Were very satisfied again... very good restaurant. Recommended

When we arrived all the tables were occupied. We decided to wait for the next available table and even received a Prosecco on the house while we waited. The food was very good.

Great food, but bring a lot of time because the service is completely understaffed and sometimes doesn't show up for 20-30 minutes. Over 3 hours for a starter and main course is already tough. If you want to be in the league in terms of price, you have to deliver on all points. It's a shame, there's potential.

On August 2nd, 2024 we had dinner there with four people. The salad was very tasty, the pizza was good, the pasta and sauce could have come from a pre-packaged package. You can make something like this better at home. We ordered non-alcoholic wheat beer and still got normal beer. When we complained, the waitress claimed that. We wouldn't have ordered a non-alcoholic beer, even though four people were able to confirm the non-alcoholic beer order. The beer was then exchanged. But even when the waitress came to the table with the right beer, she didn't stop arguing that the mistake was ours. Such nonsensical discussions can spoil the guests' mood. We won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, the waiter had a very bad day with us, we were there with eleven people and were sitting outside. Unfortunately, forgetting a meal shouldn't be a problem except for the male waitress, after which we were ignored. Well, it's actually a shame. Food was good. Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Antonio's and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the owner, Antonio. His hospitality and passion for Italian cuisine made the evening even more special. The restaurant menu offers a large selection of fresh fish dishes, a real rarity in Germany. Each course was carefully prepared and presented with a touch of elegance. We started with an appetizer of very fresh and delicious mixed seafood accompanied by prawn and tuna tartare which immediately transported us to the Italian coasts. For the main course, Antonio recommended the paccheri with lobster. The fish was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful, exactly as you would find in a seaside restaurant in Italy. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to satisfy every request. Antonio took the time to come to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and relaxing, with a decoration that recalls the Mediterranean style. It is the ideal place for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends and family. In conclusion, this restaurant is a real hidden gem in Germany. If you are looking for a restaurant that offers fresh fish and authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. Food and service are excellent and of a high standard. There's a star deducted for the ambience because the audience there wasn't that great twice now. There was conversation across the bar in the deepest Trierer Platt. Not nice for an upscale restaurant.

Small inconspicuous restaurant. Parking at Südbad, two minutes away. Ordered pizza and salad, which we shared as a couple and had said so in advance. The large salad came nicely prepared on two plates, something we hadn't had in other pizzerias before. Very good food and fast service, toilets clean. We would be happy to come back with the group

The food was very tasty. Points deducted for the pizza, I ordered it without ham, but was served with ham. Pasta dishes perfect. Service was very friendly and quick. At the end the waiter asked if we would like to drink another grappa or sambuca. Yes, with pleasure, unfortunately this was not a gesture from the restaurant (as we are used to at Italian restaurants), we found these drinks on the bill.

We went there for the first time based on recommendations and the extremely positive reviews; we were not disappointed: We had reserved and were then able to choose the table. We were warmly welcomed. The ambience, especially at the front of the bar and pizza oven, is beautifully designed. It is quite comfortably furnished. We sat comfortably and functionally. The sanitary areas were also very clean - which was particularly positive. 4/5 The service welcomed us in a friendly and relaxed manner. We were served quickly, friendly and courteously. At no time was anything missing. Everything went quickly with the respective orders. The only small, very friendly constructive criticism: plates were already being cleared away when not everyone was finished, which was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise everything was great. 4/5 The highlight - and that's how it should be - was the food! We had various pizzas as well as meat and fish with vegetables and side dishes. The pizzas had a fluffy dough that was crispy on the edges and were fresh and plentiful with toppings. The fish and meat were well fried and of very good quality. We all really enjoyed it. It was also very tastefully prepared. Everything was really tasty, there was nothing to complain about! Keep it up! 5/5 The visit was worth it - and it wasn't expensive; absolutely appropriate. We paid just under 30€/person with drinks and tips - completely okay considering the quality. 4.5/5 Overall 17.5/20 and overall deserved 5/5 stars. We will come back and give absolute recommendation! Keep it up! Update: The veal liver is also highly recommended (see picture).

Just ordered some pizza to take away. The pizza was super good( one of the best in Trier if not the best..) definitely will come back. They speak English over the phone if you ask and you can order what you like.the interior of the restaurant looks great so definitely a good choice to dine in. I hope they will be available on various delivery apps. Prices are above average so keep that in mind.

Auf Empfehlung haben wir dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier durchgeführt. Schade: Essen kam ohne Organisation zum Tisch, z. B. Erst Fleisch, 20 Minuten später Beilagen. Ein Essen wurde erst auf Nachfrage verspätet serviert. Waren mit 25 Personen dort, bis auf 6 Personen war der Rest unzufrieden. Bei dem Preis kann man eigentlich mehr erwarten.

Essen war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Bruschetta auf billigstem Baguette, Pizza in Ordnung und Pasta gut. Ambiente ist nicht schön, sehr kühl eingerichtet und extrem laut, da es keine Vorhänge o.ä. gibt. Preise deutlich zu hoch. Sehr fragwürdig, dass es in einem Restaurant, das sich als “Das italienische Restaurant” bezeichnet, Pizza und Tortellini mit Sauce Hollandaise oder BBQ sauce gibt.

Für mich der beste Italiener in Trier, die Aglio e Olio war sehr lecker, vorallem wurde auch mein Wunsch, das Gericht etwas weniger scharf zu machen, berücksichtigt. Klasse!

Wir waren letzten Mittwoch das erste mal da,schon beim Eintreten wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen,es wirkt alles sehr gepflegt,man fühlte sich wie in Italien.Es war um die Mittagszeit ,und gut besucht.trotzdem hatte man stehts ein aufmerksammes Auge für die Gäste.wir hatten uns für eine Salatplatte,und eine Pizza,sehr sehr lecker, Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben, aber wir wollten unseren Hund in der Tierklinik nicht warten lassen. Schade dass wir nicht in der Nähe wohnen,,wir wären öfters da,wir empfehlen es weiter,und solltet Ihr in der Nähe sein ,kehrt ein es wird Euch gefallen.

Leider ein Reinfall Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben ein solche fades Essen gehabt Habe mir selbst die halbe die halbe Salzpulle über die Nudeln gekippt Die Trüffel hatte leider auch 0 Geschmack Sehr schade eigentlich Die Lasagne war Ok ,mehr aber auch nicht Hat geschmeckt wie Tiefkühllasagne Tomatensauce ? Nein Keinen Digestiv aufs Haus sondern nur ne Visitekarte

Super nette Leute und das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Habt das gut hinbekommen. 👍 Weiter so ... ! PS Vielleicht hätte es ein Piano auch getan. Oder den Flügel in den hinteren Bereich gestellt, dann wäre es mit den "Nebengeräuschen" wohl auch etwas besser. Vom Platzt her bleibt's das gleiche. Nur so'ne Idee 💡 Bis zum nächsten mal.

Der Service war leider nicht gut = scheinbar überfordert. Essensbestellung wurde aufgenommen bevor Getränke gereicht wurden - was sehr lange gedauert hat. Andere Tische bekamen Brot und Butter - bei uns wurde dies vergessen wie der Kellner auf Nachfrage beim Abrechnen mitteilte. Leute am Tisch wurden nicht gleichzeitig bedient - einige hatten schon einen Großteil aufgegessen bevor die anderen ihr Essen erhielten. Beilagen kamen erst sehr spät, als Fleisch schon fast verzehrt war. Getränke-Nachbestellung wurde nicht angeboten. Akustik im Raum war kaum auszuhalten. Innenausstattung für das Preissegment dürftig - keine Tischdecken und nur Papier-Servietten. Auf der Terrasse unbequeme Plastik-Stühle. Toiletten ohne Papier und ohne Seife. Bei diesen Preisen hätten wir mehr erwartet = Preis-Leistung nicht in Ordnung ! Fazit: Eher eine „normale“ Pizzeria, aber auf keinen Fall ein guter „Italiener“. Schade !

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal dort seit der Neu-Eröffnung. Es gibt hier in der Region leider so viele mittelmässige und schlechte Italiener, dass ich mir nicht unbedingt viel erwartete...aber nein : hier wurden wir angenehm überrascht. Der Service stimmt, die Gerichte sind lecker und haben das gewisse Etwas, die Speisekarte hat sowohl Klassiker wie auch Originelles parat, die Weinauswahl ist richtig gross und gut, das Ambiente stimmt auch....top! Wir kommen wieder!
