I don't know if I would recommend this place... We had arranged to have dinner with friends at 5:30 p.m. We had ordered our food, but it took over an hour. So we asked where our food was, but they just stared at us, and there was no other reaction. After another 15 minutes, our food was finally served. When we asked why it took so long, we received no information. Guests who arrived later all received their food, but we had to wait. The manager came to collect the money. She told us that the other guests had pre-ordered. Where is there a restaurant where guests pre-order by phone? We had also made a reservation. There was a brief apology. I thought we would at least get dessert (2 scoops of ice cream) as an apology, but even that was on the bill. I'm used to a lot of things, but I've never experienced waiting over an hour for food before. We probably won't be visiting this restaurant again. We won't be recommending it either. don't drink alcohol, that's what I said too...

We chose this location for our wedding reception because we've known the owners for many years. Our expectations were more than exceeded. We were warmly welcomed with a champagne reception in a wonderful setting, and the attentive service staff looked after us perfectly throughout the entire celebration. The menu offers a wonderful selection of Italian and Greek delicacies. We opted for mixed appetizer platters for our wedding guests in advance and were delighted with the execution. Each guest was able to choose their own main course from the menu, and everyone commented positively on the quality of the food and drinks. Nothing was left to be desired, and thanks to the welcoming restaurant owners and friendly service staff, we were able to enjoy our wedding reception to the fullest! So, if you're looking for great Italian and Greek cuisine, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, you should definitely plan a visit here.

We're currently staying in a holiday apartment here in town over Pentecost and tried out this really good restaurant. It was quite busy, but we got a nice table. The food wasn't just good, it was outstanding! The friendly nature of the people made a visit truly special. We'll be back.

Recommend: an absolute yes. Two days later, I wanted to go there again. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Tuesday evening. All the dishes were delicious, whether Italian or Greek.

We spontaneously looked for something, called and were able to reserve a table straight away. Whether the service or the food. It was just great. Dear readers We ate there yesterday with a small group and were really impressed. The waiter greeted us warmly and presented the special menu with great passion. He was able to help me very well with my garlic intolerance and also gave our vegan the best advice. The beautiful lighting and pleasant music contributed to an unforgettable evening. The food was super tasty and very large portions. Very fond of children and super nice service staff. The daily menu was also very extensive and a really great addition!! Only the premises are more of a clubhouse than a restaurant. But small children playing don't bother anyone ;) we'll definitely be back!!

The food was good and sufficient, especially the mixed starter was very tasty. The service was very friendly. The restaurant makes a well-kept impression, you can look into the kitchen, which I think is very good. Since it's a village community center, you sit in a hall, which may not be very comfortable, but there's nothing you can do about it. We'll definitely come by again

Amazing, a great culinary offering in this magical little place. A number of highly acclaimed urban restaurateurs can learn a lesson here. We had dinner with 5 people. Both Greek and Italian cuisine. Stephanshausen is always worth a visit for hikers and mountain bikers, and with the excellent DGH there is now one more reason.

We were there about 3 weeks ago. The food was okay, especially the pasta was very good compared to the other dishes. The service was very pushy and almost too friendly, which made me feel really uncomfortable. There are definitely better restaurants for the price-performance ratio with a nicer ambience, a more central location and also more competent and empathetic service.

Our first, but certainly not last, visit after the reopening. No comparison to the past with wool. New, modern and very clean atmosphere, very nice and friendly staff. Food super tasty. Portions plentiful and sufficient. Finally the old and unappetizing tablecloths and decorations are gone. There's just one thing I can't understand: why aren't the old reviews from the previous owner deleted? The food at Ricardo, Costa and his team is in no way comparable to the food from the previous tenant. Fortunately, there is no more talk of this. So you should delete the old reviews.

Es sind neue Pächter am Start, mit italienischen und griechischer Küche. Wir waren zu viert und jedes Essen war sehr gut. Es gibt die normale Speisekarte und Tagesgerichte. Alles ist frisch, wie ein möglicher Blick in die Küche verrät. Auch Essen zum mitnehmen ist möglich. Das Lokal war gut besucht. Es macht Sinn einen Platz zu reservieren!

Bifteki & coleslaw, the coleslaw was without dressing, the befteki wasn't cooked properly, the fries were lukewarm, the rice noodles were overcooked and everything had no/little seasoning and was bland. Prices that are charged do not match the map. Not recommended.

Very good price/performance ratio. Large portions and friendly service. You should only order the schnitzel if you are really hungry :)

We've been meaning to do it for a while. Today we finally got there. We were warmly welcomed and well advised. Today we decided on Greek dishes. We were very satisfied. Next time we'll try the Italian dishes. The pizzas we saw look delicious. We'd love to come back. A prossima!!!

Huge increase with the new tenant. Everything fine.

It was our first time there to eat and we were given a very friendly welcome. We immediately felt at home. We chose Bifteki and Mix Grill Korinth. It tasted great and was very attractively prepared. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The DGH in Stephanshausen has had a new tenant since April 2024. The menu includes Italian and Greek dishes. Served on interesting plates that are also pleasing to the eye. Our group tried pizza, lasagna, gyros and bifteki and everyone really enjoyed it. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable for the portions and the delicious food. It's easy to find for hikers or people from out of town, and there's plenty of parking too. You have the option of sitting outside, in the winter garden or inside.

We are pleased about the new tenant Riccardo since spring 2024, whom we visited for the first time today in the overhauled DGH. Great food and super friendly service make Stephanshausen interesting again for young and old! We are now planning to have our next family celebration there. It's a shame that some negative reviews from previous tenants leave a rather negative impression. Riccardo doesn't deserve that!

The salad was swimming in oil and tasteless, the meat tasteless dry and small portions. The beer is undrinkable, too much gas and tasteless. The only good thing is the service. The offer is small. We won't be back and we were so looking forward to it.

Impossible new operator. Despite reservations, we didn't get anything to eat. Apparently the chefs are on their lunch break. What do you reserve for then?

🇺🇸Found this place doing a Google search for take-away schnitzel while staying at a local hotel to bring back to my infirmed husband. So armed with the confidence of my Google-informed decision, I went over there on a Tuesday night. To say this place has an everybody-knows-your-name “Cheers” vibe is an understatement. I wish I spoke German so I could have slipped in less conspicuously. The cook/barkeep/proprietor personally handled my order (language barrier and attempted credit payment faux pas) with warmth and hospitality. Back at the hotel, I uncovered THE MOST DELICIOUS schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and potatoes. The portion was more than enough to feed the two of us. Danke! danke!danke! I highly recommend and wish we could have eaten in and enjoyed a beer with it. Read about the dragon. It’s a fun story.

In Google reviews such as these, you often hear people praise the variety that any establishment has to offer. This restaurant, to challenge this belief of quantity over quality, offers very little. The menu consists of coke, fanta, lemonade or beer to drink, and a schnitzel, cordon blue or pork steak, each offered in a few different manners. But it is in this manner that the dishes manage to shine; they are hand-made, and prepared with both love and mastery. Furthermore, the sizes of these few dishes on offer are astounding. To top this all off, the staff is charming (even if it only consisted of the owner when I visited, who is a genuinely delightful man) and the place itself looks quaint-- even if the statue of a dragon right in the middle of the terrace looks a bit odd at first glance, the story that it tells is rich. This is not some Michelin star-esque restaurant with small dishes, consisting of ingredients and flavours you have never heard of. It's simple and polished to perfection, and a place I definitely would not have wanted to miss out on.

Eigentlich nur zufällig vorbeigekommen wegen Regenpause beim Wandern. Dann sah das Essen aber so phantastisch aus, dass wir das Tagesgericht Rouladen mit Klößen gegessen haben und es war super!! Auch die Schnitzel der anderen Gäste sahen super aus. Der Chef kam persönlich aus der Küche um uns den weiteren Weg zu erklären. Alle dort meganett, kommen gerne wieder😊👍

Sehr aufmerksamer/familiärer Service, qualitativ sehr hochwertig weil fast alles noch selbst gemacht und kein Tk wie es heute fast die Regel ist

Die besten Steaks im Umkreis Der Gar-Grad stimmt immer. Das ist leider selten heut zutage.

Einfach empfehlenswert!! Essen Preis Leistung wirklich Klasse, wer hier nichts findet und satt wird ist nicht zu befriedigen. Die Bedienungen sind auf Zack und der Wird ein echtes Urgestein. Man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl und ist gut aufgehoben. Es gibt auch einen Saal und die Sanitäreinrichtung ist großzügig und Blitzblank. Biker sind auch gern gesehen, der Wirt ist selbst Biker. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Selbst Sonderwünsche werden berücksichtigt, einfach fragen wenn man was auf dem Herzen hat. Wir werden auf jeden Fall dort nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Ein Lob auf die Crew, einfach urig und stimmig.

Leckere Schnitzel und Schöne neue Terrasse

Geisenheim町は町内の各地域（合併された旧町村）住民のための集会施設（コミュニティセンター）を設置している。ここはStephanshausen地区のセンター。写真のロゴマークは、Hessen州内に多数設置された村落コミュニティー館のロゴで、この施設が州の補助金を受けて建てられたことを示している。

Lecker Essen uns sehe freundliche Bedienung

Das Lokal hat für mich das Ambiente der 60erJahre verbunden mit einem Touch Durcheinander. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Essen (Rumpsteak) sehr lecker. Auf Allergiker wird Rücksicht genommen. Preis/Leistung durchaus ok.

Wir waren vor einiger Zeit immer mal hier essen und recht zufrieden, nachdem wir jetzt aber dreimal in Folge vor verschlossenen Türen standen, ohne Hinweis auf der Homepage oder ähnliches, sparen wie uns den Weg zukünftig.

Gar nicht schlecht, was die Küche hier anbietet: Schnitzel und Steaks, aber auch andere gute Hausmannskost zum günstigen Preis. Die Einrichtung kann man getrost als renovierte Rustikalität bezeichnen, und die Auswahl an Weinen könnte für den einen oder anderen ausbaufähig sein. Trotzdem bleibt am Ende des Tages das Lokal eine Empfehlung für diejenigen, die es einfach und unkompliziert mögen.

Das Restaurant ist rustikal eingerichtet mit einem Ofen für den Winter. Da es heute Ende April gerade schneit ist es innen super kuschelig warm. Für den Sommer gibt es eine Terrasse. Alles sehr ordentlich und sauber. Ich hatte einen Salat und ein Cordon Bleu. Beides super lecker. Das Cordon Bleu war für mein Verständnis richtig groß. Wer (viel) mehr Hunger hat kann die große Schnitzelplatte oder das Monster Steak nehmen. Habe ein Foto von den großen Gerichten hochgeladen. Das ist aber die Ausnahme, es gibt viele andere Gerichte und auch Kindergerichte. Ich fand es hier alles in alles sehr gut und die Bedienung war auch klasse.
