Very tasty food and friendly service by staff and they surprised us with birthday cake at end We will come again.

We discovered this great restaurant by chance while strolling. The food was really tasty and the service was super friendly. When we got the bill we were shocked for a moment because we were expecting less, but it was actually okay.

So the food was good and there was also a good vegan and vegetarian selection! The food also came very quickly and the staff was very nice too!

I recommend chicken Tikka Masala this dish was so delicious. I also tasted Chicken Biryani it was ok but kinda sweet I don't know if it was like that originally or not but ok. And I didn't like that you have to order a drink before the meal it's like even if you don't like to drink something with your meal you have to order a drink. And ignored us many times and he looked like don't have enough information about the meal description.

We discovered the restaurant by chance and spontaneously went to eat there. The food was very tasty and authentic. Prices are typical as usual everywhere in Düsseldorf, rather rough. We had 3 dishes 2 from an extra menu for €12.50 which was good value for money.

Very good food, lemonade too. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we didn't have a reservation, but they managed to seat us at a table without any problems. They spoke English, which is great for us. It was a good experience. The price/quality is very positive. For children, for those who are not used to spicy seasonings, it is not a good option, they can eat rice, which was also great.

The store is nice, although the price/performance ratio isn't always right. Unfortunately, I recently ordered there and never received my food. Unfortunately, there is no customer service in such a case.

Looking for Desi taste, this is the place to be .... Each and every dish live up to the expectations ... Well served by Rashmi! Tried Dal Makhni, Chana Dal and Chicken Karahi on special request ... Must must try...

Particularly basic cuisine. White rice without any spices typical of India. A sauce that is not as good as the one you find in a can in any supermarket. Particularly cold waitress who looks you straight in the eye without saying goodbye when you leave. Amazing. We don't recommend it at all.

"In addition, our meat is halal certified to meet the needs of all our guests." I didn't necessarily expect that from an Indian restaurant. Of course I could have informed myself beforehand. However, I'm seriously wondering what my needs are.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, but there are a few negative points that I would like to explain in more detail later. The cutlery trays look very cheap and rustic, and the tables and chairs are not the real thing either. Regarding the food, I have to admit that the curries there taste quite artificially spiced, which in my opinion didn't taste Indian at all. I have to admit that I know better Indian restaurants. The prices are quite excessive compared to other places and not worth the price for these measly portions. The food came out quickly, but it seemed as if the curry had only been warmed up briefly and served on the plate. All I can say about the staff is that they were pretty unfriendly. There was a young lady in service where I can say that such behavior should not be tolerated in any restaurant, that you speak badly behind your customers' backs. In my opinion that doesn't work at all. Staff should be better trained or not allowed to do the job. That was absolutely not worth the money to me.

Our mistake: our outdoor space on one of the busiest corners in D-dorf. Hordes of passers-by watching you eat, screeching trams, traffic noise... Ambiance: Tin chairs and tables Service: impersonal Service, menu in the form of paper placemats simply slammed onto the table. Tin can with cutlery, drinks served within 2 minutes. Our choice was asked every 2 minutes, starters and main courses were served at the same time. Due to the speed and appearance, you can largely assume convenience products (e.g. grilled (?) dumplings). While one person at the table was still busy eating, everything was already being cleared away from me. It was more like a fast food restaurant than a restaurant.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch yesterday. Since there are a lot of Indians in the area, we chose Eatdoori because of the ambience. A lady served us. She was also the only lady at the time. We like Indian food and can enjoy the spice. We found the food to be a bit too European. But it was delicious. BUT THE SERVICE The waitress gave us the impression that she didn't feel like working. It's a shame, we would have liked to have desserts etc. but because we had such an impression, we didn't even want to ask for advice anymore. Unfortunately there won't be a next time.

Nice ambience with modernised Indian menu. The recipes are delicious and mildly spiced with good touch of Indo European traces.

Tandoori chicken is just over-cooked, pan seared chicken, which, although well spiced, had a the burnt spices smell and taste and made the dish bitter. Butter chicken is just overly sweet with watery/ barely any taste to it. Overall would be mediocre at best, but the prices do not justify the quality.

Ik heb veel Indiaas gegeten en gekookt. Dit kan beter, weinig aandacht aan het eten besteed. Geen papadam oud vooraf. Minder vriendelijke bediening, deze jongen had een enorme hoeveelheid parfum op wat mi echt nodig et kan.

Didn't have a "wow" effect. It wasn't anything special for me. Would definitely not come a second time given the prices. The operation comes across as really lackluster, as can be read in other reviews. A pity. Maybe Indian cuisine just isn't for me.

The whole staff was so rude (the two waitress and the waiter), I’m not surprised to read so many other reviews commenting on this. The restaurant was mostly empty, and they spent half of their time chatting so no excuse on being stressed. We considered leaving when the waitress sighed « my god ». Very unprofessional. Food is ok. Would not recommend.

Enjoyed Delicious Indian veg food

Nice friendly restaurant with seating outside and a smart looking restaurant inside. The staff are friendly and welcoming so they deserve to be busy. The food was delicious certainly the mains fill you up. All things positive so a big thumbs up from my family.👍

Male service staff initially ignored us. After a while he arrived to take the drinks order in a rather unfriendly manner and after remarking "we would order the food at the same time" he simply left without a word. I haven't been served this badly in a long time, or rather not served at all 🤣 I would like to say something about the food but since we didn't get that far it remains unrated.

Service worker male ignored and skillfully. We waited 35 minutes to take the order. I didn't feel like ordering here anymore. By the way, the drinks didn't come either. Never again !

The food was strange, mine was good but my friends' was sour and salty. When we asked the waitress about it, she just said that we were exaggerating, like huh?? She didn't eat it Ne k@ck cheeky

Unfortunately the food was oversalted, not only for me but also for my friends and the lady who served us was incredibly unfriendly and really stressed us out with the food and reminded us several times that we had to eat faster.

Absolutely dissatisfied, the waitress wanted to take my change as a tip (I was there with friends and we gave enough). She took the money and wished us a nice evening. I waited a moment because I thought I would get my change, but she started to leave and then I pointed it out to her and she blatantly lied to my face and said that she was aware of it and I would get my money . I would have tipped again, but not for such an action. The food was okay but I had several bones in my butter chicken.

I absolutely cannot recommend this store. The service is very impatient and rude. You want to look at the menu in peace, but then you are asked without a pause what you would like. Starters are served with the main course and not separately. The dishes are served piping hot. The portions are a disgrace for the price. Price performance is bad at best. The toilets are disgusting and broken. Everything is wet and there was only toilet paper in the men's cabin. As a woman you have to go into a cabin that you can't lock. The service doesn't really speak German well and is, above all, rude. No thanks, no please. Last but not least, when paying, you were expected to have the right amount of money. There was no change. Luckily we were able to pay with the card.

All the other other food items were pretty good. Samosa chat, momos were too spicy for kids to enjoy, I had prawns, they were semi cooked which I didn't enjoy

Great butter chicken and dal makhani. They also have good fusion dishes such as chana masala humus, vodka Shikanjvi, etc. Staff was friendly. Service was relatively quick.

Price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The total price was too high at €95. My Butter Chicken contained around three pieces of chicken with a total of around 80g of meat. An adult can't get enough of this. Chickpea salad is a pile of green lettuce with a layer of chickpeas and marinade sauce, nothing more. This time the visit was disappointing.

The resturant offers delicious Indian food, the chicken masala with rice was very tasty and spicy. We specially ordered the naan. The masala chai latte was ok. Here you get a time slot for eating, which means you have a short period of time to enjoy your food. The restaurant is on the ground floor and the toilets were clean.

Simply unbelievably good! Very good selection of different dishes, incredibly tasty paired with very good service! Absolutely recommended! Little tip: BUTTER CHICKEN!!!! Cheap lunch!

The food was inedible and the portions were far too small. We went there with friends and it was a waste of money. In addition, the toilets were extremely unkempt and dirty, which is unacceptable for customers.

Apart from today, I've always been relatively satisfied when I've been to Eat Doori. Every now and then the waiters weren't the friendliest, but today everything was topped. Although we made a reservation and there were some “nicer” seats available, we were moved from the window seat to the aisle, despite asking for another seat. After less than 1 minute the waitress came and wanted to take our drinks and food. We asked her to come back straight away because we needed a little time to think about it, but she just rolled her eyes. When ordering a short time later she wasn't the friendliest either. We once ordered the Chana Masala (chickpea curry). When the food arrived we realized !our own mistake! that we forgot to order it without cilantro. After we asked to take it back due to intolerance and apologized on our part, the waiter simply said it wasn't true that there was coriander in it and the kitchen confirmed this. (He came back because there was probably coriander in it and took the order back.) After a long wait he came with the “newly prepared” chana masala, which unfortunately still had coriander in it. Unfortunately very rude. The friendliness of today's visit left a lot to be desired... In the end the bill was just thrown on the table and after paying we left without a comment.

Unfortunately not recommended in my opinion! Not outstanding in terms of taste and standard. The service was overwhelmed and the prices were almost too high. A photo wasn't worth it to me.

Enthusiastic. We discovered the shop by chance while strolling through town. Since we love Indian food, we went in. The store itself is beautifully and interestingly decorated. We ordered 4 different dishes because we can still try each other :) Wow...meat, sauce...had the taste in my mouth for 3 days :) We recommend! Top! Preukuzno 😃

During my last visit I had the impression that the waitress didn't feel like working and didn't want to serve small children either. It's a shame, because we love coming here to eat But there is a lack of dishes that are not spicy

Incredible Indian Food. That's all I need to say. Our only issue was that we ordered way more than we were able to eat. The food is fresh, tasty, delicious, spicy and filling. Oh, and incredible value. Order less than you think you need. You can always order something else, though I doubt you'll need to.

Close to Düsseldorf hbf, near 707 stop. Nice ambiance and adequate space. Staffs are friendly and nice. Menu has little variety. Food taste is average. They served old rice, which was really annoying to me.

It’s a great place and all best wishes for these guys :) the food is really delicious, service is quick, staff is amazing and very friendly. It’s great to seat both inside and outside. Portions are big, so no chance to stay hungry! Only 2 disadvantages - AC is too cold in summer time. But it’s always possible to seat outside. And chairs outside are made of metal and it’s cold to seat on them. I have to use my jacket to put it on a seat.

Personally, it was my first time eating Indian food so I can't compare it to other restaurants, but I think there is something for everyone here. The butter chicken and garlic naan were particularly good and perfectly seasoned and the portions were also generous. Together with the beautiful interior design, this restaurant is really recommended.

Well, it's a cute restaurant with great service, but the food really doesn't taste authentic and I'm half Indian. That being said, I didn't find it very well prepared either. Prices are definitely high.

An employee of this restaurant was rude, no good manners, so overconfident and no idea how to even speak. It was an Indian woman who was are very rude. The food is very expensive than other Indian restaurants while the taste is below average. I wont recommend it.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted across the shop by the waitress who loudly barked at us several times that we were only allowed to sit in a certain area. The store was almost empty, but apparently the cozy part was reserved. 30 minutes later the waitress's shift was over and with the new waiter it was surprisingly no longer a problem for guests arriving later to sit there without a reservation. It's a shame, because the food was delicious

Suitable for quick food insertion. The main course was in front of me after 14 minutes when the restaurant was full and there was a certain amount of unrest. 25 tables and three dedicated waiters. The homemade chicken I had was of good quality and tasted more like goulash than a curry to me. The Nan bread is not baked but only warmed up and had a rubbery consistency and tasted doughy or not at all. The mango lassi was good.

We found this place by chance and were immediately greeted by a very nice girl who made us sit down. My partner chose from the menu while I opted for one of the two suggested lunch alternatives (€12.90). The naan bread is delicious and flavorful, my butter chicken delicious, as are the other things that arrived together. We left completely full and satisfied.

A nice Indian restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the food was really tasty. There was a large selection of vegan dishes. I can highly recommend the vegan naanwich and the chili mushrooms.

We were just passing through and discovered eatDOORI by chance. One step into the restaurant you were greeted warmly and had a free choice of seats. We ordered on the recommendation of the nice and extremely courteous waitress and our expectations were more than exceeded. Fresh food that came to the table quickly. The taste is a 10/10 and you don't get a queasy feeling in your stomach afterwards, which is often the case at other Indian restaurants. All in all, highly recommended, whether for a quick meal or socializing with friends and family. We will be back!

It was very tasty but in my opinion too expensive, €14.5 for a small burger and a few fries is too much. The burger was great, the fries weren't that great. Starter platter for €26 is also delicious but I think a price of max €12 would be appropriate.

Finding a table for two in Düsseldorf's restaurants on a Saturday evening is like winning the lottery with an additional number! It worked here. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. However, it was very loud. That's why there's a point deduction for the ambience

Insanely delicious! The rice alone has a great taste. Everything was very well seasoned and nothing was overdone. We recommend. We ate there and also ordered food home via a delivery service. Even when delivered, everything is still hot and just as tasty. We recommend.

Really tasty and very good value for money. I had the dish Aloo Baingan with basmati rice and a vegan mango lassi. It's not too spicy, you can taste all the spices well. A generous portion. Definitely worth a visit, I'd love to come back! Visited for the second time, the dish “Aloo Gobi” is also very tasty.

We ordered two different chicken curries. They both tasted the same and also food was without salt. The chai (tea) was also not good. It was without milk and also was not cooked properly. We ordered Momos (were okay) Prawns (okay) Chicken curries (not recommended) Tea (was bad)

I had lots of expectations looking at the name of the restaurant and the ambiance. But yes i was not satisfied with the taste. Samosa chaat was ok, mix veg and kadhai paneer both were sweeter variant. I ordered naanwich which is supposed to be a sandwich made of naan, it turned out to be a naan in a plate with kadhai paneer put on top of it. It was surely uncomfortable to eat and disappointing. I did like the options in menu but considering the experience, not sure if i can trust the item and taste. Hence, not in my recommendation list.

There was nothing wrong with the service. But the food came too quickly and then you knew it wasn't freshly prepared but had been simmering for hours. It was edible so far but I'm used to other Indian foods. I burped for several hours and my companion said both sauces tasted lemony. Ambient was okay so far.

I had booked a table for 5 for dinner and we enjoyed a lovely evening. The service was always very friendly and quick. I opted for the lamb biriyani and paneer and onion naand. Well balanced spices and a very authentic taste. I loved it. We did also share some mixed started which were all very nice. Highly recommendable.

We were there yesterday and didn't think the price-performance ratio was fair. The rice dish cost €17.50! Yes, it was tasty but not worth €17. And the burger was so dry and inedible that my hungry friend left half of it. That was the first and last visit there. We're still annoyed.

Unfortunately not recommended in my opinion. It was extremely drafty there, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The food was very simple and tasteless and the nuts were even missing from the food. There was also more rice than any other food.

It was the first time I ate Indian food and I immediately fell in love with the cuisine. I ate chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and it was just awesome. The atmosphere was really great, the service was really nice and my friends and I had a lot of fun. We had to wait a little longer for a table and for our food after ordering, but it was full to the brim at the time. However, the wait was totally worth it. I can only recommend! ^^

It’s not a real indian food at all, you can called anything but it’s not an Indian restaurant, the good testy is awful, very expensive corresponding to offered food. The restaurant is not cozy in regards to the tables and chairs, it’s kind of a fast food kiosk pretend is an Indian restaurant which far away from Indian culture and Indian cuisine Not recommend at all

The food tasted very good, large portions (we were able to take the rest with us without any problems), fast service. The vegan mango lassi was particularly delicious. We'd love to come back!

Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Die Portionen sind für die Preise etwas klein. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in der Gegend mit ähnlicher Qualität verlangen sie 2-3 € mehr pro Gericht und servieren gleichzeitig weniger Mengen. Obwohl das Personal größtenteils aus Indern besteht, ist der Service immer noch sehr deutsch, was bedeutet, dass Sie damit rechnen müssen, dass Sie während des Großteils des Abendessens ignoriert werden. Zum Kontext für Touristen: Die einzigen Deutschen, die keinen Blickkontakt mit Ihnen aufnehmen, sind Kellner.

Waren am Samstag da. Nachdem wir nicht innerhalb von 2 Minuten bestellt hatten- wir mussten uns erst durch die Speisekarte lesen- wurden wir 15 Minuten ignoriert. Ok, verstanden. Danach gab es relativ zeitnah das Essen. Es war so laff und ungewürzt, so unansprechend ( große Menge Reis und in einem Alunapf separiertes Curry) und schmeckte so fad. Noch nie habe ich ein so langweiliges Essen beim Inder gehabt. Nebenan am Tisch ließ die Dame das Essen zurück gehen, weil es zu scharf war. Schade. Preis Leistung in keinem Fall gerechtfertigt! Auch für ein Getränk fast 5€ fand ich für die Summe an Eiswürfel und Sprudel auch drüber. Ambiente mit Kupferrohren und Abluftrohren, kann jeder selber überlegen, ob er es mag. Gehe gerne essen, aber nicht mehr hier.

Leckeres indisches Restaurant mit der gewissen schärfe. Gerade so das man es gerade noch gut essen kann...wahrscheinlich im Verhältnis zum original eher schwach gewürzt. Mittagstisch kam ruckzuck Frisch und gesund wäre mein Urteil in 2 Worten. Gerne wieder auch wegen dem schönen Ambiente

Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Abend! Due Speisekarte wie geschaffen für Vegetarier! Die Gemüsebällchen als Vorspeise sooo lecker! Und die Curries ein Traum. Preise absolut okay - die Kellner supernett. Danke schön!!!
