There are enough free places available. Reservation not mandatory. Homemade special sauce in the product portfolio, but is similar to commercially available tzatziki. Food inspired by Greece is offered. Cashless payment possible, but analog cancellation conditions are a bit too complicated and time-consuming. Savings offers are certainly possible for the attentive customer. Striving for Greek flair and climate due to the open door with a light hairdryer in the evening. Free aperitif/digestive (ouzo) unfortunately a little more temperate than the food.

I was dying because I had drunk a lot yesterday. I came to this restaurant with great pleasure, ate Gyros, drank beer, and it was divinely delicious. It is very rare for me to find a restaurant with a great I recommend this establishment.

Greek restaurant on the edge of Ingolstadt's old town. The location was good. Service was there - an employee who is always standing in the door, but seems very reserved. Service, ordering and delivery of food. Actually too fast, food prepared? The food was delicious, but the meat was too dry for me personally. Gyros - didn't feel fresh off the spit.

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at El Greco. We have reserved the back room for this. There we had enough privacy for our celebration. There were 23 of us and the space was perfect. There was also a side room where we could dance. It was beautifully decorated, matching the theme of “25” and “silver”. The food was excellent. There was a starter and we ordered meat and fish platters as the main course. The waiter stopped by regularly and brought our orders very quickly. All in all it was a very nice evening. We can only recommend the restaurant!

We have enjoyed coming here for a long time. But recently the restaurant was emptier and the food wasn't so good anymore. The gyros pita that we got to take away today were the finale: we couldn't tell whether it was bread, tomatoes or tzatziki, but it tasted spoiled and moldy. When we called the restaurant, we pointed out the bad taste and asked them to see what had gone wrong. There was a small apology and then we were wished a nice evening. Friendly, yes, but 12 euros is too expensive for spoiled food. A pity.

Great restaurant!!! We rented the next room for our child's birthday party. The food was very tasty. Great praise for the conditions -> very friendly and accommodating. The boss herself was particularly hard-working! We even thought of fresh flowers at the tables!!! The price/performance ratio is also optimal!!! It's definitely not the last time we've celebrated there! Keep it up!!!

Pitty that the latest review was back in 2020 as far as I can see … VERY nice cosy place with good Greek-minded (and typical smelling ;-) atmosphere ! We went for a casual dinner-eat my wife and me during passing-by and I must say the place surprised us a lot ! We had a very typical ouzo and retsina (no commercial stuff) and very fine starters ! The maindish, even if “only” gyros, was served in a hotpan on a wooden base, making it sizzly and staying nice and warm throughout the meal - together with the side dishes and Greek farmer salad, it was a nice and great casual and enjoyable meal ! The waiter and service was perfect, friendly, eye for detail…correct ! Forgot to take photos as it was a quick casual eat but still an enjoyable one. In a (small) city as Ingolstadt for sure a PLUS this place - I recommend.

The El Greco team is just to love. They are very welcoming and warm-hearted people. We rented a room for a birthday, which was beautifully decorated. The food was wonderful and there was everything from the Greek specialties. In terms of price it was also right and all in all it was a nice experience. I have been a guest at El Greco for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. What I eat was and is always top. The service is very attentive, but sometimes slows down a bit in the later hours. The ambience is typically Greek at a good level. I love this location with all its nooks and crannies 😊

Came in for lunch while walking around the alt Stadt. We are English speakers with little German and were able to have a wonderful time here. We had a party of 6 with 4 kids and were able to get in with no reservations. The food is a little pricey but worth it because it's delicious and the service is phenomenal. The atmosphere is fancy but not too fancy for kids.

Leckere und sehr große Portionen (Oktopussalat, Knoblauch Baguette mit Zaziki und einmal Gyros mit Pita). Der Service war hervorragend schnell und freundlich aber als leichter Minuspunkt wäre der Preis bei manchen Gerichten aber absolut empfehlenswert für jeder Mann/Frau/Kind.

Familienbetrieb. Personal freundlich und kompetent und zügig. Speisen lecker und reichlich. Preislich etwas teurer, jedoch viel handwerkliche Arbeit - sprich keine TK Ware!...Ambiente authentisch, in meinen Augen zu viel Weihnachtskitsch, aber Geschmackssache... Großes Lob für die Oma und die Küche :-)

Wir waren zu dritt Essen. Das Essen war mittelmäßig, meins sollte mit Käse überbacken sein...der Käse war total verbrannt. Der Salat war mit viel zuviel Essig angemacht. Im Lokal war nicht viel los da hätte man Zeit gehabt das Essen anständig zu machen, insbesondere bei dem Preis. Wir kommen nicht nochmal

Ich habe anstatt gebackener Auberginen einen Vorspeisenteller bekommen. Ich mag keine Tomatensoße. Der bestellte Tzaziki war auch nicht dabei. Auf die Frage, was das alles ist auf dem Teller, war nur ein Schulterzucken die Antwort, keine Entschuldigung. So war das für 17€ ein teures Mittagsessen da ich davon fast nichts essen konnte. Die Kellner machen einen gelangweilten Eindruck, von griechischer Freundlichkeit keine Spur.

Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen. Ich bestelle mir eine Kindergericht, da ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht so viel essen kann. Was bekam ich eine Portion für Erwachsene. Für ein Kind wäre das zuviel gewesen. Leider musste ich daher mehr als die Hälfte stehen lassen. Meinem Mann hat es gut geschmeckt. Dem Kellner hätte ein kleines Lächeln gut gestanden.

War zum ersten Mal hier bei diesem Griechen und war sehr begeistert. Freundliche Bedienung - Essen war sehr lecker - Portion war reichlich. Preis /Leistung hat gepasst. Gerne wieder!

Ein guter Grieche, Fleisch bissal trocken Auch leicht überteuert Personal richtig nett Terrasse liegt direkt an der Straße, allerdings fahren Autos langsam vorbei

Wir waren mit zwei Personen Anfang Juni 2023 hier Essen. Es war der Mittwochabend vor Frohenleichnam. Wir hatten super Wetter und hatten uns vorher auch die Rezessionen angesehen, die ja nicht wirklich top waren, wir uns aber selber ein Bild machen wollten. Leider waren wir überhaupt nicht zufrieden! Der Service lies sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir wurden gesehen wie wir uns draußen hingesetzt haben und dann ist 15 min nichts passiert. Als wir gerade wieder gehen wollten, gab man uns eine Karte und wir konnten schnell noch etwas zu trinken bestellen, danach war erstmal wieder Sendepause. Nach ca. 12 min bekamen wir unsere Getränke (nichts aussergewöhnliches, Cola und Spezi), die Bestellung wurde aufgenommen und fertig. Einmal Souvlaki mit Gyros und Pommes und Gyros mit Metaxa Sauce und Pommes. Das Essen war wieder rum zügig fertig, war aber aus unserer sicht nicht wirklich lecker. Die Portion waren für den Preis nicht wirklich üppig, die Pommes waren so lala, daß Fleisch war ebenfalls von nicht sehr guter Qualität. Gyros mit der Metaxa Sauce schwamm im Fett und beide Gerichte waren von der Qualität, von uns aus gesehen, maximal mit Ausreichend zu bewerten! Da wir auch einmal zum WC mussten, konnte man auch sehen, daß es leer war und die Bedinungen lustlos am Tresen standen. Wir würden dort nicht mehr hingehen.

Sehr zu empfehlen ElGreco Teller. Beilagen leckere Kartoffelscheiben und super Zaziki. Schöner Salat. Service schnell und aufmerksam. Preis wie bei anderen auch. Klare Empfehlung Fast besser als andere Griechen.

Essen war sehr gut 👍 Der Service auch ... Naja das Ambiente im Lokal könnte man auch was moderner sein ... Man fühlt sich wie in der Vergangenheit vor 30 Jahren wo das mal modern war ...

Wenn Sie gut griechisch Essen gehen wollen, empfehle ich lieber ein anderes Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, nur zu den Preis leider zu wenig. Der Service ist nicht nett und könnte verbesserungswürdig sein. Im Lokal ist ist angenehm zu sitzen. Daher bekommt das Restaurant keine Weiterempfehlung von mir.

La salsa Tzatziki era buona. MA la carne non era per niente buona e mi hanno portato il bicchiere sporco, che puzzava di muffa.

Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben ein so schlechtes Gyros gegessen. Kein Geschmack, schlechte Fleisch,qualität und trocken.

Die Lage ist gut, die Leute im Service bemüht und nett. Unsere Fisch/Fleisch Kombi war trocken und fade, die Pommes sehr lecker. Die gegrillten Kalamari hart und wenige. In Summe zu viel Geld für zu wenig Qualität.

Es ist gefährlich zu essen... Das billigste Fleisch auf dem Markt finden Sie hier. Die Öle aus den Fritteusen müssen zuerst schwarz werden... Aus diesen Ölen wird auch der Moussaka hergestellt... Guten Appetit

Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist gut, auch das Personal ist nett. Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Einige der Gruppe hatten in der Folge darmprobleme… ich würde nicht mehr zum el Greco. Bezüglich covid hat sich niemand gekümmert/geprüft.

La comida muy justa, el servicio aún peor. Estuvimos esperando más de media hora para que nos recogieran los platos y tuvimos que levantarnos para pedir la cuenta. Cuando fuimos a pagar no aceptaban tarjetas que no fueran alemanas, alucinante que en Alemania no se acepten tarjetas europeas. Muy decepcionante y el trato de la mujer que nos atendió aún lo empeoro más, haciendo ver que no hablaba inglés y cuando le contestamos en alemán se hizo la sueca. Situaciones como esta te entristecen, europa es un ideal que le queda mucho camino por recorrer.
