I've been here several times; the food is good and served quickly. Service and cleanliness are good. I recommend this branch during the civil war. Plenty of free parking is available. Charging station available directly across from Aral.

The service is amazing. Can't speak German. Can't do math—even though the cashier does it all. Unfriendly. Dear boss, give the job to someone who enjoys it.

Typical BK: The service was fast in the evening; it only took five minutes to get the food. It's certainly not a culinary highlight, but if you're in a hurry, it's okay here. Unfortunately, the restrooms were very dirty.

Very dirty and broken shop. The staff are anything but friendly and come across as annoyed. You wait what feels like an eternity for the food, which is incomprehensible as it's often not that busy. And the service staff who looks after the dishwashing trolley doesn't seem to have much desire to do anything. The last time we were there, all the trolleys were full to the brim and the only thing the staff did was put a few napkins on the floor because some drink residue had spilled on the floor. All in all it's a real shame as there were other times not so long ago. The previous staff were definitely better. Always friendly and quick and the cleanliness was good too.

This place is simply at its end. All the seats are damaged, everything is very dirty. Close it down and renovate.

The delivery was supposed to arrive in 30 minutes, but after an hour we contacted the service hotline. However, the delivery took over an hour and a half, and the food was practically cold... Never again.

King of horror! I can confirm all the negative reviews. Sticky inventory, seat upholstery ripped open, "Is the sales area hygienic?? It's unclean and even dirty." Silicone sealant with mold?? I can't recommend it, which is a shame.

I went to Burger King in Eschweiler today and was unfortunately very disappointed. At the drive-thru, I received a barely-to-very-unfriendly greeting. My question about the number of nuggets on the menu was answered with a curt "nine." After I had submitted half of my order, I was immediately sent to the next window without being asked about sauces or my preferred drink. When I asked at the window what kind of drink I was being served, I was met with annoyance and the drink was taken away without comment. When I pointed out that they should at least ask me that, they rudely replied, "We don't ask as a matter of policy; we're understaffed." A complete no-go for me! In the end, I didn't even dare to check my order or ask if everything was included – the entire process was so unfriendly. I will definitely not go there again. No customer service, a bad atmosphere, and completely unprofessional.

(Visit on July 29, 2025, starting at approximately 12:00 PM) My visit was overall disappointing. The male staff were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in their work. The food was okay, and the wait time was acceptable. Unfortunately, many items were sold out, which severely limited the selection.

Very clean restaurant with helpful staff. The self-ordering kiosks make ordering easy, and there are always plenty of seats available.

If you order a cheeseburger without pickles, they simply take the pickle down instead of making it fresh, the iced tea tastes like soap

Tastes great & simply great. The only drawback for me is that these action-packed items are hardly available, like the One Piece menu and the Naruto menu. Yummy, Blanko, I think my hamster is yodeling.

Food was cold they gave me the wrong order twice

So, I'm a fan of Burger King products; they're always fresh, taste good, and don't feel like cardboard. I have to praise them. But how is it possible that out of 70% of the orders I place there, half go wrong, and I receive the wrong products? The chili cheese nuggets are often swapped for regular or even "plant-based" nuggets. It's simply disgusting... please get this under control.

Sticky tables, dirty restrooms, a broken toilet seat, and otherwise uninviting. The Summer Crunch Burgers were anything but crunchy. The onion rings were neither fresh nor well-fried. The freshest thing, at least, were the pickles. The curly fries and French fries had been kept warm for far too long after frying. Sad through and through.

I would have liked to eat something there, but when I asked if the Whopper Jr. was still $2.49, the already annoyed employee simply replied that he had no idea and couldn't remember the prices. So I left.

Here, even a simple order like a cheeseburger is made wrong because the patty is forgotten.

The food was okay. The cleanliness and ambiance weren't great. The staff worked very slowly and weren't particularly friendly. The vending machine didn't work well. Any looks for help were ignored.

Actually, I thought everything was fine. The friendliness, the wait time, and the food were all just right. Unfortunately, at the end of my visit, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. First, I saw the food counter employee urinate while standing with the door open, before sneaking out of the restroom behind me while I was washing my hands without doing so. 🤮

They can hardly hear you on the intercom and vice versa The manager forced me to swipe my bank card instead of inserting it. I had never used that function before

This was my second attempt at Burger King after about 15 years of abstinence, and probably my last. Everything was dirty, the floor was sticky everywhere, the restrooms were simply indescribable... Then we waited 45 minutes, everything was cold, and most of it was wrong. We were full of hope, since we're almost all vegetarians these days, but the quality of the food, if you can even call it that, is absolutely abysmal. Sorry - it came quickly, it went...🤮

The tables are all sticky. So is the floor. You're better off skipping the restroom; it was full of pee and heavily soiled with paper. The staff seemed overwhelmed. The wait for the food was long. This was our last stop.

Unforgettable... unfortunately for the wrong reasons - Burger King Eschweiler I ate at your place with my family today – or let's just say I paid 33 euros for a lesson in "Don't do that!" The tables were so sticky that I briefly thought I had superglue on my hands. I almost had to use a spatula to free myself – this was less fast food, more escape room. The fries? Cold, soggy, and obviously already fried, then briefly thrown into the grease to warm up – they were definitely more secondhand than second-serve. My burger with bacon wasn't a masterpiece either: The "bacon" was still so raw that it probably had its first day of school ahead of it. There was no sign of "crispy" – more like "wafer-thin, alive." And then the highlight: The kids' two soft-serve ice creams were already half-melted by the time we got them. Why can't you just introduce an ice cream voucher so you can get dessert when your child has finished eating? Instead of fun, we got white milk soup – with a dash of #salmonella paranoia. I'm actually a fan of Burger King – I even specifically wanted to go here instead of McDonald's. But when you're practically throwing €33 out the window, you think twice about your next visit. Maybe it was a slip-up – but one with a lot of fat and little flavor.

I arrive there and want to order, and what do they tell me? No meat patties today. How pathetic is that? That was the last time. Never again.

Good and clean, as you would expect from BK

Honestly, it's a total rip-off. You try to order at these crappy service boards, but the thing freezes completely, so coupon orders, etc., can't be processed. You ask the employees for help, who condescendingly say, "You have to pay first, then the order will be processed." Then you point out that this isn't possible because the thing has completely frozen, and then you get a rude, "Oh man, YOU have to pay!" Which makes me think: WHAT am I supposed to pay for the repair or something?! The lady's colleagues behind the counter immediately started laughing. No offense intended, but there's no one there who can speak even remotely decent German, and they feel so superior. Too incompetent to help customers, etc. A rip-off.

Highly recommended, the burgers were perfectly prepared, the service was quick despite the crowds, and even though the coffee took a minute, it was brought to the table.

I had visited there a few years ago and the food was good. Now I found everything very salty, especially the fries which had a lot of salt. Today I went there for lunch and it wasn't as salty as the last time.

Food is gigantic. Stale fries and chicken as well as chili cheese nuggets. Burgers were normal and not bad. The mayo smelled/tasted like fish? All in all two stars because the burgers were acceptable but we were able to throw away 80 percent :((( the drinks were legit the best

First time at Bürgerking, at 11 p.m., only 3 cars in front of us, waited for 20 minutes😂 One star plus for straws for drinks. Unfortunately the order was wrong, I should have received 1x small fries and medium fries, both small. You get 2x ketchup and 2x mayo...

Not recommended! The shop has a run-down impression and the cheese on the citizens is almost raw. Citizens are served lukewarm to cold and are not edible.

I was there today and noticed that there was an older couple there who couldn't handle the ordering machines. When the lady asked an employee for help, he cheekily said that she had to do it herself because they didn't have any employees. Such a lack of respect. And they work so slowly anyway that there is often no quick service anymore.

Food is completely fine. Cleanliness 2 stars was once worse. The worst thing about the BK in Eschweiler The staff is ALWAYS annoyed, rude and or don't say anything at all. Sitting outside without an umbrella or, for example, an ashtray. The trays on the used trays are always full. The atmosphere could be made more friendly. Children's menu toys, for example, could be displayed in the showcase. Countless cobwebs everywhere, inside and out. Everything doesn't seem inviting.

The men's toilet smelled terrible and not a single table was clean. The first terminal at the entrance did not respond to input, so that, for example, a drink could not be selected. Overall, the place seemed run down, but at least the order was prepared quickly.

Very slow service and very long waiting times.

When we entered, we immediately noticed that it looked "dirty", and we also waited 30 minutes for our order (1 ice cream, onion rings and 3 burgers). The ice cream was warm and runny, the other food was cold. The caressing older couple who were supposed to satisfy the customers only had eyes for themselves. The employee's perfume could be smelled throughout the entire restaurant and should perhaps be reconsidered. Sometimes less is more...

The food was okay. The cleanliness and the ambience need improvement. The staff works extremely slowly and is not particularly friendly. Napkins were only available upon request and I was then allowed to grab them myself by reaching over the counter.

No "hello" or "good day", staff looks like the dog has died. And this is not an isolated case, it happens every time. If you're looking for a pleasant place, you've come to the wrong place.

Not the prettiest or most modern BK, but a good place to go if you're in the mood for a burger... The plant based burgers are an absolute must here too!

I would think that the employees should consume less. It gets worse from month to month. They forgot something 3 times within 2 months and then you have to pay the full price. It's time for training to be introduced there

Schlechtester Burger King in dem ich je war. Schlechte Bedienung, unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Man bekommt auch nicht unbedingt das was man bestellt hat z.B. hat man einen Doppel Cheeseburger bestellt und bekommt einen normalen oder Chili Cheeseburger.

Visited Burger King Eschweiler for the third time today. Unfortunately, this was also the third time when the food was received just lukewarm. There are also negative things to say about the fries. Several times (on all three visits) the fries tasted like dirty potatoes. There may be a problem with quality control. If things don't get better, BK will lose three customers. Update 03/19/2035. It's annoying when no receipt comes out when you order electronically. The order worked on the second device and after a while the menu could be taken away. Even today the hamburger had a “slinging temperature”. The fries went. So the food could be a little warmer on site.

Coupons could not be redeemed at the self-service machine. There was no service at the cash register because no employee was able to operate the cash register. Went back without picking up anything. Service disastrous, absolutely not recommended!!!!!!

Unfortunately there was only cold food at the drive in, despite instructions to please make it fresh as it was already cold the last time we were there.

Every now and then we treat ourselves to Burger King. But unfortunately the third time we were there, all the burgers were only lukewarm to cold. Although these things were made hot in the microwave when the complaint was made directly, that can't be the case. My observation is that the burgers are already put on the tray, then the fries are made, drinks, etc., and of course the food on the tray then becomes cold. Service was friendly. Tray trolleys full of used trays, so maybe check and replace them more often. We'll give it another try at some point.

Food still hasn't come after 2.3 hours. When you call, no one answers

The food was just BK. It's just not culinary... I don't expect it either... I thought it was bad that there were only 3 guests and all the tables were dirty as hell. Then the staff pushes a clearing trolley (which was filled with 3 trays) away with two people... one of them could have wiped tables in that time... Cleanliness is really room for improvement. Too bad... The toilets also haven't had a thorough cleaning for years. Really disgusting...

Disinterested staff, poor price/performance ratio at the "big king", for 50 cents more you can get excellent kebab in the city. Conclusion: not recommended.

I love coming here and can always find a parking space. Unfortunately, I only ordered Plant-Base twice (out of many visits) but received it normally. It can happen, but unfortunately I noticed it too late. Picked it up to take away.

As always, the food is wrongly made or old, why doesn't the health department come and finally close us down because the store has food lying around on the floor everywhere, the trays are all full even though the store is empty. The toilets are disgusting

Food was okay, ambience was getting old, everything was kind of dreary in there. The cashier or manager could also have a different expression and doesn't look very happy.

Once and never again, the burger was only lukewarm and the fries were of the highest quality, green spots and brown spots. At the front, the seat area in the waiting area, the cover is extremely torn. Floors and corners unclean and doors no longer work properly.

Even though the terminal was off, the waitress grumbled to me that I should order at the terminal. Burger tasted like cigarette smoke. Someone probably didn't wash their hands.

The staff at the DriveIn is really underground. Several meals were bonked twice (unfortunately, as with other drive-ins, there is no monitor on which you can see the order). When we asked before paying, as the price seemed unusually high, we were told that everything had only been bonked once . After paying, we asked for the receipt and asked the lady directly about the too much food. We were brushed off in an unfriendly manner because the lady couldn't/didn't want to do anything for us because the food had already been paid for. Unfortunately, the way we were treated by the employee left us speechless.

Worst service I have ever received at Citizen King

A very long wait for the food and then the order arrived incomplete and items were missing. This is not the first situation in my case. I can't recommend this place!!

Very friendly service. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about the store. The food is cold and tastes much worse than in other stores. Non-carbonated drinks, exit would be measured on the smart or Twingo, etc...

We just ordered a plant-based burger. The burger was in the appropriate plant-based packaging, but there was a burger with bacon and probably a real beef patty on it. Glad I checked before taking the first bite. Unfortunately I still had to throw the burger away. Doesn't work at all.

The food there is delicious and it's still hot when it arrives

Update January 2025. Strong deterioration in all areas. The store appears unkempt and has significant structural defects that don't seem to be being remedied. In most cases the staff can be described as "Grumpy". I probably would be too if I had to work there. Order terminals not working for a long period of time. Several times (actually every visit) many promotional products or special offer products are not available.

Mr. Sven Driesen is a super helpful and courteous employee. If we had any problems, he was immediately available and helped us immediately. Even though there was a lot going on, he took the time for us. It's nice when you have employees like that. Super dear person!!!

The food was good and the staff was friendly, but the last time I saw such a dirty shop was in Alsdorf, fries and salad under the tables, maja and ketchup splatters on the dividers, seats broken, sockets broken, pisoar broken for the men. You should take more care of a shop very sad

A Burger King is nothing more and nothing less

Underground customer service! I've never experienced anything like that. The gentleman who apparently was in charge of this Burger King yesterday should really think about whether he has found the right job. I ordered drinks in reusable cups and unfortunately the lid of one of the cups was completely dirty. So I went there and politely asked for the drink to be replaced as I found it very disgusting to drink from this cup. The gentleman did that too, but absolutely reluctantly. I don't know if I got a new lid or if he just rinsed it off. When I politely pointed out to him that the ice cream that was specially requested was missing, he simply ignored me. I assume that he was in charge because he paid me the deposit for the cups. As far as I know, only managers are allowed to do that. But then the absolute highlight came when he first took a €2 piece out of the cash register, then looked at me and, grinning, exchanged the €2 piece for four 50 cent pieces. But it was too stupid for me and the grin said it all. I have to say that the man didn't say a single word. Absolute impudence. No excuses, nothing just worked in silence and left me standing in the end. Bottomless impudence!

Food was ordered at 5 p.m. Arrival at 7:30 p.m. Of course, as expected, it was cold and half of the order was missing, after another 2 1/2 hours the rest came, once never again!

I don't know where to start... We ordered at 6:20 p.m. and the food came at 9:34 p.m., 3 hours later, and to make matters worse, the delivery person said that he was on time. In addition, the food was cold, incomplete and faulty. The sauces were completely forgotten and the fries were still raw and wobbly. The drinks were incorrect. It's actually a shame but we won't be ordering or eating there anymore.
