Dolce Vita Restaurant, Heimservice & Catering in Trier

Despite having a reservation, I didn't get a seat.

The food is truly awful. The Margherita pizza I ordered didn't have a single drop of tomato sauce and consisted only of dough and cheese; the crust was also very unappetizing. The staff is incredibly unfriendly. You walk in and aren't greeted; you're rushed to order as quickly as possible in the most rude manner. They don't even say goodbye. The ambiance is the only somewhat tolerable thing, as the several large TVs scattered throughout the restaurant are nice for watching football. The windows offering a glimpse into the tennis hall, where you can watch the players, are also quite nice. Overall, this restaurant is not recommended.

Very friendly service, with a good eye for the guests and very attentive. A large pizza (Pizza Frutti) was almost too much for a big eater. Well-topped, dough the right thickness and consistency. Excellent. Despite several guests, it was easy to have a conversation. I can recommend it unconditionally.

I ordered 6 family pizzas the day before. The delivery arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Friendly driver, delicious and very hot pizza! Thank you, highly recommended!

The pizza tasted like one I could have baked myself. It was incredibly greasy and downright terrible for an Italian restaurant. I think the restaurant looks more like a kebab shop, and the ambiance isn't great either. Everything looks very outdated.

I'd go back anytime... The food is delicious and the service is very friendly.

I ordered half a chicken and a salad tonight. Everything was fresh and very good. The garlic sauce is amazing. I'll order again.

The food was good but the service was unfriendly

Since I haven't been to Dolce Vita in years and am currently in Trier on leave, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to eat there. There were four of us. Unfortunately, I'm so disappointed. I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, which unfortunately had nothing to do with good service. I didn't have a reservation, which probably didn't go down well. The food was delicious, but my glass sat empty for ages without anyone even asking if I wanted anything else. It's also difficult to get attention when the waiter walks past you, skillfully ignoring you. When paying, I naturally mentioned that I would have liked another drink, but would rather pay and leave the restaurant. I was then billed in silence, and the waiter left without another word. Thank you, Dolce Vita, for this wonderful evening. This was definitely my last visit!

The pizza and half chicken are highly recommended. The garlic sauce is absolutely fantastic.

Very long wait times. I had a burger for 17.90 that tasted like a microwaved burger, and the fries were unbelievably dry. Hash brown fries? Too long in the fryer? Disgusting, never again.

It was an unpleasant experience. Everything but "dolce." The food was okay, but we were snapped at by the unfriendly and impatient staff. It felt like we weren't welcome. We've seriously never experienced anything like this before. Simply rude. Everything had to be done quickly, quickly. So, we won't be coming back here again.

What can I say...!? I was there with almost 30 people, and despite pre-ordering, I didn't get my pizza until the others were almost finished. The crust wasn't cooked through, the toppings were way too thick! They were obviously trying to make up for lost time! The pizza was the worst I've eaten in the last 15 years!!! Cocktail for 9.50 euros... I should have known better... it just tasted of alcohol, disgusting! Nothing compared to the picture on the menu! A slice of lemon as decoration... nothing else! After I informed the waitress that the cocktail was terrible, the bartender came over with his huge, bruised ego... instead of interest, only incomprehension and accusations! I should have flushed the money down the toilet!! Conclusion: Never ever!!!!

The outdoor terrace offers a place to relax when the weather's nice. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the soccer team practicing. The service staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious and lovingly prepared.

Unfortunately, the long wait times and unfriendly staff made the evening completely unenjoyable. You constantly had the feeling you were only being recognized in passing, and you just wanted to leave as quickly as possible.

I order food there quite often. It doesn't always arrive quickly or hot, but that doesn't usually bother me. Today, however, I was delivered an already opened Ben & Jerry's ice cream cone, which had already been eaten! The driver apologized, took the ice cream back, and promised to contact someone right away to bring me a new one. I paid cash for the food and ice cream, didn't get the new one (almost €10), and they took the money anyway. I've spent a lot of money there before...but that was the very last time...

Poor service, food is snack quality

Not recommended. Even if the food was okay, ordering food here is an experience that I wouldn't have wanted to have. Ordered the food for 7 p.m. on the in-house website, then drove there at 7 p.m. and was told the food was ordered for 8 p.m. After seeing the order confirmation with the correct time (7:00 p.m.), they said an error in the system wasn't their fault. After 15 minutes of waiting, the food came but it was a typo. No decision from start to finish, but unfriendly treatment.

The pizza is inedible. It's dripping with fat and sparsely topped, but they don't skimp on the cheap industrial cheese, which unfortunately you can taste too. Bottom totally soggy from all the fat. The children didn't want to eat this pizza because it didn't taste like pizza. And I can understand that too! At that price I would at least expect mozzarella. Drinks are astronomically expensive.

Unfortunately I was disappointed this time 😞

Staff is always attentive. Food always delicious. We just think the pizzas are a little smaller than usual. It's definitely due to the new plates 🤣. Still recommended. Best regards

Were there for Christmas dinner. Waiters came quickly and reliably. However, the food came very spread out. But it could also be because we were a large group. The service was attentive, but relatively cool. The food was okay, you could eat it, but the quality wasn't great. But everything was relatively inexpensive. All in all a cozy experience.

Food is very very bad. Veggie burger is not veggie patty it's only vegetables and vegetables is so old not fresh. Smell stinky. Pizza is little bit better but cold. Don't recommended

Been a customer for 15 years and for at least 5 years the pizza is getting worse and worse, it's unreasonable to eat the pizza!! just disgusting! I don't know what happened but the pizza tastes like it's rotten, like someone spit on it! Or as if you were to serve this with expired cheese and the pizza would just be swimming in fat...! last time ordered there! And that's true as a loyal customer, but something like that isn't possible. A pizzeria should be able to offer good pizza. This pizzeria hasn't been able to do that for a long time! Simply disgusting and disgusting. Maybe the employees will change to real Italians who know a thing or two about pizza instead they'll have some interns work the oven.. just disgusting!

The food was very good, the portions quite large. It was a bit loud, but that's to be expected in a club venue with Bundesliga broadcasts. If you don't like that, you shouldn't come here on the weekend. And we enjoyed it and we were able to watch our favorite team play while we ate.

Staff is friendly and the food came quickly. Pizza, burgers and fries were OK to good. Unfortunately, pork schnitzel was inedible.

There isn't that much choice in the Tarforst. We didn't like the dough itself, it was very thick and "mushy". The children also complained that there was far too little salami on the pizza. So the price-performance ratio doesn't really fit in this case.

Unfortunately, our experience with this pizza delivery service was far below expectations. After waiting for over an hour, we received a so-called party pizza, the size and quality of which in no way met expectations. Given the price of 28 euros, the price-performance ratio seems completely unreasonable. Both the delivery time and the product quality suggest significant improvements. We will not consider placing another order.

Service is quick and friendly. We had to wait a bit to pay but it was also busy. The taste of the food was good, the sauce on the cream schnitzel could be better and the schnitzel could be “thinner” as I personally like them better when they are not so thick. Unfortunately prices are very high!

It's pleasant to sit out there. The service is friendly and the food was very good. We were there in the evening. There was no sport. It's very spacious inside, you can watch the Olympics on a big screen. I think it would also be possible to invite a larger group to eat there. We felt very comfortable.

A SPORTS RESTAURANT. So far so good. But how do sport and body awareness fit together with such inferior dishes? Ready-made dressing, ready-made sauces, preservatives, MOLDED MEAT❗️ (undeclared)… completely unacceptable for athletes who pay attention to their health.

Ordered pizza for pickup via Lieferando. Get notified via the app that the pizza is ready to be picked up. I still had to wait there for over 30 minutes. On two pizzas, which were also cold.

I'll never eat pizza there again. You'd think you'd get fresh pizza in a pizzeria, but it's frozen food. And after repeated inquiries they claim they are fresh. What a disgrace because these pizzas are ready PIZZA. For me it was a disgrace and never again.

Wir waren gestern das 2. Mal im Urlaub dort vor Ort essen. Personal freundlich und schnell, obwohl es gestern wirklich voll war. Ich hatte letzte Woche ein 330g-Steak und gestern Schweinelenden. War beides sehr gut.

Die Pizza sah aus und schmeckte wie TK und die Servicekraft schien gedanklich schon im Feierabend. Die Location ist schön draußen auf der Terrasse.

Ambiente, es ist halt ein Lokal direkt im Sportzentrum Tarforst. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sehr leckeres Essen, gute Portionen, nettes Personal, bei gutem Wetter kann man auch draußen essen mit Aussicht auf den Sportplatz.

Essen sehr gut, ebenso der Service.

ALLES an diesem Restaurant ist Vereinsheim - mit Fleisch und Blut.Vom Ambiente bis zur "Kantinen-Qualität" des Essens. Wobei das Fleisch kein Blut mehr in sich hatte. Billigstes Pressfleich auf dem Hühnchenburger; nicht gekennzeichnet! Absolut ekelerregend. Schön auf der Terrasse sitzen und mal ein Bierchen nach Feierabend, das geht wunderbar.

Ich hatte über Lieferando dort bestellt. Die Pizza war okay, erinnerte aber eher an eine amerikanische als an eine italienische Pizza. Sie war schon ziemlich salzig, aber nicht versalzen. Alles in allem war es okay. Nichts besonderes, aber auch nicht schlecht.

Der Service war super. Nichts auszusetzen. Im Essen werden leider Zusatzstoffe verwendet. Mir hat es leider nicht geschmeckt, aber meinen Mitmenschen hat es geschmeckt.

Leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente und Teetasse mit Nick auf das Fußball Stadion, was will man(n) mehr ? Übrigens gibt's hier Kristall Weizen mit Zitrone, in Trier eine Seltenheit ☺️👍🥃

Wir hatten Chicken Nuggets und eine Pizza bestellt. Die Pizza wurde vergessen und kam erst nachdem ich mit den Nuggets fertig war. Geschmacklich war alles gut.
