Don Giovanni in Berlin

This restaurant is my absolute favorite place! Every time I'm here I order the snails - they are simply fantastic, especially in white wine sauce. A real taste experience! There is also a special specialty here: kangaroo steak. A rare opportunity to try something exceptional and it's cooked to perfection. The service is always friendly and the quality of the food is impressive every time. Highly recommended!

The pizza is a bad joke, just a cheap ready-made pizza. You feel a bit confused, sorry.

The waiters are very nice, but we weren't impressed with the food. The pizza wasn't cooked properly, and the cheese was drenched in oil. It's very reasonably priced and quite nice for a casual sit-down and a drink. I wouldn't go back for the food. It's a shame, really.

Food ok, but nothing special. Noodles don't taste homemade. Music rap/hip hop was too loud and the service also had his cell phone on the whole time and was loudly watching videos. That was really very disturbing. I will not visit Don Giovanni again.

It's not exactly the Italian place where people say I go here more often. I had a scampi pizza. It could easily have been called onion pizza. Never had so many onions on a pizza. The cheese was very fatty. The champion pan was ok. The Aperol worked well. If you look at the counter, it could use a thorough cleaning. From the looks of it, it had probably once been a bar. So there are better Italians.

Highly recommended.. competent and funny communication.. delicious food. Was a relaxed evening. Gladly again.

The place is beautiful, but the food and service did not meet our expectations. My pasta lacked salt and did not have enough protein. Plus, the waiter was incredibly impolite - didn't even say hello when he approached the table to hand out the menus. Wouldn't recommend.

I advise against the salami, it has a strange taste. Had flu-like symptoms after pizza!! The tuna salad was okay though.

Had dinner here for the first time today. Prices were really great. Ambiance could be made a little more comfortable. Toilet was a little run down. It would have been great if The front door is not constantly left open, which means the restaurant is very cool and the draft makes it hard to linger for long. There is also not just a real bill, which we then paid. The food was great.

We love Italian food. But under no circumstances would we visit this restaurant a second time! My carbonara was anything but Italian. With cooked ham. That didn't work at all. My husband's steak wasn't great either. Seasoned with vegetable broth. Very questionable. The carpaccio was lavished, really lavished with ruccola and parmesan and again seasoned with vegetable broth. The toilets... I have never seen toilets in restaurants that were more horrible and disgusting. Toilet seat at the top, swollen with urine from below, the drain pitch black. I've never seen anything like that. I have absolutely no idea how callous you can be to offer your guests something like that. It's a shame I didn't take any pictures of the food. The service was ok. But nothing more.

Service and ambience were fine. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't a highlight..Probably ready-made dough..That's why I don't recommend it. If you want to spend time together... with a glass of wine or beer, you're in good hands at Don Giovanni... with a classic meal like an Italian restaurant...

The prices were okay, but my pizza calzone was disappointing: dough not cooked through and too many spices. My partner's schnitzel was delicious, and the baked mushrooms as a starter were good.

Father and daughter say thank you 🙏🏼 Everything was more than satisfied, it couldn't be better. Whether the service, waiters, bosses, everyone is lovely and like family. The food is simply a dream👌🏼 The ambience is also very cozy, clean and easy to feel at home. We have been happy to come back for ten years and look forward to the next time. Delicious and inexpensive at today's prices. Finally eating in the restaurant again...they have renovated and it looks great and is cozy..... There's something for everyone, big or small... lots of choice for food and drinks and now even a cocktail menu...

At Don Giovanni you immediately notice why you become a regular here. As soon as you enter, you are surrounded by the smell of fresh herbs and wood-fired pizza, which immediately whets your appetite. The waiter? A real pearl. Friendly, attentive and always up for a little joke - you immediately feel at home and almost like you're in a trattoria somewhere in Italy. The dishes are a poem. I could rave forever about the lasagna, which is deliciously hearty and perfectly baked, or the fresh seafood tagliatelle, which almost makes you imagine the sound of the sea. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and realize that people cook with passion here. The dining room is large enough that you can find a seat even at peak times, but the cozy atmosphere is still maintained. The ambience has just the right balance of lively and inviting, ideal for an evening with friends or a relaxed dinner for two. If you love Italian food, you'll get your money's worth here. Absolute recommendation – I know why we keep coming back!

Food is a complete disaster, I ordered a fillet steak for €23 and got a grill steak with tendons, it was similar for other guests. The service wasn't good either, with every question the waiter complained, special requests when ordering were commented on and ignored, in the end we were told that it was all just fun, the women at the dining table with us were ahead of themselves The waiter also felt very uncomfortable because he put the drinks right in front of their chests and was generally very close to them. All in all, not recommended at all, I would prefer to give zero stars.

Price performance is top here. It's right next to the hospital and you get solid standard food for a very fair price. Fast and nice service.

The pizzas were very bad. Felt like frozen pizza, even though it probably wasn't. I actually ordered extra feta, but got extra cheese, which then cost €2 extra for a pizza that cost €7...

Food: Pizza was a frozen margarita pizza...which was topped with tuna for my ton of pizza...and it was still half raw in the middle. Drinks were only sparsely chilled. Dessert: spaghetti ice cream...that was it The icing on the cake...just another ready-made cheap ice cream that still had the shape of the original packaging :( this was simply tipped onto the plate and served with ready-made strawberry sauce. That you don't feel ashamed of having to serve something like that! And then I said it doesn't taste good and it's cheap ready-made ice cream, he said they make it themselves... Yes, of course... Conclusion: I probably won't eat there again.

Maybe not the best Italian in the world BUT the food was very tasty and it was nice and hot... the prices are absolutely fair. You just feel comfortable here with your family... always nice to be here...

We had been going to this restaurant for about two years, had always been satisfied and had a pretty good relationship with the staff. Last time my wife was in the restaurant with friends and towards the end the waiter had the nerve to slap her and harass her with indecent requests. Why the waiter would allow himself to do such a thing? Never go there again - it's very offensive and unacceptable.

Wir haben uns entschieden kurzfristig während 2 Behandlungen im naheliegenden Krankenhaus im besagten Restaurant zu Mittag zu essen. Meine Frau bestelle Spaghetti Carbonara, ich eine Pizza frutti so mare. Die Pizza konnte mangele Lieferung nicht zubereitet werden woraufhin ich mich für eine Pizza Scampi entschied. Gerne auch gegen Aufpreis mit ein paar extra Scampis. Besagte Pizza kostet lt. Karte 9,50€, eigentlich ok. Der Aufpreis jedoch für 2 zusätzliche Scampis 7,50€! Zudem wurden diese bis zur Unkenntlichkeit zerstückelt, sodass man bloß nicht erkennen kann wie viel man eigentlich bekommt. Der Teig war vermutlich fertig, und dennoch unten angebrannt. Knoblauch aus dem Glas, gefühlt eine Tasse Öl, lieblos überstreuter Käse rundeten das Geschmackserlebnis ab. ,,Positiv‘‘ anzumerken ist jedoch, dass man von der Pizza (wenn auch unfreiwillig) sehr lange etwas hat. Bei meine Frau war es nicht besser. Jeder kennt die Fertiggerichte vom Supermarkt um die Ecke. Nudeln, eine Tüte Käsepulver welches durch Zugabe von Wasser zu einer Sauce wird und etwas Kräuter. Exakt! genauso haben diese Nudeln geschmeckt! Und das ganze für 8€! Zugegebenermaßen muss man festhalten, dass Essen, welches lediglich 5-10 Minuten nach Bestellung serviert wird, nicht mit Qualität überzeugen kann! Nie nie wieder.

Not a nice atmosphere. We felt very uncomfortable, also due to inappropriate comments from the waiter. Music was way too loud. Lasagna was ok and cheap, but more like gratinated Bolognese, as there was no bechamel sauce in it. The tiramisu to go was ladyfingers with cream and carelessly prepared (see picture). It's a shame, I usually love restaurants like this.

The food was salty and I didn't feel good

The restaurant left me a very positive impression. I was there around lunchtime and sat outside. It was very nice, right on a not very busy street. The card came immediately and it only took 10 minutes for my calzone to be ready. The taste and service and friendliness were great and there was also a small salad as a side dish. I think all of this for just €7.50 is absolutely great. Elsewhere you now pay €7-8 for an inferior kebab and I personally no longer support that. However, this restaurant is highly recommended, so I left a tip.

If you want to eat crispy pizza base, move on quickly. The toppings, especially cheese, were also not appetizing.

In this restaurant they mistreat the employees and keep them like slaves. It pays a miserable salary. I do not recommend it at all because it is not fair and I request an urgent contract inspection.

First of all this one of the few restaurants serving food so late in the evening. We started ordering at around 11:40 pm! The food is average, the place very charming with lots of pics of operatic artists, service was amazing.

There were 4 of us for an early dinner. Food good and priced OK.

We have been guests here for years. Price-performance ratio is completely reasonable and the food is sensibly prepared. Anyone who complains should know where they are eating and where they are. We are in the low budget area here and not in a luxury restaurant. So far we have had little reason to complain about anything and if there was reason, it was quickly taken care of. We were always full and ate well. The only drawback are the toilets, which could use a little more attention when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness. We will be back definitely.

Das Essen ist für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Was gar nicht geht, sind die Angestellten, die meine weibliche Begleitung quasi mit Ihren Blicken ausgezogen haben… . Beim Bezahlen, mein Part, schaute der Kellner nicht mich, sondern meine Begleitung an... sehr unangenehm…!!!

Leider bekam ich nach dem Essen Schweißausbrüche und mir ging es gar nicht gut. Das Bier war leider auch nicht, wie man es sich vorstellt, Schade eigentlich. Die Lautstärke der anderen Gäste sorgte ebenfalls für kein gutes Ambiente. Tut mir leid.

Gutbürgerliche Küche im netten Ambiente und sympathischen Gastgebern. Mein Hähnchenschnitzel Milanese war mit viel Soße und wenig Salat. Genau richtig! Lachs mit Pesto und Ofenkartoffel meiner Frau war auch lecker! Preis stimmt auch. Nächstes Mal wird das Steak getestet.

Sehr freundliche Angestellte, Essen hat erst gut geschmeckt. (ich hatte carpaccio und Cordon Bleu, meine Schwester Nudeln mit Garnelen.) Ich hatte einen 20min Weg nach Hause und ich musste mich mehrfach übergeben. Es muss auch an diesem Essen gelegen haben da ich heute noch nichts bis zum Mittag gegessen habe.

Die Vorspeise war gut. Das Hauptgericht ein Mixed Grillteller war nicht ganz so gut. Die 3 Sorten Fleisch waren Tod gegrillt. Die Hähnchenbrust war auch noch zu schwarz auf der Unterseite. Die Pizza war gut.

Ich kann Ihn nur weiterempfehlen. Dort geht man gerne öfter essen. Personal immer sympathisch. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist super & das Essen schmeckt immer gut. Ambiente ist toll 🥰

Essen top und erschwinglich, sehr zu empfehlen

Wir haben einen Geburtstag gefeiert und haben gefragt, ob wir eine Wunderkerze anzünden dürfen. Der Kellner hat diese an sich genommen und meinen Sohn unauffällig nach seinem Namen gefragt. Dann gab es neben einem personalisierten Lied von der ganzen Belegschaft gratis Kuchen und Sekt. Absolut nicht selbstverständlich und so unglaublich lieb!

Wir sind spontan, nach einen Krankenbesuch dort hin,waren seht enttäuscht, essen triefte nur so von Fett, Schnitzel u pommes wurden in der selbe Fritteuse gemacht, Fleisch wa TK,die Sauce schmeckte wirklich wie fertigtüten, der Kellner oder Besitzer wa sehr unfreundlich, wir wurden lange warten gelassen, mit leeren Getränke wegen Bezahlung mussten wir dem Herren suchen im Restaurant. Für uns steht fest nie wieder.

Went there last night. My friend had carbonara which tasted exactly like maggi. I’ve had a lasagna which made me feel sick and I threw up. So definitely would not recommend.

Laut Google bis 23 Uhr, laut Aushang täglich bis 24 Uhr geöffnet, aber schon um 22 Uhr bekommt man nix mehr.

Schönes kleines Restaurant in einer Seitenstraße. Super Essen , schneller Service und super nett , Freundlich und für Scherze aufgelegt . Immer wieder gerne .

Essen war echt sehr sehr schlecht, da ist ne Tiefkühlpizza geschmacksvoller. Von meinen Freunden war die Carbonara wässrig und alt sowie kalt. Als wir uns beschwerten reagierte die Bedienung respektlos und zeigte keinerlei Einsicht.

Meine Carbonara war eine Sahne Suppe ohne Speck sondern mit Edeka Kochschinken besudelt. Diesen Ranz würde ich niemandem Empfehlen

Wir bestellten zwei verschiedene Gerichte, die Spaghetti mit Garnelen waren gut, aber die Gemüsepizza war wirklich schlecht, sie hatte keinen Geschmack, das Gemüse war trocken, fühlte sich nicht gut an, obwohl ich schon an vielen Orten vegetarische Pizza gegessen habe,hat wirklich gut geschmeckt. Einer der Servicemitarbeiter war unaufmerksam, sogar genervt, als wir Kommentare zum Essen hatten.

Das Essen ist wirklich nicht zu empfehlen! Sehr schlecht. Zumindest die bei 2 Besuchen insgesamt 3 Essen, die wir(meine Frau war 1x dabei) bestellt hatten. Ich würde dort nichts mit Soße essen. Aber einigermaßen nett. Das Ambiente kann sich sehen lassen. Obwohl ich noch nie so viele verschiedene Stühle gesehen habe, die schließlich auch zum Gesamtbild gehören.

Endlich mal wieder eine gute leckere Pizza!!!!!! Ist nicht immer leicht! Service echt mega immer wieder!

Gepimpte Fertigpizza für rund 7 Euro und weiche Nudeln in einer Maggi-Carbonarasauce für 7 Euro. Mama Miraculi ruft hier aus dem Fenster. Der Wein ist auch nur wie eine große Flasche 0,75 ml Billigwein für 2 Euro wert (0,25ml für 6 Euro). Haut schon nach einem halben Glas in die Birne und das obwohl es kein Rotwein war. Viel zu teuer für diese Leistung. Da bekomme ich deutlich bessere Qualität für weniger Geld am Schlesischen Tor und (!) eine echte italienische Carbonara mit al dente gekochten Nudeln und ein Pizzateig, der von Hand und nach italienischem Rezept zubereitet wird, kann man für das Geld erwarten. Die Bedienung, naja, Macho, der eine auf deutsch gestellte Frage mit Dinglisch beantwortet...öhm... Der Hunger hat das Essen reingetrieben. Abschließend: "Schnaps?" Schnaps? Nette Geste oder Abzocke?Ganze Sätze wären toll und gastfreundlicher ... Schnaps auf's Haus oder Schnaps auf Rechnung? Man kann hineininterpretieren. Trotzdem 1 Euro Trinkgeld gegeben. Auf dem Weg nach Hause dachte ich, jetzt brauche ich einen Schnaps... weil das Essen ständig aufstößt und echt von schlechter Qualität war. Ich frage mich, ob die Rezensionen mit 4 oder 5 Sternen eingekauft wurden. Die Bilder von den Pommes sagen eigentlich nur aus, dass altes Fett verwendet wird. Frisches Fett macht keine orangebraunen Pommes- auch dann nicht, wenn sie länger frittiert werden. Ich habe schon in einer Küche gearbeitet, also...no go. Dann zahle ich liebe 5 Euro pro Gericht mehr und bekomme deutlich bessere Qualität und Frische.

Super essen zu super Preisen! Auch sehr netter Service! Unbedingt ausprobieren! Ich hatte den Insalata Tonno und eine Weinschorle, toll!
