Nice, small, simple restaurant. We had the buffet, we liked the lamb palak, pakora and lentil dal best.

What is the German food department doing? I'm surprised..!! As an Indian I'm ashamed of this restaurant. As soon as u enter u are greeted with a stinky rotten smell. The quality of food is even worse. In the name of biryani, they served Maggie masala 🤣🤣. And Momos were just flour in their raw form. Normally I don't leave any reviews. This is my 1st time I had to let my experience out and get this restaurant blacklisted. Lebensmittel-, Bedarfsgegenstände- und Futtermittelgesetzbuch (LFGB), or the Food, Commodities and Feed Code should clearly take action on this restaurant.

really great Indian. very tasty, very inexpensive... simple and casual. However, you have to be careful to mention that you may not want your food to be spicy. otherwise it will be fiery

Very tasty Indian food was eaten there for the first time and definitely not for the last time. The price was ok and the taste was very tasty. Unfortunately the rice was very soft but that's a matter of taste. We would love to come back 👍👍

Here you get something for your money. The daily special (just under €8) includes not one, not two...no even three dishes! Something like this is unparalleled anywhere in Halle! What's more, the fun is cheap and fills you up! Where can you find something like that? Drinks are comparatively really cheap (and delicious)! The Mango Lassi is particularly recommended 🥭 There are a few vegetarian options, although I can't recommend the dal. But that may also be a matter of taste. But what I liked best was the wall design - it's really an eye-catcher and reminds you impressively which city you're actually in. In order to try out the whole range, I'll probably have to stop by 1-2 more times 💮

The food is super delicious. I would say it tastes like authentic Indian food. “Super tasty”. Conditions are super friendly and the boss takes care of all the customers 👏 for that 10/10. The restaurant is super cozy and the decoration and atmosphere has an Indian touch. My particular favorite was paneer Machurian but everything I've eaten so far tastes bomb delicious. In any case, I recommend anyone who wants to try Indian food because if you come here once, you will of course come back.😊

Top food and also large portions. The employees are friendly and committed. Priced completely okay. Good location right on the market. The building looks old from the outside. Typical ambience inside. Only the toilet and the way there are not that great.

The first visit was successful. The food was tasty and was offered in three different seasonings. The selected "mild" was a bit too mild for me, which is why I had to add some seasoning. The portion was quite large, the service was friendly and the price-performance ratio was good. Gladly again.

We ordered online here... I've actually eaten spicy food many times, but what is meant by "spicy" here is definitely understood as "very spicy" for us. The curry would have tasted good if we hadn't vomited after two forkfuls. And the butter chicken is so sweet... never had such butter chicken at an Indian restaurant. We are really disappointed and will not eat here again.

Ich war heute beim kleinen Inder und hatte das Chicken Bhunna in mild - man hat die Wahl zwischen mild, scharf und sehr scharf. Und was soll ich sagen, dass Essen ist ein Traum und zergeht einem buchstäblich auf der Zunge. Die Speisen sind authentisch gewürzt, die Bedienung ist freundlich und es gibt einen süßen kleinen Außenbereich.

We were here again on Thursday. This time 5t (3 adults and 2 children). We had the Tali of the day 3 times, where you choose 3 of the 6 dishes and get a sample of them, plus rice. We also took the appetizer platter. As always, everything was delicious and we couldn't finish it all. The only thing I don't like is the mango lassi, it tastes very artificial. The prices are very fair (we paid €60 with a tip) and food and drinks arrive quite quickly. Only some of the waiters' German could be better; they had slight communication problems twice, including on Thursday. Unfortunately, you can tell that the restaurant was once a snack bar, the entrance area still looks like a kebab shop. Otherwise it is nicely furnished and everything is clean.

Very good food. Ordered chicken lollypop, palak paneer, garlic naan and gobi pakoda from their website. Ordering through website was difficult but through call was very good. Quick delivery and polite behavior. Will surely continue ordering here. 5 stars for the above. Chicken biryani is 1 out of 10. If i had tried it first, i might not have ordered again. Only North indian food recommended.

The food was delicious. You can choose the level of spiciness and the staff was very attentive. Yoghurt is served with all spicy dishes! We recommend!

Got here on a quiet evening, but very friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the food was very good. If you ask for spicy it’s actually spicy. Would definitely recommend if you crave Indian food, and you happen to be in Halle. 👍

We ordered Shahi paneer, Malaikoftha, Gobi Manchuria. Gobi Manchuria - excellent Shahi paneer- Good Malaikoftha- very sweet and gravy is not good. I feel all the curries are very sweet. U don't need that much sweet in curries. Rice and Nan are good. Mango lassi is salty and sweet. No one adds salt in mango lassi. I felt like I was filled with sweets after having lunch.

For me the best Indian restaurant in Halle!! The food was fantastic and the service was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We sat outside with a great view of Halle's city center. A great insider tip with a great ambience. In any case, we will come back and look forward to trying out new delicacies.

Impressive Indian restaurant with a wide selection of authentic dishes! The flavors were excellent and the staff was extremely accommodating. The decor was cozy and the atmosphere was inviting. A particular highlight was the butter chicken, which was tender and full of flavor. Overall, an excellent culinary experience that I would definitely recommend!"

Unprofessional staff. After my food delivery was an hour late, they stopped picking up the calls. This was after they assured me that food is out for delivery already. The restaurant started as good but in last three months I have had several bad experiences. Not recommending or visiting this place any more.

Me and my Indian homies went to this place and ordered - Chicken vindhalu Butter Chicken Butter Naan Gopi pakora Paneer Butter Masala ( Vegetarian ) Rice Rice, Butter chicken, Paneer Butter Masala Butter Naan was nice 🤍🫧 The quantity of rice was low 😔 Regarding other dishes we tried, Gopi pakora and Chicken Vindaloo was not that much nice. If you are person who like sour taste then try Chicken Vindaloo if not, please don't 🙂. The cauliflower of the Gopi pakora was not cooked properly. Other than these, I don't see any cons. The atmosphere and people in the restaurant were also gut 🫧.

I ordered some mutton Biriyani Today, and it’s not Mutton Biriyani , It’s rice with 3 small pieces mutton. Normally their food is good but according to the price of mutton biriyani they should think about putting some mutton as well. I’m just upset today

We ordered there for the first time yesterday and it was really bad. The right dishes were delivered in large portions. But the quality was subpar. The food hardly smelled of spices, but was inedibly spicy (order spicy, otherwise it always works). Despite taking fewer bites, I developed stomach problems. The "fresh vegetables" were a cheap frozen mix. The sauces were flavorless and had little texture and the meat appeared to have been cooked separately before being diced and added. The butter naan was chewy and not made with ghee. As if grandma had a Brigitte recipe "Indian-I bet you have everything for it at home?" cooked. Bah.

Ein kleines Restaurant am Rande des Marktplatzes. Vom Ambiente her wie ein Imbiss, zum Mittag gibt es wechselnde Menüs zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Geschmacklich lässt sich noch einiges steigern.

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung an diesem Ort. Wir haben als Familie das „All you can eat“ gegessen und erstens ist es nicht alles, was man essen kann, weil es nur 6 kleine Gerichte gibt, die je nach Tag ausgewählt werden. Ich würde es eher als “Menü” betrachten. Andererseits ist der Kundenservice sehr schlecht, denn keiner der Kellner sprach weder Deutsch noch Englisch und verstand nicht, was wir bestellten, also mussten sie einen Kunden um eine Übersetzung in ihre Sprache bitten. Was das Essen angeht, gab es nur sehr viele Soßen mit sehr wenig Hühnchen und ansonsten waren sie kalt. Kurz gesagt, wir werden nicht an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

Sowohl beim Liefern als auch im Restaurant sehr freundlich und menschlich. Wer „sehr scharf“ bestellt, bekommt auch sehr scharf (zumindest für den deutschen Gaumen). Bei vielen indischen Restaurants ist das sehr scharf gefühlt nich so wie man sich das denkt :)

Wir waren mit der Familie bereits mehrfach da und es hat uns jedesmal sehr gut gefallen. Der Service ist klasse und das Essen war super lecker. Wir haben viel über Indien erfahren und uns sehr nett mit dem Personal unterhalten. Auch hatte man immer ein offenes Ohr für die Wünsche unseres Kindes. Sehr gern besuchen wir das Restaurant wieder.

Food was decent, and somewhat authentic.

The food is tasty and very close to the real Indian taste. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. I deduct 1 star because their toilets are very dirty and the doors to the toilet don't really close. Also, the taste of curries is not consistent. One day it's brilliant, the other day it just tastes mhhhh. I highly recommend their chola bhatura, mango lassi and the Indian chai. They make it the best in Halle. Their thali is also good and filling. There is a curry in their thali - 'kadhi pakora' (vegetarian) which tastes exactly how it is cooked in Indian homes. I absolutely love it. It's a bit sad that it is not offered as a curry in their menu but is only part of the thali.

Der kleine Inder braucht sich nicht zu verstecken! Zu angemessenen Preisen gibt es super lecker gekochte indische Gerichte. Vom Manga Lassi über frische Pakoras hin zum Korma - alles war einfach super lecker. Die Portionen waren gut sättigend. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Ein mega süßes Restaurant mit authentischen Köchen und eine sehr netten Besitzer. Er nahm sich viel Zeit für alle Wünsche. Für 13.90€ bekommt man *all you can eat* und es ist sehr sehr lecker. Ich kann es nur sehr empfehlen ,dort vorbei zu schauen und einfach zu genießen. Wir sind immernoch sehr begeistert und freuen uns auf das nächste mal

Durch Zufall beim schlendern durch die Stadt entdeckt. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen. Freundliche Bedienung, Sitzmöglichkeit drinnen und draußen. Optisch erinnert es an einen Imbiss, aber man kann dennoch sehr gut sitzen und verweilen. Das Essen - einfach super! So lecker und super zartes Fleisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der inzwischen beste Inder in Halle. Ich empfehle jedem das Thali (3 aus 6 Gerichten von Mo bis Sa, alle 2 Tage wechselnd) für 7,90€. Die Portion ist groß und schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Aber auch von der Karte ist es mehr als wert und jederzeit einen Besuch wert.

Essen war in Ordnung, Ambiente gleicht einem Imbiss, nichts wo man sich länger aufhalten kann. Bedienung war freundlich.

Schade, dass das Gemüse nicht frisch, sondern Tiefkühlware war. Der Geschmack war gut, die Schärfe kann man auswählen. Zum Essen gibt es Reis und Naan, auf Nachfrage auch als Ingwer-Naan.

Authentisches, leckeres indisches Essen. Das Beste seit langem ! Nette Bedienung und schöner Freisitz mit Blick auf den roten Turm. Faire Preise. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!
