Great steakhouse in the mid-range price range. Our company of 12 people slightly overwhelmed the waiters, but that's not the rule. I can definitely recommend El Cadoro.

We were here for the first time, thanks to many recommendations from friends. The restaurant is furnished in a cozy, rustic style with lots of wood. Warm light, very cozy. The staff tried very hard, attentive and friendly. Empty glasses are quickly refilled and the food came quickly and smoothly. But then came the disappointment. My pork fillet was very small and covered with a light, tasteless sauce in which some cut mushroom heads were floating. A few fries and a handful of bacon beans. I had imagined fillet in champion cream to be different. My wife's pot of sliced ​​meat was swimming in sauce and didn't have enough rice. All in all, too expensive for portions that are too small. Other restaurants do this much better. It's a shame I can't understand the many recommendations.

The ambience and location is very nice. It really irritated me that we were served by a total of four different waiters. The food was okay in my opinion for a restaurant of this class. A bit inferior in terms of the quality of the meat but the prices are decent. Anyone who has been to a steakhouse restaurant should go there to form their own opinion.

This time the 250g fillet steak was particularly good! Service perfect as always. Small note: The Pallatschinken with ice cream is unfortunately not quite as good, a bit tough. Better an ice cream for dessert or another pilsner 😉 As always good! Very good value for money and excellent quality for a steakhouse. Better than Blockhouse and Maredo. For a good steak you need good meat without a lot of frills. That's why you have to reserve a table in advance ;-) The quality is still top!

Great restaurant with delicious food and a generous menu. We had two steaks, various side dishes and a dessert. The meat was cooked to perfection, the side dishes were delicious, as was the dessert. In terms of price, the whole thing is within reasonable limits. Neither cheap nor particularly expensive. The service, however, is top class. Rarely have I seen such a well-structured team at work. We were welcome guests with our dog despite the “full house” and are therefore very happy to come back.

The El Cadoro steakhouse is simply great. Without a lot of frills and fancy, this restaurant focuses on the essentials: excellent food and friendly service. The ambience has a nostalgic charm, as if you were transported 20 years into the past. The furnishings are cozy and reminiscent of the good old days, which makes the evening particularly pleasant. The steaks are cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. I particularly liked the simple but high-quality selection of side dishes. The fries and vegetable side dishes were fresh and tasty. The drinks menu is also well-stocked, with a solid selection of wines and beers that pair perfectly with the food. El Cadoro is the ideal place for anyone who appreciates good food without much fuss and wants to enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere.

I've been coming since I was a child and I still think it's great. Awakens nostalgia and the food and the staff are simply great.

Since I was little, I always went there with my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday. Now we eat there at least once a year, on our anniversary. How good it was when we reserved everything was full, that speaks for itself 😀 Some waiters have been working there for ages and it's always super friendly service. The food is nothing to complain about, it is very tasty and the portion is more than generous 😀 Despite the fact that every table was occupied, we received the drinks and food very quickly. Can't beat the taste. Keep it up.

We have been regular guests in this wonderful restaurant for well over 30 years, and we have always been able to rely on it. The atmosphere is inviting, very very clean and not too loud or too old-fashioned. Rustic but with style. The service always gives 100%, is always courteous and friendly and also responds to special requests. And the food ? It's definitely worth its price. It's better to spend a few euros more and enjoy the ambience, the great staff and the fresh, excellently prepared food than to save at the wrong end. The portions are always more than sufficient and the entire family has never been disappointed in over 30 years. There is only room for improvement in the offer for children. We would spend a lot more time there and leave more money if the kids could spend time in a small playground/play area after dinner. Otherwise everything is really excellent. Unfortunately this time there was mass processing. Just sat down, waiter came and took the order. The food was quicker than in the chip shop and was lukewarm. Unfortunately this made my steak plate like tough rubber. Otherwise I was always satisfied. Well, I'll try again.

We had already eaten there 3 times. The food was ok. What we didn't like was the service. The waiter we had was very unfriendly. We haven't experienced anything like that before. Something so cheeky. We definitely won't be going there anymore. We'd rather go somewhere else to eat where we can get decent service 😡👍

As always, we visited the El Cadoro restaurant on our wedding day and, as every year, we were not disappointed. As always, the food was excellent (but here too it can happen that a cooking point is not met, but a quick hint and it will be served again without any problems - very good service) and the staff are simply attentive, courteous and friendly.

Wir waren Ostersonntag hier,und waren sehr enttäuscht. Hatten einen Tisch reserviert,und mussten wie viele andere 10 Minuten vor der Tür warten,da der Tisch noch nicht eingedeckt war. Die Tischdecke hatte aber Flecken. Alle Essen waren nur lauwarm,waren alle enttäuscht. Die Spaghetti waren viel zu weich,grüne Bohnen zu hart. Es ist uns jetzt schon das drittemal aufgefallen,das an Feiertagen alle überfordert sind. An meinem Geburtstag vor drei Jahren wurde das falsche essen geliefert,dann bekam ich das richtige,und alle anderen waren mit dem essen fertig. Ich bin der Meinung man sollte nicht zuviel annehmen,damit man den Gästen auch gerecht wird.

The food is okay, the ambience, well, we sat right in the draft, the front door was constantly open because people couldn't agree whether to go in or out. 10 people smoke right in front of the door, the smoke of course also moves into the restaurant, which is a bit unpleasant I think we've been invited several times now. The food, apart from the steaks, was canteen food and lukewarm. It's a shame that our waitress has forgotten all manners. Of course, with all the stress you can get lost in the fact that you thank us for the €5 tip and wish you a nice evening. We'll visit there Local only if we are invited otherwise it would unfortunately not be our choice

The food was warm, the steaks were a bit hard and chewy, but overall I would go back as I'm sure that was because they were very busy. However, the service is excellent when they get the order right 🤣 Feb 2024 I came back, awesome food!

We were there on Friday, it was very crowded and therefore loud. The atmosphere had something of a canteen. After a short time the waiter came and took our order, the drinks and food came quite quickly. My wife ordered pork medallions. The waiter probably didn't understand that correctly and she was delivered a pork steak with a different side dish. The waiter apologized and asked my wife to swap the side dishes. Since the meat was the same piece of pork and only the cut was different, she was then forced to eat Staek. I would have expected the guest to be more accommodating. I had a grill plate and unfortunately the fries were soggy. The pork steak was very dry, but the ražnjići were very raw. I would also have liked some ajvar as a side dish with my onions. When the waiter asked if everything was good, I answered OK, which he acknowledged with an incredulous look and without further questions. What was also stupid was that the drinks service wasn't attentive. My first beer was drunk relatively quickly and then there was nothing more. After we had finished eating, someone tried to bring us something to drink after we asked several times. By then I had already finished my coffee and didn't feel like drinking any more beer. A salad was served with my grill plate, which was really great. I went there with the hope of getting to know something new where I might be able to eat out more often in the future. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. It would be great to treat the guest like one and not be treated like they were in a cafeteria. With that in mind, good business.

Ein Chateau Briand für 2....es gab butterzartes Fleisch mit knackigem Gemüse....das war jeden Cent wert. Was ein toller Abend in diesem Lokal. Unbedingt reservieren...dann klappt der Genuss.
