Such a delicious meal should not be served by such unmannered, disrespectful staff! You can tell that only fellow countrymen are treated with respect! Great food, but the man who took the orders yesterday on May 30th and with whom you had to pay, his behavior was really below the belt. The food is great, but it made me lose my appetite!

Really good kebab in Hamburg! Everything is super fresh, great sauces, great selection and the service is great - everyone has been super friendly so far without exception! And I've been there many times :) Kumpir is also super tasty!

Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed for the second time I get my kebab meat served cold. I briefly mentioned that my meat was cold and dry and no one cared about it. I probably won't go out to eat again, sorry. It's not worth €7.50 for cold, dry meat.

We had a veal kebab and a lahmacun with extra meat hot sauce and cocktail sauce. There were sweet, delicious little coconut cakes on the house. The price was very fair for the extra meat. Fresh vegetables and tender meat. If there is something to complain about, it would be that the sauce was a little too little and could have been distributed better/more evenly. Let's remember this for next time. A really good kebab and friendly staff. 😊

We ordered food but the delivery was incomplete. Some items were missing and the staff on the phone was very rude. Despite a subsequent delivery, not all of the missing items were there. This experience left us very disappointed.

Doner really a 9/10, worth the money!

I've always wanted to go to Döner Queen. After a relaxing visit to the Bartholomäus-Therme, I was finally there and pleasantly surprised. Here you can still get “real” kebab meat at a reasonable price. The meat has a good grilled aroma and is not just a smooth chemical mince that is finding its way into more and more kebab shops.

Unfortunately, disrespectful and "laughing" service. If you don't want to offer vegetarian/vegan options, then you shouldn't. In terms of taste and quality, there are definitely better options. At least not here again.

Food is fine, but the staff is most of the time kind of unfriendly. Even if you are there on a weekly basis. Paying by card is accepted only from 5 € on. UPDATE: I will not longer visit this location due to the unwelcoming behaviour. Will give Firat in the Weidenstraße a chance, which is also good in reach, top rated and very friendly as I recognised today.

The employees were unfriendly and the kebab hardly had any meat. I took a bite and it was just lettuce. The kebab men didn't even speak German, I asked for a cloth in the normal way and the employee started talking in some exotic language (I didn't get the cloth). The meat tasted like rat meat and I had diarrhea after eating it.

Catastrophe. Doner kebab is small and ready after 2 bites. Nobody speaks German and the shop is filthy and dirty. Under no circumstances should you go there.

I've been a customer for 10 years and enjoy eating a kebab plate or a falafel here. March 24: I just paid €3.90 for a portion of fries plus 40 cents/ketchup and €3 for a mate. Wow. These prices do not exist anywhere in Hamburg. And yes, there is widely free cay and the sauces are really tasty. But...

If you've found Döner in Hamburg that is as good as here, please let me know, because I couldn't. Maybe only Kardelen in Neustadt comes close...

I have been a customer for over 2 years, the quality has dropped significantly in the last 3 months. When it comes to chicken skewers, the pink meat is cut off. This is not only unappetizing but also harmful to health. You get no response to a tip-off on site. I don't know if the owner has changed but a loss of quality in this form is not acceptable.

It's stupid if you, as a kebab shop, are too stupid to put sauce on the kebab. Not only no sauce on the kebab, but also the extra sauce that was paid for was forgotten. It's really not that difficult, is it? Doner kebab is dry and doesn't taste good. Wouldn't order here again.

Nice, friendly shop with a tasty selection of kebabs. Yes, of course not really traditional, i.e. the meat is unfortunately now on a skewer with minced meat, but let's be honest, €6.50 and a choice of 7 sauces and absolutely friendly. So as not HH satisfied. Do it guys

After being noticed by food YouTubers, we gave this shop a chance in February 24th and were absolutely not disappointed. Quality and service were good, friendly staff and tea on the house rounded off our visit. We will come back!
