The food itself was okay; it's a good thing there's a wide selection of kebab shops in Eschweiler. I would advise against Döner Center, and I wouldn't go there again even if I had to. The service there is appalling!

Yesterday I wanted to buy a doner kebab box for my grandmother, who's in the hospital. Since she's a bit older, I asked if they could put it in a disposable plate/box instead of a regular box, so the doner and fries would be side-by-side instead of stacked on top of each other, making it easier to eat. The employee said it wasn't possible, and I asked why. He told me the plate was too big. I ended up having to argue with him because they had smaller plates available and could have simply put the same amount in each one as in a box. No chance, he just kept saying no, it wasn't possible, etc. It's strange, because it worked without any problems at the next shop. Never again.

I usually order from Dönercenter and have already been to the Langerwehe and Jülich locations – the doner kebabs there were always delicious. Even after a 20-minute drive, the fries were still nice and crispy, truly excellent. Yesterday, we went to the Eschweiler branch for the first time and were quite disappointed. The meat tasted old, and the bread and fries were soggy. Furthermore, the doner was extremely unbalanced: there was an unbelievable amount of meat in it and hardly anything else. I never thought a doner could have "too much meat," but this one was simply too much. We normally love doner kebabs, but after this visit, we need a long break. It also didn't agree with us physically – we still had stomach aches the next day. It's a real shame, as we're used to much better from the other branches.

They put a huge amount of meat into the kebabs, the vegetables are always fresh, the sauces are always delicious, and the staff are super friendly.
