I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but the food brought the rating down a bit. Almost every dish was missing salt :/ and the Warenyky dough was a bit rubbery... What I can definitely recommend, though, is the bacon plate (Salo) and the quark pancakes (Syrnyky) - they were great!! Thank you for the excellent service ❤️

We were invited to this restaurant, and before visiting, I, as always, began to read the reviews. Of course, I first review the negative ones to prepare for possible surprises. Some comments seem unfounded: about the originality of the dishes or the taste - it is always subjective After visiting, I was left in true delight. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, Ukrainian music creates a mood, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. As for the prices - they are absolutely justified. A QUALITY PRODUCT CANNOT BE CHEAP: if the price somewhere is too low, it is either questionable quality or an unfair approach. There were four of us. The dishes were served gradually, as they were prepared - and this is right, because everything is prepared from fresh products. We ordered different dishes, from the seasonal menu, salads, cold appetizers. Each dish was served in a special dish, selected with love and taste. It feels like the soul has been put into both the food and its presentation. The drinks — compote and uzvar — are delicious, homemade, like in childhood. My conclusion: This restaurant is not for those who want "quick and cheap." This is a place for those who know how to enjoy food, details, atmosphere, and Ukrainian hospitality.

A Ukrainian restaurant – with cherries. The food is great. Whether it's spicy and juicy chicken pieces or perfectly cooked steak, lamb, or anything else, everything was delicious. The house-made cherry sauce (with or without red wine) was outstanding and tasted good with all dishes. The varenyky with white cabbage or red beets were also excellent. Simply delicious. The service is attentive and very friendly. Slight language barriers are quickly overcome. The ambiance is rather neutral. However, Ukrainian music and the waiters' clothing add flair to the entire restaurant. The restrooms are fine, just a bit deep.

Delicious Ukrainian food - borscht, varenyky with potatoes with fried onion pieces on top, syrnyky, a signature dessert with cherries all were excellent. We got a light cherry liquor as a compliment, it was also tasty. The restaurant is located on a beautiful quiet street in Charlottenburg, great for sitting outside. Inside area is also nice and cozy. I visited the place already twice and would come back again!

We specifically wanted to visit a Ukrainian restaurant that day, and our choice was not random. We were looking for a place with authentic Ukrainian atmosphere, style, and decor — and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy, with dimmed lighting and Ukrainian music playing in the background, which we really liked. The waiters wore uniforms with traditional Ukrainian embroidery (vyshyvanka), and the staff overall was very friendly. We were served by a young woman — unfortunately, I didn’t ask her name — but she was very kind and welcoming. Our food arrived relatively quickly, and once we finished our first course, the main dishes followed soon after. In general, we enjoyed everything. The only downside was that the food was not very hot — just warm. It would have been better if the borscht and bograch were served really hot, as they are soups. But I understand why it happened: it was a Monday evening, the place was almost full, and there were only two waitresses working, so they were clearly doing their best. On the bright side, the full house shows how popular and tasty the food is here. Overall, I really liked the place and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Great place to have a dinner with friends and enjoy authentic Ukrainian cuisine. Proper bortsh, varenyky and other dishes. Especially recommend to take a meat plates to share, they are of a big size and present a good variety of options.

We came in and immediately offered to choose a place, although there were many reserved pillars. We sat down, pleasant sofas, the Menu, looked and chose Ukrainian Borscht, with sour cream, salad, dumplings, also with sour cream, and dessert dumplings with cherries!!!! Oh, everything is so delicious and glasses of cherry liqueur, This is a fairy tale!!! And the name KIRSHEN, these delicacies are not only delicious to eat and delight the ears!!! And once you come here, you understand that a Circassian woman with a cherry is here!!! IN KIRSCHEN!!!!! this is brilliant!!!

Yesterday we celebrated my husband's birthday, all the dishes were very tasty, starting with salads, salt and kebabs, and ending with soup. We are very satisfied, thank you very much for the mood and atmosphere. We will definitely come back to you again.

We arrived on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. There were two free tables, but they were reserved. Luckily they still found a place for us, which made us very happy. We ordered a children's skewer with mashed potatoes, which my child ate with great appetite. I took a Bogrács and was already full of the soup. I was a little disappointed with the drinks: the compote and the cherry spritz tasted watered down and lacked the intense flavor that I'm used to. Nevertheless, overall everything was great! The staff was more than friendly, so of course I give it 5 stars. A small wish: The cherry spritz for 12 euros could have a more intense taste - less Prosecco, more cherry liqueur. After all, this is your flagship!

We finally visited our Ukrainian restaurant "The one with cherries" in Berlin - and it was a real gastronomic visit home! The dishes were not just tasty, but really skillfully prepared. The quality of presentation is at the highest level, every detail is thought out. The taste is as if you have really visited Ukraine. It cannot be compared with typical German establishments: the atmosphere, service and cuisine are all superior. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to eat delicious, healthy and refined food. I will definitely come back more than once!

You are not noticed, you are not asked whether you have already chosen a dish or not. We waited a long time for food afterwards. One person got three dishes, the others waited until they got at least one. Although the food tasted quite good, it was also well prepared

The best Ukrainian cuisine I've ever eaten! Booked a table in advance, we were greeted by pleasant staff, good service, our waitress was very friendly. First they brought cherry liqueurs as a sign of treat, they are incredible. Next is borscht with lard, garlic, sour cream and donuts, my husband was delighted with it. Stuffed cabbage rolls, incredibly tasty and for me, beef fillet fried medium with potatoes, it was simply divine. For drinks, we chose compote and uzvar, which immediately sent us back to childhood. The interior is discreet, minimalistic, but stylish; in the evening candles were lit and it was very cozy. It’s a pity that my city of Hamburg does not have this restaurant, but I highly recommend visiting it. This restaurant left a very pleasant first impression. Thank you!

I didn't know Ukrainian cuisine before and was even more excited - and absolutely loved it! The restaurant combines modern and traditional elements and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The service was super friendly and quick. My meal: vegetarian borscht and breaded shrimp with dip – both really delicious! Plus a surprisingly good espresso as the perfect ending. A great experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to discover new tastes!😊

When we arrived the staff couldn’t find our reservation. Luckily there were spots free, and we got a table. The table next to us the was a staff that was eating and watching videos on her phone and it was disturbing. One person ordered a soup and dumplings and I ordered a main dish. The staff didn’t even ask but brought the dumplings and the soup as the starter. So I have to sit and wait for the main dish to arrive. The food was very okayish/good, nothing special.

I visited this establishment and learned some unpleasant details about its management. Despite the fact that formally the owner is Ukrainian, the actual management is carried out by 2 people, one of whom is Russian. There is also information that employees are arranged unofficially. This raises questions about the transparency of the establishment. I think potential clients and employees should consider these points when choosing a location.

I leave a rave review about this restaurant! Everything here is perfect: from the warm atmosphere to the dishes that make you come back again and again. Borscht is incredibly tasty, with a rich aroma and homemade notes. Dumplings with potatoes are simply a masterpiece, soft dough and delicate filling. Particularly admirable is the dessert made from puff pastry, custard and cherries - tender, airy and with a perfectly balanced taste! And cherry liqueur is the best end to a meal, sweet with a slight sourness. I recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy real Ukrainian cuisine!

There is never any room, no matter how far in advance you call. Last time they said there was no room on the phone, but we decided to go in and find out, and they seated us at a free table without any problems. P.s Booking a table a few days in advance to come and eat borscht or dumplings at a regular place is interesting) There is nothing like this anywhere in Berlin, I called 5 times and 5 times there are no places either earlier or later. We won't come again. Anywhere, but not here.
