We were there on July 26th around 8:30 p.m., and the food portion wasn't the same as last time. When the guy (I think he was Albanian) asked how it tasted, I told him the portion size was off. He said, "Do you eat that much?" That's unprofessional and unethical. The redhead and he kept watching us and laughing. Even as we were leaving, people were gossiping and giving us strange looks. As a customer, the service doesn't make you feel comfortable like it used to; it's simply rude. No longer recommended.

A small bottle of mineral water (0.25) for €4.50 is outrageous. Never again. It's €18 per liter. Even in Switzerland, you'd have to search for a long time to find a price like that. Beer was cheaper.

I'd happily give the service a 7*! They were super friendly and accommodating, especially to our children! All of our special requests were accommodated, the kids were given gummy bears, and the staff even disposed of our poop diapers. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, very disappointing. We recently visited Oscars in Waldshut-Tiengen and had planned to enjoy the evening with a few cocktails. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The cocktails were extremely sweet – barely drinkable, almost like pure sugar water. We politely asked the waiter if they had used too much syrup or added sugar. The response was rude: "That's normal – then you shouldn't have ordered it." After just one sip, we decided to leave – the full glasses remained untouched on the table. When we wanted to pay, we were suddenly told that card payments were only possible for orders over €20 – but there was no indication of this anywhere. Only after discussion was our bill of €15.40 accepted by card "as an exception." Overall, very unfriendly service, no understanding or consideration – and that for drinks that were practically undrinkable. What a shame – we definitely won't be back.

We would recommend that the kitchen refrain from using those unusual aluminum foil boats, as they're easily damaged with a fork and knife and thus eaten...which isn't exactly healthy. Alternatively, use a much thicker aluminum foil. It's also worth considering using floury potatoes instead of waxy ones!

One of the worst meals ever. Today, April 13th, 2025, we had dinner with my wife. We took Oscar's citizens. Bread was completely black. The chops were burnt, so we didn't eat everything. My wife threw up everything at home afterwards, poor thing. We will never go to you again! We have never been so disappointed.

Beautifully designed restaurant. The seats are sometimes a bit tight, but that's not a problem. There is a large outdoor area with parasols. The offer is very extensive. Everything is offered, from crêpes, from sweet to savory, to baked potatoes in the most amazing variations, to steak. The drinks menu is also very extensive. We have been here several times and would love to come back... The service is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Full marks, keep it up. This time we went for breakfast. That wasn't a hit. The cappuccino was cold. The butter somehow has a strange aftertaste of onions or something. The scrambled eggs were horrible. You had to look for the egg and the bacon was really flaky. Unfortunately we didn't take a picture of it. There is something that urgently needs to be improved.

I went to this restaurant in the evening because I was in a bad mood and just needed a beer, the shop owner and his team gave me a beer on the house and a warm meal. This store is really great! You can go out for something delicious to eat or have a beer with friends in the evening. This restaurant didn't seem like a gambling den at all to me, it was very elegant with a beautiful design and a super nice staff and very tasty cuisine. 5 stars-
