Very tasty and perfect atmosphere! Recommend!

The best Ukrainian cuisine I've ever eaten! Booked a table in advance, we were greeted by pleasant staff, good service, our waitress was very friendly. First they brought cherry liqueurs as a sign of treat, they are incredible. Next is borscht with lard, garlic, sour cream and donuts, my husband was delighted with it. Stuffed cabbage rolls, incredibly tasty and for me, beef fillet fried medium with potatoes, it was simply divine. For drinks, we chose compote and uzvar, which immediately sent us back to childhood. The interior is discreet, minimalistic, but stylish; in the evening candles were lit and it was very cozy. It’s a pity that my city of Hamburg does not have this restaurant, but I highly recommend visiting it. This restaurant left a very pleasant first impression. Thank you!

Everything is great, Ukrainian-speaking staff, nice interior, cool Ukrainian playlist 🥰 Delicious food, I have never eaten better puree in my life! Overall 11/10 😁 Prices are like in good restaurants: a dish with meat (cutlet/liver) ~ 20 €, dessert "what with cherries" ~ 10 € (highly recommended!), delicious compote 😋 It's cool that such establishments represent us in Berlin ❤️

I didn't know Ukrainian cuisine before and was even more excited - and absolutely loved it! The restaurant combines modern and traditional elements and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service was super friendly and quick. My meal: vegetarian borscht and breaded shrimp with dip – both really delicious! Plus a surprisingly good espresso as the perfect ending. A great experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to discover new tastes!😊

Very tasty borscht and fresh pampushki with lard, chasnik and tsibul. Chicken Kiev is super, I’ve been wanting to go for a long time and came. Very tasty and at the entrance you are immediately greeted with a compliment 🍷

I’ll say in fact, I really liked the liqueur that they were treated to upon boarding. The borscht, lard, and fur coat were wonderful!! but the dumplings with cherries were simply disappointing ((((as if they were bought in (well, what was upsetting was that we waited for them for about 40 minutes....asking the waiters 10 times. Atmospherically, the prices were German)) in general it was pleasant

When we arrived the staff couldn’t find our reservation. Luckily there were spots free, and we got a table. The table next to us the was a staff that was eating and watching videos on her phone and it was disturbing. One person ordered a soup and dumplings and I ordered a main dish. The staff didn’t even ask but brought the dumplings and the soup as the starter. So I have to sit and wait for the main dish to arrive. The food was very okayish/good, nothing special.

I visited this establishment and learned some unpleasant details about its management. Despite the fact that formally the owner is Ukrainian, the actual management is carried out by 2 people, one of whom is Russian. There is also information that employees are arranged unofficially. This raises questions about the transparency of the establishment. I think potential clients and employees should consider these points when choosing a location.

This was my first time trying Ukrainian food. The place is nice and the food is very good. You can speak Ukrainian, German or English. If you really want to try traditional Ukrainian food in Berlin I recommend this place, it was recommended to me by a friend who is Ukrainian.

I leave a rave review about this restaurant! Everything here is perfect: from the warm atmosphere to the dishes that make you come back again and again. Borscht is incredibly tasty, with a rich aroma and homemade notes. Dumplings with potatoes are simply a masterpiece, soft dough and delicate filling. Particularly admirable is the dessert made from puff pastry, custard and cherries - tender, airy and with a perfectly balanced taste! And cherry liqueur is the best end to a meal, sweet with a slight sourness. I recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy real Ukrainian cuisine!

There is never any room, no matter how far in advance you call. Last time they said there was no room on the phone, but we decided to go in and find out, and they seated us at a free table without any problems. P.s Booking a table a few days in advance to come and eat borscht or dumplings at a regular place is interesting) There is nothing like this anywhere in Berlin, I called 5 times and 5 times there are no places either earlier or later. We won't come again. Anywhere, but not here.

Incredible food, friendly service, easily the best ukrainian restaurant in Germany that I‘ve ever been to. We had Christmas dinner there and they treated all guests with kutia and cherry liqueur. Definitely recommending borscht, Chicken Kyiv and Banosh

Very nice location with famous cherry schnapps. I recommend bortsch and Maultaschen. Brauni is also very tasty with ice cream.

The shish kebab was very good. There was also cherry sauce and BBQ sauce. Delicious. I was told that they also have the best borscht here.

Borscht in a very nice dish, as tasty as at home! Mustard is fire! Derunas are both crispy and soft at once. And without sugar. A lot of sausages. The mixture is saturated. Dumplings! We are full and very satisfied! The design is unobtrusive. This place is decorated by Berlin. I will recommend it to my friends as a place that adequately tells about our Ukraine.

The food and the ambience were super delicious. Unfortunately the salmon side dish was changed and my birthday meal wasn't as good as I remembered. Still a great restaurant!

I ordered beef and chicken dumplings and a plate of pickles. The dumplings have good dough, but I didn’t like the filling. Of the pickles, only sauerkraut was good. Instead of a glass of rose wine, they brought me a glass of white.

Probably the best Ukrainian restaurant I’ve been to in Berlin. Friendly service and big portions. Would especially highlight the lamb, banusch and borsch.

I've been there several times and as a somewhat knowledgeable lover of Eastern European cuisine, I can confirm - you won't get a better borscht anywhere in Berlin)) Not only is it beautifully intense in taste and color, truly homemade quality, but it is also served artfully. Just as it should be - with a little salo, a dollop of sour cream and freshly baked (!) Pampuschki, small fragrant rolls. Wonderful in presentation and taste. This is certainly the highlight of the menu - but Vareniki, especially with potatoes, are also highly recommended! The Kiev-style chicken breast, on the other hand, failed to convince me - it's well done, but nothing more. Not exactly a revelation. Ditto Vareniki with cherries - the dough was clearly too thick and the filling no longer worked (which is certainly the case with the hearty Vareniki with potatoes). The be-all and end-all of Ukrainian zakuski (starters) is of course salo, i.e. bacon, plain or mixed. You have to say - the bacon at "Kirschen" is very good. Maybe not top quality - but very good, which is not always the case, neither in the catering industry nor in retail. The homemade/hand-made (or at least seemingly so) sausages of different shapes are also very convincing here. What is clearly missing from the menu are different homemade preparations - apart from the eponymous cherry stuff. This is good, but you can't drink it with every dish. Something heartier, e.g. horseradish or chili-honey mixture, would go much better with all starters or borscht. The service is sometimes overwhelmed and unfortunately has no idea about proper breaks between courses (sic!). I have already had to send back the subsequent dishes that were served almost immediately twice and ask them to be kept warm and sent back in a quarter of an hour. Hopefully my colleagues will learn that... They're nice. All in all, a harmonious and pleasant experience in terms of taste.

The food tastes very good! Veal liver was super tender, which is not easy to do. The portions are not as huge as usual in Berlin, so you can try some of the dishes. Service is very friendly and helpful. I found wine and vodka a bit expensive and many dishes go well with vodka…

The food isn't bad. The prices are 30% too high. The waiters are reasonably pleasant, but the management is a bit disorganized. The toilets are run down. Unfortunately, there are too few alternatives for teaching German friends about Ukrainian cuisine. The bacon should actually come from Ukraine. But it's probably bought from Ledo and it's not authentic. And what is a good Ukrainian restaurant without good bacon? Unfortunately nothing.

The food overall was good. In the end, service was disappointing because the bill suddenly showed a bottle of wine that we hadn't ordered. I want to hope that it was just a mistake, but I won't find out because I only discovered the mistake when I got home.

You get real authentic Ukrainian food here - which you won't find in many places even in Berlin

We celebrated exam day here. There is room for a large company. The menu matches the theme of the establishment. Those who don't eat pork have little choice here.
