would give one star because we had high hopes when ordering paneer and were then disappointed by pre-cooked/ready made food. It was no longer edible.Even the waiter did not argue with us after we complained

The food was very bad. The service was quick. It's a shame the food was too expensive because the quality of the food wasn't good. The meat was actually just fat. I've been to the branch in Frankfurt and the food was better there. I really like Indian food and for the fact that you pay the same price for a good Indian restaurant, I found the food here subpar. Absolutely no recommendation. Too bad about the money

The restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and excellent food. The Indian street food dishes and desserts are particularly enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive, we felt completely at home. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back!

It was our first time eating there 🥣 and we found the selection very good. The ambience is great and the service is super friendly. Unfortunately, I can't eat spicy food and would have appreciated it being noted on the menu. For this reason I deducted a star. ✨

Wir lieben die indische Küche und besuchen öfter eatDOORI in Frankfurt. Die Atmosphäre, aber vor allem das Essen überzeugt immer wieder. Kürzlich verschlug es uns nach Düsseldorf und auch hier wurden wir nicht enttäuscht, das Essen war besonders schmackhaft, die Atmosphäre sehr ansprechend und auch das Personal, wie gewohnt aus den Locations in Frankfurt, sehr zuvorkommend.

Da ich geschäftlich viel unterwegs bin, kannte ich bereits die EatDoori-Restaurants in Frankfurt und Köln und erwartete mir bei meinem Erstbesuch der Dependence in Düsseldorf genauso leckeres Essen gepaart mit sehr freundlichem Service wie ich es aus den anderen Häusern kenne und wertschätze. Auch in Düsseldorf wurde ich nicht enttäuscht, denn die Speisen wurden auch hier, obwohl es recht voll war, zeitnah, heiß und vor allem lecker gewürzt serviert. Ich trinke hierzu gerne immer MangoLassi, welches einen top Ausgleich zu den teilweise scharfen Zutaten in den Gerichten bildet. Es gibt bestimmt gemütlichere (plüschigere) Restaurants aber das Konzept von „Indian Street Kitchen“ wird hier sehr gut umgesetzt. Ich mag das und freue mich, dass auch mein EatDoori-Besuch in Düsseldorf mich nicht enttäuscht hat! Hier ist man gerne Gast! Vielen Dank dafür!

Since I travel a lot on business, I already knew the EatDoori restaurants in Frankfurt and Cologne and, on my first visit to the branch in Düsseldorf, I was expecting just as delicious food paired with very friendly service as I know and appreciate from the other restaurants. I wasn't disappointed in Düsseldorf either, because even though it was quite full, the food was served promptly, hot and, above all, deliciously seasoned. I always like to drink MangoLassi with this, which is a great balance to the sometimes spicy ingredients in the dishes. There are certainly cozier (plush) restaurants but the concept of “Indian Street Kitchen” is implemented very well here. I like that and am happy that my visit to EatDoori in Düsseldorf didn't disappoint! It's a pleasure to be a guest here! Thank you for that!

I already know that from Frankfurt am Main. Here too I was very satisfied. The staff was polite, the food was delicious & fresh, the restaurant was clean and nice and not forgetting the price, you get something for your money. Always my pleasure. Thank you very much and kind regards

Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty at all. We were very disappointed as it was far from typical, tasteful Indian cuisine. The service, however, was good, the staff was attentive and friendly. Nevertheless, I cannot recommend the restaurant because of the food.

First of all, I'm very reluctant to give just one star. Unfortunately, in this case there is no other way. Ambience - is very simple. The delivery drivers pack their bags between the counter and the guests. Menu on paper placemat. Reminds me of a simple fast food restaurant. Cutlery in empty tin can on table. There should also be plenty of empty cans at eat DOORI. Food - all frozen and simple convenience products. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is homemade or even freshly prepared. This is also the only way to have the main course on the table in just 13 minutes and the starter in less than 5 minutes. Starter samosas for €8. Very simple, machine-produced frozen product. Served over heavily tarnished convenience salad from the bag. Identical to the samosas you get in the UK for £1.5 at Sainsbury's. Warm on the outside, piping hot on the inside and served fresh from the microwave. 8 € is a bad joke for that. Underground. Main course Lamb Bhuna for €20, the most expensive dish on the menu. Ready surprisingly quickly, after only 13 minutes at the table. At least no time was wasted on “setting up”. Rice was slapped onto the plate, a “bowl” with the TK Lamp Bhuna that had just been thawed in the microwave was put on it, spotty, old parsley on top and the most expensive dish on the menu was quickly served to the guest. Even the rice was suspiciously uniform and reminded of the good old cooking bag from the discount store. But the real hit was the Lamb Bhuna. It had a very distinct plastic taste. Anyone who works in the kitchen knows that this taste is created when you heat convenience cooking bags that are designed for sous vide in the microwave. Even the most expensive dish on the menu is a frozen convenience product and is incorrectly prepared to boot. Also naan bread. finished product. My companion didn't even eat a third of her Achari Subz for €15.5. At least the effort was made to add two zucchini pieces and carrot slices to the dish. Otherwise it would have been a poorly seasoned eggplant mash. Price and performance are light years apart here! Technically and qualitatively, the food is simply inadequate and in no way worth the relatively high price! Service - unfortunately like the food. Insufficient. Not friendly. Not accommodating. Urgent for that. Everything has to happen pretty quickly. Fast food style. Toilets - unclean. Conclusion: Avoid eatDOORI! Price-performance doesn't match at all! Dishes are always finished products and prepared poorly and completely carelessly. It's not worth the money and there are a lot of very good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

I don't find the food that tasty or authentic. All the dishes had a lackluster taste and nothing special. Naan absolute standard, rice overcooked, service mediocre. All in all just average.

We recently dined at this restaurant and have to say the food was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the evening was severely disrupted by another guest. He misbehaved extremely, harassed other guests, burped loudly, hit the table with a glass, shouted loudly and spoke to guests at random. His behavior was really unpleasant and suggested he was on drugs. The worst thing, however, was that the employees hardly did anything. Only later did a waitress ask him to pay, saying the restaurant was fully booked. The other two waiters didn't react at all and simply accepted that the remaining guests were massively disturbed. It begs the question of why you would let a person like that sit there in the first place, especially when he's ruining the atmosphere for everyone else. It's a shame because the food deserved a better impression.

Very good Indian cuisine! But very very very slow service…. Don't go there expecting to be served quickly.

Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience. The food is not really seasoned enough and the palk panier is almost baby food. Very star ground spinach with no crossing as it should be which made it a sticky mess. I only ate 1 bite of it. They thought it was normal themselves. Too bad

Worst food I got in Indian restaurant. Food taste not at all like Indian style no spicy at all and never ever again here.

Delicious food, we were just in time to get a seat. The naan bread was just baked properly, the side dishes were ready quickly and the tandoori chicken couldn't have been better :)

I've eaten here three times now. This time I had Alo Gobi. Unfortunately with little sauce. Therefore the dish was relatively dry. Especially if you eat naan bread and rice with it. The mango lassi was okay but not more than 3.5 stars. Furthermore, I didn't like the taste this time. The spices could be tasted straight away, as if the powder had been sprinkled over it again at the end. There are definitely better Indian restaurants in the area. Location and ambience. But it's okay. The service is okay too.

We dined at a lovely Indian restaurant that had a great ambiance and reasonable prices what stood out the most was a remarkable staff member from arabia who was cheerful and welcoming, greeting everyone with a warm smile. Thanks to his outstanding hospitality our experience was truly perfect and unforgettable.

Chicken Tikka Masala was really bad, very oily and in my opinion the meat didn't come from the tandoor.

Ordered first time here chicken tika masala via Wolt, had terrible digestion issues.. I am not sure if my spiciness tolerance was too low or the ingredients had issue. Taste was ok though. Anyways never using Wolt again, and I really hope I was just unlucky, as other reviews seem ok.

Were pleasantly surprised. First impression like a fast food restaurant. But service and food 100% hit. Very tasty and the food was typical Indian cuisine, so everything was great. Having a reservation is recommended. Easy to reach. Everything is clean and the prices are ok for Cologne.

A below average Indian restaurant in the heart of Düsseldorf The food was OK, but nothing special. Every small Indian delivery service tastes similar and is significantly cheaper. We paid around €70 for two people, but I expect a lot more! The service was non-existent. Unfriendly, empty plates were not cleared away and when you don't show your tip when paying for this subterranean service, the "service" immediately becomes rude. Once and never again!

Changing my rating from 5 stars to 1. I used to be a regular here and often spent a good amount on each visit. However, a rule about my own water bottle was enforced in a way that felt dismissive rather than courteous. I understand the policy, but a bit more courtesy would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my mind about returning.

A super modern Indian street food restaurant. From the moment I entered the ambience, to the service, to the fantastically interpreted Indian food, I was completely taken with it. I can only recommend it and compliment the staff.

ATTENTION - just a note: the opening times listed on Google are not correct. Super disappointing if you've made the extra journey. It's wrong to be open until 11 p.m. on Fridays; shortly after 10 p.m., people are already sitting at the table counting the change. Unfortunately no explanation, apology or anything like that either.

Without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in the city if you are looking for authentic North Indian Punjabi cuisine. Been there for dinner a few times. Inside there is a different and lively atmosphere and the service is really good. You must try Chicken Tikka Tadka👌🏻

Really delicious! The selection of veggie dishes is huge. I've tried a lot there and so far it's always been tasty. The staff is also happy to give recommendations if you are unsure about your choice. I can also highly recommend the drinks, desserts and starters. They also have more unusual things that are available in few other restaurants. You can try it out there. I also really like the look of the restaurant. However, the price is slightly higher. I felt that many restaurants have raised their prices in Düsseldorf. Therefore they are still at the “normal” level. Most main courses cost around 16-18 euros. That's okay.

We discovered this great restaurant by chance while strolling. The food was really tasty and the service was super friendly. When we got the bill we were shocked for a moment because we were expecting less, but it was actually okay.

So the food was good and there was also a good vegan and vegetarian selection! The food also came very quickly and the staff was very nice too!

I recommend chicken Tikka Masala this dish was so delicious. I also tasted Chicken Biryani it was ok but kinda sweet I don't know if it was like that originally or not but ok. And I didn't like that you have to order a drink before the meal it's like even if you don't like to drink something with your meal you have to order a drink. And ignored us many times and he looked like don't have enough information about the meal description.

We discovered the restaurant by chance and spontaneously went to eat there. The food was very tasty and authentic. Prices are typical as usual everywhere in Düsseldorf, rather rough. We had 3 dishes 2 from an extra menu for €12.50 which was good value for money.

Very good food, lemonade too. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we didn't have a reservation, but they managed to seat us at a table without any problems. They spoke English, which is great for us. It was a good experience. The price/quality is very positive. For children, for those who are not used to spicy seasonings, it is not a good option, they can eat rice, which was also great.

The store is nice, although the price/performance ratio isn't always right. Unfortunately, I recently ordered there and never received my food. Unfortunately, there is no customer service in such a case.

Particularly basic cuisine. White rice without any spices typical of India. A sauce that is not as good as the one you find in a can in any supermarket. Particularly cold waitress who looks you straight in the eye without saying goodbye when you leave. Amazing. We don't recommend it at all.

"In addition, our meat is halal certified to meet the needs of all our guests." I didn't necessarily expect that from an Indian restaurant. Of course I could have informed myself beforehand. However, I'm seriously wondering what my needs are.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, but there are a few negative points that I would like to explain in more detail later. The cutlery trays look very cheap and rustic, and the tables and chairs are not the real thing either. Regarding the food, I have to admit that the curries there taste quite artificially spiced, which in my opinion didn't taste Indian at all. I have to admit that I know better Indian restaurants. The prices are quite excessive compared to other places and not worth the price for these measly portions. The food came out quickly, but it seemed as if the curry had only been warmed up briefly and served on the plate. All I can say about the staff is that they were pretty unfriendly. There was a young lady in service where I can say that such behavior should not be tolerated in any restaurant, that you speak badly behind your customers' backs. In my opinion that doesn't work at all. Staff should be better trained or not allowed to do the job. That was absolutely not worth the money to me.

Our mistake: our outdoor space on one of the busiest corners in D-dorf. Hordes of passers-by watching you eat, screeching trams, traffic noise... Ambiance: Tin chairs and tables Service: impersonal Service, menu in the form of paper placemats simply slammed onto the table. Tin can with cutlery, drinks served within 2 minutes. Our choice was asked every 2 minutes, starters and main courses were served at the same time. Due to the speed and appearance, you can largely assume convenience products (e.g. grilled (?) dumplings). While one person at the table was still busy eating, everything was already being cleared away from me. It was more like a fast food restaurant than a restaurant.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch yesterday. Since there are a lot of Indians in the area, we chose Eatdoori because of the ambience. A lady served us. She was also the only lady at the time. We like Indian food and can enjoy the spice. We found the food to be a bit too European. But it was delicious. BUT THE SERVICE The waitress gave us the impression that she didn't feel like working. It's a shame, we would have liked to have desserts etc. but because we had such an impression, we didn't even want to ask for advice anymore. Unfortunately there won't be a next time.

Nice ambience with modernised Indian menu. The recipes are delicious and mildly spiced with good touch of Indo European traces.

Tandoori chicken is just over-cooked, pan seared chicken, which, although well spiced, had a the burnt spices smell and taste and made the dish bitter. Butter chicken is just overly sweet with watery/ barely any taste to it. Overall would be mediocre at best, but the prices do not justify the quality.

Ik heb veel Indiaas gegeten en gekookt. Dit kan beter, weinig aandacht aan het eten besteed. Geen papadam oud vooraf. Minder vriendelijke bediening, deze jongen had een enorme hoeveelheid parfum op wat mi echt nodig et kan.

The whole staff was so rude (the two waitress and the waiter), I’m not surprised to read so many other reviews commenting on this. The restaurant was mostly empty, and they spent half of their time chatting so no excuse on being stressed. We considered leaving when the waitress sighed « my god ». Very unprofessional. Food is ok. Male service staff initially ignored us. I would have tipped again, but not for such an action. The food was okay but I had several bones in my butter chicken.

Unfortunately the food was oversalted, not only for me but also for my friends and the lady who served us was incredibly unfriendly and really stressed us out with the food and reminded us several times that we had to eat faster.

I absolutely cannot recommend this store. The service is very impatient and rude. You want to look at the menu in peace, but then you are asked without a pause what you would like. Starters are served with the main course and not separately. The dishes are served piping hot. The portions are a disgrace for the price. Price performance is bad at best. The toilets are disgusting and broken. Everything is wet and there was only toilet paper in the men's cabin. As a woman you have to go into a cabin that you can't lock. The service doesn't really speak German well and is, above all, rude. No thanks, no please. Last but not least, when paying, you were expected to have the right amount of money. There was no change. Luckily we were able to pay with the card.

All the other other food items were pretty good. Samosa chat, momos were too spicy for kids to enjoy, I had prawns, they were semi cooked which I didn't enjoy

Great butter chicken and dal makhani. They also have good fusion dishes such as chana masala humus, vodka Shikanjvi, etc. Staff was friendly. Service was relatively quick.

Price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The total price was too high at €95. My Butter Chicken contained around three pieces of chicken with a total of around 80g of meat. An adult can't get enough of this. Chickpea salad is a pile of green lettuce with a layer of chickpeas and marinade sauce, nothing more. This time the visit was disappointing.

The resturant offers delicious Indian food, the chicken masala with rice was very tasty and spicy. We specially ordered the naan. The masala chai latte was ok. Here you get a time slot for eating, which means you have a short period of time to enjoy your food. The restaurant is on the ground floor and the toilets were clean.

Apart from today, I've always been relatively satisfied when I've been to Eat Doori. Every now and then the waiters weren't the friendliest, but today everything was topped. Although we made a reservation and there were some “nicer” seats available, we were moved from the window seat to the aisle, despite asking for another seat. After less than 1 minute the waitress came and wanted to take our drinks and food. We asked her to come back straight away because we needed a little time to think about it, but she just rolled her eyes. When ordering a short time later she wasn't the friendliest either. We once ordered the Chana Masala (chickpea curry). When the food arrived we realized !our own mistake! that we forgot to order it without cilantro. After we asked to take it back due to intolerance and apologized on our part, the waiter simply said it wasn't true that there was coriander in it and the kitchen confirmed this. (He came back because there was probably coriander in it and took the order back.) After a long wait he came with the “newly prepared” chana masala, which unfortunately still had coriander in it. Unfortunately very rude. The friendliness of today's visit left a lot to be desired... In the end the bill was just thrown on the table and after paying we left without a comment.

Enthusiastic. We discovered the shop by chance while strolling through town. Since we love Indian food, we went in. The store itself is beautifully and interestingly decorated. We ordered 4 different dishes because we can still try each other :) Wow...meat, sauce...had the taste in my mouth for 3 days :) We recommend! Top! Preukuzno 😃
