We had a truly fantastic Christmas party here. Besides the superb food and lovely atmosphere, Nadine especially did a wonderful job guiding us through the evening. She was incredibly friendly and extremely attentive. Thank you, Nadine, for a wonderful evening! 👍

It was a bit too dark in the blue agave room. The atmosphere was generally interesting, but my phone had trouble reading the barcodes. The food was good, but expensive. The noise level was a drawback, making conversation difficult. A negative point was that despite mentioning that the men's restroom was out of towels, they still hadn't been replenished after more than 90 minutes. At those prices, one would expect something more than a train station toilet experience. The best thing about the place was the friendly, helpful, and attentive service.

We sat upstairs. Older people would be better off sitting on the ground floor, as there are two flights of stairs down to the restroom. The waiter was usually present. The food was good. A nice feature is that guests get their parking fee reimbursed in the parking garage across the street.

The food is very good. We had the mixed platter for two for €55. It included a selection of Mexican specialties, plus a delicious dessert. Definitely worth it! The service was first-class! Very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Even though it was very busy, the waiter took his time and catered to all our needs. We'll be back!

We had a fantastic girls' night out at the Blue Agave. The atmosphere here is really great, and you immediately feel at ease. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food. I especially appreciated being able to choose corn tortillas instead of wheat tortillas for my fajitas, as I'm gluten intolerant. The only downside was that the waiter didn't come back to our table after the first round of drinks. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

We've been meeting up for years at our old school where we did our technical specialist training, twice a year, and once always at the same place. The food and everything else is always fantastic, stay the way you are!

The very friendly staff member managed to conjure up two seats for me, including my small dog, for the same evening at the almost fully booked restaurant late Friday afternoon – simply fantastic! The service was very friendly throughout. My special dietary requests due to food intolerances were handled very kindly, and the food arrived exactly as ordered. The food was good, and the drinks were delicious. Our only question mark: Drinks like soft drinks, beer, and coffee weren't on any menu and had to be specifically requested from the server. I've never experienced this before and find it problematic, especially given the lack of transparency regarding pricing. And: due to the number of people in the room and the cramped seating, it was extremely loud.

The food and atmosphere were great, as always. However, the service today – for once – was not. When we ordered, we were indirectly told we were taking too long ("You know, I've worked here a long time, but I can't read minds"), even though we were just being polite and letting each other order first. At that point, I thought everyone was just having a bad day. What bothered us most, though, was that we were clearly told at the beginning that we had a reservation for 2.5 hours, but then, after less than 2 hours and practically immediately after paying (including a generous tip), we were asked to vacate the table and directed to the bar area.

The staff are all very friendly and quick to respond to any requests – excellent! The drinks look nice, and the fruit used for decoration is fresh and tasty. However, the food is somewhat bland, especially anything with baked cheese. The refried beans are too dry, and what kind of guacamole is that? It could be better! But it's a nice place, no doubt, and the prices are reasonable.

My favorite restaurant in Ludwigsburg and the surrounding area. The service is always top-notch and the food is truly delicious. The only downside to the ambiance: It's too popular and sometimes a bit crowded, which makes it noisy. In the summer months, I highly recommend relaxing outside. There's something for every age group, and you should try the cocktails (including the non-alcoholic ones). I highly recommend everyone to eat here, or even just have a drink! I'll be back! *Probably too often for my budget.

The cocktails are simply amazing, and the food is even better. Just make a reservation in advance, as many people know how good it is!

Unfortunately, I found the service very negative. During the evening, I repeatedly heard inappropriate remarks about my religion/origin while ordering. Questions about ingredients, such as whether the ground meat was all beef or a mix of pork, were answered without mocking comments. The waiter's attempt at humor was unpleasant and inappropriate for me. The food was overall delicious, and the drinks were also tasty. My only criticism of the meal: The tortilla chips weren't crispy and seemed like they'd been open for a while.

I went to this bar two weeks ago with a friend. Normally, it was always a good place for me in Ludwigsburg, and whenever I went there, I really enjoyed going there. But last time, we had a really strange encounter with the staff. Our friend had ordered a cocktail and found moldy fruit in it. After we pointed this out to the staff, the only response we received was that this could happen with the amount of fruit they process daily. They tried to justify it by saying that moldy fruit could occasionally find its way into cocktails. As a "solution," we were offered a replacement cocktail, which our friend politely declined. Nevertheless, the cocktail ended up being added to the bill – even though we only took three sips and returned the rest. When we asked, they said they couldn't cancel the cocktail because moldy fruit wasn't a sufficient reason. In my opinion, the bar urgently needs to rethink what it offers its customers. This is completely unacceptable – and then not even acknowledging that it's completely unacceptable is the most outrageous act I've experienced in a long time. One thing's for sure: I will definitely avoid this Ludwigsburg restaurant in the future. My tip: Please check your cocktails carefully to make sure you're not served moldy fruit.

Fantastic, very attentive service. Excellent food! The only downside is the rather dim lighting, which almost makes you want to pull out your smartphone flashlight when reading the menu. A small, stylish table lamp would be wonderful!

Very friendly and cheerful staff. Appetizingly presented and delicious food. A very large selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The music is appropriately quiet, although the volume can be a bit loud when the restaurant is full. We'd be happy to come back.

On my last visit, I had a problem with the salad not being clean. Other than that, I haven't had any problems. The staff is friendly, the food is great. I definitely recommend it.

My wife and I visited Blaue Agave on a Thursday evening and were absolutely thrilled! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a warm and authentic atmosphere. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. Our evening was simply a complete success. Blaue Agave is definitely our go-to place for Mexican food. We can't wait to return. Five stars are more than deserved!

The service is truly excellent. During our visit to Blaue Agave, we were greeted and looked after with great courtesy by all the staff. I particularly liked how genuine the staff's friendliness seemed, not forced—that's exactly how you feel when visiting a restaurant. We had some nachos with dip as a small appetizer. The meal itself was very delicious, and the cocktails were also impressive. I would particularly like to highlight the Fruit Dream Cocktail, which not only tasted excellent but was also beautifully presented. The music played at a pleasant volume (outdoor seating). Another plus point: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

The starter was significantly overpriced, especially if you eat it alone (better to order for two). The main course was very tasty. All in all, a bit overpriced.

Why anyone would pay over €20 for tortillas that you buy in packs of 10 at the store, stuffed with cheese, rice, and guacamole, is a mystery to me. The taste is mediocre.

Unfortunately, the food doesn't really stand out from a chain like Joe Pena's. They also struggle to deliver cocktails and food to the table at the same time and on time. So, if you have patience, you can still get regular Mexican food here.

One of the non-alcoholic cocktails was too sweet for one of my sons, but that's a matter of taste. 5 stars, actually. One star deducted (actually only half a star) because my wife's salad could have been better selected; there were quite a few rotten spots on the lettuce leaves.

I've been here several times now, and I like the atmosphere, whether inside or on the terrace; it's a nice place to sit. The staff is always very friendly! As a vegetarian, there are delicious options; my recommendation is the spinach burrito and a non-alcoholic mojito.

The food is mediocre at best and relatively expensive, in my opinion. You shouldn't expect traditional Mexican cuisine, but I personally can't be bothered by it in other ways either. The other reviews seem to disagree, though. As for the service: really friendly, young people. Unfortunately, when I was there, it was a bit slow, but that's normal and understandable given how busy it was. As for the ambiance: beautiful and stylish, modern Mexican. Nothing to complain about. We usually only go here for the humongous nachos platter and the cocktails! Both are super delish! The wait on orders on weekends is usually high and can sometimes be frustrating, but otherwise great servers and atmosphere!

I wanted a classic vegetarian burrito. However, the menu only offers two very unusual vegetarian burritos (one filled with grilled vegetables, without refried beans or rice and the other usual ingredients, and one with feta and spinach). When I asked if I could have one of the classic burritos without the chili con carne, I was told no. The burritos are pre-made and therefore cannot be modified. As an alternative, I ordered the vegetarian fajitas. Unfortunately, it tasted very bland, with no noticeable spices or cilantro. The burritos are also topped with a very Italian-flavored tomato sauce...

Four of us were at the restaurant today, having a drink and planning some business. Right at the beginning, we politely explained that we didn't want anything to eat for now. Unfortunately, the waitress still asked us quite persistently several times whether we wanted to eat. After about 1.5 hours, we were finished and decided to order something to eat. Instead of simply taking note, the waitress made an inappropriate comment like, "Well, you're finally ready!" – that was neither professional nor hospitable. Unfortunately, the food itself couldn't save the evening either. The chili con carne burrito was disappointing: mushy and tasteless, the tortilla soft and lacking in bite. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience – a shame, as we had been looking forward to a pleasant stay.
