I liked the “old” map, but the new one is amazing. Fresh bread, delicious salad, perfectly seasoned meat and a really reasonable portion awaited us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Price/performance is still very important here. An absolute extra win for Emden!

We were there yesterday evening, and as soon as you enter the place you immediately notice the simple yet beautiful ambience. The warmth of the service staff was evident when greeting us. The waiting time wasn't too long even though every order was freshly prepared. The portion size is just wow, huge portions. The taste is really excellent. The service was also great, someone regularly came to ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. And at the end there was a delicious chai. Absolutely recommended, we will definitely come again.

We had dinner there yesterday and were totally surprised when we saw the plates. The portion is huge and very appealing. The taste of the food is a 10 out of 10. The service was extremely satisfactory, the waitress often came to our table to ask if everything was to our satisfaction. The price is also completely reasonable and, in my opinion, justified for this portion size. The atmosphere is super cozy, so you'll enjoy sitting there. It was a great experience and we will definitely come back.

What a culinary experience, a dream come true. The food is fantastic. Everything is freshly prepared and prepared with love and an eye for detail. The quality of the meat is top notch. I have rarely eaten so well. The freshly baked "balloon bread" resembles a cloud, with sesame and black cumin. The hummus, super flavorful and very creamy. The various sauces and dips are indescribably good, fresh and homemade. The tzatziki with dill rounded off perfectly. I can't stop raving about it. The mixed grill plate is the holy grail when it comes to meat, a little bit of everything but grilled to perfection. The charcoal grill brings a lot of flavor. The grilled vegetables with good roasted flavors, as they should be. The service is extremely friendly, attentive and fast. Every possible wish will be fulfilled. The ambience is very nice. The open window front is an eye-catcher and ensures perfect fresh air in the restaurant. The restaurant is very well maintained and meticulously clean. Full marks in all criteria, but I'm happy to drive 30 kilometers to eat.

When the store opened I think about a year ago, the concept was met with a lot of surprise in Emden: Pizza and burgers are already available on every corner here. The operators also seem to have noticed this, so they are now consistently focusing on authentic Turkish cuisine beyond kebab and lahmacun. And what should I say? This is exactly the right approach! Finally there are sensible pide boats, grilled kebabs, lamb and minced meat, hummus, atom and bulgur etc etc etc in East Frisia too. The food is prepared on the charcoal grill for everyone to see. There are only some compromises for the ambience. The store was previously a showroom for a car dealer in a desolate commercial area, but inside they have set up a fairly cozy restaurant with large tables. It also seemed very family-friendly to me with a play area. I would love to go there again and eat my way up and down the menu. A note: The menu is (as far as I can tell as a non-Muslim) halal - that is, it adheres to religious food prohibitions. This also applies to alcohol. That's why you get a glass of tea as a "bouncer"...

Super great restaurant. Authentic, very nice and friendly staff and the food was very good. Even without a reservation we were happily offered a table. Recommended is the No. 7 starter and No. 34 main course, all selectable for the number of people!!

For the main course, each of us chose a different dish - I chose Lahmacun, which was impressive both visually and in taste and is highly recommended. At the end we were offered traditional Turkish tea, which we enjoyed with delicious baklava. The tea was aromatic and the baklava was perfectly prepared. A big advantage of the restaurant is the ability to pay by card. A small disadvantage is the bright lighting in the kitchen, but it has the advantage that you can watch the chefs preparing the food. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are moderate – we paid a total of €80 for starters, main courses and desserts, which is reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food.

We ate there on vacation with 2 small children. We actually avoid going out to eat with our very active children. But I was absolutely thrilled. Such a great restaurant with a lovingly furnished play area. And the employees were all 100 percent child-friendly. There was no sense of stress or annoyance. In addition, the food was super tasty. Service: Attentive from start to finish, welcoming and very friendly, patiently answers questions with pleasure and there was also an explanation about how to enjoy the food. We thought that was great. Food: Iskender Kebap, Kuzu Sis, Ciger Kebap as the main course. There was Turkish tea and freshly baked flatbread with two different dips as a greeting from the kitchen. Everything was beautifully prepared and very, very tasty. The meat was of very good quality and grilled tender and juicy, the side salad with the lamb dishes was crunchy and made with love (freshly cut vegetables, pomegranate seeds, well-seasoned dressing with herbs on top, not as I usually know it, in vinegar or any other Yoghurt sauce drowned out of the bag, lol), fries and rice on point. Everything was fine for us and enough to fill us up. The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable! The restaurant is very spacious due to its size and probably a bit noisy when it is full, but we were there during the quiet lunchtime and found the atmosphere very cozy and pleasant. We'd love to come back.

Very chic shop, has nothing to do with a kebab shop. Nice menu with plenty of choice, no alcohol for religious reasons. The staff, the junior manager served us, were very friendly. You feel welcome there. We all had kebab plates. Not minced meat, but nice steak meat,... damn tasty. I think the prices are reasonable because the ambience, quality of meat, etc. also have to be taken into account. I'll definitely come back.

We spontaneously picked up food there last night. We received a very friendly welcome, we were offered a seat and given menus straight away. Our junior got a lollipop to bridge the waiting time. We ordered a kebab platter for two people and fries for Junior. The food was delivered quickly, about 15-20 minutes. When we got home, the meat etc. were still warm. It was very delicious. The hot sauce was really hot, so great. Salad and tzatziki were delicious and fresh. The meat was very delicate and not overly seasoned. The rice wasn't mushy and was delicious. The quantity was more than sufficient. We would stop here again. We found the atmosphere very good, cozy. Far from a kebab shop. We particularly liked that you can get authentic food here and not just German-style kebabs and the like.

Had dinner there in the early evening, a very clean and modern restaurant. The service was very accommodating and polite. We ordered the Millis Karisik Izgara plate there for two people. I haven't eaten so well in a long time, everything was fresh and everything was served great. We will recommend Millis to everyone we know and will eat there more often now.

Top stop when it comes to Turkish specialties. I got lamb from the grill with rice. First cream, one mild, the other spicy. Very good atmosphere and nice people. Millie's brother has it coming. Also a children's corner and clean and people toilets. Unfortunately just a bit remote in my opinion. Price average, but very good quality. There was also free tea to wait on top of it 👍

Ok, let's do one thing at a time :) 1. FOOD: The food was standard Döneria food, not particularly great, not bad. Hence four stars. The pizzas were great, as were the kebabs. Everything Tutti. The drinks were also good. Of course there was no alcohol, as always. But I have to deduct another point for the “hot sauce”. I completely understand that you had a bad experience when you put the right hot sauce on the kebab and pizza Diavolo/Diabolo/other-spicy-pizza-insert-here. But if the customer asks you for hot sauce again afterwards, give it to him. So that he cries. Pls. Other: The atmosphere is nice. However, the door to the men's toilet never closed properly and the masters of creation didn't even think about closing it behind them. This meant you could watch them. Therefore, an automatic door closer would be an appetizing investment. Plus it was a bit too loud for me. The open kitchen system is charming, but still needs to be expanded and noise-dampened. Then it would be great. Because the furnishings are totally charming and well thought out. There's also the children's area at the back - I'm thrilled. Great thought! I spontaneously drove past the restaurant and stopped straight away. I have to honestly say that it was definitely worth it and that the food was simply delicious! While we were preparing our order, we were also given a very tasty starter consisting of salads, dips and freshly baked bread. The staff is very accommodating and entertaining 👍 On top of all this, this store also offers a very nice atmosphere to enjoy a great evening with friends or family! Keep it up 👏 Definitely recommendable!!!

The staff was very friendly and tried very hard. Our daughter was allowed to snack from us. The food was super tasty and plentiful for everyone. The play area for children makes it more relaxed for parents. It was a great visit. We will be back definitely.

We were there yesterday and had a grill plate for 2 people and pasta with doner meat. Everything was very tasty, the service and the ambience were also great. I can't understand the bad reviews here, some of them are completely exaggerated or given for irrelevant things. I recommend eating it in a restaurant, then everything is fresh and hot as it should be. If we're in the area again we'll come back.

We've been coming here for weeks, both for lunch and dinner. An absolute highlight in Emden. We love Turkish cuisine and it exceeds our expectations. Top meat quality, unusual side dishes and dips and you don't even have to talk about the service. Super attentive!

We dined with you today on Easter Monday with 5 people. The atmosphere is great, the friendliness and you can tell if you need anything, they are right there. We had kebab plates, sucuk pizza, chicken plates and a grill plate. I think the price ratio for the large plates is reasonable and very 😋 tasty. Will definitely come back again.

The food was good and authentic. When we ordered there was bread and dips on the table. The service was friendly but forgetful. We asked twice for the sauces we ordered, but didn't get them. During dessert we were asked twice if we would like tea with it, but we didn't receive it either. In the end we were also overcharged for one meal, which we only noticed later. But we got the money back without any problems. Conclusion: I'd be happy to come back to pick it up, but we won't eat there again.

We have been here several times. There was always a great, very friendly team on site and the map was appropriate to the place and location. On Friday we were there again and noticed that the map had changed a lot. The employee told us that they can now finally grill on an open fire as they had been planning since the beginning. For us that was less than ideal. The grill plate for 2 people cost around 52 euros and came with a lot of bread to fill you up. There were 2 pepperoni, 2 pieces of tomato and a lot of onions used. On the platter was poultry (according to our understanding and taste and consistency it was more like “pressed meat”), a small piece of lamb chop and some beef or veal. First there was a very vinegar-heavy salad - also with bread and two dips. The meat was quite moderately seasoned and wasn't very convincing - the salad was very acidic and had far too much acid. The dips were good but not exceptional either. There was simply a lack of something ‘special’ or ‘unique’. That was probably the special insight: beforehand we were completely satisfied and also thought it tasted great. Apart from the fact that many dishes are no longer offered, the remaining ones are unfortunately not nearly as tasty. During our visit, two other couples left the restaurant without having accomplished anything because they could no longer find the dishes they wanted on the menu. The service was again incredibly friendly and kind - alcohol is still not an issue, but there is non-alcoholic Bitburger and non-alcoholic Weizen to choose from. The toilets are very clean and the restaurant is otherwise well maintained - but is still very “canteen-like”. After our current visit, we are clear that the menu in this form has little in store for us. Many thanks to the team for the numerous pleasant visits and the great service!

We were always very enthusiastic about the restaurant Die Millis. Since the menu has now unfortunately changed COMPLETELY, this was our last visit there as it no longer suits our taste. Unfortunately there are very few dishes left. There are no burgers, no schnitzels, no real pizzas and, in my opinion, no real pasta dishes anymore. Unfortunately, the pictures of the food that were posted here in the reviews are no longer offered there. It's a shame because Die Millis was one of our favorites.

Very friendly service, service and the food was great.

I ordered lunch for 14 people to pick up. There were various dishes: burgers, pizza, pasta dishes, kebabs, chicken dishes, salads, schnitzels... The entire meal was ready almost on time, as ordered. The short waiting time of around 5 minutes is fine. Food was well packaged, portions were plentiful and everyone involved enjoyed it. There is nothing to complain about in terms of price, although it should be noted that the prices for food sold away from home are around 1.50 euros to 2.00 euros cheaper per dish than when eaten in-house. I will therefore visit Milli's restaurant more often in the future.

There is everything for young and old at fair prices and large portions. All in all, a super clean shop where the food is delicious and it's fun to chat with the staff. I can only recommend the restaurant

Four of us ate here as a family today. The first impression when we entered the restaurant was that it was comfortably furnished. We received a very friendly welcome and the staff were all very friendly to us. We were then able to choose a table from those that were still available. The food, we had spaghetti Bolognese and three burgers with fries, was very appetizingly prepared and really tasty and recommended! We found it to be reasonably priced too. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

We were there last weekend and I have to say the food was excellent. It was served hot and tasted wonderful. The price is also completely acceptable for the portion(s). When it comes to the ambience, I have to say that it looks very nice, although it is a bit too dark depending on where you sit. A small table lamp would have been nice. The benches are a bit low compared to the table, which might cause problems for smaller people. Still a great restaurant, which proves its child-friendliness with a great play area! It was busy, so it was difficult to find a free parking space outside. But that also speaks for itself (positively). The service was quick, friendly and thought of everything. The only drawback is that she cleared away the empty plates even though I hadn't finished eating yet. Unfortunately there are no alcoholic drinks, but anyone who can read has a clear advantage - our mistake. Otherwise all in all a 9 out of 10 :)

Unfortunately, my husband is too good-natured because I definitely wouldn't have paid for this cappuccino at this horrendous price! 100ml for 4 euros, not even the coffee from our favorite cafe that roasts and processes its own beans is that expensive! On top of that, we paid 19 percent VAT even though the coffee was to-go... very ominous techniques to make as much profit as possible. Stay away from this store. When I look at the pictures of the food here, I'm glad that we were only ripped off with the coffee, because it doesn't look like high-quality food that was processed by a trained person. It's all just window dressing and just another kebab shop in sheep's clothing in Emden!
