Happy to have brunch there on Sundays. But drinks are expensive.

Had dinner there with a group yesterday. It was a bit noisy, but otherwise everything was great. My steak was excellent. Only recommended.

If you want to eat here in the evening at peak times, you should make a reservation no matter what day it is. The food is delicious, we've tried many things before. The drinks are delicious and well mixed. The dessert is also very good. The service is a young team and they do their job well. It's a bit louder, it's more of a dinner place after all :-). There are several parking garages in the area and a few parking spaces next door, on the street. All of this is subject to a fee. We can recommend Kullmans. If you want to eat American food and also want to get the feeling, this is the right place for you!

We went to Kullman's Diner again for a birthday after many years. At the end of the evening we immediately knew why we hadn't been there for so many years. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered the location, we were not greeted very friendly at reception. The condition quickly waved its hands upwards, presumably to signal to us that it either didn't have the time or didn't feel like it. We were quickly taken to our reserved place. At this point the cards were carelessly slapped onto the table instead of being presented to us properly. We ordered two “The Pulled Pork Eggmax”, one “Kullman’s Pulled Pork and Fries” as well as the “Kullman’s BBQ Plate” for one person and the “South Carolina Cheesy Chicken” burger. There was also one person of sweet potato fries and two portions of onion rings. I was particularly pleased that four people received their food, while the fifth person had to wait for their food and only received it when they asked the waitress about the food. Apparently it was forgotten. When this person got their food, the first people had already finished eating and all those who were waiting were able to enjoy cold food. The chicken burger and onion rings were very tasty and the honey mustard dip on the BBQ platter was also well received Unfortunately there was only ketchup at the table with the fries. When we left the diner we noticed that there was mayonnaise on the other tables too. It would have been very nice if our table had been set like the other tables. Unfortunately, the pulled pork tasted almost exclusively like BBQ sauce and hardly any meat. The spare ribs were very lean and we were very happy to have ordered the BBQ platter and not just the ribs. The coleslaw advertised as a side dish came served in a small glass. The amount was about 2 forkfuls. So if you don't order an additional side dish, you definitely won't get full here. Unfortunately, the corn on the cob on the BBQ plate has never seen salt or herb butter beforehand, but perhaps this should be the case. The drinks came very quickly, but the Pepsi is not recommended. Unfortunately it almost only tastes like water, not really like Pepsi. Even when the drink was replaced with a new one, this didn't improve. Even though there was a lot going on that evening and, given the current wave of illnesses, staff were probably absent, we would have liked someone to at least come to the table and ask whether we would like to order something else. The diner is also very loud on a busy night, making it very difficult to have a conversation. The music in the background was therefore barely noticeable. It was very warm in the diner, almost too warm, while the toilets were very cold. Neither comfortable to go to the toilet nor to change a baby's diaper. The prices in the diner are not too high, but they correspond to the quality of the food and some drinks. We paid €136.50 for 5 people, which is of course inexpensive by current standards, but this reflects the quality of the food and the entire evening. We definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend Sam Kullman's Diner.

We've been there a few times, after basketball games. Super centrally located, right next to the MHP Arena and the train station. The food and drinks are solid, which is what you would expect in an American diner, but not particularly great. As is often the case, we were served by an older lady with short hair and, as always, very arrogant and rude. This time we even noticed how she put her employees down and bossed them around, even though she wandered around uncoordinated and let the others do the hard work. Out of curiosity, I also looked at other reviews, apparently not an isolated case. It's incomprehensible how someone like that can still be employed. However, the boss is super nice and personable. Unfortunately we don't come often because the lady in question ruins the whole charm.

I've been coming to Kullman's regularly for years. The restaurant is centrally located and has American furnishings. The food always tastes good and offers a large selection. We never had to wait long for food or service. The staff is always in a great mood and very attentive. It's always fun coming here.

A perfect Saturday evening can look something like this: #1 managed to get a table for my girls and I after the game, #2 brilliantly delicious burgers & deli sides without a long wait despite the full place, and #3 all of this at a mega-fair price Price. Just as.

Was turned away at reception with three children because I was told that a reservation was required. There were free tables and the lady was noticeably unfriendly. 3 minutes later my husband asked the same waitress for a table for 5 people. The table was made available to him for 3 hours. We went somewhere else. The above-mentioned person already attracted attention last time with her unfriendly demeanor. Unfortunately, the service is not yet American

I was in Ludwigsburg with my girlfriend for 2 days and came across it by chance. We are very enthusiastic about the food, the service and the ambience. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely come back :) Thank you for the lovely evening

Great food, great memories and great service! Was there very often. Both food and drink. I've only ever eaten burgers there, but they were very tasty and, if I may put it so cheekily, a real treat. I can only recommend it to everyone. The bartender is a man of honor!

With a quick call we were able to reserve a table for 7 people. Clean store with something for every taste.

We had to wait forever for the main course because the waitress forgot to order it after the starter. There are only 2 stars for the food because the fries tasted quite greasy.

Were there today (5 people) to eat... After ordering for the first time, we waited a good hour for the food (the mood in the group was still good) when the food came after an eternity there was great enthusiasm, it just unfortunately looked better when it tasted... the fries were soggy, the rest was almost completely devoid of any risk of burns, not even with the two burgers. For 5 people there were 5 knives, 4 forks and 3 napkins for the second round of drinks, 1 drink wasn't even an option after the question, but one person had a completely different mixing ratio and only smelled of alcohol because the glass was smaller than the first... After After packing up the leftovers ourselves, the mood wasn't so good anymore... When we waited 30 minutes for the bill (almost empty shop @_@) our patience broke as we looked for a waitress In order to pay, we stopped everyone eating 1 hour before loading (nothing against breaks, just not everyone together). When we asked again about the bill, the answer was blunt with "Oh, they wanted to pay." 5 people sat for 30 minutes in front of empty glasses Plates were cleared away... The atmosphere is unique in stuttgart. It indeed felt like an authentic American dinner. The burgers were a little overcooked, but the ingredients were fresh and of quality. I will come back to try the other items in the menu.

Kullman’s Ludwigsburg convinced me: the burger tasted great and was pleasantly portioned. The sweet potato fries came in a very generous portion, although there was no matching dip - but you can probably order that separately. The homemade lemonade with little sugar was refreshing, although initially a little unusual in taste. The map is really big; Small pictures of the dishes could make the decision easier. The ambience was appealing, especially with the Christmas decorations. However, it was quite loud in the restaurant due to its size and the number of visitors. A plus point is the easy accessibility by S-Bahn, as the restaurant is close to a stop. Overall, a clear recommendation for burger fans, even if it can get a bit lively at times.

Unfriendly service. We were seated at a shaky table by an older lady. Then we moved one table further (identical table). When the waitress came to us, she basically told us that we weren't allowed to do that. That could have been said more kindly. I didn't feel comfortable there and don't feel like coming back.

This was our first time eating there and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and very filling. The service was extremely friendly, quick and accommodating. When we were there the entire diner was completely booked and it was really busy and yet the entire team was relaxed and friendly. Super super super... highly recommended... We'll be back.

Sam Kullmann's in Ludwigsburg is simply great. The food is always incredibly tasty and prepared with a lot of love. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the waitresses, who are generally always attentive and in a good mood. I always enjoy coming here.

Wonderful evening spent at the diner! Great service from all staff. We ate enough...see pictures. The portions are really very large. Drink of the week or so was Aperol Spritz, well mixed. Vor zwei Jahren war Sam Kullman’s der absolute Knaller! Ein Besuch war wie ein kleines Fest: die Burger saftig, die Pommes knusprig, und das Essen hatte diesen gewissen „Ich will nie wieder woanders essen“-Effekt. Aber heute? Leider mehr Mittelmaß als Meisterstück. Vor einem Monat war ich schon mal da und dachte: „Ach, vielleicht ein Ausrutscher.“ Jetzt habe ich’s nochmal probiert, aber irgendwie wurde es eher schlechter als besser. Der Burger war okay, aber ohne diesen Wow-Moment, und die Pommes wirkten so, als hätten sie früher auch mal bessere Tage gesehen.

3 days ago I was at Kullmann's Diner with a friend. We ordered steaks. One New York Clubhouse Steak 200g (€19.90) and one 300g. (€25.90) ​​One with grilled vegetables and the other with baked potato with sour cream, each for €4.90 extra. The steaks were grilled exactly medium, the quality of the meat was ok, but we already knew better. My grilled vegetables were seasoned decently, but could have been hotter. The potato was big. Just a potato. The waiting time for the food was still reasonable. The servers served us quickly and friendly.

So first I have to wait 2 years for my order. The waitress had a mustache and I'll go with it

As a family with 2 children (5 and 10 years old), we have been there 4 times and have always ordered a children's menu and 3 barbecue shack burgers. So far everything is ok. We were there today, everything ordered as usual. The barbecue burgers we got today suddenly had a spicy sauce. Our son almost jumped to the ceiling and cried because of the intensity. We spoke to the lady and asked why the burger was spicy, since we ordered barbecue. She said it wasn't spicy, it was the honey barbecue sauce and it was gone! We called her again and asked if she could go into the kitchen to ask about it, she came back and said: just normal barbecue sauce! We then said that she should try the sauce herself and she just said: no, thanks, I don't like barbecue sauce! She didn't give a shit, she didn't even try to help us. We had to order a cheeseburger for our older one because the other one was way too spicy and a second drink too. So we left €70 for burgers for 2 adults and 2 children! The service lady should look up or google the word “service”! Even at McDonald's you get better service. We were definitely there for the last time today.

We went to Kullmans for the first time today. We were greeted friendly and taken to the table. The table, on the other hand, wobbled quite a bit and we had to ask for beer mats to stabilize it. We didn't get a drinks menu and the fact that there were also 0.3l options was not mentioned and so 0.5l was sold. We were later able to find such a card on the empty table next door. When the delicious food came really quickly, I wanted to pay straight away. Because of the noise level, I could hardly understand my wife, who was sitting only 60cm away, and she couldn't understand me either. After my comment about this, I was kindly billed and as I later found out, the service in the background responded directly with stupid sayings to each other. It's a shame, I'm annoyed about the tip.

Since we come from out of town, we were there for the first time today. The food was delicious and the staff was initially friendly. The drinks menu is not on the menu and was not offered to us. Unfortunately it was unbearably loud so you couldn't hear the person you were talking to. When we politely commented on this when paying, colleagues (not far from our table) obviously made fun of this comment. Too bad. I wouldn't go there again.

Feel free to come there. Milkshakes great. Unfortunately, the banana shake hasn't been available for years. Especially like to come and eat wings.

It's a shame, we were there for dinner today, October 31, 2024. Nothing really worked, milk shakes couldn't be made or, better yet, none were made, second round of ordering drinks didn't work, numbers were very tough, we had to say it several times. Others didn't have fries, even though they were told several times. Probably also a shortage of skilled workers. 2 service ladies for the entire store that was full is not possible. But food was OK as always.

Tuesdays for lunch, no reservation necessary. Food was good, we had burgers and wraps from the lunch deal as well as a few extras. The ambience and furnishings match the theme. On the positive side, the highlights of the days of the week are a very good idea.

What fantastic service! We were here for dinner on Sunday October 13th, 2024. Actually there was no more space because the basketball game next door would soon be finished and then everything would be reserved. When we stood outside again and came up with a new plan, the waitress came out again and offered us a table! Just great, thank you very much. We felt very well looked after during our stay! The food was also great! Pulled pork burgers are great! And all at a fair price for a family of four! When we are back in Ludwigsburg we will come back!

Mi marido y yo estamos de visita desde el Reino Unido y este restaurante nos lo sugirió la pensión en la que nos alojamos cerca. Entramos en una noche de lunes lluviosa y comimos un bistec increíble y los palitos de mozzarella más hermosos que he tenido desde la última vez que pisé Estados Unidos hace más de una década. Este lugar es el artículo genuino y como persona que honestamente puede decir que solía tener un pasaporte estadounidense, la comida llega al lugar de una manera que nada en Inglaterra ha logrado capturar con intentos estadounidenses. Las patatas fritas son sin duda vale la pena probar y el personal era increíblemente amable, que puramente añadió a la atmósfera.

It was really cool! Food came very quickly it's impressive even tho restaurant was full They have very nice fries and they offer two full bottles of Mayo and Ketchup 🥹. They have home made iced tea I got Maracuja and it was delicious!! Burgers were also very good. I recommend it🥰 It was 41€ for two people. Very fair honestly

The food is of a consistently high standard and special requests for cocktails are taken into account. If you get Antje as a waitress then I guarantee you that the evening will be a complete success!

So far everything was great. Vegetable sticks should only be included in one dish. These were initially “forgotten” and when he spoke to the waitress he had to ask. What happened next was more of a joke. Even the waiter had to smile. Better to mention vegetable sticks on the menu or present something better. You should also clean between the end of the table and the window front. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned here for a while. But otherwise everything was ok with the food and everything else.

Wir sind 3 Stunden gefahren (02.09.2024) um eine schöne Tag in Ludwigsburg zu machen und am Schluss bei Kullman's was leckeres zu essen. Wir haben in der Vergangenheit das Restaurant in Kaiserslautern besucht und waren sehr überzeugt. Das war der Fall hier nicht. Essen war zwar lecker aber nichts besonderes und Service so lala. Für 2 Burger, ein Pommes platte und 2 colas haben wir am ende 67€ bezahlt. Ich habe an den moment nicht dran gedacht aber als ich am auto war hat mir etwas am preis nicht gepasst. Kurz und knapp das hätte alles kein 45€ gekostet. Die haben von uns inklusive Tipp knapp 30€ gewinn gemacht. Unfassbar! Und alles ohne Rechnung! Spätestens dann hätte ich was bemerkt.

Diner in the style of the 1950s. Versatile burgers in different variations and sizes (additional meat pads) can be ordered at an additional charge. Also other dishes on offer and various changing promotions throughout the week, which is very good. The taste of my burger was good but nothing special. Prices adjusted to today and not cheap. Fries prices a bit too high for the portion I received. Location very well attended. A reservation could be helpful to get to know the diner. Parking spaces on the street are hardly available or are free. If necessary, park in the parking garage or come by S-Bahn. Feel free to try it.

We dined there on Tuesday as a group of 6 people. Restaurant was empty except for 1-2 small tables occupied. The waitress/service person was extremely unfriendly from the start. Couldn't answer questions properly, answered briefly and aggressively. The food came relatively quickly, was definitely pre-cooked, and the sweet potatoes tasted strongly of dough. As a group we weren't allowed to put two tables together; when another group came (who knew them) those next to us were allowed to put two larger tables together. The waitress was extremely friendly with her group of friends and continued to be in a bad mood with us. Equality is very important here! When we wanted to pay she was called at least 4 times, she sat in the restaurant the whole time and chatted with someone. Even though she was called several times because we had to leave because our parking meter was expiring, she still didn't care. Very sad, made our day worse. We're not going there anymore.

It's my first time in Ludwigsburg and I wanted to have a drink with my daughter after visiting the city. Unfortunately we weren't served, even though it wasn't that busy at 9 p.m. A waitress served food outside and ignored us. My daughter asked for the drinks menu in the restaurant and even after that, no one came outside to serve us. After about 15 +/- minutes we got up and left. I've been working in the catering industry for years, and in my opinion that's a no go! It's a shame, because the restaurant made a nice impression.

Always a pure pleasure. The food was extremely delicious and the portion was just right. The strawberry milkshake is absolutely my favorite. The ambience is simply cool and fits perfectly. The service itself was great, but unfortunately it took a little longer to get to the point of payment 🫣 but I can still give it full stars with a clear conscience. Keep it up 🍀

Once and never again!! Had a rib eye steak medium rare. Inedible. You couldn't even cut it, even with a steak knife. Complaints were responded to 0.0! You got a stupid answer!

Been there today....🥴 Service a complete disaster (rude/stuffy and without motivation) During our time there (1:10 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) at least 15 people sat down at free tables and wanted to be served... they all left after about 15 - 20 minutes to be ignored... And the food, well - far too expensive for the quality... Overall only poor - and not recommended at all - but it was also different... Restaurant manager/managing director not in the house today?

Mega cool load. Delicious food and very good value for money. Ambience is also very nice. But the best thing is the employees. And especially Marvin. He is a great waiter who loves and lives his job. If you have Marvin as a waiter, give him a big tip, he really deserves it
