Doda's is a lovely restaurant with delicious food and a lovely staff. Try the Sabich! you will not be disappointed. Note: I am gluten free, and I've never had a problem eating there.

I called ahead and asked if you were open on the holiday (today)! You said yes. I had an appointment there with my Israeli family and of course you were closed. In 3 out of 4 times you were closed when I was there, which is why I called ahead, but apparently you were closed even then.

I've been to this restaurant a few times, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is always delicious and full of flavor. The staff are warm, helpful, and just genuinely nice. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

To find a living room for food is hard in Berlin. At Doda‘s, you immediately walk in and feel like you’re about to open your grandmothers fridge. It’s just THAT comfortable and warm. Service, people, and the food, are you kidding me, it’s a hug on all senses. Do appreciate yourself and do come here for some snacks to share, some drinks, a quick but leisure lunch, you simply can’t regret this.

DoDa’s is a wonderful warm place that serves excellent high quality food. The staff working pours their heart and soul into preparing delicious food. I’ve been several times and each meal has been better than the less. There are plenty of good vegetarian options as well. I highly recommend this place!

One of the most successful and delicious restaurants in Berlin. Delicacies from the Israeli kitchen, served with love.

These guys are just perfection. From the moment you walk in and the staff is greeting you with a warm smile, until you entirely finish off your plate, and you are actually quite sad that it is over. Just a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The kitchen is simply incredible; it reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking, for there is something so homey, familiar and cozy about eating there. My favourite dish is the Chicken Sofrito, but the Tel Aviv meatballs are not too shabby. Plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians too.

Really nice spot. Recommend their mixed plates or their sandwiches/wraps - the dishes themselves are ok, but lack some depth/variety of flavour (I had the stewed beef). The portions are also very generous - you could probably get away with sharing a mix plate if you order extra bread - making the price fair for the quantity and quality. The lack of table service keeps the restaurant running efficiently and is in-line with the "deli" concept, but the care they put into preparation and the presentation makes it feel like they are trying to cultivate a more premium atmosphere. So atmosphere-wise it's in a bit of a strange spot between "fast food deli" and "nice sit-down experience." But overall I definitely recommend!

That was a huge block of white flour and fat! But it was worth every calorie and saturated fatty acid ☝️ The chicken sandwich with hummus was incredibly good. Absolutely worth the €11. Overall relatively expensive, but if everything tastes so good then it's okay. I personally really liked the interior design. Except the toilet, which is really ugly.

Staff is always super nice and the food is authentic, healthy and always freshly prepared. Portions are pretty big. The place is cozy and rarely too busy.

It was my first time eating Israeli food here and I've been coming back ever since. The food is sooo good (my favorite: Cauliflower Sabich), as is the ambience and music. The staff are also very friendly and will give you advice :)

Really great food and cute place. The falafel is excellent, turkey shawarma is delicious, and the chicken schnitzel really surprised me how good it was! The ladies working there are also always friendly.

Festival of flavours on a plate. Delicious, well balanced portions and lovely service. It’s a must try in Berlin. One improvement suggestion: reconsidering serving only half size of a laffa to a main course.

Cozy place, amazing staff and great food

We had schnitzel with potato mash and small salad, and hummus plate. Everything was really good. The hummus was gentle and creamy and the eggplant, egg, beans were perfect match all together. The schnitzel was thin and crispy . Will definitely come back!

I love this store! The best schnitzel I've ever eaten. And the portions are huge, which is incredible for the price.

A friend of mine told me that their sandwiches are good but I experimented with the chicken sofrito – didn't like it. I should have stuck with my friend's recommendation. Next time :) The vibe was great though. Lovely interiors and the staff.

Response to the owner: I am sorry but it is simply not true. Your waiter did not approach us, we got up and wanted to pay for the beer because we just couldn’t wait anymore. Because we have been to your place before we wanted to share this experience here. Unfortunately our order did not get pushed back at the top at any point nor did your waiter explained to us that she had not printed the order ticket. I think you might have had other confusions on the 8th of March and you’re referring to another couple but in our case (and I have no reason for lying here) we were not updated, we were the ones approaching you until the last minute and we did not receive reassurance that the food will be prepared. Our order was number 6 and at one point, when number 5 and 7 went out we flagged that we had order number 6 and no one said anything. After we flagged that we had order nr. 6 we waited for at least 30 more minutes (with no updates at all) until we finally decided to leave. And we would have stayed if you would have reassured us that we won’t have to wait for so long, because again, we really like your food. ——— We unfortunately need to leave 1 star review given our experience today. Before going into it, we love this place and all our visits before were great (we come here at least once a month and we usually order the schnitzel sandwich). Today we wanted to celebrate women’s day so we ordered two different main dishes and we sat down waiting for our order. We waited close to one hour, watched everyone else that had arrived after us, including Wolt orders being given their food, except us. While we waited no one came to check on us or to update us on the time for the order. In the end we could not wait anymore (I am pregnant and very hungry) so we left. It’s true, we did not have to pay for the beer my husband drank, but still doesn’t change the experience. I hope they improve their orders system so no one has to wait 1 h for their food while watching everyone else eat theirs or get ignored with no updates what so ever.

DoDa’s Deli delivers top quality Israeli cuisine! Whether hummus, falafel, the excellent Tel Aviv toasts or the chicken schnitzel plate - everything tastes great here! Sometimes less is more, here we only serve filter coffee, but it's one of the best I've ever tried in Berlin! There is also a large selection of teas! The DoDa's Deli was so convincing that I will definitely be one of the regular customers here in the future, despite the long journey from Steglitz-Zehlendorf!

The empty plates speak for themselves. The food was very tasty and the ladies behind the counter were all super nice. We'd love to come back!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both the food (sabich with mallawakh) and the service at this place. We wanted to eat there for quite a while, and finally made it there. Now it's going to be our favourite place in Berlin.

Amazing food, one of my favourite places in fhain. Portions are very generous, no matter what you order you always leave with a full belly. The staff is kind and the atmosphere very friendly and informal. I honestly couldn’t tell you what is my favourite meal because everything from the bread to the salad even it’s just excellent! This is a wonderful deli! I‘ve been there for both their brunch and lunch, and it‘s been excellent every time. Their hummus is excellent, and the schnitzel sandwich is amazing. Do I think about this sandwich regularly? Yes. Yes, I do.

Delicious. Really Home made Food! You (almost) cannot find that any more in Friedrichshain (I know what I say after living here for quite a while). Absolutely recommend, also because of the coziness, good music, wide range of warming exotic tee.

I got the Falafel Sabich plate, and ordered an extra egg with it 😋💪 Falafel is out of this world. I love the whole concept, and the music adds such a nice touch to the dining experience. Love DoDa’s Deli. I’m obsessed with the schnitzel sandwich and home fries. They also sell teas, candied fruits, and spice mixes. All of those are so good. Worth the visit and the taste will keep you coming back. I also love that it is a family run business and you can tell that everyone really cares about the quality of the food and how much you enjoyed the experience.

Excellent dishes! We ordered Shakshuka with Tel Aviv Fries, Doda‘s Sabich Plate, and some garlic in oil via Wolt. It was simply delicious, out of this world. Highly recommended!
