The price of €6.50 for the amount of food is far too low. The VAT reduction to 7% has also not been passed on. The portion is very small and not commensurate with the price. Overall, unfortunately, it's poor value for money.

Although a spicy dish was ordered, it was bland and the chicken was very tough.

I liked the atmosphere and the decor. Unfortunately, it was incredibly crowded, and the numbered seating gave it a cafeteria feel. The young staff members were trying their best, and it's really cool for young people. Unfortunately, the food wasn't authentic Thai, and the curry seemed like it was made with a ready-made sauce. The consistency and color of the curry were nothing like curry paste and coconut milk. It was edible, of course, but it wasn't good for my taste. Plus, it was only lukewarm…

Great Thai food. Excellent value for money – simply fair. Tastes really good and the portions are large (that's why there are so many takeaway containers). Modern and pleasant atmosphere. Take your time choosing, then order at the counter, take your drinks and cutlery, get a number, the food arrives, and your table is cleared. Why not! There's something for everyone here!

Cool place actually, good food and quite cheap

I was very disappointed. The menu listed prices without any mention of VAT – for example, €12.90. In the end, however, I had to pay €14.90, with the explanation "because of VAT." This is incorrect, as in Germany, final prices must always include VAT. This is simply misleading and not customer-friendly. I won't be going back.

You order at the counter/cash register, receive a numbered sign, and go to a table. The food is then brought to your table by the server. You get your own drinks; refills cost €1.50. The portions are quite generous, and they even have duck (very good) although it's not on the menu. However, we definitely can't recommend the peanut sauce. The service team did a great job despite a 10-minute power outage; kudos to them. The queue goes through other guests' tables, which is a bit awkward. Overall, it was a decent Asian meal if you're willing to wait in line and aren't too concerned about authentic Thai cuisine.

Perfectly optimized for efficiency, yet the dishes are delicious and affordable – or perhaps precisely because of that? We were satisfied and will return.

It was our first time there. We had imagined something different when we thought of Asian food. The sauces were thick and pasty. The vegetables were hard to find and overcooked. We are familiar with Asian food, so this has nothing to do with authentic Asian cuisine. We do not recommend it.

Of course, as always, everyone forgets the most important thing. So, to make a long story short: the food is okay, the service is unenthusiastic, but the worst thing for me personally is that it's absolutely not authentic when it's advertised as Thai food and I'm not served or prepared by a single Thai person. They're all Romanians and from who-knows-where, not a single Thai. I find that very, very disappointing.

Stay away from that duck! It smells terrible! You can't even get such poor quality from a frozen product. Very disappointing.

In my opinion, this is the best Pad Thai I've ever had anywhere else, so creamy and delicious. The other dishes are also quite good. The seating inside isn't particularly comfortable; it's often very crowded and noisy. But the Pad Thai makes up for it all.

The food is good, portions are reasonable, and prices are reasonable. The restaurant is large and offers a variety of seating options. Unfortunately, it has a fast-food feel; you're handed a menu at the cash register, can choose from a few dishes, order and pay immediately, get your drinks, and then wait at your table for your meal. It comes quickly. But ordering at the table would be nicer... well, okay.

The food is incredibly delicious, we really enjoy coming back for it! 😍 One thing that could be improved is the music: Reggaeton and Spanish songs don't really fit in with an Asian restaurant, and the volume makes conversation difficult. A bit more atmospheric, quieter background music would enhance the experience even more. At the checkout, we also noticed that one employee often seemed a bit irritated. Of course, everyone has bad days, but since this happened repeatedly, a friendlier approach would be desirable. Then the great food would complement the overall pleasant service.

If you go there during your lunch break, you'll have time. I missed my break and had the choice between leaving hungry or being back at work late.

The waiters were very tired, they greeted us, but they were completely indifferent. They did not inform us not to wait outside to order because we had to go inside. They were not helpful in choosing the dishes either, only with our little girl. The food arrived very quickly and was very delicious, with a generous portion. We were there at the end of August, it was almost impossible to sit outside because of the many flies and wasps. The interior is very cozy, although the beautiful wall painting of a cross in the lower part does not match the Buddha images in the other parts.

The food here is super delicious and delivered very quickly. I love going here again and again! I highly recommend - Pad Thai - Papaya Salad - Tom Kah Gai Unfortunately, the Pad Thai always comes with a few pieces of tofu, even though I always order it with chicken.

This great restaurant was just what we needed to sate our appetite and thirst. Inside and outside seating (we were outside), friendly staff, efficient service, very tasty meals and very reasonably priced. Recommend the Pad Thai and the Thai Curry deluxe washed down with a Singha.

The taste was okay, although all the dishes tasted extremely sweet. However, there's no air conditioning, so it's extremely hot and stuffy inside. Both inside and outside, you're inundated with flies, so it wasn't a pleasant dining experience.

Vegetarian food is just tons of tofu on the plate with almost no vegetables. It's a cheap chain restaurant and the staff do not care at all about the food they are serving. I would not recommend this restaurant.

This place has declined further than an already low bar when we last came. It was Ok before but truly awful now. An Asian restaurant that doesn’t have oyster sauce?!?!?! There is not much Asian flavour other than the fact it’s cooked in a wok. They couldn’t offer an alternative meat to chicken for Pad kra pao, so I was forced to have the jungle fever option. I was delivered with some sort of weird fried rice that only tasted of light spice and no other flavour. My dining colleagues also found the same, one saying ‘plain rice would have gone down better!’. If you want something resembling a nice fresh Thai/asian meal, then this is not the place.

People come here all the time to eat Pad Thai at a good restaurant in Ludwigsburg. It always tastes great and is a little different each time. Perhaps they could change the self-service option to waitress service, then many people might stay longer and order more drinks.

As we all know, tastes differ; I personally found the food mediocre at best. Very German-style, lukewarm, and just so-so. There are some very good (authentic) Thai restaurants, but this one isn't one of them.

I was at Wok on Fire six months ago and thought it was pretty good. Today I ate there again and was really disappointed. We had the Pad Thai, and the sauce was slimy and artificial. The homemade Wok on Fire (Asian Fire sauce) unfortunately lacked flavor, and the quality of the tofu and chicken was also poor. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant and won't eat there again.

The 4.7 stars are very confusing, especially in the summer. Outside, garbage flies fly around on guests' plates, and if you go inside, you get heatstroke. Something urgently needs to be done about this!

I've been going there for about two years now because I enjoy the food! I often eat the delicious papaya salad (€14.50), but today it was a disgrace! Only half the portion was served for the same price! This annoyed me, so I politely pointed it out and asked for a free second helping. A young employee then came over and explained to me that the portion had always been that size (definitely not!) and that Wok on Fire had a new concept. Huh, I have no idea about the subject or what I said. Something so unprofessional is unacceptable! An explanation that was completely off the mark. Conclusion: I didn't get a second helping, nor was there an apology! This scam from WOK on Fire (cheating guests and making them look stupid) is the worst!

The place was well located and there was enough seats on the terrace. Staff were nice and spoke fluent english ! Pod thai and green curry, both were tasty and the price reasonable.

I've been going there often for years. The food is always very good and the service friendly. It's also beautifully decorated. If it gets very busy, a longer wait is to be expected because I honestly think some of the people in the reviews have never worked in the restaurant industry, or at least in customer service. Number 11 (rice noodle soup with chicken) is similar to a milder Vietnamese pho. It's my favorite there. The pad Thai isn't authentic but still tastes delicious. Number 12 is duck with curry and rice, which is also highly recommended!

So guys, I'll tell you honestly – this waiter Nenad Dujkuvic is a machine! 😂 I walk into a restaurant, and he immediately says to me: "Sit down, brother, today you're going to eat like a king!" At first I thought he was joking – but then he brings the food, and BOOM – flavor explosion! 💥 He talks a bit strangely, but with heart. Something like: "I'll bring it right away, but the kitchen's a bit slow today, like my old Opel." 😅 And when I pay, he says: "Today you tip, tomorrow I'll be rich!" 🤣 I only come for Nenad – the food is delicious, but the service is a comedy show with heart. Nenad, you're a legend, brother! Stay the way you are – but maybe take a little more German, okay? 😄

Anyone looking for takeaway has clearly come to the wrong place. I was at WOK ON FIRE today and wanted to order my food to go. I was told I had to pack it myself. The whole thing was very tedious, transferring everything from the plate into the box without spilling anything. Meanwhile, customers give you strange looks. You pay extra for the food and assume it will be properly wrapped. Everywhere else they offer this, but not here. Now you know what you can change in the future.

I'm very disappointed. There was no papaya in the papaya salad. The pieces that were passed off as papaya were carrots. But the price was for papaya.

The food is good for German tastes - it is very Germanized Asian food. From an authentic Asian cuisine perspective, it tends to be too sweet. The service is rather functional: you order and pay at the counter, the food is then brought to the table by number - similar to McDonald's. However, the location on the market square is excellent and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Waiting time of over 50 minutes for a simple wok dish, outside of lunchtime. Then a requested ingredient that was paid for was also forgotten. The food was also very oily.

Something was missing from the food on the last two visits. Last time the dish was totally over salted. You have to explicitly ask the waiter to add the missing ingredients again later. The fact that the last dish was oversalted was completely ignored. New workforce leaves a lot to be desired.

I am very disappointed, the food is definitely not worth the price. We waited almost an hour for our food and then the second dish took a good 10 minutes longer than the other. My fried rice was totally slimy and oily. And the toilets weren't convincing either, there was only toilet paper in 1 of 3 toilets and there was feces residue and a corresponding smell in the room in all three toilets. Unfortunately, the hand soap was almost empty. That was our first and last visit to this restaurant

We were here on a Saturday. We got a seat without making a reservation. The food was good and a good price. The sun was there and we could eat on the terrace. The chairs weren't very comfortable, but it was good to have something to eat and drink and then move on again. You order the food and drinks inside and pay straight away. Then take a number outside and the food will be served. The system works well

I think the concept is good. You choose your food and drinks using display boards, pay and sit down at a table. The food is freshly prepared and brought to the table. For us it happened very quickly, the food was good but not great. Prices are reasonable for the central location and facilities. You'll be happy to come back!
