Quite a funny idea to turn an old butcher shop into a restaurant. The service was very good and also very friendly. The atmosphere was also right. I was somehow hoping for a little more from the club sandwich. Maybe I had too high expectations based on what I heard, but I was really disappointed with the meat patty in the sandwich. It felt like I was biting into rubber in my mouth. Oh yes, my special request to leave out the tomatoes was also forgotten. All in all it was ok, but nothing overwhelming.

Most were satisfied. However, I was a bit disappointed because the fish and chips were made with salmon.

The food was delicious and the salad portion was large. The employees are nice

Food is really delicious there! Highly recommended. I find it really crazy these days that you can only pay with a card if you spend more than €20. In France I was able to pay with Visa on the market 30 years ago. Strange behavior...

We had breakfast there on a Sunday. The location is perfect, it's nice to sit outside and the food was tasty too. The salmon bagel with cream cheese was delicious. Likewise the pancakes with blueberries. However, we waited relatively long to be able to order (approx. 20 minutes) and unfortunately we also had to wait a long time for the food. We would come again. :)

September 2024: The butcher shop offers a really good breakfast with a large selection. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside very comfortably. We were immediately served in a very friendly manner. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. We'll be back soon.

This is a place in Stuttgart West like no other! You feel like you're on vacation! Dogs are welcome! As soon as a service worker sees a dog, a drinking bowl is immediately delivered to him.

The service is always very friendly and accommodating. I can't eat everything and never once did I feel impatient. The food is always delicious and the portions are usually sufficient. Today it was a bit light (fish and chips), but that was the first time in dozens of visits. We are always completely satisfied. There is a small reduction in the ambience. It's very tight and extremely loud inside. Outside you can easily sit on beer benches on the hillside and there are quite a few wasps. Smoking cups were placed on some tables (we suspect for the wasps - we didn't get any), but later saw that all the remaining drinks (with sugar and everything) were poured into the strip of grass right next to the beer benches. That's not quite as clever. But all in all we really enjoy going there, whether for breakfast or at any other time of day. It's probably the same for some others, because you often can't get a seat in the evenings and winter because it's so full. We continue to try regularly to get a place and in the summer it still worked.

I didn't eat but you can't rate the drink. The star therefore stands for the drink. Metzgerei Spritz and the Sarti Spritz were with alcohol???? Where please? Absolutely watery. The ice cubes had already melted, which is a clear sign that it had been sitting on the counter for a long time. With all the understanding and patience in the world, an hour's wait is a very long time. The way the uncouth gentleman with the long hair “drawn my attention” to the fact that there is a waiting list is bottom drawer. The small sign is not readable if you come from the side of the benches. The staff is completely overwhelmed.

Coffee is great. However, the avocado bread and scrambled eggs have become significantly smaller and no longer taste as good as in previous years. In the avocado bread, some of the avocado has been replaced with cucumber and no cranberries are put on it. Due to the lack of staff on weekends, the bread is no longer roasted long enough. When it comes to scrambled eggs there are only two (?) eggs instead of three and less bread. Due to the lack of staff, service has deteriorated. A friend of mine always swapped the muesli for her vegetarian breakfast with the muesli from her non-vegetarian breakfast. This has been possible for years, but this time it was “not possible”. The shop was one of my favorite places in Stuttgart, but currently it's just OK.

Simply a great place to go for breakfast in West ☀️ My scrambled eggs with feta and tomato were delicious, as was the fruit salad with yogurt. We didn't have a reservation, but after a bit of a wait they found a nice spot for us outside. The service is great, our waitress was totally friendly and attentive.

We found the restaurant nicely decorated but a bit too dark. The food (brunch) was really good. Very nice to look at and very tasty. The portions were sufficiently large. For us the price-performance ratio was satisfactory.

Despite the noise, we always had a good breakfast here and decided to have breakfast here the day after the wedding with the friends who had traveled. Of course we had made reservations in advance for 20 people. The owner pushed back the time, which we agreed to. When the time came and we stood in front of the restaurant, we were told that the seats had been taken. We weren't late or anything like that that would make sense to me, but they just left us standing in front of the door with 20 people.

I was at an architectural office nearby today and ended up in the butcher shop by chance. - First of all: Great location, nice people, special flair! I will come back and try the lunch menu.

very nice outside dining area. good and versatile menu. food was tasty, yet not totally outstanding. staff was very friendly! we deducted one point since the minimum spend for card payment was 20€, which we felt like is a quite obsolete and outdated rule.

My favorite place in Stuttgart West💚 A super cozy and individual ambience inside, in the spacious outdoor area with old building charm and under trees. I love spending time here with delicious, fresh food and great drinks. Friendly staff and very warm owners make the butcher shop a feel-good place. The daily changing lunch menu offers a large selection at a top price-performance ratio! An absolute heartfelt recommendation💚

Largest juice shop in all of Stuttgart. I waited 50 minutes for a simple baked cheese sandwich. Coffee only came after 25 minutes. Not recommended!!!!!

Saturday breakfast a la carte. Was lush. Price performance absolutely okay. Plan to wait because it's full and popular. The staff is extremely hard-working and motivated, friendly... but sometimes it reaches its limits when it's full. As for food...it's.tasty, yes definitely. But it should be a mix of cheaply bought ingredients and home-made things. So compote, scrambled eggs, muesli, everything is great. The cheese again...well... I can recommend it at any time if you're looking for breakfast on the weekend. Sorry, just deducted another star...have been waiting for 15 minutes to cash in. 😭

Today 25.5: I come to this place, the waitress is talking all the time (I'm waiting 15min already and she's still there without coming to me). She comes to me after going to another table that came after me. She says the kitchen is closed. I order a beer. 30min later a group of Germans come and they get exactly the food they ordered even when the "kitchen was closed". Go Germany!!! I asked her about this and she says "oh, for sure you didn't get me right" - sure my German is too bad for her.

I was surprised when I received the large fitness plate. This plate tasted good. We'd love to come back.

I currently recommend avoiding the butcher shop on at least Sundays if you don't have much time, as they obviously have a staff shortage and it takes almost an hour to get your food or drink. We often go to the butcher shop. This time with the family for breakfast. Unfortunately the service today was catastrophic. Since we were sitting right at the bar, we were able to witness the drama straight away. All the service staff preferred to loudly and extensively complain about the number of guests and the incompetence of their new (?) colleague and discuss why her behavior was totally out of place, instead of proactively ensuring that drinks and food go out or that the guests eat them point out that it takes a little (much) longer. Some guests even left because they waited too long for their food and ran out of time. You could see from my white sausage that the food had been sitting around for a while. Which had different colors at the top and bottom. The "fresh pretzel" according to the menu was dry and hard. In my opinion, the complaint would have been... Nothing helped because I didn't want to wait another hour for a new meal and of course I was annoyed by the general situation! But the service didn't explicitly ask whether we were satisfied 🤷🏼 We like going to the butcher shop. Especially in summer. I would like to come again. I wish the service here would improve. Because the food (apart from the pretzel) is really delicious. Currently I would only go here with a lot of time and patience.

Very nicely designed location, there were 6 of us and we had reserved a table outside. And the conditions were very good and very friendly. The food was also great for everyone.

The food is great, but the waitresses are very, very unfriendly. We came in, stood in the entrance for about 15 minutes, and no waitress even signaled to us that she had even seen us. I greeted a waitress as she came in to make our presence known - no response or reaction. Then after 15 minutes I went to the counter and let them know, but we were turned away and told to wait at the entrance because someone would come soon (that happened after another 10 minutes). As I said, the food was really tasty, but the service needs to be worked on.

Hippes, kleines Lokal, eng bestuhlt, dunkel und m.E. laut. Man sitzt eher ungemütlich und eng aufeinander. Der Service ist freundlich Die Speisekarte liest sich gut, das Essen ist allerdings eher mäßig. An unserem Tisch wurde fish&chips und Steak Sandwich bestellt. Beide Gerichte sehr fettig. Die bestellten Salate waren kaum abgemacht und wenig inspiriert. Zu viert mit 4 Prosecco, 2 Bier und Wasser 130€

Very tasty breakfast. The cappuccino is particularly recommended :-) You can sit outside in the sun. The acoustics inside are always very loud when it's full, but it's super comfortable to sit in. Always worth a visit and breakfast!

We went there for breakfast on Sunday. We were lucky to get a seat inside where everything was packed. The service was a bit stressed because it was overloaded. After ordering, the drinks came immediately, but the food took a long time. We had a French breakfast and a salmon bagel, both really tasty and worth the money. That's why we'd love to come back!

I was here with my girlfriend for a late breakfast. There is something for every taste.👌 I had the English breakfast and freshly squeezed AOK juice. Everything tasted really good. Personally, the portion was huge for me. 😅 Price performance fits! The atmosphere was cozy with music and warmth. Unfortunately we had to sit outside because there was no space inside. Outside is not so nice as there is some construction work going on. Employees were on first name terms and very nice 😊👍

Come 2:40 p.m. sit down at a table that was assigned to me. Will be moved 2 minutes later because the table was promised to other guests. Wait 20 minutes to then be asked if I have already ordered. I want to order food, sorry 3:02 p.m. ..lunch just over. Girl, smoke less weed. I come from the catering industry myself, 10 years in Bandol sur Mer, star restaurant. I have a lot of understanding. But some people are simply not cut out for gastronomy.

A nice and cosy place that was already quite full inside on Sunday morning at 11. There was no usher as such, and we had to wait for a passing waitress to inform her that we needed a table. There's still an average waiting time of 15-20 minutes. The vibes inside are very homely and cute. The staff is also very cheerful and friendly. I tried the veggie bagel which was really good, as well as the waffles. The food looks and is delicious. They have a separate menu for the weekend, of which all the breakfast platters seem super tasty.

I sent back the fish in fisch and chips TWO times because it was not cooked well and they told me its how its supposed to be…. Well I got food posioning and had to throw up the complete friday night at home.

Wir waren Samstag Vormittag zum verspäteten Frühstück da. Das Cafe war voll, Reservierungen sind nur für größere Gruppen möglich. Trotzdem haben wir wie von Zauberhand einen Platz bekommen. Weil das Lokal sehr eng ist und man natürlich viele unterbringen möchte muss man sich den Tisch mit anderen Besuchern teilen, muss man mögen. Für uns kein allzu großes Problem. Für den Trend nicht reservieren zu können, müssen wir aber leider schon Abzüge geben. Manchmal will man einfach entspannt frühstücken und keine Lotterie um einen freien Tisch spielen. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Cappuccino gut, aber preislich für die Größe einfach zu teuer. Die Auswahl für das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Omlett und Croissant war sehr gut, die Waffel mit Obst ebenfalls. Das Tiroler Frühstück hat seine Schwächen. Eine viel zu dünne Scheibe Brot, nicht angeröstet, wie das Brot zum Omlett leider auch... Preisgestaltung teilweise gut, teilweise heillos überteuert. Aber für ein nettes Frühstück nach bestandener Tisch-Lotterie allemal gut. 3/5

Normal kommen wir sehr gerne her und das Essen und die Qualität stimmt auch absolut, dafür 5 Sterne. Leider hatten wir dieses mal ziemlich Pech mit dem Service, erst kam der Herr länger nicht, war dann so semi-freundlich, hat in der Folge mehrere Dinge vergessen, sodass quasi alles verzögert voneinander gekommen war. Nach dem Hinweis, dass ein Großteil fehlt (an eine Kollegin), stellt er in der Folge einer von uns ein (bestelltes) Wasser auf den Tisch und sagt "Das geht auf mich, sorry für den Rest". Ich meine er hat sich formal entschuldigt und jeder hat auch mal einen schlechten Tag, aber leider war das dieses mal nichts und Service ist für mich ein großer Teil dessen wofür ich zahle wenn ich auswärts essen gehe.

"Stiffest Bagel" I have ever eaten. Was almsot not cuttable - you would have needed a big kitchen knife to slice through the bagel. Otherwise okay.

Sehr schön zum Frühstück und Essen gehen. Ein sympathischer Service und eine leckerer Speisekarte.Genauso mit sehr viel Liebe das Essen angerichtet. Da ist für Groß und Klein was dabei, hier findet jeder eine Köstlichkeit. Wir kommen wieder.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen und Getränke. Im Restaurant ist es wirklich sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, wir saßen jedoch draußen. Der Service war nicht aufmerksam, jedoch sehr freundlich wenn man jemanden auf uns aufmerksam machen konnte. Ansonsten ein gelungener und schöner Aufenthalt.

We visited Metzgerei two yers ago during our last time in Stuttgart and this week here again, we wanted to visit it. The quality of the food is still excellent since last time. Our favourite is the fillet mignon with the truffle sauce! 100% recommended! We will come back in two years for sure!

Sehr schönes Lokal zum brunchen, ist sehr besucht. Mit Vielfalt an Frühstücks Gerichten, essen für jedermann ob vegan oder vegetarisch. Sehr schönes klassisches Ambiente und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Trotz sehr vollem Laden am Sonntagmorgen war der Service ruhig und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Auswahl ist groß und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei! Es wird dringend empfohlen vorher zu reservieren.

Leider ist es beim Frühstück ein ziemliches Glücksspiel. Die Karte ist zwar super und wenn das Essen noch warm ist, wenn es kommt schmeckt es auch. Aber die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass man einigermaßen zügig bestellen kann und sein Essen bekommt ist <50%. Waren heute da, mussten ewig auf einen Tisch warten, dann kamen die Getränke nicht und wir konnten auch nichts zu essen bestellen. Das Serviceteam war - wie meistens, v a zum Frühstück - total überfordert/ unterbesetzt. Schade. Wir sind dann wieder gegangen.

Trendy Location fürs Frühstück am Wochenende. Daher immer gut besucht. Wir waren zwei Mal zum Frühstück da und haben uns - trotz fehlender Reservierung - beide Male relativ unkompliziert ein Plätzchen ergattern können. Frühstück absolut in Ordnung. Preisniveau evtl. etwas zu hoch. Aber so ist es eben mit Angebot und Nachfrage in der Marktwirtschaft :)

Vorsicht, bei diesem Metzger gibt es keine Scheibe Wurst umsonst.

Die Metzgerei ist eins unserer Lieblingslokale, um spontan Essen zu gehen. Aber: Da es jetzt früher dunkel wird, sitzt nan unter den großen Schirmen auch trotz öffentlicher Beleuchtung im Dunkeln und sieht leider nicht, was man isst. Auf Nachfrage brachte der Service ein größeres Teelicht für einen 6 bis 8 Personen Tisch und meinte, eine ordentliche Beleuchtung würde sich wegen der paar Wochen im Jahr nicht lohnen. Nun denn, dann eben wieder Essen abholen und bei Licht zuhause essen.

Besonderes Restaurant mit einer großartigen Auswahl besonderer Gerichte. Sehr nettes freundliches Personal, guter Service. Lokal war sehr gut besucht. Hatte Fish und Chips und einen Beilagensalat, es kam ein knuspriges, saftiges Lachsfilet, das sehr zart war, dazu ein selbst gemachter Wasabi - aioli Dipp, der sehr mild war, dazu habe ich mir einen hausgemachte Guacamole bestellt, war sehr lecker. Dann gab’s ne Menge an besonderen Getränken, habe Fentmans Rose Limonade probiert, war mal komplett was anderes. War nicht zu süß, sogar leicht erfrischend. Preislich kam meine Bestellung knapp auf 30,-€. Es gibt als tollen Mittagstisch, auch zum Mitnehmen. Ich war inzwischen ein zweites mal dort. Wo wir 6 Mädels draußen im großen Außenbereich bei gemütlichem Ambiete einen total schönen Abend hatten. Habe selten so freundliches Personal erlebt. Der Kellner hat, obwohl alle Tische belegt waren, immer genug Zeit gefunden regelmäßig an unseren Tisch zu kommen und nach dem rechten zu fragen. Als wir Mädels ein Gruppenfoto wollten, war er sofort bereit das zu machen, hat gleich mehrere gemacht und bestand drauf, dass wir sie anschauen, wenn keines gepasst hätte, hätte er ein neues gemacht. Wie es typisch ist, waren wir bereits am quatschen und haben noch nicht ausgesucht was wir essen wollten, was bei den besonderen Gerichten auch nicht so einfach ist. Der Kellerner war einfach mega geduldig mit uns und kam einfach immer wieder bis wir so weit waren. Im Anschluß tranken wir einen Cocktail, da ich lieber süße möchte und es da nicht so viel auswahl gab, hat er mir angeboten, dass der Barkeeper mir was passendes mixen würde, ich bekam einen Amaretto Sour, der war mega lecker, im Leben wäre ich nicht auf die Idee gekommen mir soetwas zu bestellen, die frisch gepresste Zitrone in Kombination mit Zuckerkulör und Amaretto, garniert mit einer Orangenschale die etwas ausgepresst war, einfach ein Traum, erfrischend, aber nicht zu sauer mit genug Süße, aber eben auch nicht zu süß, mein neues Lieblingsgetränk. Kann ich also nur empfehlen, steht nicht auf der Karte, aber wenn ihr danach fragt, bekommt ihr das sicher. Jeder von uns hat quer Beet etwas von der Karte probiert, die Portionen sind riesig, die meisten haben den Teller nicht leer bekommen. Also kann die Metzgerei tatsächlich nur wärmstens Empfehlen.

Eines unserer Stammlokale in Stuttgart. Immer wieder top, egal ob zum Frühstück, auf einen Kaffee oder zum Abendessen und Cocktails. Man kann schön draußen sitzen und hat relativ lange Sonne.

Liebe Metzgerei, das war heute leider nix! Wir waren heute Nachmittag zu viert bei euch und haben wie gewohnt sehr leckeres Essen bekommen…dafür die zwei Sterne. ABER: Leider haben wir die Vorspeise (Suppe) mit dem Hauptgang zusammen bekommen mit der Aussage „sorry, müsst ihr halt jetzt gleichzeitig essen“. Ich soll mir als Gast also aussuchen, was ich kalt werden lasse…die Suppe für 8€ oder das Hauptgericht für 17€. Leute…das geht gar nicht. Doch damit nicht genug…als wir das Essen vor der Nase hatten und starten wollten meinte der Kellner, er müsse jetzt sofort abkassieren. Die Frage, ob wir erst essen dürfen beantwortete er mit „nein“. Ach so, es war Dienstag Nachmittag und dementsprechend alles andere als voll. Leute, das kann nicht euer Ernst sein…nicht in dieser Preisklasse.
