Outstanding quality of the food.

It was our first time at Lukas and we were very satisfied. The beer garden is cozy, the service at the bar is very friendly, and the food and coffee are excellent. We'd love to come back.

We were invited to a wedding at the historic train station in Kupferdreh. The ambiance is truly unique – the large hall, the lovingly restored details, and the inviting atmosphere make the venue something special. The waiters were also attentive, friendly, and helped with many organizational issues. Unfortunately, the catering staff's organization was very disappointing. Orders were not reliably kept, despite prior arrangements. Particularly serious was that, despite explicitly requesting gluten-free food, one guest was served gluten-containing food, which led to significant health problems. That shouldn't happen in a professional restaurant. Overall, a beautiful venue with dedicated service staff, but there is significant room for improvement in the organization and handling of special dietary requests.

We held a party there with 48 guests, and the terms and conditions were agreed upon in advance. The entire evening went very well. The service was very attentive, the buffet was excellent, and the man at the grill did a great job. All agreed-upon services were fulfilled. The guests were very satisfied and left in the early hours of the morning in good spirits.

We were invited to a wedding reception. The beer garden is very nice. The coffee table and the selection of cakes were very good. Dinner in a separate dining room was very nice. The barbecue buffet was fantastic. A great selection. But what was truly impressive was the attentive service. I've never experienced anything like it before. Wow, very high praise. We were very satisfied.

We discovered Lukas about a year ago and immediately fell in love with the LuCar location. We knew right away: this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding. Now the time had finally come. The guests had been invited and most had confirmed their attendance, and everyone was excited and curious. Both we and all the guests were totally impressed and delighted by the food and the ambiance. The service was consistently friendly and clearly enjoyed the party. We would definitely come back for our next big event. Many, many thanks to the kitchen and the service for this fantastic celebration.

Very friendly and attentive service. The burger was delicious, highly recommended. The portions were large and tasty. The ambiance could use a few flowers 🤔 Otherwise, a good and pleasant visit. Parking (with relatively few spaces!) is nearby.

Too bad. It used to be nice here. Not anymore. It's self-service in the beer garden, even though staff walk around and clear away guests' glasses (only when asked, though). Why should I get drinks then? And of course, I don't remember the table. Why? So I'll go back and get a table. Sorry, folks, but it's not working. Today was the last time I was here.

Highly recommended as a wedding location. We celebrated our wedding here in May with around 50 guests. The ambiance in the former waiting room with its mirrored bar is very nice. It doesn't need a lot of decoration. For one part of the program, a huge TV was set up and then taken down again. When it was time to dance, a table was removed to make the dance floor larger. The service staff were very friendly and attentive right up until the end. We didn't notice anything of the party that was taking place in the room next door. The food was absolutely delicious. The starter plate served at the table was a dream. We already knew that the kitchen was talented. All arrangements in advance were straightforward, and the chef and staff were always available to answer questions. The prices were more than fair for what we got. We were completely satisfied and would happily come back for dinner.

I almost never write reviews, but you should be aware of what you're getting here. The prices for the food are rather high, but I can't say whether this is justified, as you have to stand up in the garden area after the appetizer to even get the main course. After a 70-minute wait, this was finally explained to us after we asked. For a restaurant in this price range, a friendlier approach would have been desirable. The second star in service is for the friendly temporary waiters.

My 60th birthday was a truly memorable one at Lukas Garage. A delicious barbecue was held in the well-kept, cozy beer garden, and there was dancing in the garage until well into the night. Great, relaxed atmosphere, dedicated team.

Nice ambience, nice service, I can't judge the food as we only had a drink

Easily accessible restaurant with a beer garden, playground, and parking. We came back from paddling hungry and shared a fries (luckily, we shared). The price for a single portion of fries with ketchup is €7.80 (as of May 2025). For that money, you can get a falafel pocket, for example. The price/performance ratio is absolutely not right!

We celebrated my 60th birthday in the Red Hall - good food in a very interesting historical setting and with a good atmosphere. Thanks to the Lukas team for the very good support. We will recommend Lukas and would be happy to come back.

The burger was pretty decent and the portion sizes were good too. However, the prices were really an announcement that had no relation to the ambience or the food. The service also had little interest in living up to its name.

I hosted a brunch for family and friends in March 2025 and it was a wonderful day for everyone! We had the red waiting room to ourselves - the service team was very professional and totally friendly, the food was outstanding and really surpasses any classic brunch and everyone felt completely at home. The little guests were also looked after so that everyone had a great time. The entire location is simply a very special place with a beautiful atmosphere. Thanks also to André Krämer for the (for me) perfect implementation from the initial contact through coordination to the last email: it was the “perfect match”: relaxed and professional!

Some employees try very hard, others just seem to be present. Praise to the young lady behind the counter and to the kitchen. When the store was 1/3 full, we had to remind us twice that we wanted to pay. After 15 minutes and demonstratively putting on our jackets, we were then charged. It's a shame the ambience and the surroundings weren't bad, my wife doesn't want to do it again 🤷‍♂️ ……

The food was great, that much in advance. Positive things have to be said too. We celebrated a big birthday here last year and I have to say that overall I found it very disappointing. There is no relationship between price and performance!!!! I wouldn't recommend booking a drinks flat rate at all. People rarely asked if they wanted something to drink. When I was eating, I had to ask the waitress myself that I would like to have a glass of wine with it. Quick money earned for owner André Krämer. He sees himself as a very professional entrepreneur, which I cannot underline. There was no response at all to feedback after the celebration in which the conclusion was both positive and negative. I have a different idea of ​​a good entrepreneur, with whom I have a lot to do professionally. The service was generally friendly, but I lacked a bit of initiative here. In retrospect, I was annoyed that, as the partner of the birthday child, I didn't take care of one thing or another and unfortunately relied on the house staff. It's actually a shame, the location and the food are really great and somehow it's not perfect because everything around it doesn't fit with what was previously discussed.

The Christmas brunch at the Culinary Station gets worse every year; with the price now changed from 50 to 60 euros, a corresponding price/performance ratio would have been expected. Constantly empty food containers, an absolutely poor selection of products (for the price) and no fresh bread rolls that were far too small. No fresh bread, just raisin mares. The warm brunch buffet consisted of exactly three different options (for 60 euros, a cheek). The service still seemed overwhelmed given the significantly lower number of guests this year. In this form we will no longer be guests at the Christmas buffet.

We celebrated our mother's 80th birthday at Lukas in November and were completely satisfied! The food was delicious and plentiful, the staff friendly and professional. A good place to celebrate for young and old! Many thanks to the whole team! Gladly again for the 100th! ... but definitely before that too!

It would be a tip to make good use of the place, the style of the place should be changed, to attract more customers of all ages, it will be a new option in Kupferdreh, Hamburger Station, various types of Hamburger, Beef, chicken meat with pepper will be new at the Hamburger station, think about this idea...it will be a success.

Ich habe im Empfangssaal des Bahnhofs mit ca. 60 Gästen meinen 60. Geburtstag gefeiert. Von der ersten Anfrage über die Beratung zum Essen, zu den Räumlichkeiten (es gab zwei zur Auswahl) und zum Ablauf der Feier habe ich mich gut betreut gefühlt. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gab gutes und reichliches Essen. Der Umbau für eine Tanzfläche hat gut und reibungslos geklappt. Während der Feier fühlte ich mich rundum gut betreut. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Meine Gäste waren von der Location insgesamt begeistert (tolle hohe Decke!!).

Von der ersten Anfrage über das persönliche Vorbereitungsgespräch mit Herrn Krämer, die Feier selbst bis hin zur Abrechnung ist alles perfekt und wie abgesprochen gelaufen, so dass ich meine Feier voll und ganz genießen konnte. Das Team vom Lukas war immer aufmerksam, hat mitgedacht und war auch mit den letzten Gästen auf der Tanzfläche noch sehr geduldig.

Our wedding reception at Lukas was simply perfect! The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive - the team fulfilled every wish and made our day even better. The food was an absolute highlight. Everything was delicious and wonderfully presented. The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the celebration and made our special day unforgettable. We can highly recommend Lukas to any couple who wants to experience an elegant and culinary first-class celebration!

The restaurant is 1 minute away from Lake Baldeney. Everything is wheelchair accessible, which was important to us. (Except toilets!) The food was good. The service was excellent and helpful. We will be back.

Wir hatten die Garage inkl. Biergarten für eine Firmenveranstaltung mit knapp 30 Personen gebucht. Die Abstimmung vor dem Event sowie Umsorgung während der Feier als auch im Nachgang verliefen absolut reibungslos. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage (gerade bei sommerlichem Wetter). Durch das Setting mit Innenbereich (inkl. Bar, verschiedenen Sitz- und Stehgelegenheiten) sowie im Außenbereich wird gerade bei Firmenveranstaltungen das Networking gefördert. Das klappt hier eindeutig besser als in einem reinen Restaurant Set-up.

We used to love eating at Lucas or just sitting in the beer garden on a bike ride. We're not so enthusiastic about it anymore. - The food is expensive above average, - opening hours are extremely limited, - The selection in the beer garden is small (e.g. there is no cake) Even with all the challenges that the catering industry has to deal with, this is a shame and you can certainly get more out of what is actually a great shop - just like it used to be.

Yesterday I spontaneously went to Lukas with my girlfriend. After a great joyride at Lake Baldeney, we decided to spend the evening “Dancing into May”. We were very excited about the location and had a really nice evening. Music was great, the food was great and the strawberry punch was also great. Kudos also to the good service (outside next to the grill station), who were very attentive to the guests. Thank you very much and see you next time.😊

After a bike tour we went to LUKAS today and enjoyed a beer, a cappuccino and a bratwurst. We really have to say that everything was very tasty. A special highlight was the boss himself, who stood behind the grill with a cigarette and Stauder. This gave the whole thing an authentic and friendly flair. Hence 5 stars because nothing more is possible.

Incredibly invasive encounter!!! When I entered the restaurant with my toddler, 1.5 years old, a lively waitress in her mid-50s came and grabbed my child. Grabbed it, picked it up and held it to her chest for several seconds. I took, oh, I snatched my child from her and I went on without a word. I was so speechless that I couldn't even find the right words. My punishment was to follow. We were then just left to sit and wait. Didn't serve us - but everyone else who came and sat down. Then we left again. This was accepted without a word. That was probably the punishment for not approving of the lady's absolutely aggressive behavior. Was a guest for years, now never again!!!

Obwohl wir eine bestätigte Reservierung hatten, standen wir am 27.01.24 vor verschlossenen Türen, telefonisch war niemand zu erreichen, auf meine Email mit der Bitte um Rückruf wurde erst am folgenden Tag geantwortet. André Krämer schrieb, dass es ihm Leid täte aber meine Reservierungsanfrage sei an einem 'quirligen' Tag im Weihnachtsgeschäft gekommen und bei späterer Durchsicht habe es bei dem Betreff 'Reservierungsanfrage für den 27.01.24' bei ihm nicht 'geklingelt'. Er hatte mir an diesem 'quirligen' Tag jedoch auf meine Email geantwortet, den Termin bestätigt und wir hatten noch einige Details besprochen. Er entschuldigte sich dann noch für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten. Unannehmlichkeiten? Davon abgesehen, dass das für mich als Organisator natürlich eine hochnotpeinliche Situation war, versuchen Sie mal mit 25 Personen, inclusive einiger über 90jährigen Familienmitglieder an einem Samstag Nachmittag eine geeignete Location für 25 Personen zu bekommen. Wohlwissend, dass das nicht mehr rückgängig zu machen ist, hätte ich einen minimalen Kompensationsversuch erwartet. Lieber Herr Krämer, Sie sollten unbedingt davon ausgehen, dass wir Ihnen keinen weiteren Anlaß bieten werden, dass bei Ihnen irgendetwas 'klingelt'. Leider werden wir somit auch nie erfahren, wie Sie reagieren, wenn wir mal 'vergessen' unsere Rechnung zu bezahlen, weil es ein so 'quirliger' Abend war. Gastronomen beschweren sich ja, dass immer häufiger Reservierungen abgesagt werden, wenn Gastronomen ihrerseits so lapidar mit einer vergessenen großen Reservierung umgehen, und dann auch noch dem Gast versuchen, die Schuld zuzuschieben, dass er einen missverständlichen Betreff benutzt habe, dürfen sich diese Gastronomen auch nicht wundern, dass es so ist wie es ist. Fazit: Organisation und Kommunikation unprofessionell. Wer reservieren und sicher gehen will, auch hereingelassen zu werden, sollte sich vorher besser nochmals rückversichern, oder direkt woanders hingehen.

Zu Weihnachten zum brunchen dort gewesen. Die Lokalität ist schön und gut gelegen. Für knapp 50 Euro war die Auswahl beim Brunch für meine Erwartungen zu klein, dafür gibt es aber keinen Stern Abzug. Abzüge gibt es, da teilweise Platten leer waren beim Frühstück, diese wurden auch erstmal nicht so schnell wieder aufgefüllt, sodass die Auswahl kleiner war. Deutliche Abzüge von mir gibt es aber beim Mittagessen. Ich verfasse selten Google Rezensionen, aber das Mittagessen hat es nötig gemacht. Eine Beschilderung des Essens wäre an sich gut gewesen. Das Gulasch war meiner Meinung nach nicht essbar. Rotkohl ebenso wenig. Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für 50 Euro war die Qualität des Essens aber definitiv nicht zufriedenstellend

Very attentive staff, nice atmosphere and good food is good, but as a group we were helped quickly and easily with setup and process. We like to celebrate in this train station. Also worth mentioning is the perfect location near Lake Baldeney. After a long walk, this is the perfect place to stop.

Vor wenigen Tagen habe ich im Lukas eine Familienfeier im Party-Charakter gefeiert. Wir waren knapp 60 Erwachsene und ein Schwung Kinder. Alles war tipptopp: die Location sowieso, Essen prima vom fliegenden Buffet bis zur Mitternachts-Currywurst. Hervorzuheben ist noch das tolle Team - sehr engagiert, freundlich, zuvorkommend und einfach gut drauf. Vielen Dank an das ganze Lukas-Team!

Nach einem schönen Spaziergang am See, kann man hier nett einkehren und Kleinigkeit genießen oder Gerichte von der Tageskarte, oder von der "normalen" Karte. Schönes Gebäude mit historischer Geschichte.

Ein wunderschöne, altes Bahnhofsgebäude. Tolles Ambiente mit sehr nettem Service und lecker Küche.
