Great food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff 👍 The whole thing is unfortunately marred by very long waiting times; The first drinks after half an hour and food after an hour is very decelerating. 😕

A lot of nice and authentic Mexican dishes available. The prices are bit on the higher end but the portion size is good. I had burrito bowl and it was good. Good range of cocktails and mocktails are also available.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend. The waitresses were very friendly and gave us very good advice about the dishes on the menu. The food itself also tasted really good. We each had a starter and a main course and were both very satisfied. We can only recommend it.

We ordered enchilades over the phone. It was not easy to communicate linguistically because the employee had a strong accent. But ok, after all we wanted to eat, not entertain. However, enchiladas were disappointing: hardly any content, hardly any sauce, tortilla not fresh, cold, felt like rubber and stuck to the package... Salmon was too salted... So, for 20 euros per piece it's not worth it at all!

Espitas is a great place to spend some time. There is an appealing ambience. We've been there several times. Whether you eat Alacart or go for brunch, the food is delicious. Despite all this, there is one star less. Last time there was a little more coordination so we wouldn't have had to wait so long for the food. Service person number 6 is only recommended. Nice, friendly, accommodating, always with a good saying on his lips. He doesn't look forward to taking criticism. Thanks. Next time it will definitely be 5 stars again.

Delicious food. Nice menu, plenty of choice. And that tequila cocktail was divine 🙂. Nice and attentive service! Parking lot opposite the restaurant, but unfortunately not accessible with our Dutch bank cards and therefore parked at Lidl.

Hello, Today I ordered 3 takeaway meals from this establishment with my girlfriend, so I only had a brief but very good impression of the restaurant and the staff. I found both good or very good, as you can see from my star rating. The aspects that bothered me could be found in the food. We paid around €35 ​​for one chili sin carne, one nachos and one churros with brownies. Compared to the price, the portions were rather meager. I expected more, especially with the nachos. The chili sin carne with potatoes was more like potato with chili sin carne. Nevertheless, everything tasted extremely good. Churros and brownies were in my opinion the portion size. Well filled but the brownie, although great in taste, was very floury and dry. Every now and then I will come back here, but for the time being I prefer to invest my money differently.

After being welcomed and ordering our food, we had to wait 1.5 hours until the first dishes were served. An attempt to excuse the waiting time ultimately came far too late. Our candle at the table remained off throughout the entire visit and further spoiled the overall impression. When the first plates were on the table, the disappointment continued. The frozen mozzarella sticks still tasted good, but the half-filled enchiladas fell short of our expectations. The tacos weren't the highlight we were hoping for either. The variant with the BBQ ribs tasted bland and the meat was now very tough. The piece of bone that I had between my teeth is hardly significant anymore. Ultimately we were offered a free dessert, which we converted into the drinks we had previously ordered. I can hardly blame anyone, but there seems to be something going on outside the norm. It was our first but also last visit to Espitas.

We ordered our dishes al la cart in the evening. My friend's patatas bravas had a fat cricket in it, which caused her to almost throw the entire meal back on the table. The wait staff, slightly overwhelmed by the situation, justified this nonsense! with the words, those at the next table ordered barbecue. It must have fallen in there... How does a completely different dish from another table end up grilled in the middle of the patatas bravas???? The work in the kitchen should be completely checked, that is definitely not okay and should not happen like this. Keyword: mixing of orders, hygiene and handling of allergens, etc.

Good concept and delicious food. The fried shrimp with aiolo are highly recommended. The service was perfect but the ambience/furnishings are unfortunately a bit old.

As always, very tasty food and also Mexican and local drinks. Ambiance is great. The service is competent and friendly, but could possibly check on the guests more often 😉

Very good service. My meal (2 stuffed enchilladas with different fillings) tasted delicious. The good thing about it is that you can order a mix with different fillings.

Some drinks were missing somehow. Unfortunately, the service was rather satisfactory, with the exception of one operator who made the best of the understaffing. Overall, the staff seemed inexperienced and never showed up or forgot orders.

Went there for dinner, there was cheesy natchos as a starter, the guacamole was forgotten but delivered immediately, and chili con carne, that was ok, served as a soup but a bit "dry". It tasted good, but the consistency was more like a spread... The main courses were tortilla sin carne and chicken bowl. Guacamole and the chili were OK to properly seasoned, the rice, the black beans and the chicken were quickly carried past the spice rack so that nothing could stick. And the yoghurt cream on top also had zero taste. Otherwise everything was ok. When I go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant, I actually assume that the food will have a lot of flavor and not resemble what the diet chef puts together in the hospital.

Very quaint restaurant reminiscent of Mexico. However, far too warm and without air conditioning. After 3 hours the oxygen was used up. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately there were no shrimps as shown in the internet picture.

We had pre-ordered for the buffet and were there 40 minutes early. No problem at all, the table was very well placed, the food on offer was delicious and was always refilled. The wine selected went well with the food. We felt very comfortable.

Very nice and authentic restaurant, very comfortable booths and seats. The cocktails are very attractively decorated and served in a fairly large glass. Price performance is very good here. Unfortunately it only took a very long time until one was ready (approx. 15-20 minutes). You can order the drinks using the app and don't have to wait for the waiter, which we thought was great. Food and overall atmosphere really good. It was a great evening. Unfortunately there is no Corona (beer) anymore. A light and a dark ale and Radeberger are available. Finally, you can have postcards sent with your own greetings.

We were here for the buffet and spent an evening in this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were greeted a bit snippily, but that only put a slight damper on the mood. Even if the lady was certainly in the right, the situation, which I don't want to go into in detail, could have been handled more professionally. The waitress at the table, on the other hand, was very nice, although unfortunately absent too often. She could have generated a lot more sales for us with drinks, but she didn't come back after we told her we'd take a quick look and then order straight away. A pity. The food at the buffet was OK. The most popular things were often out (churros, quesadillas…) and you had to be patient. But it was always refilled. Nobody has to starve here. Some things were quite spicy, which was a minus point for our children. Still, everyone tasted good. The price of €28 per person is certainly reasonable. The drink prices are a little higher, but you can't get more than a maximum of 2 anyway 😎. The area is decorated with lots of Mexican decorative elements, which we found very nice. So if you have a few extra euros in your pocket, you can carry them here with a clear conscience.

We looked forward to the evening for a long time. The facility looks inviting and open, but in certain parts it feels like a bar. We were greeted very friendly and with a big smile, and there was also great support all around. Since we were there on a Friday, this time there was a buffet. The food had a European touch, but nothing extraordinary about it. Unfortunately, some pieces of meat were not always cooked through or were partially fatty. But the drinks make up for this at a fair price. Some seating at entrances/passages can sometimes be disruptive. “A little piece of Mexico” applies exactly here... but a visit for the experience is recommended. But everyone should make up their own minds about it (:

The food was the new Dresden Dungeon. When you decide to go out to eat after a wonderful day, you want to end the day in a relaxed and delicious way. Unfortunately, this option was not available here. First the positive: the buffet was rich and varied. The dessert was largely impressive. The highlight was sweet tortilla pastries. The cold finger food buffet wasn't entirely bad either. Unfortunately, the taste of the rest was very disappointing and had little to do with Mexico. The potato wedges were either too soft or undercooked and had hardly any taste. The ribs were fatty and lacked seasoning. The stew was very bland. In general, the food was bland and one might think that the chefs had no connection to Mexico. As soon as you arrived you didn't feel welcomed by the service. In addition, you were neither assigned to a table nor was it explained where the buffet was located. The guest had to ask everything. Personally, I lacked empathy. The boss knows how to direct his employees in front of the guests. The fresh and live prepared tacos were positive. From the outside the atmosphere didn't seem inviting or Mexican. The interior was beautifully designed. I missed the music, the liveliness and the temperament.

A really nice day was supposed to end with a great meal, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The anticipation for Mexican was very great but unfortunately we were partly disappointed. That wasn't Mexico for me. Unfortunately, the ambience didn't have much to do with Mexican, and there was no music, more like what you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. And in terms of cuisine, well, there was really a lot of room for improvement. Unfortunately, for Mexican cuisine, I found the dishes to be quite blandly seasoned, but Mexican cuisine is very expressive and spicy. So unfortunately the buffet didn't convince me. In this case, it would also be an advantage to at least have spices on the table. The desserts were actually the best at the buffet. You should also live Mexican cuisine. All in all, I was unfortunately rather disappointed, so I personally think the enchiladas in the Dresden center are better.

We were guests here as a family at Easter. We were welcomed here by absolutely nice and friendly staff and our waiter Jan always had a quick saying on his lips, which we liked. But honestly, the food was just plain bad. If I remember our last visit to the Mexican restaurant in Weimar with its delicious food (e.g. delicious Puntas Mexicana), then this was exactly the opposite. I could practically look for the few chunks of meat in my burrito bowl of BBQ ribs and my wife's bowl with the beef loin slices didn't look much better with the little meat. In my opinion, this is definitely not worth 22 euros and given the amount, it could easily pass as a children's portion. At a total of over 90 euros for 3 people, I didn't get full nor did I really like it, so there's no reason to come here again. A pity.

We booked the Easter brunch and were unfortunately disappointed. The food was more like an “all you can eat” than a holiday brunch. There were two different rolls, bland cereal, lukewarm food that didn't look very inviting. Our wish to stretch our legs from time to time was met with grumbling. When we returned, neither the glasses had been put away nor the cutlery had been changed. It's a shame and not acceptable for the price.

Three weeks ago I was at the local restaurant and had the buffet. The dishes offered offer everything that is offered in a Mexican kitchen. The taste of the food was really great. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. There is a very good selection of drinks that every guest will find what they are looking for. A clear recommendation from me!

We received a very friendly welcome and really enjoyed our visit. We thought it was particularly cool to be able to order drinks via cell phone. The food was tasty, but nothing special. We would have liked a little more love when preparing it. But the service was very friendly and we noticed it positively. We will definitely come back again and try a few other dishes.

Espitas Dresden interprets Mexican food quite well. The buffet on Sunday had a wide selection and the kids also got their money's worth (chicken nuggets 😂). The ambience was convincing and the service staff was attentive. A clear recommendation.

Catastrophe. Waited 1 hour for the food, the wrong food came. Then the right food came, very little sauce for the ribs, spring onions over the ribs (we've never had that before). Waiter came to us, didn't understand German, wanted to speak to a new waiter, then a waitress came too. Spring onions were then taken down upon request, this is what the plate looked like, the sauce ran completely down the edge of the plate. Were very disappointed with your employees.

Were there for the second time now. Back then the service was pretty poor but this time it was 10/10. Especially the nice gentleman with the Witcher necklace 😁 always listening to you, very friendly and ready with a joke. And the food was once again very successful. We would love to come back and can only highly recommend it

We went to Espitas Dresden for brunch on Sunday. The atmosphere is cozy, although very narrow and dark. It's best to take a table near the window. The service was okay. The rare visits of the waitress to the table can be compensated for by placing a digital order using a QR code. There are still points deducted because the online version does not reflect the analogue drinks menu 1:1. (See e.g. types of tea) The food is generally tasty and well prepared. In addition to the hearty Mexican dishes, there are also classic rolls and spreads. At around 12 the freshly prepared pancakes are exchanged for hardshell tacos. For children there are chicken nuggets and rice pudding. All in all, you can have a really good brunch here.

Cool location and the Sunday brunch in particular is definitely worth a visit. You need a little patience as the service is a bit slow, but if you're at brunch, it's just great.

Silvestermenü war nicht überragend. Keine Beschriftung an den Speisen. Gut war der Fisch und der Schweinebraten. Der Rest war irgendwie etwas aus der Tiefkühltruhe. Wie es a la Carte wäre kann ich so leider nicht beurteilen. Service schnell und sehr freundlich.

Eines der schlechtesten Restaurants, die ich kenne. Nach 2 Stunden kam dann endlich mal das Essen, das natürlich kalt war. In meinem Frischkäse Spinat Enchilada hat dann gleich noch der Spinat gefehlt. Zu den Garnelen wurde der Dip nicht mit serviert. Erst nach zweimal Nachfragen kam er dann… das Essen natürlich inzwischen kalt. Revanchieren wollten sie sich mit einem Dessert… zu den Schoko Churros gab es nun allerdings keine Schokosauce mehr. Ein Wasser wurde noch vergessen und eine Portion Nachos, die wir auf Nachfrage immerhin innerhalb von 20 Min. bekamen. Einfach nur schlecht

Buffet sehr sehr gut, aber den Preis um fast 8,- Euro anzuziehen ist leider übertrieben. Kann mir das bedauerlicherweise nicht so oft leisten

Sehr nette Bedienung. Hat oft geguckt und gefragt. Wurden schnell bedient und hatten zügig essen und Getränke. Essen war warm und lecker. Gibt einige vegane Varianten. Leider wusste die Bedienung nicht ob die churros vegan sind. Ambiente war schön am Fenster. War nur etwas kalt im Lokal.

Waren das 1. Mal dort. Sehr lecker , tolles Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung. War erst skeptisch bezüglich den Preisen aber bei den Portionsgrößen definitiv angebracht. Nur das Hühnchen war etwas zu trocken aber dennoch sehr lecker. Uns hätte man raus rollen können ! Ach und die Lampe über uns war defekt und da durch etwas dunkel. ABER wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Update : Wir haben gesehen, dass ein Lieferservice vorhanden ist. Also den Service in Anspruch genommen,denn mit Baby Essen zu gehen, ist eher unpraktisch . Die Auswahl über Lieferando war wesentlich kleiner, das was ich eigentlich das nächstes mal probieren wollte , war leider nicht dabei. Also bestellten wir dasselbe, was wir im Sommer schon hatten. Das Essen kam leider fast kalt an , es war weniger Dip/Soße /Beilage vorhanden und da durch , dass es schon fast kalt war , war der Teig bei mir schon recht fest/hart . Meinem Partner war es zu trocken . Aber es wurde pünktlich geliefert. Klar geliefert und vor Ort ist ein Unterschied, aber dennoch etwas enttäuschend. Also für das gelieferte Essen nur 3 Sterne .

Der Service war super. Wir hatten einen super netten jungen Kellner. Die cocktails sind sowieso immer lecker. Es ist sauber. Gegessen haben wir nichts.

Wir waren das erste Mal im espitas und überwältigt von Umfang und Qualität des Essens. Nun gut bei 24,90 nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen aber wie gesagt... geschmeckt hat es toll. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr aufmerksam, höflich und sehr um unser Wohl bemüht. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Espitas mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen! Sehr sympatische und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wir hatten die pulled pork Tacos, die chimichanga und 2 hausgemachte Eistee: Limette/Maracuja. Alles Top, nichts zu bemängeln :)

Es wäre an der Zeit das Ambiente zu überarbeiten.Essen es fehlt das Mexikanische etwas ( langweilig) aber es ist noch nichts verloren Personal war gut!
