We love this - it is a must everytime we are stopping in Hamburg and we are looking forward to it. Tastes great and is easy to bring along.

Wir haben das Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Das Pakora ist sehr lecker und such die Gerichte. Der Verkäufer war sehr nett. Daher jetzt auch eine gute Bewertung!

Wir sind durch den Schlemmerblock darauf aufmerksam geworden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Gute Auswahl, frische Produkte und Blick auf die saubere Küche. Wir haben unser Essen mit nach Hause genommen und dort genossen. Sehr lecker und riesige Portionen. Eine top Alternative zu den anderen Fastfood Anbietern in der Wandelhalle.

Super leckeres Essen, schnell und preisgünstig, dadurch, dass es in einer Ecke ist, ist es relativ ruhig. Man kann auch, wenn man die Zeit hat, gut sitzen und essen

Als Wiederholungstäter hier im Rahmen einer Bahnreise eingekehrt und wie immer sehr zufrieden wieder weitergereist. Curries wie gewohnt lecker, Mangolassi sowieso. Sitzgelegenheiten etwas beengt, aber ok, ist zweitrangig, auf's Essen kommt es an. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

On recent travels I passed by Hamburg Central Station and discovered Manju. Indian food in Germany is often bland and has quantity versus quality malus. Manju is different: fresh, authentic and nice people. Tikka and other classic dishes can be ordered on the counter and the kitchen will prepare on the go. Recommended

Its a good spot to have some Indian food plate within less than 12 euro at central station. food is less spicy and good at taste. Its not outstanding but fair in this price, you can get any verg/non-veg curry with rice, papad, salad and small yogurt

Located in Hamburg railway station. mainly Indian foods are available. quality and testy is average and prices are reasonable. services are reasonable and ambience is average. place looks like congested

Have been here few times and have tried the Vegetarian options here like Daal, Palak Paneer, Chana masala (menu has the German names) and liked only the Chana masala enough to be had again. We eat here only when we are at the station, want quick Indian food and don't want to walk even few 100 meters. So, its a decent option in that respect, though I would not rate the food as excellent (at least Vegetarian options), its kind of OK!

Ich habe hier schon öfters gegessen und auch auch oft schon Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und es gibt eine gute Auswahl, auch an Fleischsorten, und auch immer vegetarische Gerichte. Die Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und die Preise sind angemessen. Wenn man also mal etwas anderes sucht und nicht immer dem selben Fast Food- Einheitsbrei möchte, hat man hier die perfekte Alternative!

We just passed through the train station, and in the big food court, we've chosen Indian. It was really good, I like the food, and it was good price for the quality and amount of food that they give you.

Nicht nur für Reisende ein kleines Highlight der indischen Küche. Wer chicken mag, ist hier goldrichtig. Drei Boxen in verschiedenen Größen, zum mitnehmen und schlemmen. Die Pakoras runden die ganze Geschichte recht gut ab. Hier werden weitere Soßen gereicht, welche von mild bis scharf sind. Die handlichen Boxen erleichtern die Handhabung beim Essen. Der Reis 🌾 ist schmackhaft und mit den Gerichten zusammen in der Box, sehr gut unterwegs zu genießen. In der Börsenwelt würde man dieses mit A+ bewerten. Sauber und schnell, auch am Tisch sitzend zu verzehren. Selbst Toiletten befinden sich in der Nähe, welche ohne Bedenken zu nutzen sind. Alles in allem - kann man mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut, ebenso der Preis. Allerdings kann man in dieser Gastronomieform nicht von Atmosphäre sprechen. Das Personal war zwar freundlich, aber wenn man eine Vorspeise und ein Hauptgericht bestellt, dieses gleichzeitig zu liefern, ist natürlich nicht sehr gelungen. Es ist eben Systemgastronomie und kein Restaurant.

Ci siamo imbattuti per caso dentro la stazione centrale di Amburgo, e abbiamo deciso di provare dei differenti piatti: sia con della carne che con le verdure erano davvero buoni, molto speziati. In offerta via erano parecchie altre pietanze, anche con offerte del giorno, sicuramente tutte da provare!!! Comes upon by chance there inside the central station in Hamburg, and we have decided to try some different dishes: both with some meat that you/they were good indeed with the vegetables, a lot of speziati. In offer away they were quite a lot other dishes, also with offers of the day, surely all to be tried!!!

We had dinner at Manju. All the dishes looked the same, smelt the same and tasted the same. All of them had coconut milk in it. It is neither Indian not Thai food - some sort of fusion I guess. Just one vegetarian dish and the thali was filled four times with the same dish!!!!

Manju serves authentic Indian dishes (ask spicy for pure Indian taste). We visited this place recently, and ordered palak panir which comes with rice (it was extremely good!), daal (good one!), pakoras (not the best one, oily, so avoid), and mango lassi (like every other mango lassi in town). Little bit expensive, if you compare with other nearby Indian restaurant which are just outside the HBF (like Baadshah).

My sister and I were travelling to Hamburg and randomly came across this in the Hamburg Central Station while waiting for a connecting train. We ordered food and were expecting nothing great but were pleasantly surprised. We had the chicken Makhani and Mango chicken. Both were delicious! We ordered the Big Box takeaway and were surprised by the quantity also. It was a lot of food especially for 6 Euros. Definitely recommended !

Loved it to the core.. We were so desperate to have Real Indian Food from the past 1 year as we are away from India! We visited this place at Hamburg Hbf.. Staff is very friendly.. I actually spoke to the Cook & he assured to serve the Best Indian Food.. Oh my god.. Yuuuuummmy & delicious taste.. I was missing it so much.. Thank you Uttam!!!

In February 2016, I visited this restaurant for the 2nd time, the last visit being about 5 years back. I had a vegetarian plate (thaali), which was very filling, had a variety of curries served with rice, and papad. (Please refer photo) Overall a very satisfying and decent meal experience in the middle of Hamburg HBf train station, which makes life easy for those who are vegetarian.

I visited Manju based on recommendation of friend, food is tastless, too much water in the sauce we ordered Chicken Tandori which is supposed to be GRILLED chicken what we got is a big plate full will fried Vegs , then I called the waiter and asked him what is this? sir this is chicken tabdori ! ok and where is the chicken here??? look at the minu photo and compare with what you served me? ok sir i bring u extra chicken seperate !! never again

This is a fastfood style joint in the food court of the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. The quality of food is good and the service is pleasant. They have some good options to take on a long distance train. I found some of the dishes to be a bit different in taste compared to other Indian restaurants but it wasn't bad. Definitely worth a visit if you like Indian food.

We were walking around in the central station when we came across this indian restaurant in between the fast food outlet. Guess what, they have a meal for 3.90 euro...iits a take away meal given in a box but you can just sit at the area and eat it. Price range is not bad..cheapest amibg the indian food range.. Try their box meal with rice and chicken dishes...Yummy ..its good and very worth the price.

We saw this restaurant at the train station. Bought the small box meal. It has rice with chicken from 3 choices. It was cheap 3.90euro, tasty. Recommend for anyone who wants to try a nice indian food.

If you absolutely must eat fast food then go here. While this is not quality Indian food, it beats eating western fast food and is dirt cheap, so also great if you don't have a lot of money.
