Die Millis Emden in Emden

Wir haben auf der Durchreise angehalten und waren sehr glücklich mit der Entscheidung. Sehr nette Bedienung, sehr sehr leckeres Essen, kurz um es war alles toll. Als persönliche Anmerkung. Da ich sehr viele Unverträglichkeiten und allergische Reaktionen habe, vorallem auch auf zusatzstoffe, bin ich sehr begeistert. Seid langem mal wieder ein Restaurant wo ich garnicht reagiert habe. Also auch hier großes Lob.

Wir waren heute Nachmittag das erste mal dort. Super tolles Ambiente, alle sehr nett und wahnsinnig gutes und leckeres Essen! Wir waren mir unseren Kindern da - die Spielecke ist super und erleichtert Eltern definitiv zu 100% den Aufenthalt in einem Restaurant. Wir konnten stressfrei auf das Essen warten, in Ruhe das Essen genießen und sogar danach noch eine Weile sitzen bleiben. Vielen lieben Dank!

Konkurrenzlos, aber nicht perfekt

Wir waren auf unserer Rundreise spontan hier eingekehrt. Es ist alles super sauber und modern. Diese Tatsache sticht direkt in das Auge. Man wird Nett empfangen und der Kellner kümmerte sich stetig sehr gut um uns und hat uns zu keiner Zeit vor leeren Gläsern sitzen lassen. 1a! Das Essen war schmackhaft, die Portionen sehr gut und es wird tatsächlich indoor auf Holzkohl gegrillt! Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und der Preis angemessen! Keine Kritikpunkte! Weiter so!

Service was prompt, and if anything was missing, help was quickly provided. Not all staff members were well-informed about the ingredients of the food.

The prices are incomprehensible and far too overpriced compared to other restaurants of this type; it's outrageously excessive and unfortunately not recommended.

Due to our busy work schedule today, we had to break our fast in Emden. We came to this address, which we found by chance online, and it was the best meal we've ever had in Emden.

We went to Millis today, Christmas Day, and it was okay. The atmosphere was far too noisy with children screaming, making conversation difficult. Some people liked our food, others didn't. The service was very friendly and efficient.

We spontaneously decided to eat there. The service was incredibly attentive. The food was excellent both visually and in terms of taste.

What a culinary experience, a dream come true! The food is fantastic. Everything is freshly prepared and presented with love and attention to detail. The quality of the meat is top-notch. I have rarely eaten so well. The freshly baked "balloon bread" is like a cloud, with sesame and nigella seeds. The hummus is perfectly seasoned and incredibly creamy. The various sauces and dips are indescribably good, fresh, and homemade. The tzatziki, finished with dill, is perfect. I can't stop raving about it. The mixed grill platter is the holy grail when it comes to meat—a little bit of everything, but grilled to perfection. The charcoal grill adds a lot of flavor. The grilled vegetables have wonderful roasted aromas, just as they should be. The service is extremely friendly, attentive, and quick. Every possible request is fulfilled. The ambiance is lovely. The open window front is a real eye-catcher and ensures perfectly fresh air in the restaurant. The restaurant is very well-maintained and meticulously clean. The mixed grill platter is the holy grail when it comes to meat—a little bit of everything, but grilled to perfection. Full marks in all criteria; I'm happy to drive 30 kilometers for a meal.

As a restaurateur, I can only say: 100%! Everything is just right here – super fresh, authentic, and prepared with lots of love. You can immediately tell that the professionals are at work here. My favorite: Adana skewer – so good, you simply can't find it anywhere else in our area! 🔥👏

We decided to eat here quite by chance. It was the right decision. I'd say it's an upscale kebab shop. The ambiance is chic and modern. The staff is friendly, fast, and helpful. And the kebab plate is amazing. I have to admit, reading the menu, it seems expensive, but when the food arrives, it's worth every cent. We'll definitely be back.

Super delicious food and definitely not comparable to a kebab shop. The meat is grilled over open charcoal, which you can taste. The portions are generously sized. We'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, Millie's wasn't to my taste. I ordered a Pizza Diavolo and my neighbor a morzzarella pizza, and both pizzas were very flavorless. The crust was great, but the rest of the food had a lot of room for improvement. The spicy pizza wasn't spicy at all. We also tried the doner kebab plate, but unfortunately, the same problem arose: the meat was barely seasoned and very dry. For that price, I was hoping for more, as most doner kebab shops have better quality. The service was slow, but that was due to the high volume of customers, and the ambiance was quite nice, nothing special. The restrooms were very nice, but that's the only positive thing. It's not a bad restaurant per se, but the prices are way too high.

There were only two or three tables occupied! We asked for a table and were only given one in the middle! All the other tables were reserved! No further explanation, which we found very strange! Unfortunately, they only serve non-alcoholic drinks here!

I don't understand the good reviews here. If you like kebabs, pizza, or mixed grills, this is the place for you. However, this has little to do with a restaurant; it's mostly convenience food, with rather low-end flavors. No alcohol served! Only non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks. Concept or no license?? Prices are rather high, though. We wouldn't go back.

The only thing I would criticize is the lack of seasoning in almost everything. The ezme wasn't spicy enough, and the atom, or cacik, had far too little garlic in it. The bread was sensational. The Adana kebab wasn't spicy enough, but it was okay. The salad that came before the main course was sensational. I would definitely go back, and if they increase the seasoning, which is what the cuisine relies on, it would be the best oriental restaurant in the area.

You get bread, tzatziki, and ezme to start. We had the hand-held skewer and the 2-person platter. The food was delicious and the service was very fast.

An absolute recommendation! I've rarely eaten as well in a restaurant as I did here. The starter alone – fresh flatbread, an excellent salad, and two delicious dips – was a real highlight. The main course even surpassed the whole thing in terms of flavor. The service is attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The prices are moderate and absolutely appropriate for the quality. To finish off, we were treated to a delicious çay from the house – a very nice gesture. It's important to note: For religious reasons, this restaurant does not serve alcohol. This should simply be respected – it in no way detracts from the overall successful culinary experience. If you want to get to know Kurdish cuisine or simply enjoy excellent food, this is the place for you!

Unfortunately, you can't order wine with this delicious meal. Religious ideology is being forced upon you. What a pity!

Once and never again We were there shortly before 9:30 and were seated. We were told to hurry when ordering. It would have been better to leave at that time. The food that arrived was delicious. During our meal, a rush and noise began. You could really tell you weren't welcome. Windows were demonstratively closed, and people were constantly checking to see if we were eating quickly enough. When we paid, they acted as if they couldn't understand. You learn from this: either avoid it or don't go there an hour before closing time.

The best kebab on a plate i have eten in Germany. Everything was fresh. No alcohol witch i think is ok. It's a Turkish place, so obviously, no alcohol. Anyway. Brilliant place with very good food.

The doner kebab was okay for Emden standards. There was too much sauce at the end, and the meat was a bit tough, but it was okay. What I don't understand, however, is that they advertise Kebab House outside and online, but you can't eat your doner there. Besides me, there were two tables occupied by one person each, so the place was practically empty. I definitely won't be coming back :)

This is my fourth time here, and I've been pleasantly surprised every time! I'll definitely be going back a few more times. I think everyone should at least give this restaurant a chance, because I'm convinced it won't be the first or last time. Especially as a Muslim, you feel very comfortable because you can eat and drink anything you want without any problems, as they don't serve pork or alcohol. I definitely recommend it!

I've been there several times now and I'm thrilled. Stone-baked bread as a starter with various dips, the main course a mixed grill platter for four people (we were five). Everyone also had a drink. And to finish, Turkish tea.
