Die Tenne, einfach gut essen... in Potsdam

We've held our Christmas party here several times. A separate room makes it easy to do so without disturbing regular restaurant patrons. The staff does their best to fulfill all requests. The food is delicious, and the selection (vegetarian, various meat dishes) is quite appealing to everyone. We'll definitely be back. ☺️

We were very satisfied. We were able to make a last-minute reservation online and received friendly and courteous service. The food was perfect from start to finish. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We'll gladly come back.

After a hike through the autumnal woods around Neu Fahrland, we stopped at the Tenne restaurant for lunch. We were lucky enough to get two seats, as the restaurant was very busy. When our food arrived, we understood why. Delicious and very generous portions! We'll definitely be back!

Thank you so much for your kind cooperation in all matters. We couldn't be on time initially... but the communication on the phone was perfectly clear, even for someone with hearing difficulties. And my husband received the assistance he needed. The only drawback is that wheelchair access is impossible because there are three steps at the terrace. And there probably isn't enough space for an accessible toilet. But that's practically a must these days, even if wheelchair users probably don't go there very often. The food was very good. I just don't know if the restaurant will be easily accessible by wheelchair in icy or snowy conditions when we have our club event there. The good public transport connections were a great help to us.

We ate there five times in six weeks, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Personally, we felt the fried potatoes could have used bacon and onions, and the duck would have been nicer if the bone had been removed... this is just friendly advice from my husband, a trained chef and cook! We will definitely recommend the Tenne.

Very delicious food and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the draft beer was out, and the apple strudel came with vanilla sauce instead of vanilla ice cream, but I actually preferred it that way. The location is very quiet, and the outdoor area is also lovely. The portion sizes are well-balanced, so you don't overeat, and the food is beautifully presented.

A very nice restaurant with very good food. Unfortunately, dishes were repeatedly cleared away while others were still eating, which we found unpleasant.

We've been regulars at this restaurant since 2009. However, after the change of management, we rarely went there. Our last visit was all the more disappointing, and overall, it was rather negative. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was as pleasant as ever. However, the food was unfortunately not convincing: The fried potatoes were burnt and peppered with black onions. Both the fried potatoes and the salad lacked fresh preparation. Some of the fried potatoes were also half-raw, and the other half was very soft and blandly seasoned. The overall flavor was also lacking. The plates are extremely uncomfortable to eat from. I doubt the aspic was truly homemade—I remember the old taste very well. The remoulade also didn't taste nearly as good as it used to. All in all, the food has deteriorated significantly. While we used to enjoy eating there regularly, we probably won't be coming back after this visit.

Definitely recommend!!! We reserved a table, received a quick response, and hoped for good weather. Everything worked out perfectly. We sat outside, and as soon as we were seated, orders (drinks) began. Meanwhile, we chose food from the menu and ordered immediately after the drinks were handed over. The wait for the food was perfectly acceptable; after all, this isn't a chain restaurant where they just heat things up. The food arrived freshly cooked and was a delight (kudos to the chef). The server was always attentive during our visit and was immediately available for follow-up orders. He kept a close eye on us and the other guests; simply fantastic. We'll be back!!! We were there for dinner on Friday with four people.

We, eight Berliners, were in Neu Fahrland for a weekend and made a dinner reservation. There were ten of us, which was no problem at all for the Tenne team. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. The service was excellent, and we had a wonderful evening. We'd love to come back.

For those who don't expect very good food, the restaurant is OK.

The asparagus was nicely prepared, but almost raw and the hollandaise sauce was a disaster, probably a ready-made sauce. I ate it anyway, after all it cost almost 20 euros. My point about the defect was acknowledged, but that was all. It's a shame because I liked the location and the people were nice.

Everything is fine, card payment or cash payment is possible Even dogs are welcome. Excellent dishes are offered in abundance on oval plates. 😊

We had reserved a table today and during the ordering process the chef pointed out in a very unfriendly and condescending manner that there is usually no starter for the evening, and that next time we would like to come to dinner after 7 p.m. because she had to send away guests who wanted "real" food. I would have liked to order more but after this reprimand I lost my appetite. Telling your guests that you don't get enough sales isn't possible. The seasoned meat was bland, it's a shame but we won't be back. I can't make a recommendation either.

We had made a reservation in the threshing floor and wanted to have a leisurely dinner. Unfortunately, we were treated so condescendingly during the ordering process that we could hardly believe it. The boss said the dishes we ordered weren't high enough for the evening, so she made an exception. Normally "starters" would not be served. The boss said this directly with theatrical politeness and a fake smile. We felt uncomfortable and unwanted after her performance. But the waiters were very accommodating and friendly.

Unfortunately no fries with the currywurst.

Freundliche Bedienung! Das war's aber auch schon. Für die aufgerufenen Preise völlig ungenügendes Essen. Mini Portionen, angebrannte Bratkartoffeln, schwarze Zwiebeln, totgebratenes Fleisch! Champigons aus der Büchse, Salatbeilage ohne Würze. Katoffelpuffer , offensichtlich aus dem Kühlregal oder Trockenpulver angerührt, 3 Löffel Apfelmus , Zucker muß extra geordert werden. Bestellte Getränke in unterschiedlicher Glas Größe erhalten. Alles geschmacklich sehr grenzwertig.

We came across “Die Tenne” by chance. We were lucky and were able to get a table in the cozy restaurant. The food was really tasty, the service was very friendly and everything was just right! When we left all the tables were occupied, apparently the place is popular with many! We'd love to come back!!

We ended up there yesterday by chance and were very pleasantly surprised. No iceberg lettuce, but a variety of leaf lettuce, herbs and sprouts. We had 6 different dishes and all were lovingly prepared and tasty. The service was great. It was definitely not the last time we were there.

Unfortunately I received an incorrectly prepared steak. After I specifically and repeatedly ordered "medium rare", I received a dry piece of meat. Unfortunately, people are incapable of criticism, so I will never eat there again.

I always enjoy visiting Die Tenne. The dishes are all delicious and beautifully presented. I really like the atmosphere (modern, cozy with a touch of rustic). After a walk in and around Potsdam, this is the right place to stop off and fortify yourself.

We were there on Sunday evening around 5 p.m., the restaurant was empty, there were only a few tables occupied, we hadn't made a reservation. welcomed us A waitress (very young girl) was very friendly and took us to a table that was reserved. She said we can sit there despite the reservation. Just as we were about to sit down, a man came rushing up and shouted in very bad German that this table was reserved. The young girl tried to save the situation and explained to the man that she had put us there and it was not our fault. Then she took us to a free table and brought the card. For our taste, the offering on the menu was VERY manageable. In the entrance area there was a large sign advertising "Wiener Schnitzel", which we then ordered twice. Shortly after ordering, the young waitress came back and explained that there was only one schnitzel left. Since we were already "pissed off" anyway, we broke off the whole thing and left. Our money now went to our favorite Croatian restaurant in the city center, where it was again very tasty. Conclusion: The store is absolutely not a recommendation. We don't need to be treated rudely by such a so-called "professional".

I can't really recommend it. The hot chocolate with cream was ordered without cream but paid for anyway. I don't think it's fair. The order wasn't complete, we had to ask again and unfortunately the coffee and chocolate didn't taste good. The cake, on the other hand, was delicious. But it used to be better there. We sat in the large event hall on the left and there were livestock and black spots on the windows and ceilings, which can be counteracted.

We've had a visit to the threshing floor on our list for a long time. Today we did it. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. Our judgment about food is ambivalent. The pork knuckle and tartar sauce were very good. The Wildburger, on the other hand, cannot be recommended. It felt like it was 20 cm high. The buns were grilled too much on the inside, i.e. h. already black. The paddy was about 2cm thick and tasted neutral. Instead of such a thick paddy, two thinner ones would probably be a better idea. The cream cheese slice was also very thick. The ham was more of an artificially pressed ham that couldn't be divided even with a knife. So pork knuckle 5 stars, the burger unfortunately only max. 1 star. Actually, according to the menu, it was supposed to be a currywurst, but it wasn't until I ordered that I received the brief message "We don't have it". The service was nice, but very clumsy, felt like it was the first day.

There was nothing to complain about in terms of service, but there wasn't much to highlight either. The food is good quality but very mainstream. The house lacks individuality and ambience. Priced in the upper midfield. There's nothing really negative. Everything is correct here, but unfortunately only that. You can do it.

Exceptionally great service throughout the entire course. The food was served quickly and the waitress with blonde/white hair checked up on us frequently and was very welcoming towards an infant in our group.

A beautiful restaurant on the edge of the forest on the edge of Potsdam on the B 2. In summer there is also a great beer garden. Beautifully furnished and decorated. There was only one small drawback, the women's toilets. I haven't seen one that small in a long time. But everything else makes up for it. We had cake and currywurst. The cake was a hit, but bring a big appetite. The currywurst was also very good. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll be back. In any case. Thanks.

Nice ambience, reasonable prices and good food

Actually, this should have been a great 4* review. We were there for 6 hours with about 20 relatives to celebrate a very big birthday. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, the staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the cake is still warm on the tray. Unfortunately, the owner ruined our stay in the last few meters with his bad mood and petty manner in the last two hours, so many people felt uncomfortable and left. It's a shame, we now have to look for another location for the two weddings in 2025.

We had been traveling by car for a long time. We knew from previous trips that there was a place here and stopped this time because we were hungry. First impression: The restaurant is located directly on the main road, but a bit off the beaten track and therefore quiet. You can park right in front of the door (although the availability of parking spaces is quite limited). The guest room is rustically furnished and very nice. There is a good menu, not too extensive (a menu that is too full always gives me the impression of "not freshly cooked"). There were a few pasta dishes, fish and two or three meat dishes. That's how I like it. The service was very nice and accommodating (the waiter was - I have no idea - of Turkish, Greek or Italian origin and radiated the wonderful hospitality of these nations.). The food was also very tasty. In terms of price...well, no restaurant is cheap anymore, but it was okay. One point of criticism: We sat at the back of the dining room, where you could see through the windows onto the "beer garden" behind the house. There were various beer tent sets, a grill and several parasols. Everything was completely green and dirty from the trees around. The sight seemed a bit disturbing. Yes, I know: no staff, etc. But you can clear the tables together, take away the umbrellas and sweep over the area with a broom. This takes less than 15 minutes with two men and looks much neater afterwards. But nonetheless: A very good restaurant with recommendations.

The only point of criticism is the price-performance ratio; despite the increased prices, you don't really get much more. A small chicken steak with 4x asparagus with potatoes and vegetables is simply not worth 26 euros, something has to be changed. Otherwise everything was great

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food or the ambience, because right at the entrance I was intercepted and barked at with the words: "It would be nice if I could use the staff entrance". It should be said that all the doors in question were open and that “restaurant” was written on one door. However, the main entrance is not signposted from the parking lot. My original question to the corresponding service lady was actually whether I could get something to eat. It's a shame, I would have liked to try it.

When I tried to reserve a table here by phone, I was asked the irritating question "Are you coming from the clinic?" placed. Later research revealed that this probably meant the nearby rehabilitation clinic. "We are work colleagues." Then the question “Are you all eating?” Now, of course, some people are eating, so we'll meet in a restaurant... but will everyone? I can't comment on that. The boss was then asked. And in fact, the reservation would only have been possible if each guest had a main course. To be honest, I only knew “minimum consumption” from discos. And the fact that an innkeeper is so interested in his guests (and apparently rehabilitators are not welcome at his place) made this location extremely unpleasant to us. P.S. Unfortunately the post has to be given one star. But that's one too many for our taste.
