Super delicious food and very friendly service. We stumbled upon this place by accident and we were very happy that we did. I can highly recommend Eclipse. If you go in the evening, it might be worth making a reservation cuz it was pretty busy, but it's totally worth just trying your luck! I promise. :)

Delicious food and a nice, rustic interior. The cold, or rather the lack of heating in the middle of winter, significantly dampened the experience – it was simply very cold and uncomfortable. The food itself was quite good. The chebureki were frozen solid.

Lovely lovely lovely. We had some pita and naan bread with different dips. Several options and all tasted great. The place is beautiful as well!

Worth a visit. The very friendly staff gave us excellent advice and took good care of us. Even without a reservation, a table was available. A good selection of Levantine cuisine. The falafel, tapas, hummus, pita, and delicious skewers are highly recommended. My tip is the house lemonade – with mint, a nice twist!

Eclipse in Munich was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, with a great variety of dishes that are perfect for sharing. Every plate came out beautifully presented, and you can really tell how much care goes into the cooking. The atmosphere was warm and lively without feeling overwhelming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, Eclipse offers amazing food, great service, and a welcoming vibe, easily one of the best dining experiences in Munich.

An Israeli grill with fantastic vegetarian appetizers, followed by a generous mixed grill. Delicious all around. And the service was attentive and skillful, weaving its way through the crowded rows of chairs.

I've eaten at Eclipse many times and have always been very satisfied. Yesterday we held our Christmas party there (15 people), everything was superbly prepared, the food was delicious, and everyone was very happy. The waiters were very attentive and fulfilled our every wish – thank you for a wonderful evening.

I came here to eat authentic Israeli dishes. However, everything was Lebanese/Syrian; I'd already had all of it at other Arab restaurants.

The food was delicious as always, and the service was friendly, but just like our last visit in winter, the restaurant wasn't heated. My husband and I were freezing. We sat by the window, the heating was off, and it was below freezing outside. Two other women were shivering inside, wearing winter jackets. It's a shame they skimp on something so basic, just because customers still come. We couldn't really enjoy the evening. We ended up warming up on the subway later, since that wasn't possible in the restaurant.

There were four of us, and we shared a variety of dishes: falafel, tapas, meat skewers, and salad. Everything was delicious! We also thoroughly enjoyed the Israeli wine! The service was incredibly friendly! We'll definitely be back.

The food was absolutely fenomenal! First time that I felt eating skewers was a gourmé dish. The falafel was delicious and the price performance was way beyond my expectations. The entire group had a wonderful time, definitely recommend stopping by!

Super friendly, attentive staff. Make sure to make a reservation on weekends. The food is authentic and delicious. However, in our opinion, it wasn't anything special. The hummus and tabbouleh, in particular, were extremely salty. The grilled platter was okay. Down-to-earth and very fair in price.

On Sunday at noon, about 15% of the seats were occupied, so reservations weren't necessary. The decor isn't fancy. There's a bar with wine. The lamb chops were okay, with good quality. The fish portion was generous. The price is typical for Munich, not cheap. The service wasn't anything special, but they were patient. However, when paying, if you pay by card, you'll be asked to choose a tip, as low as 10%. Of course, it's not mandatory, as you can choose not to. After I told them not to, the waiter asked, somewhat unhappily, "Are you dissatisfied with our service?" I personally think that was a rather impolite response. Germany isn't the United States, and tipping isn't mainstream. Tipping is fine in high-end restaurants and those with attentive service. In restaurants where you simply take orders and receive food, tipping is optional.

Very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Good advice!!! No pickpocketing – we were asked how hungry we were and were then recommended a "main course sharing" option. We ordered "tapas" with truly delicious hummus (creamy, with a perfect hint of garlic), zhug, beets, eggplant, pickled vegetables, and carrots (including a hint of cinnamon). For the "main course," a chicken skewer, which couldn't be better. The most tender texture. Wonderful smoky and roasted aromas. Perfectly seasoned. As a side dish, we had Israeli couscous (Ptitim, aka "Ben Gurion Rice," a wheat-based dish, toasted beforehand unlike pasta, incredibly delicious, a bit nutty...with mushrooms – a discovery!!!) and Israeli salad. We're already looking forward to our next visit and will also "guide" friends to Eclipse...

I was really craving something different from the usual Bavarian, Italian, or Asian cuisine – and stumbled upon the Eclipse restaurant by chance. What a stroke of luck! Even when I made my reservation, I received an exceptionally friendly welcome – something I've rarely experienced before. This impression continued once I arrived: the service was warm, attentive, and simply exceptional. I felt completely at home from the very first moment. The food was a true highlight: oriental, varied, high-quality, and incredibly delicious. Every course was a delight. An all-around fantastic experience – I can highly recommend the Eclipse and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We had a lovely meal, with falafel and hummus, along with a choice of three vegetarian tapas. The food was good, there was barely any smell from the kitchen, and the bathrooms were clean. It was a good lunch.

Excellent food as always. However, make sure that you’ll need to wait a bit to get your food since it’s always full. The service is excellent and the food always manages to hit the spot. My favourite dish is the Hazil Habait, it’s a must try!

The place is always pleasantly busy and service is nice. The food is isrealian / mid-east and of course the signature dish is about the grilled meat.

There were four of us, and we had a tapas plate as a starter, followed by a different dish each. The quality of the food was excellent, very tasty, and everything was freshly prepared. The dessert was also surprisingly good. The service was very friendly. The typical beer garden chairs outside (on the terrace) were notoriously uncomfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful evening.

Based on a recommendation, I came here for dinner yesterday. I got a table right away, even though it was busy. The good beer came quickly, too. In addition to Bavarian draft beer, they also serve pilsner and lager from Israel. The menu is varied, and after I familiarized myself with it, I received good advice. Everything tasted very good. The portions are generous, but not overly generous. The servers were attentive and quick. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

The food is fantastic. The service is inconsistent. One of the waiters seemed quite stressed and didn't create a comfortable atmosphere. The other, with the curly hair, was super nice. The noise level in the restaurant was almost unbearable. This is partly due to the fact that the tables are fairly close together and the place was very crowded. But it's also because some of the guests are quite inconsiderate, talking and laughing at a volume that borders on shouting. The restaurant can't be blamed for this, and I would still recommend it without reservation. Great location, great place.

Excellent cuisine, no standard, good ingredients and very tasty spice combinations

It's been a while since my last visit... The food is super delicious, a bit too lightly seasoned for me personally, but, as I said, still delicious. Service was always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy, but noisy, and the tables are quite close together. It gets especially crowded in the winter, because everyone (including me) hangs their heavy jackets over the chairs. Would definitely come again.

Six of us were there on a busy evening, and yet the service was fast, friendly, and attentive. As a native Israeli, I can say: the food tastes authentic, the hummus is creamy and flavorful, the falafel crispy and delicious, and the salads are fresh and well-seasoned. My main course, a kebab skewer with Israeli salad, was also very good. The quality is good, the portions are generous, and the prices are absolutely fair. The only minor drawback: the acoustics are a bit loud when the place is full. Nevertheless: Highly recommended!

Great food mit fast serving. Tapas portion are also very big and the pita just amazing, fluffy and direct from the grill on our table. We had Tscheburek, chicken skewer and burger. All with very tasty & well seasoned salad & potatoes. And don't miss the house made mint lemonade.

Der Laden gehörte einer griechischen Freundin und wir haben es auf israelische Küche umgestellt und eröffnet und jetzt muss ich erfahren, dass ich in den Laden reinkomme und von einem Volltrottel-Kellner mich beschimpfen lassen muss, weil ich den Chef kontaktiert habe, um mich über den Service zu beschweren. Er machte mich an der Türe blöd an. Das habe ich nicht nötig. Das Leben ist ein Karussell und es kommt alles wieder zurück. Die Ignoranz vom Chef hat mir den Rest gegeben. PS: Der Ordnung halber - es handelt sich nur um einen Kellner. Die restliche Mannschaft ist freundlich und sympatisch.
