Moro Mou in München

What a strange shop! If you want to eat well and watch Munich's rich and beautiful and would-be rich and beautiful, this is the right place for you. The food is convincing, creative and a pleasure. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and juicy. The dip that was served with the gavros was super tasty. The baby calamari was served with wakame and was the highlight of the evening. The warm beer served in a wine glass was less good and the waiter was a bit annoyed that it was brought up. Overall, you got the impression that you should be very, very grateful for being able to eat here. The service didn't convince me and was a little off. Would I come back? I'm not sure. If I'm in the mood for good cuisine, injected lips and Botox faces, 247 variations of Hermes belts, Temptations Island in Live and unfriendly service, then certainly.

Actually the food was very good. We liked everything especially the lamb. It's only a bit annoying when it turns to a club after 10pm and you have to yell at your table. I'm used to this kinda concept from more than 10 years ago that a fancy restaurant turns to a club in the evening, but you need the right setting and different areas inside to accommodate this concept. Food is good, next time I will go a bit early and leave before I have to yell at people and wait forever to find our waiter. Btw Baklava ice cream wasn't that great.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend gleich um 18 Uhr dort, wurden sehr nett empfangen und sehr gut beraten. Verschiedene griechische Vorspeisen gegessen, gegrillter Octopus war hauchzart, auch Thunfisch Tataki auf Empfehlung toll! Hauptspeise gegrillte Hähnchenspieße ein Gedicht und so saftig, Gemischte Fischplatte war auch gigantisch! Ein perfekter Abend! Danke an das aufmerksame Personal 🙏🏻

Were there for the Christmas party with work. I had forgotten my bag and immediately went back to get it. The waiter then said twice urgently that I had to give him a tip of €10, basically as a “release fee”. After what was spent there, what a disgrace.

Dinner with friends followed by a dance floor and DJ spinning top 40 tracks. If you are looking for a party look no further.

We had brunch on Sunday and the selection was huge and mostly very good. Only the oysters were not opened cleanly and had remnants of shell on the flesh, which made a very unpleasant crunch when eating. Service was ok but it was a bit rare. Very nice atmosphere in the location

A restaurant that offers nice ambience (a kind of upscale beach atmosphere), especially outside in summer (4 stars). The food is upscale: well-intentioned attempts to bring in influences from other cuisines, but unfortunately it doesn't work well and the dishes aren't so finely tuned. Especially because of the slightly higher price for the food: 3 stars. The service is okay, but quite anonymous, so there is definitely room for improvement (3 stars).

Great Restaurant! Will come back 100%. We had the best octopus and the zucchini chips are fantastic.

Cool location, with DJ. Serves are thrown at midnight and afterwards there is a party. The food was delicious. Unfortunately the tuna on our fish platter was bad. And it upset the stomachs of three of us who ate from the same platter. Something like that shouldn't happen, hence 2 stars deducted.

Menu changed, fewer options now, some items that seem less than Greek (extremely expensive steaks) and added „asian“ touch to classic Greek dished such as sea-weed salad and ginger to a grilled Dorade fish with a teriyaki style sauce and heavy mayonnaise style dip. Why? Restaurant was rather empty for a Wednesday night yet everyone was crammed into one corner of the restaurant. Again, why? Food overall was tasty as always but bit disappointed in the direction Moro Mou is trending. Would rather go to Paros going forward.

I had the pleasure of dining at Moro Mou on a Friday evening, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was simply amazing!! We had a variety of dishes, and each one was better than the last! As a Greek, I can vouch for the authenticity and excellence of the flavours and quality. The service was top-notch, and Tonis is such a fun and engaging person, bringing true meraki to everything he does. A delightful surprise was how the atmosphere evolved throughout the evening. The music gradually picked up, creating an authentic Greek vibe that had everyone dancing by the end of the night. Moro Mou is hands down the best Greek restaurant in Germany! Highly recommended!

A restaurant where there is something going on in addition to pure culinary delights, there is something to see. An interesting mix of restaurant and club where styling is also popular. Greek cuisine is richly detailed and tasty. A souvlaki or kotopoulo was delicious. The dessert is imaginative. If you like it more relaxed, choose MI and THURS. The restaurant is buzzing on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservation is then recommended. The service is diligent but also strongly oriented towards sales; people would like to suggest a bottle of wine straight away.

Service sehr durchschnittlich, wenn man nicht wie die High Society angezogen ist, wird man sehr halbherzig bedient, obwohl genug Kellner herumlaufen. Essen kam schnell aber leider lauwarm an, geschmacklich gut, typisch griechisch fettig. Positiv ist die etwas andere Speisekarte keine 0815. Allerdings sind die Preise schon sehr gesalzen auch für München...

Very high quality and beautifully presented food, very stylish shop. Unfortunately the music was a bit loud and the staff could have been a bit brighter, but that's a high level of complaint as everyone is very friendly. The menu is far from a standard Greek restaurant, everyone can find something here and it's not necessarily particularly heavy on the stomach. We'd love to come back.

My girlfriend got diarrhea after eating sea bream. Also a disgusting waiter, around 50-60, who hit on you, harassed you and wanted personal information from me. Looked drunk. Felt very uncomfortable and harassed, impossible behavior, never again.

DieBedienung war sehr kalt, ohne BITT und DANKE. Der Aschenbecher wurde in drei Stunden kein einziges Mal geleert. Bei der Nachbestellung hatten wir das Gefühl dass der Kellner gar keine Lust hat uns zu bedienen. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Schade das man sich nicht willkommen gefühlt hat.

It was a disaster, the service was so bad we had to refill the wine ourselves every time, my wife's glass was smashed when it was served, even though the drink spilled into the plate we had to pay for the dish!!! , but ok, we weren't charged for the over-salted tuna steaks - you can leave it at a bill of 550 euros. The staff was arrogant and rude.

The ingredients for the dishes are very fresh and beautifully seasoned, which makes the dishes particularly tasty and leaves you wanting more. Of particular note are the seafood and fish that we enjoyed - they are highly recommended. The service is attentive and friendly, which makes the visit even more pleasant. The overall package of excellent food, pleasant atmosphere and warm service makes Moro Mou a must for lovers of Greek cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

Nice ambience on the terrace with hip music and a Schwabing audience. The zucchini fritters with pepper yoghurt dip as a starter were homemade and delicious. The ceviche (€22.5), on the other hand, unfortunately had hardly any fish (2-3 forks) and consisted almost entirely of decoration. Neither of us liked the tuna with spinach (€38), so half the portion was returned. The combination with lemon, tartar sauce, ginger and ready-made wakame doesn't taste good. When asked about this, the staff apologized and said sorry. I would go there again for drinks, but unfortunately not for food.

Leider keine Empfehlung. Das Ceviche hatte kaum Fisch und war somit zu teuer. Der Thunfisch mit Blattspinat hat so merkwürdig geschmeckt, dass wir die halbe Portion haben zurückgehen lassen. Personal hat sich dafür entschuldigt, bezahlen musste ich die 39€ natürlich dennoch. Nicht nochmal.

das Essen war gut, allerdings am Samstagabend unerträglich laut - Restaurant überfüllt und zu eng; kein normales Gespräch möglich und am Nebentisch eine große Gruppe, die offenbar überhaupt keine Rücksicht auf andere nahm. Die Geschäftsleitung hat leider nicht reagiert - trotz Beschwerde. Also verließen wir das Lokal, obwohl wir noch nicht fertig gegessen hatten. Auch die zweite Flasche Wein ließen wir mehr oder weniger unangetastet im Kühler zurück. Samstag nur für Partyvolk (ohne Manieren) 🙈

Please leave out the pickled ginger and seaweed salad from the baby calamari or replace them with salad. The flavors don't mix and the result is a mixture of sushi-ginger-sesame oil and calamari. Has nothing to do with Mediterranean cuisine anymore. Otherwise we were very happy with everything from the service to the atmosphere and the rest of the food :)

A great restaurant! We sat outside at a great table to watch the European Championship semi-finals! Reservation with the desire to have a good seat at the screen worked perfectly! We shared several appetizers ahead of time and were impressed with the quality of the food! We also shared the main courses and were impressed by the delicious food there too! We were served by super friendly staff throughout the evening! All in all, we had a great evening! Bright sunshine, a welcoming atmosphere, nice staff, very good atmosphere and great food! We'd love to come back!

Very arrogant and full of himself boss. Sees his average store as a trendy restaurant. Unfortunately, when he said he didn't have a table available, I couldn't believe him because his restaurant was half empty. Maybe the real reason was that I didn't look like I could buy his store. I recommend everyone out there not to support such a mindset.

Food super tasty. Ambiance also good. Unfortunately only 2 stars because of the very poor service. The older waiter with the “I am Legend” T-shirt touched our group of girls inappropriately several times/tried to kiss them on the cheek. When we vehemently pushed his arm away, he snapped at us: “He wouldn't understand anything” if he didn't grope the girl. It also took over an hour before we could order our DRINKS. Several dishes/drinks were forgotten and not always brought even after repeated reminders. Unfortunately, this put the beautiful ambience and delicious food in the background for us.

Reserved way in advance got a table in the corner with no tvs whilst the speaker was blasting the sound from the tv of the euro cup game. Basically couldn’t hold a conversation and whilst the ads were on they didn’t bother to turn down the speakers Service was really bad waiter just brought out the food randomly without cutlery and they didn’t really care to bring the wine multiple times. In the end the waiter enforced a tip on us which we didn’t want to pay because the service was so bad.

The location was formerly known as “Cavos”, is no longer as much of a party cellar as it used to be, but the restaurant is still far from “quiet”. Just right for our celebration, after all, all the guests had a lot to tell each other - that's a great atmosphere! Really delicious food (I could have eaten my fill of just the starters), the service was always friendly, quick and courteous! The terrace is nicely done and at least a little quieter 😉 The audience is generally rather upscale, and so are the prices. Nonetheless, if you want delicious food, great service and a good atmosphere, this is the place for you!

Negative first: the service was substandard and disgraceful. Starters came after/or. to the main courses, some dishes were swapped, some didn't come at all. Wine glasses were simply cleared away. No questions about any drinks/dessert. When we asked if the waiter would take a photo, he initially said he didn't have time for it. We had to say three times that we wouldn't pay for the food we didn't get. For this service we also received an outrageous comment for a tip that was too small. You really shouldn't have tipped at all. Food was delicious, value for money wasn't right.

Das Lokal ist durch und durch auf Profit ausgerichtet, kein typisch grieches Lokal mit Partycharakter, sondern Abzocke. Einmal und nie wieder. Bei der Rechnung wurden wir auch noch betrogen und trotz Diskussion wurde sie nicht korrigiert.

My girlfriend & I went to Moro Mou for dinner & celebration for the first time on Friday evening. What can I say other than - it was awesome! The food was excellent, the DJ played great & Andi our bartender was always very attentive, humorous & made sure that our wine glasses were filled. An all around lovely & successful evening! Ate at Moro Mou 3 times, left the restaurant 3 times with food poisoning!!! There's something wrong with the food quality here from start to finish! This is no longer a coincidence after the first time!!! Service courteous, but totally overwhelmed and chaotic. Tablets and plates fly through the air and over guests every hour. Great atmosphere and DJ! Clientele underground.

Amazing place. Super friendly service, delicious food and great live music. We will definitely come back to this Restaurant. I enjoyed the fries with Parmesan and black truffles, scampi’s with goat cheese and lamb fillet. My wife had the fried sardines and some chicken. All was well prepared and we loved the taste. If you in Munich you should try to book a table here (it’s always full).
