Dunya Bistro in Leipzig

We ordered a kebab plate, baked meat with noodles and pizza rolls. The kebab plate was cold, the baked dish was only warm on top and completely without sauce. The pizza rolls consist of an absurd amount of cheese in a thin dough coating. The kebab meat in each dish was strangely bitter.

A small family-run restaurant with a large selection of dishes. The owners are very friendly and always have a joke on their faces. The price is in the normal range. The food is fresh and prepared in front of the customer according to their wishes. Therefore an absolute recommendation!

Doner tried for €3.99. The quantity was large enough for one meal. The bread and vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The sauces were rather standard and a bit too much. Unfortunately, the meat wasn't of great quality, but it was well seared. The bistro is just a bistro, so a simple atmosphere. You get one extra point for the unbeatable price, one point less for the quality of the meat. So the bottom line is pretty good.

From December 1, 2024, kebab and rolled kebab as well as Halumi kebab for €4.99. If you are looking for the hottest sauce in the Schumi, then you have come to the right place with this chicken grill. Cold alcoholic drinks, cold energy drinks as well as mate and 1.5 liter bottles of the most popular lemonades.

Hello, Ordered there for the first time, the atmosphere is appealing and tempting you to go in. The reviews put me off a bit but I dared to try it because I was so hungry 😄 Well, the Pomm-Dönner wasn't bad to start with, the sauce was tasty. Unfortunately there are far too few fries, far too much meat. The meat was crispy and juicy but the taste was hardly edible. For the price the box isn't worth it. Then you're welcome to go somewhere else where the box barely closes with so much content :-) Greetings

Absolutely disgusting food and very unfriendly service - never again

If you like to eat cheap kebab, go here. I thought the kebab tasted really bad. Anyone who has ever eaten bad kebab knows what I'm talking about. For me, I cannot recommend this store. If I had read the revisions beforehand, I wouldn't have come here in the first place.

Food was good and plentiful. The large burger and the fries were super tasty, I paid €7 for the plate, which is good considering today's prices.

I was satisfied with the kebab shop. Lately you can hardly get any meat. We tried it twice, thought it was a bad day but today was really disappointing. Big kebab where you could look for meat, a Dürüm with a normal amount of meat, but paid for big. Well, that was the kebab tribe, I'll think about whether I'll try this again.

Nice staff, good kebab with a lot of content. Prices very good 👍 below the Leipzig average Edit: We go here 1-2 times a week. The last 2 times were very disappointing. Ordered a big kebab today 🥙, we were able to look for the meat in the kebab. Just salad with sauce... That was our last visit there.

Very long waiting time, delivery was stated as 40 minutes. Wait more than 1 hour.

The cheapest meat I've seen in Leipzig so far... So really such bad meat is not to be expected even in a shop like this 😂 you can delete my comment as often as you want 😂 today the good man thawed his skewer in the plastic wrap, super delicious! ;)

Compared to last year, I am very dissatisfied. No discount if you only order salad and sauce in flatbread. Even then, they are very economical when filling the bread bag. There was only a little lettuce in it and then I found bits of stalk in my lettuce. That tells me that the work is done improperly. I'm going somewhere else to get kebab from now on.

We ordered here for the first time today and had no experience with Dunya Bistro. There is one star for the delivery time. The price-performance ratio is poor when I consider that we paid 18 euros for what we received. We told Lieferando that we could only pay with a 50 euro. The delivery person, who came from the bistro itself, couldn't change, despite rounding up (tip). A limp, undercooked pizza that tastes terrible because some hard, rotten cheese was used and a (very small!!!) bowl full of jarred mushrooms, with some meat and a hint of gnocchi, garnished with half a hand full of dried herbs. The pizza remained as it was in the picture because it was simply not enjoyable. Decorating the edge with sesame seeds is a nice idea, but unfortunately you can't even call it "trying hard" because it tastes so pungent that it had to be buried in the trash. Too bad and unnecessary! Do you have no professional honor in your bistro or why do you hand the food over the counter like that? I hope for you that you can change that or just do it (because it is obviously unreasonable at the moment).

We really like this bistro! We usually take the Pizza Speziale and it is very tasty and original with the sesame crust and other flavors too. The burger is also recommended! The service is always very friendly and warm.

Der Service war dort schonmal besser gewesen, der Mann hinterm Tresen total überfordert mit der Menge der Kunden, so das Bestellungen immer wieder wiederholt werden mussten. Und dann hat auch die Qualität im Vergleich zu den letzten Besuch nachgelassen. Also wenn ich mal wieder Appetit auf einen Döner habe dann probiere ich eins der zahlreichen Konkurrenz Angebote in unmittelbarer Nähe aus!

Sehr sauber und sehr lecker. Alles frisch zubereitet. Personal auch immer freundlich. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

Ich kann die Bewertungen teils nachvollziehen, aber nur einen kleinen Teil. Ich hatte eine Döner ohne Fleisch mit Käse und für 4,50 bin ich das erste mal seit langer Zeit satt geworden. Das Lokal ist nicht jeder mans Sache. Aber Preis/Leistung ist top!

Nun schon 2 mal über Lieferando bestellt. Pizza und Pizzabrötchen top. Pizzabrötchen 3 mal so groß wie bei den anderen. Döner haut mich nicht vom hocker. Vielleicht hab ich auch mal Glück und kann mal im Laden holen, der war beide mal wo ich dort war zu..... Jetzt weiß ich auch warum da war er Pizza ausfahren?

Sehr freundlich, esse dort immer gern Döner. Leider ist manchmal das Hähnchenfleisch am Abend teilweise hart. Und schmeckt dann nicht mehr so frisch. Sonst an sich in Ordnung..!

Hab hier am Sonntag Abend bestellt, Essen war 20 Minuten später da. Großer Döner, sehr lecker!

Bei Dunya ist es immer frisch und lecker, die Pizza ist sehr gut und Döner ist immer ein Big Döner...

Keine Ahnung was die Leute hier die Sauberkeit beanstanden. Wir haben schon etliche Läden probiert und der ist mit Abstand der Sauberste. Döner hat auch eine gute Größe, es ist alles frisch und schmecken tut er auch sehr gut. Die anderen Kommentare kommen wohl eher von der neidischen Konkurrenz
