The food was all good (2x Italian schnitzel, Jägerschnitzel + ribeye steak), as were the drinks: lots of caipis, well mixed. Update: Feb.-2025: Food only average, cocktails partly. thin.

It’s a nice bar/restaurant. Normal drinks with normal food.

I was at the Einstein Restaurant at lunchtime today and just wanted to use the toilet and the lady was very friendly and said that you can get it for free with us. Very nice, thank you very much 👍

Cute restaurant, very cozy and packed on a Friday evening. Without a reservation, we managed to get a nice table with the help of a very nice employee. The menu is extensive with simple dishes. However, they are very tasty and served very quickly and friendly despite the full restaurant. The service is impeccably polite and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy.

A very nice restaurant, with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was out of a can. But if you just want to have a drink and sit down in the front, quieter area, it's a great experience.

I've been wanting to write a review for a long time. We vacationed with a friend in 2015. We arrived in Hamburg for 3 days from Kaliningrad. The city, of course, amazed me. Its streets, architecture, local bars. By the way, about them. My friend and I are big fans of Guineas beer, and on that hot June day, upon arrival, we went looking for it. We wandered around without a navigator, just “wherever our eyes looked.” After long hours of exploring the beautiful area, we decided to once again take the help of the locals and came across the Einstein restaurant. I’ll say right away that we haven’t tried the cuisine and I can hardly evaluate the service. We came for advice! And we really needed Guinness. At the entrance we were immediately greeted by an adult Armenian man. Without unnecessary embarrassment, I repeated 3-4 times that “GUINNESS HAS BEEN NOT IN THESE AREAS FOR A LONG LONG TIME. THIS CULTURE DIED HERE A LONG TIME LONG ago.” He said this with a malicious smile, making it so that we would linger in this restaurant and finally land in this restaurant, exhausted from the search. We both did NOT believe him. He was extremely insincere. Moreover, he is Armenian. We went out and SOME miracle turned onto the next street, which was 50-70 meters from the restaurant, and IMMEDIATELY came across the Pheasant bar, incredible in its atmosphere. The time was about 12:30 in the afternoon and we saw an older adult man dragging kegs into the bar. As we approached, we realized that the bar was closed. But, having entered into a pleasant dialogue with the man, we realized that he is the owner of the bar in the 3rd or 4th generation. He said that GUINNESS is here and will always be! HE OPENED THE BAR FOR US and poured us 2 pints, while simultaneously telling us the history of this place. Then he took his leave and politely asked us to leave, because... the bar is closed and will only open at 18:00. We often remember that Armenian. Draw your own conclusions.

Einsteins offers a very diverse selection of dishes. As is so often the case, those who offer a lot of things are not really good at anything. But the food isn't bad, you can at least eat the pizzas and some pasta well. I would advise against the desserts. The apple strudel doesn't taste good, there's a scoop of Langnese vanilla ice cream with the chocolate souffle, I can do that too! The service was very nice, but they didn't manage to serve the food at the same time. Of four orders, only two came together, the others came about 3 minutes apart. The guest room was very loud and there was also a pretty strong smell in the toilet area. You can definitely eat something here for a small price, but you shouldn't expect too much for it.

Highly recommended. They have a few dishes, all of them delicious. Diverse selection of cocktails, also superbly prepared. Quite comfortable inside, you have separate levels depending on what you want there (just eat, eat and drink, just drink), toilets are always clean... Great. 😇

We have had dinner at Restaurant Einstein several times and are very satisfied. The ambience is warm and pleasant, the food is delicious, and the staff is polite and friendly. However, I find the restaurant room a bit dark. For someone like me who wears glasses, it is sometimes difficult to see things or the menu clearly. Overall, however, I am very satisfied and can definitely recommend a visit.

Very nice restaurant. Are here for the second time in 3 days. Pizza, burgers, spaghetti, schnitzel... all recommended. Staff very friendly. Only the toilets are beyond criticism. As if they didn't belong... like in the ghetto...

We ordered pizza bread and were very disappointed. The loaves were small, rock hard and thin like a sheet of paper. The garlic sauce had zero flavor.

The ambience wasn't bad, but unfortunately the selection of vegan dishes is not particularly attractive, both the vegan burger and the vegan pizza are the vegetarian version without the cheese. The burger has a vegetable patty that, on the one hand, falls apart when you eat it and therefore comes out of all sides of the burger at the same time, and on the other hand, it doesn't taste like much. The burger is relatively small overall and so is the portion of (sweet potato) fries, which is a bit cheeky for more than €15 for just the dish. I felt like I could have eaten the portion at least once more and I wasn't particularly hungry. Not recommended for almost €20 with a drink (especially for vegans).

We went there for Christmas dinner but unfortunately it was disappointing. The waitress (tattooed under her arm, thin braid) was very unfriendly, annoyed and aggressive. We were constantly reminded that we had to leave at 10 p.m. - no farewell at the end. The food was okay, but the location is far too narrow so it was difficult to eat in peace. Definitely not recommended for Christmas dinner. Personally, I wouldn't go there again because of the service.

We were warmly welcomed into the restaurant and shown to the square. All in all, the staff was very friendly, quick and accommodating, it got three stars because my Alster was confused with someone else's beer, he had already drunk it, the staff wanted to throw it away, but I said I'd take it anyway, everything was fine . What I didn't think was ok was that they still charged a large amount, so they could have come up with something. Food was tasty, but not a highlight, price performance was right. We can recommend a visit with a clear conscience.

We were there together as a class. With a total of 25 people, it's not that easy to find something to reserve in Hamburg. The food was really great and you have a very large selection, for example, you can choose between 4 types of pasta. The service was also super friendly and not stressed with a group as large as ours. I gave the ambience 4 stars because I think you can still get something out of it in terms of decoration, otherwise the location is really cool and very beautiful. We all felt very comfortable there and can only recommend it for larger groups.

Wow, very varied furnishings. You can also come together in a large group here. When there are a lot of guests it is quite loud. Happy hour is particularly recommended. Cocktails partly so-so.

About 4.5* for us. The food was fine, but it still lacked a bit of perfection. I enjoyed it and it was great. The wife chose a different dish and would give 3 to 4*. So it's more a matter of choice. But overall, a very good restaurant, the staff is very nice and helpful. Average toilets. I recommend the restaurant.

We ordered a hamburger double and bruschetta. The hamburgers Patties were tough, the bruschetta could have stayed in the oven a little longer to make it crispier. Selter natural and Cola Zero 0.4l not from the bottle, taste like MC.

A restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Above all, the service was incredibly quick. She had her eyes everywhere and we had the menu in a few minutes and, after ordering, the starter again after a short time. The pizza was steaming when served. The base was crispy and the ingredients seemed very fresh. I can recommend it without reservation. The price was also within normal limits. All in all, a very nice, relaxing evening. Another advantage was that the sun no longer shone directly there in the evenings. So it was pleasant to eat outside on that summer evening.

Enjoy delicious cocktails during happy hour! 2 evenings in a row too. You can have a cocktail for at least €7.10! They are also not stingy with their alcohol so you really get what you pay for. Super nice service too :)

I was pleasantly surprised. Stopped in to have something to eat “quickly”, it went really quickly. A really very nice waiter took our order and gave friendly information, the food was on the table in a jiffy. We had two non-alcoholic cocktails, schnitzel with fries and a pizza. It was tasty. Anyone who goes there knows that given the prices, you can't expect a culinary trip with the highest quality ingredients, but we were pleasantly surprised. Especially from the bill at the end: 2 people, 2 cocktails and no €36 - yes, everything was accounted for. That was a very nice surprise, as in the past few days during the holiday program I had repeatedly noticed that a visit to a restaurant with two people quickly costs more than €70. Thank you for realizing that there is another way and, above all, that there are still service employees who enjoy their job and ensure that the guests feel comfortable!

Top Essen und Cocktails. Alle Gerichte wurden gelobt, einschließlich des Desserts. Cocktails Happy Hour hat seinen Zweck voll erfüllt. Wir konnten sogar draußen sitzen, aber drinnen ist es ebenso sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet.

There were five of us there and everyone was thrilled! Eat: Drinks were great, especially at happy hour with double the drink. Food was absolutely perfect and delivered to the table pretty quickly. Burgers, fried vegetables and the souffle are highly recommended. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available. Service: Waiters were friendly and quick. Ambience: Perfect for a cozy night out. It's great to sit outside and you have easy access to the park, right across the street. Inside you are very well served with chic furniture and atmospheric lighting.

Nice little restaurant/snack bar with a great outdoor area. Prices were absolutely acceptable for downtown. The food was super tasty, for example homemade pesto etc. I can only recommend it.

I wanted to reserve a table and called. For Sundays. No hello on the phone, nothing. Then just the statement: We are closed on Sundays. I, ahh okay, the lady just irritated again "we're closed on Sundays!" And hangs up straight away. Wow really? Of course you're welcome to come by on other days. It doesn't work at all.

Went there for the first time for a late lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, attentive service and the cocktails (also non-alcoholic) were great. We will definitely go back.

I was there for lunch yesterday with my two children. The service was fine and the children were also given something to paint with, which I found very nice. However, the pizza was very, very crispy, probably more dry than anything else. Not so bad so far. However, after about an hour both children and I complained of terrible stomach pain and diarrhea. According to my exclusion criterion, it must be because of the pizzas…. We used to really enjoy going there, but I would avoid the place now

I was there this afternoon with my children. The service was very friendly and attentive. The children received crayons with the children's menu with which they could color the children's menu. The atmosphere was cozy and you could sit comfortably. My pizza was just right, crispy and freshly topped, and the children also found their food very tasty. The card was priced accordingly. I paid €31 for the three of us with large drinks.

Yummy nachos and mushroom pizza! Whenever I go there, I order nachos immediately. It is a very good place in terms of price/performance. Highly recommend.

We were there on a Friday evening. Ordered cocktails two 4 one. So €13.50 for an alcoholic drink and got the same thing again. Strawberry caipi had strawberry syrup and no pureed strawberries even though it is strawberry season. The drink didn't feel like it had any alcohol in it, we found it very weak. We also found him very angry. We ordered the nachos with cheese as a starter and then pizza. However, everything came together and not one after the other so we had to make a decision. Which of the two do we want to enjoy warm and which can be left to cool down? It would have been nicer if it had been served as it was as a starter, with the nachos and pizza as the main course. The second drink, Coco Strawberry, was sweeter, but here too there was hardly any trace of alcohol. We don't know whether it would be better with the individual drinks because we haven't tried them. We found the noise level to be very high and everything was pretty tight for us. Prices for nachos and pizza were perfectly reasonable.

Quality of the food (I had a pizza) is really bad. But I think the drinks are even more awesome: tap water with lemon is sold as “homemade lemonade” for €5.50. I think that's completely ridiculous

Fantastic English speaking waiter at our table this evening. We had a table for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 2)) and were able to get seated right away. Food was catered for brilliantly as our youngest has allergies. Great work and thanks for a lovely meal.

We dined at this restaurant on a few occasions during a recent city break to Hamburg. We found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. We had a number of different meals from the menu and each of them were excellent. 5 out of 5 for this restaurant.

Eight of us went there recently. We all really liked the atmosphere and the service was friendly too. But none of us really enjoyed the food. My pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. UNFORTUNATELY we cannot recommend it.
