I went to this kebab after a very hard day at work... Once again I was disappointed because the employees were so unfriendly and cut off such disgusting thick pieces of this meat that I almost broke when I ate it. Besides, it didn't taste good at all and my Turkish pizza was rolled, guess what? I could only really take a few bites of it and then had to throw it away That was definitely the last time for me

We spent two nights in this hotel with our dogs and really enjoyed it. The room is very nice and interestingly decorated, everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The service was excellent and friendly. The WiFi was excellent and there was free parking. The food in the diner was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I can highly recommend it!

Very nice atmosphere and the most authentic American burgers I have ever tasted. The Texas Cumshot really has the perfect balance between sweet and savory, which is mainly due to the best BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. If you want to eat real burgers at a great price, this diner is highly recommended👍

Great...! A diner with now excellent cuisine. The location is beautifully designed, but what stands out is the quality of the food. No usual frozen pattis or ready-made sauces from buckets that are kept warm for hours. The meal takes a while, but is on point. 👍 You can taste the craftsmanship and the love behind it. From various burgers (the Texas Cumshot has its name for a reason 😅*drool*), crispy fries to prime rib and finally soft ice cream, I've really enjoyed everything so far. Thank you very much...and definitely stay true to the new path.

Was here for the first time. Food was delicious. At first it was nice and comfortable. The young waiter was nice and accommodating. The second service was a disaster...It left a bad aftertaste... If there's one thing I can't stand, it's when the waitress, despite pointing out that there's still something left in the glass, stays at the table and waits for you to finish the glass and then there's a discussion. Politeness looks different. A cappuccino is served without a spoon. But with coffee cream... it's a shame... maybe the management should explain to the young lady again how to behave towards guests, what's on the menu, training on how the coffee machine works. What is the difference between a latte and a cup of coffee and what a coffee setting looks like...assuming the young lady is even interested in this job...since taking selfies was apparently more important...

I became aware of the Down Town Diner through a friend who is a regular customer there. Such a great, lovingly oriented location and the burgers are and taste homemade! The homemade lemonade and iced teas are also very tasty. The coleslaw with dill took a little getting used to because I don't usually like dill, but it still rounded off the meal deliciously. Definitely coming back!

A very good address, great rooms, a nice ambience, super nice surroundings and the food in the attached restaurant is really great, Can only be recommended.

I think I just had one of my best burgers, really tasty.

The last time we ate here was in 2017. It was really bad there. Tried it again today after 3 years and it's really amazing how it has changed. Due to Corona we had it delivered. Everything was warm and extremely tasty. I deducted one star because the chicken nuggets are unfortunately not of good quality. The burgers, on the other hand, are really great. We will now order more often or go there.

This goes to the “service” from the delivery service or order acceptance or the action and response to complaints (goods not delivered) It's really delicious food, a lot of it is homemade, which is why I'm still very impressed with the food. What can happen and is completely human is what is forgotten, especially when there is a lot to do. (something was missing twice) When we called and said something was missing, they said: hey, we are completely overloaded, a credit would also be possible, of course that's possible, no problem at all!!! I'm the last person who wants to cause problems... I come from a service provider relationship myself. ...when this wasn't sent by email, I called about 3 times, each time someone wanted to take care of it...no problem if the people are friendly and helpful..then I ordered something again and called to see if they could The credit or something similar could be agreed upon so that it was even...described the situation...I was given an extra, super cool and sweet...when the food arrived I looked at the order and it wasn't there...then I spoke to the supplier, he didn't know anything about it and they probably don't actually do that...so I called again...described the situation and then they said oh yes, that was probably forgotten...credit doesn't work either, I'll take care of it So they'll call later...then I called again, had a good feeling for the first time because the colleague was very nice, after a small misunderstanding I was emphatically promised this time that it would work with the code - it actually worked. ..but unfortunately it wasn't valid...I called again and then it was the same loaner again, yes we'll get in touch...nothing there...I'm really more than disappointed and I'll never order from them again!!!

Leuk restaurant, ongedwongen sfeer, goede hamburgers, heerlijke patatjes en lekker softijs. Vriendelijke bediening die hun best doen om behalve Duits ook Engels te spreken. Goede achtergrondmuziek.

We wanted to give the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, the spare ribs were so dry and almost black that they were really inedible. We won't come anymore.

Super nice staff. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail. The food in the diner is awesome. Super tasty and sufficient portions. The price/performance ratio is consistent. Definitely happy to come back. The 450km are worth it.

A great diner...you just feel good. The menu has changed and the offerings have become a little less, but everything I've tried so far has been very tasty. The service is great...I like coming here.

A very sad visit indeed. The fries were swimming in oil, the menu said there were 2 ears of corn but you only got one cut in half, drinks were way overpriced and the burger felt like it didn't taste like anything. The staff neither knew what they were offering, nor did they know the range, nor could they calculate simple invoices. Very disappointed. I was a regular customer there years ago but that was my last visit there. It's really amazing how the store can survive.

Super legga and attentive service

I ate there again for a long time a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, this time we were more than disappointed, something we had never experienced before. To date it has always been very tasty there and we have always been happy to accept a longer journey there. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as a starter. Visually they look different now. They are served as thick bars, unfortunately some of them are still cold inside. The salsa is gray and absolutely tasteless. When it came to the burgers, we noticed that the water just squirted out of the meat patties when we ate them and unfortunately the taste of the burger was no longer the same as it used to be. My beloved homemade strawberry-mint lemonade was served with strawberries, which were unfortunately already past their best and looked very unappetizing in the glass. When I asked the waitress about it, I wasn't offered a new drink and generally no commitment was shown. Not even when I pointed out the cold mozzarella sticks. Unfortunately the cuisine there has more than deteriorated, very annoying for the money you paid. We won't be coming back again.

Simply the worst ribs I've ever eaten. Totally dry, the meat was hard to cut or impossible to cut. Service was subpar, hardly any guests and then almost an hour until the food was on the table. Then something was missing, I can't recommend it, unfortunately. It's a shame, I was so looking forward to dinner with friends.

We had several meals delivered to us, including the dino volcano for children. My son tried the mashed potatoes and said they tasted disgusting, then I tried these and they were sour. I called straight away and let them know. The nice woman on the phone offered to deliver the dinosaur volcano again or give me a voucher. I wanted to have the Vulkan delivered new... shortly afterwards I get a call from Down Town Garage. Man, he tried the mashed potatoes and they tasted the same as always. I then repeated that he was sour and asked if they might use a certain spice and that's why he tasted sour. He couldn't answer this because he wasn't included in the "kitchen topics". He then asked whether my child would starve to death now. Nice absolutely nice. I offered him the chance to pick up the dino volcano from here - all that's missing is two spoonfuls of mashed potatoes. Well, what can you say about that other than: the food is still here, you're welcome to pick it up and maybe you'll find your decency again on the way!!!

Yesterday we ate at the diner again for a long time. We can't understand the previous bad reviews at all. The map is smaller after the operator change - clearer - that's right. The burgers have different names and have new ingredients. A small card also speaks for quality and not for mass production. Our food came quickly and tasted delicious! Price-performance ratio fits - we'll be happy to come back!

**Review for Down Town Diner & Motel Müggelheim** We were recently at the Down Town Diner & Motel Müggelheim and unfortunately we have to say that the experience was greatly diminished. In terms of taste, the food was disappointing because some spices were used that didn't fit at all and had a negative effect on the taste of the dishes. Although the service staff were nice and polite, they seemed to have little ability to deal with criticism, which further marred the overall experience. It's a shame, but unfortunately we won't be coming over anymore.

Good atmosphere. I can't say much, I only ate some delicious soft ice cream there. 🤤😘

Great staff. Endlessly attentive, super helpful. My wife braked while parking her moped. Bruised wrist. Immediately get ice to cool and ask every 10 minutes if everything is ok. Burgers top as always. Only recommended. Were back now. Unfortunately not like before Corona. Service top. Unfortunately, burgers aren't like they used to be. Small selection. A lot of everything else. It's a shame it's not that great anymore. Blueberry ginger lemonade sunk into ice cube mountain. Blueberries are buried under ice even after 1 hour.

The diner is a bit pricey, but tasty. Motel lovingly furnished, but the price has risen significantly in recent years, now €99 a night and that without breakfast. Service is ok and is actually always friendly. The location could be better but it can't be changed, the main thing is that there is a lack of parking spaces.

The diner is always worth a visit and a great destination. I enjoy coming here at least once a month. Burgers are super tasty, as are the fries. Prices very reasonable - hamburgers/cheeseburgers under 10€. The draft beers are delicious, cola from glass bottles, what more could I want?! Service nice and quick. The furnishings and grounds are beautifully decorated in a US theme. As a Berliner, I have not yet visited the motel. I love that there are always US classic cars here.

A really nice room in American style… clean and well maintained..

This place is like a little piece of the USA in Berlin. The motel is neat and each room has a cool theme based on a state in the US. The restaurant is super cool and has amazing burgers, fries, nachos etc. Homemade dips are a cherry on top. If you dig the atmosphere and/or food in the USA, this place is a must.

A place you should visit, really great facility, especially well thought out for children. Price and offer are acceptable 😜. The hospitality was very friendly. The ice cream (cup) was particularly generous and tasted good

Nice staff, but the price doesn't match the quantity, too expensive. We ran out of ribs even though it's an American establishment.

Price-performance ratio was bad, we went there especially for ribs and then there were no ribs, very bad.

The food was great and so was the service. In terms of price, it was within reason and is usually in the eye of the beholder. The citizens and sweet potato fries we had were great and worth the money.

Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, it no longer has the best burgers in town! :( As a new owner, couldn't you have simply taken over the card as it was and then gradually looked at what wasn't going so well and what wasn't?! I missed the AMC burger on my last visit and unfortunately there is no alternative. The coleslaw salad now tastes like it comes from a ready-made package and the fries aren't that great anymore either. What a shame, what a shame! It was always so great and delicious there and now unfortunately that was it for us!

Very sad! Been eating here for years and it was delicious. Now there was a change in management/ownership and the food was just inedible. No longer comparable to what it was before. The beef pattie was still raw, the chicken pattie was burnt and tasted strange. Nachos were baked with cheese as usual, but then there was a strange liquid cheese sauce on top - it wasn't tasty. And the cheese sticks, on the internet (menu) there are 3 and then 5 pieces. I asked on the phone and was told there were 5 pieces. and there were only 3 in it and they also tasted disgusting. And the prices are not reasonable. Price performance is very poor. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. A recommendation as a former long-time customer, please don't experiment and restore the previous menu and quality. It would be a shame if such a once good American diner were to disappear. What a shame!

We've been to the Down Town Diner several times. We're not usually burger eaters, but we made an exception there. Unfortunately we were very disappointed today. As some predecessors have already noted, there is a new management. Sorry guys, but you can't win laurels with food. The pulled pork burger was somewhat okay. The chicken burger was terrible though. I didn't know that you could make burger patties from breadcrumbs. In any case, meat could hardly be seen, let alone tasted. The buns are still okay. But otherwise..... Not nearly the same quality as before. That's really a pity.

The fries were good, but otherwise... Unfortunately, we were only able to choose a limited selection from the menu. The fries were good. Unfortunately, the Bourbon Butter Chicken Burger wasn't tasty. Meat doesn't taste like chicken, unfortunately rocket only tastes like stems and sandy. Not a pleasure considering the price of 9.40 euros.

The food is very tasty, but unfortunately the service staff is sometimes out of sorts: at best, side dishes are forgotten to put in the pick-up bag or you are simply - despite the announcement - not being seen as the person picking you up, but as a guest and have to wait forever until the misunderstanding will clear up at some point. In short: uncoordinated, chaotic and just plain embarrassing

New catering and new kitchen and sorry to say it like that…….. the quality of the food is no longer good. Burnt burgers 🍔 carelessly stacked and chicken molded meat (if not vegetarian). Fries were ok because apparently they were homemade. Prices..... Be careful ‼️ a large cola is ultimately a 0.33 bottle for €4.90. Please adjust calculation or checkout. It's a shame that I won't be stopping there again for the time being.

The Bourbon Butter Chicken Burger was super tasty, and the homemade lemonade was also a clear 5 star

I've been there for the last 2 weeks and I felt really comfortable. The menu has changed somehow but I was pleasantly surprised, everything was very fresh, good, tasty lemonade with fresh basil. Now I had the Texas cumshot (juicy different) and then Bourbon Butter Chiken which comes with a homemade chicken patty (Who else would bother with the work for this price today? I was surprised) both burgers make the taste buds work. Period

I stayed 1 night. Very atmospheric, in the style of an American car motel. The room was clean, the bathroom too. In front of the entrance there is a row of cars (including a Cadillac and a Hammer). Unfortunately there is no breakfast, but there is a cafe right next door with excellent coffee).

Overall, quite a disappointment. We waited 1 hour 25 minutes for 3 burgers and 2x fries. At least the drinks were available after 30 minutes. The service was friendly, but there was a lack of overview and skills. When the food finally came, it was only lukewarm. In terms of taste it was ok, but also just normal standard. When paying, the service staff were overwhelmed with the EC card machine and the only option was to pay in cash. Unfortunately nothing for another visit

Before the change of ownership, the best citizen in Berlin. Were here regularly, easily once a week. Since the new map we have been there once and then never again. That's such a shame because we loved ee so much. But completely new card and you could really think that you save on everything now. Both on the citizens, who are now unfortunately no more than average - and on the self-made limos. Just syrup with water. It's just too bad. Hopefully there will be a normal map and normal quality standards again at some point.

1.5 hour waiting time. Ribs burnt and not chewable, burgers soggy and cold and the finger food was tough and inedible. Kids menu was 2 dinosaur uggets with a dollop of mashed potatoes. And prizes that are not celebratory.

We were always satisfied. Now we were there again, and before that. Head hit. First of all, the burgers we always ate were no longer available. Later it turned out they had been given new names.  Ok, the next thing was, no card payment possible.  Furthermore, the popular mozzarella sticks were no longer available. Then unfortunately things continued negatively. I love sweet potato fries. There wasn't any more either.  Then I ordered normal fries and they were forgotten. The menu was always so cool, and now a white card, with errors. Last but not least, the store didn't have black tea. Not cool. The burgers didn't taste as good as usual either. A lot has changed for the worse, which is a shame.

There has been a new owner and a new kitchen since June, which unfortunately is no longer comparable to the old diner. We waited an eternity for the food, the glass was dirty, the food didn't come as requested and the taste couldn't be compared to before. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the Down Town Diner.

I think based on the changed cards that the staff has changed in general and you can feel it. I hate it, as typical as we Germans are, of always complaining about everything, but I have no idea. Never waited 1 1/2 hours for a few burgers and the burgers have changed too. Nobody downgrades and it's no longer at the level it was a few months ago.

Highly recommended if you want delicious burger ribs and drinks and more in American diner style and of course don't forget the soft ice cream

We were here on an evening when there was a village festival in town, so the shop was very full, not to say fully booked. The food was actually ok if it had been warm - cold burgers with cold fries are unfortunately a no-go and you pay a lot for it. The service was nice, but at the limit. With a little imagination, the ambience is reminiscent of a 'real' diner. The furniture and toilets need a general overhaul.

The burger sauce was just curry-spiced ketchup and the Mc n Cheese was unfortunately very overcooked and dry at the same time. Not recommendable.

Food was very tasty, drinks I can only judge the Radler, well somehow like honey water (according to the service with Sprite) questionable. Change (approx. 20%) was not offered but was considered a tip without being asked. The prices of the food are not cheap but they are justified. At that level I would have expected at least a shot or something similar to say goodbye. Well, math has never been my thing.

I ordered something and it took two hours. I had a cheeseburger and it only tasted like cheese and the burger wasn't packed with any love. And I also had fries that were very sticky. Your food always tastes good, but today it was just okay

Quite an ok place, maybe the tables / benches are in a bit of a rough shape and the prices are slightly on the higher side, but all in all a good experience and a very tasty burger. Normally I wouldn't go for sour cream sauce, but in this case I saw it was homemade so I went for it, and it was good.

So burgers and homemade lemonade are super tasty and definitely recommended. However, the prices are a bit higher and I had the feeling that there wasn't enough staff there. Otherwise atmosphere and location was great.

Very nice burgers and “American diner” style of goods. You can customize every item on the menu (more patties, vegan, etc). The have this “old American car garage” style of decoration, lots of personality and funny for the kids. They have a sand playground to entertain kids. Very ample outside seating area with heating and mantles, but limited indoor seating (might get tricky in the height of winter). Parking spaces are available. Prices are very correct and fair: you get great meals, but is a bit more expensive than a cheap burger joint. Great value for your money. During sommer they have a funky ice cream food truck serving tasty ice cream cream. Nice :)

The food here is really delicious. We had burgers, ribs and various types of fries. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The soft ice cream also tasted very good. The service was good. You have to like the ambience. It's definitely original. It's nice to have the opportunity to play on site for the kids.

COOL “AMERICAN STYLE” NOT FAR FROM “MÜGGELSEE”! “DOWN TOWN GARAGE” with “American Diner & Restaurant”, “Town Down Motel”, “US-Cars & Motors” is reminiscent of the American late westerns of past decades. Both outdoor and indoor, everything - extremely elaborate, imaginative, with great attention to detail - is kept in an authentic, charming ambience. The originally furnished diner with its stylish menu offers the right culinary highlight for every taste and every age. We convinced ourselves of this again - this time with our Hamburg relatives. We adults chose Classic Burger Texas Style, Big Down Town Chicen Mix, Chili Con Carne, Iberico Spare Ribs - all freshly prepared and served with delicious homemade dips/sauces. The food was incomparably tasty and the portions were filling. Our grandchildren really enjoyed their Cadillac burger and homemade mango-mint lemonade. In addition to the excellent cuisine, the super friendly duo: Sophie and Julian made you feel good. Both of them gave us competent advice on choosing the menu, served the food/drinks professionally and always remained polite, friendly and attentive despite the crowds of guests. They brought crayons for the four-year-old and the seven-year-old to creatively bridge the short waiting time for meals. There is also an adventurous sand playground for the little ones. The soft ice cream and milk ice cream creations were particularly popular - straight from a red US school bus! The US cars on display from the 40s to 70s are an absolute eye-catcher on the large area. And last but not least, who doesn't like to spend the night and relax in a motel furnished with a nostalgic American flair in beautiful Berlin-Köpenick? Müggelsee and forest right next door.
