Dorint Thermenhotel Freiburg in Freiburg im Breisgau

We have used this hotel several times (last 3 days room 114 - nice terrace), everything is always fine, clean, nice and uncomplicated. Breakfast is great and the thermal bath connection is practical. In summer the outdoor area is also very inviting. Everything perfect, gladly again at any time.

The location is outside Freiburg (very quiet and in nature), the center can at best be reached by car. It takes at least 40 minutes by bus/train. What is not mentioned is that the hotel is connected to a rehabilitation center and you are confronted with patients at all times. We didn't find it that inviting. The thermal baths are easily accessible underground, but are extremely busy on weekends. Price-performance ratio is not right. The prices overall are equivalent to Swiss prices. The quality of the dinner leaves a lot to be desired. We waited 45 minutes for the main course on both evenings, the service often passed us by despite empty glasses and water bottles. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and when the sun is shining it is extremely hot in the room. The mattresses were very saggy and soft. Carpets could be cleaned again (also in the hallway). Unfortunately, the kettle that we ordered at reception was very calcified and we were allowed to drink tea with coffee cups. The only positive impressions: coffee machine in the room, as well as a water bottle, fruit. An absolutely quiet location in nature and a nice breakfast buffet

The rooms are spacious but are a little dated... Having come several times last year, I do not recommend coming in summer. In high heat, air conditioning would be appreciated.

Very good hotel. Perfect stay. The welcome, the kindness of the staff, the location in the middle of nature, the comfort and direct access to the thermal baths make it a good base to recharge your batteries. Downside: The floor covering should be changed because it is too stained

Yes, the cleanliness of the room could be better. It wasn't vacuumed. Shampoo wasn't refilled. There was a lack of care. The food was good. Quiet place, right next to the thermal baths.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel is great and offers a very pleasant atmosphere. I would particularly like to highlight the thermal bath – simply fantastic! It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The breakfast was also excellent - a large selection of fresh and delicious dishes that give the perfect start to the day every morning. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation and comfort. Definitely coming back!

We liked the quiet location in the forest, and although very remote there is a good bus connection to the city. The rooms were ok, but the "micro-small" TV could be replaced with a normal-sized one. Breakfast was really good, bathrobe access to the public - and very full - thermal baths was practical. (Why isn't the sauna included?) Then why only 2 stars? We found the food to be very expensive, but we ate well and much cheaper in the thermal baths. A bottle of still water to take to the room cost 8.00!!!! Euro - I was at a loss for words. But the best comes at the end... After breakfast we went outside to smoke a cigarette. There were ashtrays everywhere on the tables. After we sat down with a cup of coffee, a hotel employee walked past and reprimanded us in a strict tone, saying that smoking was forbidden there. However, when we asked at reception, we were told that it was allowed there. That's not how you treat guests.

Very great - quiet and well-kept hotel. Parking for hotel guests is free! I was greeted very nicely by a lady at reception and the room I had booked was already given to me. Since entry to the thermal baths was included in the room I booked, I was immediately given a nice carrier bag with two large towels and a very fluffy bathrobe. I was very surprised - the nice manner and the attention that was shown to you. So great. Arrived in the room - sufficiently large with a terrace. Sanitary facilities are very clean and the mini bar is stocked with drinks and snacks. The items filled out once are already included in the room price. This means no extra costs. Café in capsules were also available for free. All in all - I have combined my professional and private life! A great place to relax and unwind. Bravo🤌👏

I was there for 1 night because there was construction noise in Basel. I really enjoyed the quiet hotel, thermal baths, massage and sauna area. The dinner at Rest. Münstereck was also so delicious and I really enjoyed the rich breakfast. 😀 I had to go back to work. Otherwise I would have liked to stay longer. That was relaxing and soothing!

We stayed there for 2 nights and had a cute little room in the sloping roof. The room was small, the hotel is a bit outside. The staff was otherwise friendly and, as a precaution, you should bring your own bathrobes for the thermal baths.

When we arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m. we were warmly welcomed. We received our bathrobes and the entry wristband for the thermal baths. We were guaranteed the hotel room for 3 p.m. Unfortunately, the wristband at the entrance to the thermal baths didn't work and we had to go back to reception. After visiting the thermal baths at 4 p.m., we went to reception in our bathrobes and wanted to pick up our room cards. We were then told that the room was still dirty. The lady called housekeeping and they confirmed this. So we were put off waiting for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, something like that doesn't work. We had to sit in the BATHROBE in the hotel entrance and wait. Since we are now sitting in the hotel lobby and can overhear the conversations at reception, we noticed that there are no longer any bathrobes for hotel guests. Furthermore, we are not the only customers waiting for a cleaned room. After 15 minutes we asked again whether the room was now available. Everything was then clarified again (duration 5 minutes). The green light was given. Unfortunately, we were asked again to present our identity cards and credit card. We had already done this at 11 a.m., we had pointed this out. Finally we were able to go to our room. When we got there we were horrified. Mold in the shower, water stains on the wall, broken skirting boards, and two beetles, one of which is already dead. Since housekeeping was said to have been cleaning there until shortly beforehand, the dead beetle should definitely not be there. We went back to reception and explained the situation. Despite supposedly overbooking, we got another room (upgrade). We were super happy with this. We also received a drinks voucher for the hotel bar. Almost everything was available in the room, a bottle opener would be great as some of the drinks from the minibar had a crown cork. The heating cannot be individually regulated and is very warm and stuffy. Breakfast was delicious, but I was jostled by an employee and I spilled my juice on myself. Unfortunately there was nothing more than a short “sorry”. We're not coming anymore.

Nice hotel with direct access to the thermal baths via a bathrobe corridor. Wellness and massages can be booked both in the hotel and in the thermal spa. Bathrobes and bath towels for theme visits available at reception, plenty of parking spaces (free outdoors)

Stayed here for 2 nights, rooms are standard, rather soberly furnished but clean. The staff is friendly and as a hotel guest you always have access to the thermal baths, while other guests wait in a sometimes long queue to get in. Bathrobes and towels are available at reception. The thermal baths are nice, but unfortunately also very crowded. There is no wellness or spa area in the hotel (hence only 3*), so you have to get one of the few places in the public thermal baths. The food was OK but far too expensive - which is probably due to the location about 30 minutes outside Freiburg city center. So overall OK, but a lot expensive - price/performance doesn't quite fit.

Although we booked two rooms with a connecting door, unfortunately it didn't work out. There were technical problems in one room, so the children had to be moved to two floors below at 11 p.m. The defect was repaired the next day so the children could return. We only received one card per room, so we requested an additional one. Unfortunately, it was coded incorrectly several times, which made it inconvenient. The armchairs and the carpet in the room have also seen better days. The breakfast was OK. The dinner in the Pirol Restaurant tasted very good and left nothing to be desired. However a bit expensive. We really liked the direct access to the thermal baths and the fact that bathrobes and towels could be rented free of charge. We also found it very good that entry to the thermal baths was included in the room price. The fitness area was fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

the thermal baths were overcrowded and the hotel was apparently not prepared at all. All guests probably come to the hotel to visit the adjacent thermal baths. On the day of arrival there were guests complaining at all times. There were no longer any bathrobes or bath towels, some guests had to wait for hours for their rooms and some were even no longer allowed entry to the thermal baths. This is included in the overnight price. We then had to rent bathrobes from the thermal baths at our own expense, which was very annoying. The hotel is connected to the thermal baths, so you just want to walk over there in your bathrobe and not take everything with you when you change. These problems could certainly have been solved quickly and pragmatically with the thermal baths, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and even unfriendly. I think the rooms are rather average for the price, but they were clean. The sauna is not included in the price and must be paid separately. All in all, a very expensive stay with a completely overcrowded (probably due to the date) thermal baths and poor service.

I'm in this hotel for the third time now and I'm just absolutely thrilled, the rooms make you feel comfortable, the staff at the restaurant and reception are very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were super delicious. The highlight is the passage to the thermal bath. We'll definitely be back.

My father visited this hotel 2 days ago and found a moldy shower. Despite complaints, no reduction in price or another room as an alternative

There was mold and dirt in the bathroom. We reported it and it was ignored. Not even a price reduction or a voucher for a coffee

Negative points: The rooms are tiny, the TV is tiny, and above all the mattresses are too soft and saggy. There aren't even mattress toppers available to make the beds harder. We have seen no support from the team. My wife ended up sleeping on the floor because our backs were so broken after 3 nights. After several requests for help we had no support from the team. We had to leave a night early. When I explained this to reception upon leaving, I didn't even get a word of apology for having ruined our Christmas and our stay. This is completely unworthy of a 4* establishment that calls itself “healthy”. Other negative experience is the restaurant which is too expensive and the menu is weird. We have a lot to say about this hotel, we have had several stays, but the hotel is deteriorating very quickly. Now we don't recommend it for more than one or two nights. Positive point: The breakfast is very good. Well located hotel with direct covered access to the thermal baths next door which are correct.

What more could you want, a top hotel with very friendly and courteous staff... the food is excellent and the breakfast buffet is very tasty and varied - there is something for everyone... and then there is the direct underground connection to the Keidel Therme Awesome... the smallest minus is that the rooms are sometimes only cleaned superficially (cleaning ladies are stressed) I can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience. I have nothing to complain about. Starting with the very friendly staff at the reception, a beautiful, clean room, perfect breakfast and dinner with very attentive service staff and the thermal spa itself, I had a very successful weekend. I would love to come back :)

We stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is really beautifully decorated and you can tell that a lot of effort has been put into it. Our room was clean and we also found the uniquely filled minibar nice. The fitness room is well equipped because of the attached rehabilitation facility. The arrangement with the thermal baths is good and the direct access is particularly pleasant. The only drawback here is the lack of re-entry into the sauna area (this should be renegotiated again). We were rather disappointed with the restaurant. But I don't want to include that in the hotel rating. Overall the hotel was good value for money.

The hotel is well outside of Freiburg. Rooms are OK. As a smoker you think that you can smoke on the room terrace - but it's not allowed. There are queues at the smoking areas :-). Price performance is good - you get free entry to the swimming pool. The sauna costs an additional charge - this must be paid every time you leave the sauna. Breakfast is good. But the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We ordered soup - it was served in extremely hot plates. But the broth was lukewarm (microwave). The burrata we ordered came straight from the fridge and was ice cold! The service was totally overwhelmed. Not acceptable at this price. There are too few parking spaces.

We recently booked an overnight stay at the Dorint Thermenhotel Freiburg with the offer of entry to the Keidel Therme. The hotel has a certain charm and the room was quite attractive. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired, but this gave no cause for complaint. It's worth mentioning that, as mentioned in other reviews (since these were missing), the room was equipped with an insect screen. However, it is conceivable that the rooms become very warm in summer without air conditioning. A major point of criticism is the lack of staff. During dinner, it was noticeable that often only one or two people were doing the service, which meant that it took quite a long time to receive your order. The prices for the food are quite high by German standards, which is probably due to the spa hotel character. However, the thermal baths proved to be the most serious problem. As soon as I entered the thermal baths, I could smell an unpleasant smell of urine. Additionally, the entire area was crowded, especially with children. Wearing bathing shoes is strongly recommended here, as you have the feeling of catching athlete's foot as soon as you enter. The so-called relaxation room offered anything but relaxation. The ceilings and furniture appeared unkempt and there were exposed cables hanging around, which further detracted from the atmosphere. Overall, the thermal baths left a disappointing impression. For younger people who are looking for relaxation and recreation, visiting this place is not recommended. The atmosphere was more reminiscent of a crowded indoor swimming pool than an oasis of calm. It is regrettable that the opportunities available locally are not being used. The surroundings invite you to relax.

The hotel is very nicely located. You can go straight into the thermal baths in your bathrobe. The food and service is wonderful. The reception friendly and competent. The only negative thing was the room cleaning service. The women were unfriendly and inattentive. We had to ask for toilet paper 3 times. But it was cleaned. We enjoyed our stay.

Surprisingly good. Regular visits in the 90s. Then there was a break for me. Now the cool moss forest with a beautiful terrace invites you in summer. The service very good. The BQ Thursday is recommended.

The price-performance ratio here is highly imbalanced. The rooms are nice, but far too hot and the fan doesn't help at all. If you want to get ready in the bathroom, you sweat the make-up off straight away; if you want to sleep, you have to sweat yourself to sleep. Smokers are discriminated against. Smokers are not allowed to sit down comfortably and smoke a cigarette with an aperitif, neither in the restaurant nor anywhere else outdoors. There are only 3 barrels with ashtrays available in front of the hotel entrance. Very uncomfortable! The thermal baths are getting old and absolutely overcrowded! Then another mishap happened to me. I gave up my bathrobe before breakfast and forgot my Airpods in the bathrobe pocket. When I noticed this at breakfast, I immediately went to reception. Here I was offered that they would let housekeeping know. When I checked out 3 hours later, housekeeping didn't find time to search the bathrobes. I "begged" at reception to please do this quickly - to no avail - they would send the Airpods home to me! I don't think it's service-oriented and I haven't received any feedback about it yet (1 day later). Only the breakfast and especially the omelettes are delicious - the lady who prepared them is really very nice and accommodating! Super! Thanks! :-) We have been to many wellness hotels around Freiburg - this was by far the worst! Too bad! For this price I expect something different!

The rooms resemble a sauna, even though I had the window open at night. The fan just made noise and didn't do anything. The hotel relies on natural ventilation, but unfortunately it doesn't work. The hotel should also take note. Smokers are discriminated against. Smoking is not allowed at the entrance, but you are not allowed to make it comfortable. Smoking while sitting is not permitted. Chairs were only brought to us when we asked and only as an exception because it was already very late and there were almost no guests left. Menu promised a lot and delivered nothing. Long waiting times and we had to ask several times for drinks. Far too expensive for what was delivered. Salt shakers didn't work. Breakfast was good. Access to the thermal baths was also very good. There were fresh bathrobes and towels every day. But that was the only positive thing. I can't recommend the hotel. Too bad

We were here for a BBQ evening on Thursday. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We were hoping for more here, more atmosphere (no music, no candles as it got darker...), and also somehow something different like the buffet inside. We imagined a larger antipasti buffet here and also that the seats were towards the back. Too bad.

This hotel is certainly great in winter - absolutely not recommended in summer. The temperature in the rooms is currently around >30°C, even in the evening and especially when the outside temperature is 21°C. There is no air conditioning! Just really ridiculous fans. Even at the highest setting, it moves less air than a fan. The rooms don't cool down even at night. It is supposed to be a hotel for relaxation. Instead, we couldn't sleep for three nights and lay awake throughout. We go home less relaxed than when we arrived. Although the staff tries to help, there is no more than a second fan. In the comments on Google, the temperatures are referred to as "natural ventilation" due to the environment. Imagine the same argument in winter when it's icy 10°C in the room and there's no heating... Especially since the "natural ventilation" mentioned doesn't take place. And very strange that the restaurant and reception are air conditioned. Since there are no mosquito nets and the hotel is located right next to the forest, the natural ventilation is also accompanied by natural mosquito penetration in the room. This means that in addition to the lack of sleep, there are also mosquito bites. The beds were too soft for us, but that's a matter of opinion. The bed linen is too thick and warm - also not suitable for the current weather. For around €270 per night (!!!) I find that to be a disgrace. I've had much better nights for significantly less money. The hotel should be able to use this money to purchase better fans or air conditioning. We found the transparent sliding glass door rather uncomfortable, even for couples. The food in the restaurant was of great quality but too expensive. The breakfast was good quality, but a bit thin in scope. The temperatures simply destroy any positive aspect of the hotel. Since this criticism has been made for some time, I assume that nothing will change you in the future.

Where do you start... First the positive: - Hotel is in a good location, 10 minutes to the center of Freiburg and still in the countryside - Breakfast is highly recommended Unfortunately that was it. The negative outweighs... - Rooms (at least ours) have no air conditioning, so they are hot and very stuffy - There were dried blood stains on the sheets - The water in the shower drains so badly that you end up standing in water within a short time - The staff doesn't ask how you liked your stay - There is an additional charge for the spa (sauna). - The restaurant (evening) is unfortunately completely overpriced and doesn't taste what it promises - and much more As a couple, we have already taken many weekend trips in a similar price category but we have never come across something like this... We would have liked to have mentioned it at checkout, but we were said goodbye very shortly after paying the bill. We will travel to Freiburg again but definitely not to the Dorint...

We stopped one night in this 4-star spa hotel before Europapark to relax and surprise, no one speaks or makes the effort to speak in French… less than 50km from France… No air conditioning in the room, arrived at the spa, lots of children diving into the bath and once again no one says anything… In short, I don't recommend it if you want to relax, since basically, a thermal spa is made for that. P.S: it's not worth these 4 stars, 3 would almost still be too much...

A very nice hotel. Restaurant furnishings and connection to the thermal baths are excellent. The rooms, especially the mattress, are at their best because the rooms are without air conditioning, but you can get a good night's sleep. Rooms are good, room service is sufficient, they don't take it too seriously when cleaning and serving, there is a lot of potential Restaurant top with great conditions, great food. Maximum ratings for the part Breakfast would have earned more than 6 out of 5 stars, it is excellent, large selection and very nicely presented. The seminars and the connection to the thermal baths are great and simply brilliant, a huge swimming pool and for just over 10 euros you can book the sauna and naked area in addition to the swimming pool. The underground connection to the swimming pool with your own entrance is very elegant. There are enough parking spaces but the hotel is also easy to reach by public transport. All in all great and would love to do it again.

The hotel is beautifully located in the forest and the possibility of going directly to the thermal bath is fantastic. However, our room had neither air conditioning nor ventilation, which meant that it became very humid and warm after showering. The TV was of below average quality. The service staff at the reception told us different things (whether you can make a reservation at the bar or not). And the service at the bar was unfortunately a bit sleepy. We didn't have a second drink as we didn't have the opportunity to order one.

Short vacation / wellness stay: The third Dorint Hotel I visited. First of all, the connected Keidel Therme is incredibly great! We chose this hotel because it is directly connected to the thermal baths, has 4 stars and there was a great package available online (which unfortunately was "no longer bookable") so we just booked/paid as usual. Why the hotel gets 3/5 (more like 2.5/5) and the thermal spa gets 5/5 points: I'm used to completely different things from 4 star hotels and this price range. In my opinion, the hotel relies too much on its USP (the direct thermal bath connection), which is a shame. The hotel room has no air conditioning, bathrobes/towels were missing at the beginning (final inspection?). Water is only available from the minibar for a fee (even on the first day!). Mini TV (well, you're there for wellness)... The breakfast for 19 euros is rich and fresh - but please, 19 euros is grossly exaggerated, the coffee (undrinkable with a WMF machine). Countless bakery cafés offer the same breakfast menu at almost half the price. The price/performance ratio is not right. The restaurant, the same menu for 3 days (1 A4 page), the food is good (and expensive), but unfortunately far from "I'm looking forward to dinner" despite the great ambience. The price/performance ratio isn't right either. A culinary evening trip to the city is definitely worth it. All in all, OK but not a 4 star "wellness resort". I could have just as easily gone to the IBIS Budget Hotel, 10 minutes away (the entrance to the spa costs extra anyway), so "you get what you pay for" is better and I agree In the evening, the city is recommended for dinner anyway, as mentioned. Conclusion: Simply do not compare with offers from Austria or Switzerland, which do not differ much in price depending on the offer. “Lazy people” who want to go straight to bed after visiting the thermal spa have to weigh things up here. An excellent range of services for relaxation and recovery. Wonderful bar, restaurant, gym. Great for the whole family too.

The good first: Location - ideal, for running and cycling, thermal baths next door, you can't say anything about that Rooms - lower rooms with a terrace, unfortunately no smoking, here you always have to go to the main entrance, it would have been great - a small path from the terraces to a smoking area. Bathroom - you can't say anything, everything is ok, great big shower Bed was comfortable. Size of the room sufficient I think there is too little food for too much money. Breakfast could offer a little more choice. Service very friendly. The best thing is the BBQ buffet, good meat and great dessert. Now what I didn't like: Of course it's a long way to smoke The prices for the food are very good, the taste is really great, but the portion size. No air conditioning Refilling the minibar for 16 euros - please, that's an outrage. A really big drawback, sliding glass door in the bathroom, ok alone, but nothing for couples. Good as a spa hotel, but not for well-heeled couples

We had an overnight stay at the Dorint Freiburg. Were warmly welcomed at reception. Hotel, rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very rich and care is taken to ensure that it is refilled by eleven o'clock. Bathrobes/towels are provided by the hotel. You can walk over to the thermal baths via a corridor. In the thermal baths, the guests are a mix of young and old. It was a nice stay, if you want to relax, this is the place for you.

The location of the hotel is well chosen, nice and quiet and in the middle of the forest. BUT... The fact that a hotel like this has NO air conditioning in the room and only a ridiculous fan on the table is almost embarrassing. We were in the hotel at the end of May, and luckily it wasn't that hot, as it was getting very warm in our room. We opened the window and were shocked to see that there wasn't even a mosquito net, even though the holders for the net were there. We only “enjoyed” dinner at the hotel once. A plate with 4 spoons of pasta with a kind of cream sauce and a little truffle for 29 euros is just cheeky, we leave the table hungry. The room service does the minimum, i.e. making the bed and cleaning the shower. Used glasses were in the room for 3 days, we put them there so you could take them with you. The breakfast offering is great, there is everything you need in the morning so you can't say anything at all. My impression of the hotel, it is not suitable for couples who want/look for romance, it is more of a hotel for sick, older people or for company seminars. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

A serene retreat with excellent amenities! It is nestled a bit remote from downtown Freiburg in a tranquil forest, so consider taking a cab or car. Every corner seems well-renovated. Modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Not sure how it is during the summer though, I did not find air conditioning but ventilators are provided. I presume it might be getting hot on the upper floors. The thermal baths are a highlight, providing relaxation and rejuvenation. Very friendly staff and a varied buffet, excellent menu options in the restaurant.

Great location but disappointing from the pastries and chocolate milk As an avid bon vivant with a soft spot for delicious treats, I decided to visit an acclaimed café with an excellent location. The cafe was located in a picturesque location, surrounded by beautiful nature and an atmospheric ambiance. I was looking forward to relaxing, enjoying the delicious treats and sipping a hot cup of chocolate. Unfortunately, however, I can only call my experience disappointing. Let's start with the positive side: the location of the cafe was absolutely breathtaking. It was nestled among green hills and rustic trees, and it offered panoramic views of the surroundings. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty, this cafe is definitely recommended. The interior of the café was charming and inviting, with cozy seating areas and a warm ambiance. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable. However, despite the promising start, things went wrong when tasting the pastries. I decided to order an assortment of the sweet treats, but I was disappointed by the taste and quality of them. The pastry seemed to be somewhat old and dry, and the taste was far from refined. It lacked the freshness and delicious flavor I expected. This was a big downer as I came to the cafe with high expectations based on its reputation. And then, the chocolate milk, a drink that I normally enjoy immensely. Unfortunately this was also a disappointment. It seemed like it was made with powder from a packet, without any care for the balance between sweetness and rich cocoa flavors. The result was a flat, artificial taste that didn't match the delicious experience of real chocolate milk. All in all, I can't deny that the location of this cafe was truly excellent. The picturesque scenery and pleasant ambiance made it a place I would like to return to. But I can't ignore the disappointing experience with the pastries and chocolate milk. If the cafe manages to improve the quality of their culinary offerings, it would be a top destination for anyone who enjoys good food and beautiful views. For now, though, I'll have to continue my search for the perfect treats elsewhere.

Inconvenience that almost nothing was filled in the rooms and you had to inform the staff several times. Bathrobes were missing twice and their belts were missing twice: they didn't have enough or they were just in the laundry - what an organization.. At the beginning the room cards were not coded correctly and the next day they didn't work for the entire floor. Furthermore, the prices for the sauna are in addition to the booking - I thought that wasn't really clearly stated on the website

The stay at the Dorint Thermenhotel Freiburg was very pleasant. The hotel is very good, quiet and located right next to the thermal baths. The outside seating is ideal for sitting in the sun and enjoying a coffee. The forest in the immediate vicinity encourages you to take a walk. The city center is easily accessible by bus and tram. Parking spaces are also available. The service, be it at reception or in the restaurant, was excellent.

Everything was perfect. Perfect place for calm and rest. Direct access to terms. There is everything you need in the rooms - bathrobes, bag with towels. Great breakfast, very varied with good products.

Very nice hotel, in a quiet location and yet very close to the city. Breakfast is great, has everything you need. The room size is good, and the bathroom with the shower is the way I want it. The lights in the bathroom could be a little brighter... a little too dark to put on makeup, my wife told me.. :-) You can enter the thermal baths with your bathrobe from your room via an underground passage that is also heated. However, it would be cool if you could see the occupancy in the hotel, because when we left it was packed. I'll be back.

A nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast (highlight). All in all rather expensive. The system for going to the thermal spa or fitness center is rather complicated or complicated. To rent a bike, you need to pay a deposit of around 500 euros. You won't get any help getting a bus or train ticket. The reception didn't have any ideas about what to do in bad weather. The thermal baths are nice, but I prefer the Vitatherme in Bad Krotzingen. The restaurant is nice but also rather expensive. For the price the food is not sophisticated enough.

Thermal pools made this place for sure , honey straight from the comb , but they can't make you a poached egg for breakfast!

Very, very nice and courteous staff. We felt genuinely welcome from the start. Breakfast was very nice. Room was very nice and cozy. I can warmly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel located on a park-like edge of the forest. Our standard room was comfortably furnished and equipped with a large walk-in shower. We found the quiet location and the direct and free access to the thermal baths particularly nice. The service in the house was very attentive and courteous, from the reception to the catering. The breakfast offering was very plentiful and attractive in all areas. Due to the bad weather, we ate in the restaurant almost every evening and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the selection. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The room service must have noticed my cold and put an extra pack of tissues in our room! It was a nice and relaxing week for us. We will be back definitely.

Great hotel, clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. The thermal baths are excellent. Unfortunately, the lack of direct billing between the thermal baths and the hotel requires you to carry cash or a debit card if you want to use the saunas. The use of the bathroom, however, is included in the price of the room.

Better-priced hotel, although you don't always realize the added value. No own swimming pool or spa. Therefore not a classic wellness hotel. The attached thermal bath is a bit old. Great location. Very good breakfast. The gastro prices are clearly exorbitant. 0.75 liters of mineral water for 8 euros is simply outrageous. A mediocre cheese fondue with pickles and bread for 48 euros per person is also rather subpar in terms of price-performance ratio. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. However, it is rather simply equipped and nothing special. Since we were there on Monday, the hotel was sparsely visited. The service knew about my birthday. We would have liked an upgrade here as most of the rooms were empty anyway. Unfortunately it was nothing, hence a deduction for the service.

We had the impression of landing in a hotel for disabled people. The hotel is pretty and well located but few things live up to the 4 stars advertised. At 10 p.m. when we returned from dinner, we asked for another room because ours was filled with outdoor bedbugs. The quality of service is far from being up to the stars. The employees were overwhelmed at breakfast and there was a lack of food. The girl assigned to the egg kitchen seemed to have landed there and a little waiter preparing the table managed to seat us at a used table full of crumbs. We had to ask him to clean it before installing the cutlery. The dinner was quite average, without research and expensive for a dinner paid in advance. In short, a hotel worthless of its stars. Not recommended, looking around in a village elsewhere.

Good experience. Nothing to say about the rooms, clean, quite spacious, the bathroom with a nice walk-in shower. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the swimming pool. In the evening we went to eat at the hotel restaurant, good cheese and speck fondue and small samples of salami, salad and dessert. Unfortunately the service was very inattentive with constant forgetfulness, I had to get up from the table to look for a waiter and I was left without bread. I saw other tables looking for some waiter, it's a shame because they had sympathy and kindness, but unfortunately it's not enough

Tolles Hotel, Personal ist gemischt, Zimmer bräuchte etwas Hilfe. Das Essen sehr gut und reichlich.

Ich möchte mit dieser Rezession nur das Pop-Up-Restaurant im Rahmen der „All we need is cheese“-Aktion bewerten. Zunächst einmal möchte ich äußern, dass das Personal äußerst freundlich und engagiert ist. Der Salat mit Apfelstückchen, die Antipasto-Platte mit den leckeren Zwiebeln und getrockneten Tomaten oder auch das klassische Käsefondue waren äußerst schmackhaft. Am Ende waren wir jedoch ein wenig erschrocken, als wir auf der Rechnung sahen, dass für eine Flasche Sprudel ein Betrag von 8 Euro berechnet wurde. Für das gute Essen zahle ich gerne mehr, aber solch einen Preis für ein normales Wasser einzufordern? Das empfinde selbst ich - ein Mann der Tat, der durch den Aktienhandel zum Millionär wurde - als etwas frech. Wenn dies künftig adaptiert wird, komme ich gerne wieder.

Gutes Hotel mit Bademantelgang in die Therme. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Eintritt in die Therme enthalten, nur die Sauna ist extra zu bezahlen. Parkplätze im Freien kostenfrei. Aufenthalt außerhalb der Ferien zu empfehlen.

La più grave pecca di questo albergo è stato il servizio al ricevimento al momento del check-in: non ci è stato spiegato che invece di fare la grande colazione costosa da 24 euro a persona era anche possibile fare una piccola colazione business comprendente caffè o cappuccino a piacere, cornetto pane e un piatto freddo, più che sufficiente per noi che non siamo abituati a mangiare molto la mattina, al costo di 4,80 euro ciascuno. Tutto questo al solo scopo di costringerci a pagare il massimo per la colazione, ossia l'equivalente di un pasto da ristorante. In camera non era presente un bollitore per riscaldare un po' di acqua e fare un tè o un caffè in autonomia: questa possibilità, considerato che ho avuto la febbre per un paio di giorni, mi è mancata tantissimo e questa non è una carenza accettabile per un albergo che vorrebbe aspirare ad essere di buona categoria. Anche la pulizia delle camere lasciava molto a desiderare siamo arrivati trovando un bicchiere sporco sul balconcino e se non avessimo chiesto di rimuoverlo dopo qualche giorno, sarebbe ancora rimasto lì. Comunque tutta la pulizia della camera lasciava desiderare. Resta comunque incomprensibile il fatto che al momento del check-in ci abbiano chiesto di lasciare in deposito un documento o soldi contanti per avere la chiave magnetica della stanza, una tesserina bianca anonima che potrebbe costare solo pochi centesimi. Letti scomodi. Veramente ridicole le rumorose porte in vetro dei servizi igienici delle camere: si espletano le funzioni corporali in vista ed udito degli altri inquilini della stanza. Comode le terme con il collegamento diretto sotterraneo con l'albergo ma inspiegabile che non sia possibile addebitare tutte le spese interne alle terme direttamente alla camera considerato che il braccialetto magnetico con cui si effettuano tutti gli acquisti viene consegnato al ricevimento e tra le altre cose deve essere riconsegn ato e richiesto ogni giorno come nuovo. Nella parte delle terme riservata agli adulti ed al silenzio non c'è sorveglianza ed entrano anche bambini o persone rumorose.
