Di Bello Carmela in Oberursel (Taunus)

We went to Mauk Bistro both on the ninth of March and the week before. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because we didn't get to eat the first time because we were pointed out as rudely as possible about the obvious sign (picture attached below 😂) that food is only available from 12 o'clock and had the feeling that there was a desire to discuss behind the counter. I'm waiting for the second meal with a bad feeling in my stomach. The staff working there is second to none. Especially the lady with black hair. I can only agree with other commenters, the lady is now more than just unfriendly. I experienced this once a year ago. Perhaps appropriate training or another profession would be the right solution. Update: food just arrived, nothing to be treated like that for. It's a massive shame because the bistro itself is quite nice.

Delicious food, excellent service (for a corporate event), a wonderful location, and plenty of parking. However, you need coins to pay for the parking. A thousand thanks to Christine and her team. I highly recommend the restaurant. A must!

Ownership has changed. The previous 5 stars were for the old owner (Soylu). We've also brought the new owner a lot of money and have been satisfied – to this day. Unfortunately, the way they handle legitimate criticism (a fly baked onto the pizza) is abysmal. They try to make you believe that it only landed on the pizza outside while you were eating it. Unfortunately, this is false, because in my photo you can clearly see that it is partially hidden under the melted cheese. Insight? None. Instead, they additionally accuse you of "always having something to complain about." He was probably referring to my last visit, during which I asked about the composition of the bill, as it seemed somewhat implausible to me. After paying by card, I was refunded €8 in cash because they had obviously been overcharged. So that's what the "friendly" junior manager means by saying that they "always have something to complain about." Interesting take! It probably happens everywhere that something gets into the food during preparation that doesn't belong there, and it wouldn't be a big deal. But as a customer, you don't want to be exposed to such insinuations when dealing with the situation, which borders on impudence. It would have been nice if it could continue, but under these circumstances, someone else gets our money. This used to be: The best Turkish restaurant in and around Oberursel. A friendly owner who also practically showers the children with his love (in the form of sweets). The food is so delicious, both the local specialties and the pizza, which is better and more authentic than many Italian restaurants. The prices are in the low to mid-range, with portions that won't leave you hungry.

Schnitzel was ok but not a highlight for the price, especially the sauce wasn't good. The owner was very nice, the husband was rather negative, in the end you had the feeling that he was happy when we finally left. Humor has no place here. Overall, more expensive restaurant visit.

The lounge in Oberursel is located right next to the train station, in the old station hall. The place has a very large selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Theme parties are also held there on weekends. Those who enjoy the charm of the old hall will be satisfied. Everyone has different tastes. The food I had was average. Neither good nor bad. You can tell that it's aimed at the masses.
