Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly in recent years. It used to be delicious, but now it's just okay.

I went to Kullman’s in Ludwigsburg. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and quick – no complaints there. The food also arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing: My classic burger with fries was only lukewarm instead of hot. It seemed as if the dish had been sitting out for a while. The taste was okay, but not really impressive. I also found the condition of the ketchup bottle on the table unacceptable: The cap was screwed on too tightly, and the ketchup around the threads had already dried out. Overall, the price-performance ratio is acceptable, but it's not enough for me to return.

Unfortunately, the service was incredibly rude, especially from the older blonde lady. The food wasn't very good either; the steak was ordered incorrectly several times, and that shouldn't happen for the price! It was also far too loud.

We were at the MHP Arena yesterday and wanted to grab a bite to eat beforehand. Kullman's was recommended to us. We received a warm welcome. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were shown to a good table. The service staff were friendly, professional, and, despite the large number of customers, refreshingly relaxed. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. It was our first time eating there, but certainly not our last.

It's actually a great place. But the quality of service and food isn't consistent. I've had some fantastic visits, but also some where the food was practically cold and the staff was unfriendly. However, I think the place looks great and deserves another chance.

This place is really good for a quick American meal. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic dinner for two, though, because it can get quite noisy. All the staff are very friendly, and the food selection is typical American fare. My sandwich was a perfectly good size and reasonably priced, and the scoop of ice cream afterward was delicious. I would definitely eat here again, and I recommend making a reservation if you're traveling with a group.

We dined at Kullman's again yesterday, November 26, 2025, for the umpteenth time... Service, burgers, ribs, chicken – everything was perfect and delicious, top-notch service, and reservations always go smoothly... We'll gladly come back again in 2026...

I was told on the phone that I could just drop by. We had a drive of over 300km and were then rudely approached by a woman with short blonde hair who worked there. What a shame!

The atmosphere is very nice, however, I find it a bit odd that the burgers don't come with fries and you have to order them separately. I personally had the mac and cheese with pulled pork. The pulled pork was unfortunately a little dry, but it was filling! Despite that, a very good place.

Arriving here at 10:30 PM and being told the kitchen is closed, even though the restaurant is open until midnight, is understandable. However, I don't understand why guests who only want a cocktail feel uncomfortable and are directed to the bar tables. After asking again, we were allowed to sit at a table, but by 11:30 PM all the chairs had already been stacked on tables, and we received disapproving looks when we tried to order another cocktail. The staff were arguing on the counter, and it was impossible to feel comfortable as a guest, as if they were trying to close and expect us to leave immediately. It's a shame they don't simply adjust their opening hours and close earlier instead of making guests feel uncomfortable ordering something during regular hours and being given disapproving looks by all the staff.

We would particularly like to highlight the attentive and friendly service and the delicious, tender ribs. We will definitely come back.

Hey, Quickly stopped in for dinner on our way there. The service is very quick, and the 1950s ambiance is cool. The food is delicious.

The toilets are dirty! The cleaning sheets on the wall have already been signed for the entire week. No towels, and one of the sinks doesn't work at all! It's a shame, because the food actually tastes pretty good.

However, for the lunch menu, I paid almost twice as much as my colleagues who had the lunch special for almost the same burger (same size, same side dish—the only difference being a slice of cheese) and the same drink. That really makes you feel like you've been ripped off...

It looks like a classic American diner. There was no one else in there when we were there. We ordered burgers, which unfortunately tasted just average. And the price wasn't really justified, in my opinion. You'll have to see for yourself. The homemade lemon iced tea wasn't sweetened at all and just tasted like water. The service was very friendly.

We went to Kullmanns today, and our visit was a very disappointing experience overall. Upon arrival, we were treated unfriendly. Even though several tables were visibly free and, upon request, hadn't been reserved, they refused to let us sit. Only after discussion were we allowed to sit – but with the absurd condition that we had to return a chair if someone at another table needed one. This was completely illogical and immediately created an unpleasant atmosphere. The service was generally lackluster, inattentive, and unwelcoming. You felt more like a burden as a guest than a welcome one. We searched in vain for friendliness or a smile. Orders were taken reluctantly, and queries were answered curtly or rudely. The atmosphere was also anything but inviting: hectic, disorganized, and devoid of any hospitality. We would have liked to feel comfortable, but instead, it felt more like we were being quickly dismissed.

Overall, I really enjoyed it here. Despite a group of 10 people, the service was always quick and often asked if we needed anything else. Prices are perfectly reasonable, but I found some things a bit pricey, like a Milky Way for €7.90, which wasn't exactly huge. Also, the acoustics aren't great. I can recommend the vegetarian or vegan burgers.

Super friendly staff, but the food wasn't even that good. The burger patties were dry. I had the Angus burger, the others were regular. You can save yourself the extra charge. Neither is particularly special. The salad was okay. For a total of €150 for 5 people, you'd expect more.

Kullman's: A Piece of America at the Train Station On Saturday, September 6, 2025, I had the pleasure of visiting Kullman's, and I have to say: I was completely thrilled with the food. I will definitely be back. Ambience and Location: The restaurant is located directly across from the train station, making it very accessible. Despite its proximity to the hustle and bustle, the outdoor area offers a pleasantly quiet and relaxed atmosphere from which to observe the action. The simple yet comfortable outdoor furniture provides comfort. Inside, the diner concept is perfectly implemented. You immediately feel like you're in an American movie—a very authentic experience. Menu: The menu is extensive and offers something for every taste. At first, the selection may seem a bit overwhelming, but the logical structure helps you quickly find your way around. The selection is clearly inspired by American cuisine: from ribs and pulled pork to steaks and a variety of burgers. The BBQ Platter: I chose the BBQ platter for one person, which included a 120g New York Clubhouse steak, ribs, pulled pork with bacon, a corn on the cob, fries, and a dip of my choice (Sweet & Smokey BBQ Dip). - The New York Clubhouse steak was buttery tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It had an intense flavor without being overpowered by salt or pepper. It was still slightly pink inside, which was the ideal doneness for me. One small suggestion for improvement: It would be great if they asked for the doneness. - The pulled pork was a real highlight: incredibly juicy and full of flavor. I could have eaten so much more of it. - The ribs were also perfectly cooked. The meat fell off the bone effortlessly and was very juicy. The only thing was that the seasoning was a bit understated compared to the steak and pulled pork, but combined with the dip, that wasn't a problem. - The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked throughout, with no burnt bits. The light seasoning was just right for me. - The corn on the cob was simple but well-prepared, and the little skewer for holding it was a handy touch. - The Sweet & Smokey BBQ Dip completely won me over. It offered a great balance of sweetness and smoky flavor and complemented the platter perfectly. - The accompanying coleslaw rounded off the dish perfectly. Overall, the BBQ platter is very well-balanced in terms of flavor and offers an excellent variety of first-class prepared meats. The portion size was just right – you'll be pleasantly full without feeling overstuffed. Service and value for money: The service was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. Even though I didn't have a reservation, I was seated quickly. The service was prompt, and the food also arrived surprisingly quickly, which was remarkable given the variety on the platter. At around €33 for the BBQ platter and a large Spezi, the value for money is excellent. For the quality of the food, it's truly unbeatable. Conclusion: Kullman's completely won me over. From the authentic atmosphere to the first-class food to the friendly service – the American charm runs like a thread throughout the entire visit. Anyone who loves American cuisine should definitely pay Kullman's a visit. It's worth it! Personally, I will definitely eat here more often and am already looking forward to my next visit. Nice attentive service, very good food, fair prices

If 2-3 tables aren't cleared on the way to the restroom, and two waitresses are chatting animatedly behind the counter without even saying hello, that's a real shame. I'm not going there again! Customer service rating: 6.

Huge menu, but 80% of it consists of convenience products. Hard onion rings from the same bag as the mozzarella sticks. Making corn on the cob taste rancid and burnt at the same time is a challenge. The meat was okay, but it was also generic. Pimp up the thawed Kaufland cheesecake from the day before with frozen strawberries, and it's American cheesecake. Iced coffee? Greetings from Krüger. The fully automatic coffee machine at the counter is just decoration. Conclusion: I recommend giving it a wide berth. Go to a small burger joint instead of this mass-produced place.

When we arrived, the restaurant was about 40% full. We asked for a seat under a fan. The lady (short blonde hair) said they were all reserved 🤣 but then she apparently realized how ridiculous that statement was (as I said, there were tons of empty tables) and gave us one anyway. It should be noted that while we were there, these tables remained empty, and those who came and had reserved were seated elsewhere. The waitress (dark hair and glasses) was friendly, but only came to take our order and pay. We didn't ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else. We specifically ordered the nachos with the drinks and the main course later so that the nachos would be served as an appetizer. Of course, the appetizer and main course came together. What nonsense! The main course was then taken away and placed under a heat lamp. The fries were soggy afterward. About the food itself: The nachos were tasteless. The cheese on top wasn't crispy, but rather runny. The cheese tasted cheap. There were no wet wipes for the cheese-filled hands either. Macaroni and cheese had no flavor. The pulled pork on top was good, but not much. The burger was okay, but nothing special. You pay €11 for 1.5 liters of bottled water. Recommendation: A definite NO

Arriving in Ludwigsburg by train and stopping at Kuhlmann (almost) at the station leads to culinary delights. Excellent service, excellent waitresses, and a variety of delicacies from the kitchen. Highly recommended, though a bit pricey for an out-of-towner, says Gerald from ReiseTravel.eu.

Ordered and picked up a burger because I was staying at the hotel next door. It was too loud and crowded for me, which was more to do with the time (Saturday evening). Very tasty and the portion size was perfect. The staff were friendly when I picked it up.

We were there today - placed an order, and after an hour, we didn't get any food. When we asked the waiter, we were told he would look into it. We never received a response... twice in a row. But it was nice of the waitress to simply accept the cancellation.

First of all... the restaurant really deserves at least 4 stars. Now to the point why, in my personal opinion, it only got 2. Yesterday, 10 of us were there for Ribs Day and drove a good 130 km. It's well located; there's a large parking garage practically across the street with plenty of spaces, and after 7 p.m., there's even some free parking on the street. I had called about a week before and asked how things would work for us to come next week for the all-you-can-eat spare ribs. The friendly, very young-sounding lady asked, but for some reason, she asked about the all-you-can-eat chicken wings on Wednesday. When she came back on the phone, I corrected her and told her I was asking about the all-you-can-eat spare ribs on Monday. I went back and asked about the chicken wings again. They said you have to make a reservation online. So I just left it at that. So I went back to the website to find out more, and it also said that Ribs Day was only available by reservation. So I reserved a table for us. When we got our table and went to order, we said we all wanted the ribs. After the waitress checked, she said that a reservation alone wouldn't be enough. I felt like I'd been ripped off, because nowhere did it say please indicate that you're coming for the all-you-can-eat option. They only ever talked about a reservation, both on the website and on the phone, saying that you have to make a reservation. I think that's a shame, because the food was delicious, the price/performance ratio was right, and the staff were generally very friendly, which is why I gave it an extra star in my review. Nevertheless, something like that makes the whole visit anything but satisfying. Nevertheless, I would in good conscience say that a visit to Kullmann's would be worthwhile if they advertised things like this better.

There was a table outside, but it was closed. The waitress didn't want to open the table, even though the inside was full. The excuse was that it might start to rain. But the table was under the awning and was dry after the rain. Completely absurd. Deserves a 0.

Completely unacceptable service. We sat at our table for 10-15 minutes without anyone paying attention to us—no menus, no questions asked. Meanwhile, a table right next to us, which arrived later, was served perfectly normally. When I politely asked for the menu, the woman (blonde, short-haired, middle-aged) responded with a dismissive and annoyed tone. If this kind of behavior is considered "hospitality," something is seriously wrong. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. We immediately got up and left.

The restrooms were clean, but they could check more often – little things like paper towels or the smell sometimes make all the difference. The value for money is definitely good; you get good portions at fair prices. All in all, a recommended place for burgers, ribs, and the like – I'd be happy to come back, especially on one of the special days!

A very good restaurant for any burger lover. The staff are super friendly and super quick with orders, even when the place is full. The food is really good, and the portions are more than filling. There are more than enough parking spaces nearby, both on the street and in the parking garage. We'll be back.

Unfortunately I don't understand the positive comments. 15€ for a Caesar salad, the lettuce leaves were not fresh and half the lettuce stalk was also in the salad? The bread served with it tasted like rusks and was just as hard in consistency. That was the first and last time.

So far the best American restaurant in the area. It is American style which I find very nice and cozy. It is advisable to make reservations, especially in the evenings and on weekends. The food is very tasty. A parking garage is available, but for a fee. Otherwise you can park in the residential area for a fee. Finding street parking can be a bit more difficult on certain days.

We waited 35 minutes to order and over an hour for our food. The wings were so-so, but the dips were a disgrace. Sour cream only tastes like butter, honey mustard is just sweet mustard and the toilet paper is thicker than ketchup.

Everything is always great. I was there with 12 other people and we ordered a lot. Our food arrived shortly. Sure, we had to wait a bit, but that's understandable with 12 people who all want to eat at the same time. The food there is so mega, bombastic!

I highly recommend to avoid this restaurant. The experience having a meal with friends at this place was very sad. The manager and part of the staff had unfriendly and rude manners, frequently ignoring our table as well. It definitely felt discriminatory and I agree with other people commenting on this. They were unwilling to serve basic customer service requests and didn't care at all about them. The guy welcoming and allocating customers to the table was the only person actually caring and providing a good service.

Very nice place. We had a smashed burger, chili cheese fries, a brownie (with brownie topping), and a vanilla milkshake + two drinks. Everything was delicious and more than reasonably priced. €40-50 is enough for two people to be full and happy. Highly recommended!
