Dorfkrug in Hildesheim

Man sollte sich wirklich überlegen, ob man dort noch Essen geht.

Auf der Durchreise haben wir diesen Landgasthof eher zufällig entdeckt – und waren ausgesprochen positiv überrascht. Die Küche überzeugt mit ehrlicher Qualität und handwerklicher Sorgfalt: echter holländischer Matjes (Flutkies), frisch zubereitete Bratkartoffeln, wunderbar abgestimmte Bohnen – alles geschmacklich sehr stimmig und offensichtlich mit Liebe gekocht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir zudem den außerordentlich freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Die Bedienung war herzlich, zugewandt und angenehm unaufdringlich – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Ein rundum stimmiges und sehr angenehmes Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben den Dorfkrug mit vier Personen am 5.2.26, also an einem Donnerstag um 18 Uhr besucht. Speisen und Getränke sind fair bepreist. Die Gerichte sind solide zubereitet ohne Ausreißer nach oben oder unten. Der Service ist eigentlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Aber, ab ca. 19:30 waren wir die einzigen Gäste und fühlten uns zunehmend unwohl. Um 8 Uhr sollte die Kaffeemaschine abgestellt werden. Auf leichte Unmutsäußerungen hin, hieß es dann, wir warten noch 15 Minuten damit. Nach dem daraufhin bestellten Espresso kam auch gleich die Frage, ob man die Rechnung bringen dürfe. Kurz gesagt, der Eindruck war zunehmend, es stünde nicht mehr der Gast, sondern der Feierabend der Mitarbeiter im Mittelpunkt. Wir haben den Dorfkrug mit sehr gemischten Gefühlen um 20:35 Uhr verlassen.

Service ist okay, essen ist lecker. Leider fühlt man sich von der Dame nicht wirklich beachtet. Ich hatte den Fischteller, der war lecker aber nichts für den ganz großen Hunger. Ich hoffe der Laden stibt nicht mit der Stammkundschaft.

Mit Sicherheit eine der besten Adressen Hildesheims für gutes Essen!

Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal dort Essen und sind wieder begeistert. Es werden qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten handwerklich gut verarbeitet. Die saisonal abgestimmte und wechselnde Wochenkarte sorgt dafür, dass man bei jedem Besuch etwas neues vorfindet. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

A very nice location. As a service provider for a family celebration, I felt very comfortable at the Dorfkrug Wille. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were attentive and cooperative. I would gladly return.

We celebrated a wonderful milestone birthday in the adjoining room. It was so nice to be 'just among ourselves'...

We were passing through and were looking for somewhere nice to eat. We received a warm welcome, but were told there would be a 30-45 minute wait. We waited maybe 10 minutes. My son even got just fries and was very happy. My meal was a dream. Matjes (spiced herring) in carp and dill sauce. We'd love to come back on our way back. ❤

One is simply stunned to see how such a restaurateur publicly denounces and slanders his fellow citizens, even recommending coercive measures. It conjures up images of a time when it wasn't called a vaccination dictatorship, when restaurateurs didn't receive generous support payments, and fellow citizens were then... but we already know what happened next... By the way, the very critical people he spurns are indirectly paying for this aid for the restaurant industry. He should be ashamed of himself.

The food was very disappointing.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and the food has always been very good and tasty. Today I had veal liver, which was very tender. The price-performance ratio is ok. I always enjoy coming here.

You can rely on the Dorfkrug even during Corona times. Unfortunately there is only take-out sales, but the quality is as we are used to from Mr. Wille and his team: fresh and tasteful. 5 stars from us for that

Popular traditional restaurant. Anyone who likes to eat goose is in good hands here. But vegetarians should eat at home instead.

I was a guest at the Dorfkrug Bavenstedt. The roast goose was really delicious, it couldn't be better 😀

Just great! We were invited to my grandpa's birthday and we were really thrilled. The food was super tasty and quickly served at the table. The service was friendly and always had a relaxed attitude on their lips. We felt very comfortable and can only warmly recommend the Dorfkrug 👍🏼

Menu changes weekly, but always very good

Delicious food and a very nice host! We come here again and again, at intervals of time, and we are never disappointed! A very attentive and friendly staff, as well as a very tasty meal...The beer garden is nice and you can spend a lot of time there in a cozy atmosphere! We recommend the veal liver hmmm a poem!!!

The food is very good and high quality. The noodles are homemade!!!! The interior is high quality and chic. The beer garden area seems a bit neglected.

WE RECOMMEND! The four of us were at the Dorfkrug yesterday and were very satisfied. The entire service and the boss were very friendly. The service was great and we didn't have to wait long for our food. My schnitzel in mushroom cream with croquettes was extremely tasty, and the salad beforehand was also very tasty. The delicious walnut ice cream with cherry jelly rounded the whole thing off perfectly. All in all a successful evening! We'll definitely be back!

Went there to eat with our daughter and grandchildren aged 3-5 Children felt very comfortable there Child friendly 👍🏻 Like adults, we also felt very comfortable there. Food was super delicious 😋 You can even order half portions of food ☺️(seniors👵🏼) Rustic atmosphere. We can recommend it!!👍🏻

Very tasty and the service was extremely friendly. Good value for money. We didn't have a reservation but that wasn't a problem during the week. The dessert was also great and large portions. And espresso was delicious too.

nettes personal mega essen , super cooler Chef . mit anfang 30 ein lokal was eher selten auf unserer liste steht aber dennoch jedesmal wieder ein volltreffer . das ambiente könnte überarbeitet werden … sonst passt alles super ! bedienung top essen auch immer wieder top . freu mich aufs nächste mal .

Zum zweiten Mal durfte ich in dem Lokal hervorragend Essen. Wer Wert auf Qualität, und schmackhaftes Essen sucht ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Wir haben eine Feier im Dorfkrug ausgerichtet und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr schön angerichtet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Tische waren sehr stilvoll eingedeckt und die Räumlichkeiten waren für unsere Zwecke ideal. Der Service war perfekt und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Preise waren sehr fair und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder im Dorfkrug feiern!

Good food, great service. Perhaps not the greatest place. But would recommend it. Alot of locals seemed to dine here. If you have the possibility do book in advance, we were lucky to get a table.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant in Hildesheim absolut empfehlen. Ein Geheimtipp!!! Es wurde mir vom Chef des Hotels Milano empfohlen und ich habe es nicht bereut, ganz und gar nicht! Unbedingt vorher anrufen - denn ich hatte als Einzelperson Glück und beim zweiten Mal habe ich gleich reserviert. Bedienung und Speisen von absolut bester Qualität. Sie verzaubern Gaumen und Herz. Wohlfühl für alle Sinne. Dankeschön und weiterhin so!!!!

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant mit toller Speisekarte. Preis/Leistung stimmt und das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch für größere Feiern ein idealer Ort.
