El Mérida • Tapasbar in Melle - Telefonnummer, Reservierungen, Bewertungen

Guten Tag, am Samstag den 7.9.2024 um 18:55 Uhr habe ich zusammen mit meiner Begleitung hungrig und in wirklich aller bester Laune dieses Restaurant betreten. Leider wurde dieser Besuch zu einem ABSOLUTEN ALPTRAUM-ABEND, der von der örtlichen Polizei mit größter Umsicht und Souveränität ruhig beendet wurde. Hier nochmals das Dankeschön von meiner Begleitung und mir für den zum Glück sehr kurzen Einsatz der Polizei. Aus meiner Sicht wurde schon nach 1 min erkannt, dass dieser Einsatz eigentlich überflüssig war und nicht notwendig gewesen wäre. Hier die komplette Schilderung und Bewertung meines bzw. unseres "Erlebnisses": Wir haben uns um ca. 18:55 Uhr im Außenbereich auf der Stein-Terrasse an einen Platz für zwei Personen an einen Tisch gesetzt. Nach ca. 5 min. wurden uns die Karten überreicht. An dieser Stelle gesagt: Die Karten auf der Holzplatte finde ich extrem unpraktisch (mal schnell blättern nicht möglich, keine Nr. an den Gerichten). Wirklich auch nichts Schönes... Erste Überforderung: Wir sollten unsere Bestellung selbständig mit einem Kugelschreiber auf einem Zettel aufschreiben, was wir extrem befremdlich fanden, aber dann auch getan haben (habe ich in einem Restaurant noch nicht erlebt). Gefahr dabei: Sie können die handgeschriebene Schrift eventuell nicht lesen! Und wo bleibt hier eigentlich noch der Service, der selbstverständlich sein sollte? Personal hat die Arbeit zwar erledigt, aber war EXTREM LANGSAM und hat DEMOTIVIERT und TRÄGE GEWIRKT. POLIZEIEINSATZ -> man muss hier wirklich Angst haben, als unschuldiger sowie unbescholtener Bürger mit der Polizei in Berührung zu kommen, SCHLIMM: Unsere bestellten 2 Menüs kamen nach ca. !1 3/4! Stunden um ca. 20:40 Uhr, nachdem uns zunächst aber SOGAR NOCH FALSCHE GERICHT serviert wurde. Ich habe direkt festgestellt, dass meine bestellte Hauptspeise Paella in jeder Hinsicht EXTREM ESS-UNFREUNDLICH präsentiert bzw. serviert wurde. Konkret haben mich die Größe und die Vielzahl der ungeschälten Meeresfrüchte überall und tief in dem heißen Essen zugegeben absolut überfordert. Ich habe dieses Gericht direkt im Restaurant reklamiert bzw. kritisiert. Ich habe Ihnen dies direkt energisch mit dem Gericht in meiner Hand kundgetan, aber ich habe in absolut keiner Weise Sie oder das Personal angeschrien, wie Sie dies in der ersten Diskussion mit Ihnen behauptet haben. Dies entspricht schlichtweg NICHT DER WAHRHEIT! Sie haben KEINERLEI LÖSUNG angeboten, was sehr unflexibel Ihrerseits war. Sie waren selbst SEHR, SEHR UNFREUNDLICH! Nach dieser 10-minütigen Diskussion mit Ihnen habe ich mich wieder an meinen Platz gesetzt und wollte die Paella, so weit es ging essen. Hierbei habe ich nach ca. 2 min. zwei sehr SCHARFKANTIGE CA. 1 1/2 GROßE SPITZE MUSCHELSTÜCKE MITTIG IM GERICHT und im ersten Moment schwer sichtbar entdeckt (siehe Bilder). Sie haben behauptet, ich hätte diese beiden Stücke so präpariert! Unverschämt, entspricht schlichtweg NICHT DER WAHRHEIT! Zu allem Überfluss haben Sie es noch zum Schluss direkt nach der Bezahlung fertig gebracht, meiner Begleitung zu erzählen, wie schlecht ich mich denn wohl benommen habe. Zum Schutz Ihrer Gäste und allgemein möchte ich Ihnen zusammenfassend noch diese Ratschläge mit auf den Weg geben und dies erwähnen: 1. Bitte überprüfen Sie Ihre gesamten internen Ablauf-Prozesse noch einmal. SIE SOLLTEN AUCH KRITIKFÄHIG SEIN! 2. Scharfe Muschelstücke gehören nicht ins Essen!! Bitte teilen Sie dies Ihrem Koch am besten noch einmal mit. Das ist definitiv nicht normal. 3. Bitte lassen Sie sich und Ihr Personal noch einmal schulen hinsichtlich der Bedienung von Gästen. Sicherlich könnte man Prozesse noch schneller gestalten. 4. Sie haben extrem unprofessionell und überfordert gewirkt und mit der Verständigung der Polizei in jeder Hinsicht unangemessen überreagiert. 5. Mit dem Polizeieinsatz haben Sie sicherlich keine positive Atmosphäre bei Ihren Gästen geschaffen und können darauf auch nicht stolz sein! 6. Wir wollten bezahlen (was wir auch zum Schluss getan haben), aber Sie haben ohne Vorwarnung die Polizei verständigt. SCHLIMM!! 6. Service viiiel zu langsam 7. Preis-Leistung auch nicht okay! Portionen sind viel zu klein! Sie haben uns SEHR SCHLECHT UND DEMÜTIGEND BEHANDELT, nur weil ich etwas energischer Kritik geübt habe. In der Gastronomie sollte man mit so etwas umgehen können. Überdenken Sie hier Ihre Handlungen hier bitte noch einmal... Danke an das Restaurant-Team für die zur Kenntnisnahme dieser Rezension Mit freundlichen Grüßen D.T.

Super great tapas with a convincing price/performance ratio. Maybe a little tip to the owners: The entrance area could receive a little more attention. The dried plants and rubbish are not exactly inviting.

Ganz schlimm, wie unprofessionell die Inhaber mit Kritik umgehen. Sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wer Kritik an einer Paella übt, die voller ungeschälter Meeresfrüchte ist, die alle gepult werden müssen, wenn man tierisch Hunger hat und voller scharfkantiger Muschelschalen, muss Angst haben, dass die Polizei gerufen und behauptet wird, man hätte die Inhaber angeschrien und bedroht. So ist es uns ergangen. Wir konnten nicht glauben, wie uns geschah. Die Inhaber haben sogar behauptet, wir hätten die Muschelschalen absichtlich zerkleinert (!!). Wir werden diese Tapasbar nie nie wieder betreten. Das war ein sehr unschöner Abend für uns. Nachträglicher Beitrag am Mo., 09.09.2024: Nachdem ich heute vielen meiner Kollegen von unserem „Erlebnis“ in der Tapasbar El Mérida in Melle erzählt habe, die genauso entsetzt waren wie wir, hat mir ein Kollege erzählt, dass auch er dort schon einmal Tintenfischringe reklamiert hat, die seiner Meinung nach nicht mehr gut waren. Es wurde patzig und unfreundlich reagiert und keinerlei Kritik angenommen oder Lösung gefunden. Er hat offenbar Glück gehabt, dass die Besitzer nicht die Polizei gerufen haben und er dort unfreiwillig festhing, so wie wir. In der Antwort des Restaurants wird mit Schlagwörtern wie „Respektlosigkeit, Diskriminierung“ usw. um sich geworfen. Wie respektlos und demütigend ist es, Gäste, die ganz normale Kritik am Essen geübt haben, mit Androhung der Polizei dort von 20:30 Uhr bis nach 22 Uhr festzuhalten, obwohl wir ständig darum gebeten haben, zahlen zu können, damit wir dieses Schreckensszenario endlich verlassen können?

It's really bad how unprofessionally the owners deal with criticism. We've never experienced anything like this before. Anyone who criticizes a paella that is full of unpeeled seafood, all of which has to be peeled when you are very hungry and full of sharp-edged mussel shells, must be afraid that the police will be called and claim that you have shouted at and threatened the owners. That's what happened to us. We couldn't believe what was happening to us. The owners even claimed that we had intentionally crushed the mussel shells (!!). We will never enter this tapas bar again. That was a very unpleasant evening for us. Subsequent post on Monday, September 9th, 2024: After I told many of my colleagues today about our “experience” in the tapas bar El Mérida in Melle, who were just as horrified as we were, a colleague told me that he had also complained about squid rings there before, which in his opinion were no longer available were good. The reaction was rude and unfriendly and no criticism was accepted or a solution was found. Apparently he was lucky that the owners didn't call the police and he wasn't stuck there involuntarily like we were. The restaurant's response throws around slogans like "disrespect, discrimination," etc. How disrespectful and humiliating it is to keep guests who have made normal criticisms of the food there from 8:30 p.m. until after 10 p.m. with the threat of the police, even though we constantly asked to be able to pay so that we could finally put an end to this horror scenario can leave? The restaurant's response to our review only further confirms our bad impression of this restaurant.

Good day, On Saturday September 7th, 2024 at 6:55 p.m. I entered this restaurant with my companion hungry and in a really good mood. Unfortunately, this visit turned into an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE EVENING, which was calmly ended by the local police with the utmost care and authority. Here again I would like to thank my companion and I for the fortunately very short police deployment. At around 6:55 p.m. we sat down at a table outside on the stone terrace at a place for two people. After about 5 minutes the cards were handed to us. At this point: I find the cards on the wooden board extremely impractical (not possible to browse quickly, no number on the dishes). Really nothing nice either... First overwhelm: We had to write down our order independently on a piece of paper with a ballpoint pen, which we found extremely strange, but then did (I've never experienced that in a restaurant). Danger: You may not be able to read the handwritten text! And where is the service that should be a given? Staff got the job done, but were extremely slow and seemed demotivated and lethargic. POLICE OPERATION: Our ordered 2 menus arrived after approx. !1 3/4! Hours at around 8:40 p.m., after we were initially served the wrong dish. I immediately noticed that the main course I ordered, paella, was presented and served in an extremely food-unfriendly way in every respect. Specifically, the size and variety of unpeeled seafood everywhere and deep in the hot food overwhelmed me. I complained or criticized this dish directly in the restaurant. I made this clear to you directly, forcefully, with the dish in my hand, but I in absolutely no way yelled at you or the staff, as you claimed I did in the initial discussion with you. This is simply not the truth! They didn't offer any solution, which was very inflexible on your part. They were very, very unfriendly themselves. After this 10-minute discussion with you, I sat back down at my seat and wanted to eat as much of the paella as I could. After about 2 minutes, I discovered two very sharp-edged, 1 1/2 cm large, pointed, very sharp pieces of mussel in the middle of the food and at first they were difficult to see (see pictures). You claimed that I prepared these two pieces like this! Shameless, this is not the truth! To make matters worse, at the end, right after paying, you managed to tell my companion how badly I had behaved. To protect your guests and in general, I would like to give you the following advice: 1. Please check your entire internal processes again 2. Spicy pieces of mussel should not be eaten!! Please let your chef know this again. This is definitely not normal. 3. Please get yourself and your staff trained again on how to serve guests. Processes could certainly be made even faster. 4. You appeared extremely unprofessional and overwhelmed and inappropriately overreacted in every way by calling the police. 5. With the police operation you certainly didn't create a positive atmosphere among your guests and you can't be proud of that! 6. Price-performance not okay either! They treated us very badly just because I criticized them a little more forcefully. In the catering industry you should be able to deal with something like that. PS: In your reply to this review (which is my first), please write true stories with clear facts. However you always mention this...constructively and I repeat...with respect and TRUTH!! A really nice location with good food and nice service. We each had three tapas and were absolutely full afterwards. You don't necessarily know that from tapas. This also creates a great price-performance ratio. The food was very tasty and nicely prepared. The selection and offering leaves virtually nothing to be desired. If you like tapas, you should definitely stop by here!

Delicious Very friendly We recommend

This was our second time eating tapas here as we liked it so much on our first visit. And it was excellent again - tapas were very seasoned, but not overly seasoned. Better than a lot of what we tried in Osnabrück. Drinks/cocktails also very tasty. The service yesterday was extremely friendly and committed, that must be emphasized. The terrace is a great place to sit in the evening to enjoy the last rays of sunshine. We'll definitely be back!

Tapas bar with somewhat cool furnishings and large windows facing the street. Service very nice and friendly. In terms of taste, the tapas didn't blow us away. But perhaps we had too high expectations of “Spanish-Mexican” in Melle. Parking spaces behind the house. Toilets accessible at ground level.

As always, great, my husband and I are super excited. The terrace is a dream, great to come down to.

07.Mai 2024 Das Essen war sehr gut. Allerdings war der Servis dagegen sehr unmotiviert. Wir warteten 30 Minuten, bis endlich die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen wurde. Innerhalb von 3 Std. war es nicht möglich mehr als 2 Getränke zu bestellen. Ich denke, dass Personal hat sich dem passiven Lebensstil angepasst, oder zu viele Schlaftabletten geschluckt. Da geh' ich doch lieber wieder zum Italiener und genieße den Abend dort.

May 7, 2024 The food was very good. But if I have to wait 30 minutes for a drink order to be taken, I get in a bad mood. During the entire evening it was not possible to order more than 2 drinks within 3 hours. The service was very unmotivated and sluggish. I have rarely seen such a sleeping pill in service. I think that staff has adapted to the passive lifestyle.

The food was very tasty, the service was very friendly and the room was beautifully designed. It's just a bit noisy when all the tables are occupied as the room isn't that big.

A really very good tapas bar. The food is always perfect and the service is great. A little tip: reserve a table as there is always a lot going on there.

Great food, friendly staff. But the acoustics are terrible. Super loud and you can understand your neighbor's conversations better than the person opposite you! Some acoustic panels might help! Then gladly again!

In this Spanish restaurant, modesty is reflected in its design. The ambience seems a little loveless, as if the potential of the room had not yet been fully discovered or exploited. It lacks those little details that otherwise convey warmth and character. The food, however, is acceptable. The dishes that come to the table are solidly prepared and meet the basics of Spanish cuisine, but without reaching culinary heights. It's the kind of meal that one would describe as okay, without highlighting any particular taste sensations. In summary, the restaurant offers a satisfying experience for those looking for uncomplicated, authentic Spanish cuisine, without placing particular emphasis on a welcoming or innovative ambience.

Very friendly staff. Sometimes you have to wait a bit because it's busy. But they strive for quick service.

Just a catastrophe... We had reserved for three and were asked if we could sit at a table for two. Well, what can you say? No? It was explained to us that other guests would suddenly come in groups of four instead of three. At first we were really angry, but as I said, you can't say no. When another two tables became available next to us, they reacted immediately and moved the table to us. Very well done!! 🫶🏼 So we had enough space and everyone was happy. The food was very good, as was the service. The menu has everything you need for a good evening. And what particularly stood out for me; vegan dishes Simply something special for a place like Melle! Because I benefit from it myself. The evening went so well that we reserved a table for Thursday.

Sehr nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen!

Tolles Lokal, sehr leckeres Essen, und freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter.

Also das Essen und der Service sind perfekt, aber es ist sehr laut dort und wir saßen hinter der Tür, sodass es sehr zieht, wenn Gäste rein und raus gehen, dadurch haben wir sehr gefroren. Aber Service und Essen waren wirklich top top.

Essen war hervorragend. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir saßen direkt am Fenster und dort war es etwas kalt. Aber definitiv nichts was einen Punkteabzug rechtfertigen würde.

Sehr gute Auswahl und leckeres Essen. Der Service war super aufmerksam und freundlich. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Dazu kommt kostenloses Parken auf einem großen Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Restaurant.

War überrascht so eine gute Qualität in Melle zu finden. Die Sardellen waren hervorragend. Ebenso der Salat und die Dorade.

Wir haben einen tollen Abend hier verbracht. Die Atmosphäre ist modern und zugleich gemütlich. Alle Mitarbeitenden, die wir kennengelernt haben sind super nett, wir haben uns wohlgefühlt :)

Meine Dame und ich hatten heute unseren Hochzeitstag in dem Lokal gefeiert. Nach dem herzlichen Empfang haben wir dort hervorragend gespeist. Das Ambiente und die Platzverteilung sind wirklich ansprechend. Die Toiletten sind sauber und auch für eingeschränkte geeignet. Im Sommer kann man auch auf einer Terrasse sitzen. Ich war schon zweimal dort und es passte immer alles: Essen, Service, Ambiente alles top. Gerne wieder...

Eine wirklich tolle Tapasbar. Wir sitzen an einem Tisch direkt neben der Theke. Der Service ist prima, die Bedienung sehr nett. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Insbesondere erwähnenswert ist, dass das Timing perfekt ist. Die Vorspeise wurde ganz korrekt vor dem Hauptgang serviert. Das zeugt von einer guten Ausbildung. Die reichhaltige Getränkekarte wird durch eine Weinkarte abgerundet. Und als I-Tüpfelchen gibt es auch eine reichhaltige Cocktailkarte. Veganer und Vegetarier sind hier gut aufgehoben. Der Service war hier top im Thema. Wir werden die Tapasbar auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen.

10 er Tisch vorbestellt, Service sehr freundlich und flott auf den Läufen. Sehr breit gefächertes Speisenangebot und gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen unt toller Service.

Ich war mit 2 Freundin dort essen. Ein sehr schönes Ambiente, wo man sich wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und Service ist hervorragend, was man heutzutage nicht oft mehr erlebt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und höflich. Ich kann das Restaurant wirklich weiterempfehlen.

Gestern zum 2ten Mal vor Ort. Essen, Ambiente & Freundlichkeit top. Doch je voller, je chaotischer wurde es. Die Getränke-Nachbestellung plus Dessert brauchte drei Anläufe...und, die Geräuschkulisse im Innenraum war unfassbar, man musste sich tw. anschreien. Da sollte man vielleicht auf Dauer nach einer Lösung schauen. Das wird....! :-) Update: Heute mit Freunden zum Essen wieder dort gewesen. Essen war der Hammer, super-lecker und gute Portionen (und dann noch Patatas aufs Haus, wow 😋), Service sehr nett! Nach der Renovierung kann man sich jetzt sogar richtig unterhalten, mega. Bis bald 🌶️

Einfach eins der besten Restaurants die es gibt! Passt alles 👌🏼

Ich hatte die Plata Barcelona bestellt, der Rinderfleischspieß sehr zäh, die Datteln im Speckmantel sehr fettig vom Öl. Unsere Tischwahl wurde nicht respektiert, obwohl viele Tisch frei waren. Die Leitung war sehr unfreundlich. Es wurde kein Ausgleich für das zähe Fleisch in Form eines Espressos angeboten.
