Donna Mia Trier in Trier

We sat upstairs in the “Casino” event room because unfortunately there was no space downstairs. But we didn't reserve either. It's quieter upstairs but the ambience downstairs is a bit nicer. Food great as always 👍

The pizza was very good. The service was very attentive and friendly, although it was admittedly not very busy. Big drawback: There was an acrid smell of urine in the men's toilet, which something urgently needed to be done about.

Normally the waiters and waitresses at Donna Mia are very nice and polite. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience on Monday with a rude waiter. When we ordered a pizza to take away for our child, the man warned us that children's pizza should only be ordered for children. We were amazed. Then he told us that it would take 20 minutes for the pizza to be ready, even though there weren't many customers and he didn't ask in the kitchen. We picked up the pizza almost cold. We were really disappointed.

Atmosphere is pleasant. The service is very nice but a bit disorganized. The food is okay. Our pasta wasn't al dente, but we could get over that. What is unacceptable is that the kitchen crew places the vouchers directly on the salads so that the service knows which table they have to be brought to. This is really unhygienic and incomprehensible. Given the ambience of the restaurant, the toilets were pretty poorly cleaned and some of the fittings were broken.

A bezoekje waard. Lekker and good service. Worth a visit. Delicious food, friendly service.

Everything was great. We ate pizza. Which was very well prepared. Top craftsmanship. The taste is also very well balanced. A little under-seasoned. But that's my personal taste. But there were 3 shakers at the table to add seasoning.

The zuppa di pomodoro is delicious and their pizza is divine. The lasagna and tiramisu could still be perfected. It was a perfect choice for a light Sunday dinner.

Enjoyed surprisingly good coffee outside on the terrace.

Really good food in a pleasant atmosphere. I like to eat the salad or the pizza here. The waitresses are all friendly and quick in service.

Closing at 11:00 p.m., 8:45 p.m. asked if the kitchen was still open. "Yes, but only for main courses" After 15 minutes there was still no question as to whether you would like to drink anything... let alone what you would like to eat. The waitress walked past us three times. I can't shake the feeling that they just didn't feel like being in the kitchen anymore. In retrospect, I'm glad that we got up and left the restaurant.

While walking and looking I found this restaurant. I immediately liked the atmosphere, very nice, staff very polite and attentive, everything was clean Menu has a wide selection of dishes with something for everyone Price performance is right. And it tasted very good too. Can highly recommend it.

The kitchen closed on a Friday evening at 9:45 p.m. (although it is stated that it is open until 11 p.m.)

First good impression, very friendly and helpful. However, we had ordered a plate of antipasti WITHOUT fish and seafood. Among other things, we got Vitello Tonato. When we complained about this, the waitress told us that she had told us VT but would be willing to take it down. We didn't want fish or anything similar because of an allergy... Unfortunately, this is not a recommendation, as the work completely ignores the guest

The food was ok. However, I found the price for a glass of orange juice with half a glass of ice cubes in it too expensive at €5. Don't necessarily have to go to Donna Mia again. The service was good.

Overall we were satisfied. It's really nice to sit here, inside and outside. Service was very dependent on the person, one waiter was very attentive and friendly, the other didn't show up for a while. The food tasted good, but it wasn't really anything special, barely seasoned. Prices are okay overall, but the price calculation is a bit strange, so we were a bit surprised.

Basically, everything in one was a nice afternoon, the food was really tasty, but you were turned away from the seat you had occupied for 2 hours because there was a reservation, but of course an order was still taken at 5:25 p.m., the order was then placed at Brought to you at 5:30 p.m. and then you could change seats at 5:34 p.m.! It should have been communicated in advance that the place was allocated or reserved at 6 p.m.

Great restaurant. Friendly staff and very tasty, affordable food. We did have to wait a long time to order extra drinks because our waitress was on a break and there was no replacement. Hence 3 stars. We will definitely come back and I hope I can give 5 stars here too.

Genoten in het zonnetje van een heerlijke pizza. We deelden 1 pizza voor ons 2, zeker geen probleem. De bediening was vriendelijk en kwam vragen of alles naar wens was. Duidelijke uitleg en snel ons eten. Lekkere riesling en een goeie aperol. Als er dan toch een puntje van kritiek mag zijn, we hebben even moeten wachten tot we aan de beurt waren voor de bestelling. Een groot terras en het personeel was vaak aan 1 kant bezig. Misschien dat ze zich beter opdelen per kant. Maar we hadden tijd. Lekker eten en service, daar draait het om. Het meisje dat ons heeft bediend sprak ook vlot engels, ook niet altijd te vinden in Duitsland. Goed gedaan.

I only had a homemade lemonade here on the terrace, and I would love to come back again. The taste and quality was fantastic.

Bad kitchen!! We waited 1 hour for our main course. The waitress came to tell us that there was chaos in the kitchen and they had forgotten our order. We paid for the drinks and left!!

Service started short and unfriendly. Fortunately, this changed after a while, but we also felt a certain pressure between the servers. We had to wait a really long time for our main course. The food was tasty, especially the starters. The lemonades are also really worth trying.

Hello, my wife and I ate inside the restaurant and at the end when we went to pay, the waiter with long hair treated us very badly because we didn't give a tip, I think this is very serious, let it not happen again!

Delicious pizzas, although the toppings were a bit sparse. The menu is large and has something to suit every desire. The service was quick and friendly and great attention was paid to allergies. You can sit on the square in front of the St. George's Fountain and enjoy the evening. The prices are just acceptable, sometimes too expensive. The toilets are clean.

Unfortunately, out of 5 dishes we ordered, we complained about a pasta aglio-olio because it was full of melted Parmesan cheese. I informed the waitress and shift manager that my wife cannot eat them due to intolerance and that there is actually no melted parmesan on an aglio olio. The decision was that we had to pay in full even though we couldn't touch the dish... we had a bill of €80 and no one thought it necessary to make us a new pasta (value approx. €2-3)... The rest was salad and... Pizza tasted average, all in all very disappointing

Food was average... but the price was shocking. Almost 50 euros for two salads and a bottle of water. Unthinkable and in retrospect you could have saved yourself a visit here……

I haven't ordered carbonara in restaurants for years because they usually taste relatively bland. This time I dared again and was thrilled! The dessert afterwards was also a dream. Never had such delicious Giotto ice cream. I will gladly come again!

Vandaag ons bezoek aan Trier gecombineerd met een etentje bij DonnaMia. Waren hier al eerder geweest en dat was goed bevallen. Ook nu weer genoten van de heerlijke Zappa Pomodoro. Ik had daarna een pizza Diavolo. Voor de liefhebber van pikant een aanrader🔥🔥. Bediening was vlot en hoofdgerecht in overleg met personeel wat later laten komen. Voorstel kwam van medewerker zelf. Goed meegedacht 👍. Volgende keer in Trier komen we zeker weer terug

Food tasted as usual, service was miserable... after sitting for almost 10 minutes and waving three times, no one came until another table pointed out to the waitress that I was probably thirsty too. After I ordered food and drinks, the food came first, then after another 5-10 minutes the drinks came with the statement that the printer was crazy, strange that the tables ordered after me and then got the drinks first. Well, I don't understand that in a full shop, but with 13 tables and three service staff outside, I also work in the restaurant but because I wanted to eat something with you, I stayed seated.

Quite overpriced, it's worth going to the smaller bars on the side streets. Nice service, the drinks and food came relatively quickly.

Location is great in the heart of Trier. Service staff is very friendly, fast and attentive. Unfortunately it doesn't make up for the bland tasteless food. We had 3 different pizzas. All bland, cheese without taste and dough average. Deep fried dumplings are said to be 5 different variants. I couldn't taste it, it's a shame. Side salad was ok.

I visited this restaurant with my mom and the kids. The waitress immediately brought toys, pens, and paper for the kids, which was a nice touch. The service and friendliness were outstanding, complemented by excellent pizza and kid-friendly dishes. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Been there in May 2024. Pizza and pasta were tasty, but I didn't eat anything special. The average price for pizza is 14€, the portion is plenty. The service was friendly and the food came relatively quickly. Right in the Kornmarkt in the city center, perfect location!

Caesar salad was one of the best I've had, great environment, kid friendly.

We were there yesterday at lunchtime, May 23rd. there and ordered 2 x “Cesare” salad with Pollo Arrosto. Not only did it take almost 50 minutes for the salad to arrive after the starter, but both dishes were a disaster! The lettuce leaves all had brown/black edges and cut surfaces. At least 3 days old! The chicken strips were fried to death, totally dry and tough! And the salad costs 20 euros each! The really nice waitress was very uncomfortable and apologized. Nevertheless, we had to pay in full for the almost untouched salads! We've eaten there many times, but we've never had such bad food there! W.Lehnen

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis Service, Essen, Preis, – Leistungsverhältnis ausgezeichnet. Wir waren zu viert und haben alle ein Pasta Gericht gegessen.

Nice place with big terrace to enjoy italian like food. The lasagne was good. You can enjoy a beer here and they have a selection of wines available.

Worst pizza in Trier. The sauce should be changed and the cheese doesn't taste good either, the cheapest of the cheap! Waited over an hour for the pizza. Nice service, that was all.

Last visit was a terrible experience, slow service, pizza is just about eatable and arrived lukewarm. Caesar salad without any chicken, instead two tiny pieces of cold bacon, served with some croutons, parmesan cheese on the bed of yellowish, almost off lettuce, very poor presentation. On top of that they have also massively increased the prices, not worth the money!

I was here for lunch. Pizza was good. Unfortunately I had to wait 40 minutes for the Salsicca Rosso pizza. I found the salsicca a bit weak, but there was plenty of chili oil and spices at the table for seasoning, which I really liked. The restaurant is visually very beautifully designed and also very cozy.

We celebrated a friend's birthday. It's a nice place, but it's very noisy, so choose wisely where you want to sit so as not to shout at each other)

Pizzeria Donna Mia is a cozy little restaurant. Here you can sit comfortably with friends and enjoy the delicious food. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I can really recommend it.

Were very dissatisfied on our last visit. The taste of the food was really bad. It tasted like noodles with water. Also, it was only lukewarm because the waitress left it for a long time. We saw it because we were sitting right next to the kitchen. I returned my full plate. When asked about this, the waitress just asked if I would like to order another dish (new dish, extra payment. Very uncomprehending). Wanted to speak to the supervisor. She just brushed us off and said that SHE was the shift manager and that "food" that didn't taste good would be paid for in full. We were very surprised at the reaction. Before that we regularly ate at Donna Mia. People ALWAYS asked if everything was OK. It's a shame, we're not really essential customers.

The pizza dough is the best topping I've ever had. Very thin and super crispy. Stands out of the box. Very friendly staff. Rustic atmosphere. The pictures on the walls let your eyes wander and are reminiscent of old Italy. Gladly again!

Were there for the last 2 days, unfortunately we waited a little longer for the waiter on the first day. But afterwards we were 100% satisfied. Terrace was full and still great service afterwards. The pizza is only recommended. We will be back!

Nice place that is easy to access, but only mediocre expensive food.

We were there today for Sunday shopping. The terrace was very crowded. The waitresses were friendly but didn't always have an overview because of the many guests. Starters and drinks were pretty quick. We then waited about 90 minutes for the main course. It was probably forgotten or lost. The food was really tasty but a very small portion. When asked because of the long waiting time, it was not possible to get a drink on the house.

Not even one. Star value. I'm so angry that I can't find the right words. Paid €75 and the plates were returned full. Just disgusting.
