Located directly on the swing bridge, beautiful view, good food, friendly operators and employees.

Made a reservation for 12 people at 6:00 PM, we were very welcome at 7:30 PM, the owner said. We arrived right on time. Then an hour later we were able to place our first order. Then waited half an hour for the drinks while they were being served on the bar. After politely asking for the drink to be served, the owner asked if we wanted to complain. We then asked again to serve the drink, after which the owner asked: Or do you want to go? After which we left unanimously with 12 people. We were then warmly welcomed at Jessqs Pizza Haus! Had a delicious meal here!

It was ok to stay there for a few days, it was clean... but it really needed to be renovated urgently, everything was "outdated"! Of course a bit noisy due to the cobblestone street, but it didn't bother us too much. But on the other side is the beautiful lake. There are a few parking spaces behind the house. Breakfast: everything was there, but scrambled eggs from a tetra pack don't work at all, rolls are also better! Waitresses should think about their own hygiene measures and not necessarily sneeze into the orange juice carafe!

Since we weren't overnight guests, we can only rate the evening in the restaurant. And honestly - 5 stars aren't enough. The food was extremely delicious. I had beef roulade, red cabbage and fried potatoes. 2 pilsners from the tap and finally a himbi. Guys, the quality of the food here justifies every price on the menu. I'm happy to pay the excellent price for such superbly prepared dishes. My partner had Viennese veal schnitzel with beans and fries. He also raved about this excellent cuisine. I would like to take you to Bawü (Baden-Württemberg) ❤️ 🫶

Das Essen war mittelmäßig und wie die Vorgänger schon beschrieben, viel Panade und zerriges Fleisch, die Soße von den Muscheln versalzen. Nun zum Personal: es müßte eine Minus 5 geben, in einem derart hochpreisigen Restaurant einfach nicht zu fassen, ich wollte Bratkartoffeln statt Pommes, es war eine Odyssee, um ein Essen zu stornieren hätte der Chef anwesnd sein müssen, war er aber nicht; die zwei mitgebrachten Hunde wurden keines Blickes gewürdigt, geschweige ihnen Wasser angeboten. Das Haus ist auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert!

We sat outside with a great sunset. The food came quickly but unfortunately almost cold. The fries weren't great. Salad, mushrooms and beef fillet were so-so... An ice cream sundae as dessert for €10 with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, cream and supposedly hot cherries left a lot to be desired. It's a shame but unfortunately true.

At 8:02 p.m. as a new guest you are asked “if you would just like something to drink”, our answer is “no, we would like to eat something else”. This was followed by: “We have the closing time and the kitchen is closed at 8 p.m.” That's a bad joke!

So the hotel is getting old. The showers need to be cleaned of mold, the rooms also need to be renovated. The parking spaces are very bad throughout the town, you can only stand for 4 hours, very unfriendly to tourism. The breakfast lady was sugar! 👌🏻 Even came to the table with a small tray full of goodies for breakfast! The restaurant is in a great location, but that's about it. Had dinner. As soon as we ordered, the food was already on the table 🤨. Price-performance does not match here. Prices overpriced in my opinion. There was no explosion of taste in the mouth. Too bad!

But putting tables together as hotel guests was taboo. If the puke was out of the house, the staff felt right at home and every guest noticed that...even for separate bills, the boss wasn't able to respect it...you couldn't treat guests more stupidly

We had lunch there. Everyone enjoyed it (vegetarian, vegan, meat). It's nice that there is a large selection of vegetarian dishes and some people also make sure that legumes are part of the dish. It's lovely to sit on the terrace, right next to the swing bridge.

If you're not willing to cook fresh and from scratch, I don't think you should own a restaurant! It's really a shame because the location is really great! We were here for dinner in the afternoon, so we had free choice of seating and were very happy with it. I had flank steak with fried potatoes and beans. How can I serve asparagus with veal schnitzel after 5 minutes? There was no green asparagus from the menu on the second attempt either. The service wasn't exactly friendly. We booked 7 nights including breakfast. We still have one night! Young, dynamic, nice staff!!! From the girls in the morning shift to the employees in the late shift/evening shift. Price-performance ratio TOTALLY OK!! If I book well and cheaply, I can't ask for a luxury hotel!! Anyone who complains and demands luxury must book luxury and pay for it (-; However, there is NO better hotel location in Malchow for the price! ///Don't want to know what it looks like at home with the "mockers" (-: /// (Always remember - it is not advertised as a wellness hotel) Sure...The owner could fix/have fixed many small things on his own. If you like to be comfortable, this hotel is simply great. It is well located and you can reach everything on foot. The ambience of the restaurant is somewhere between modern and rustic but still has a great atmosphere. The staff is very accommodating and tries to fulfill every wish. The rooms are simply furnished, cold, you want to feel comfortable but one room is there for sleeping, but here too it's great with a small corner sofa and a table. And above all, the bathroom was very clean. Of course, everything good has bad sides too. But let's be honest, just because the TV is getting old doesn't mean you can die from it 😜. The breakfast is very lavish, very rich and enough to fill even the hungriest person. For me anyway, I would love to come back.

Samstag abends noch reichlich Platz. Keine Reservierung erforderlich; wir wissen jetzt warum. Die Lage ist top. Allerdings mußt du entfernt parken, falls du mit dem Auto kommst. Innen ganz nett, Service freundlich und verbindlich. Wir waren zu Viert. Durch AußenTafel animiert hatten 2 von uns Duroc-Kotletts. Schade, schade, schade! Die Kotletts waren üppig und hatten ein schönes Grillmuster; aber leider total trocken und über-durch. Hart und schwer zu schneiden. (Möglicherweise lange schon vorbereitet und dann warm gehalten.) Die beiden anderen Gerichte waren nicht toll, aber soweit wohl o.k.

Wir waren nur Abendessen. Preise sind zu teuer für das Geschmackserlebnis. Essen hat nicht geschmeckt, frisch gekocht kann man das nicht nennen und es war auch zu wenig auf dem Teller für das Geld. Die Küche ist nicht geschlossen, man kann hineinsehen und der ganze Raum hat schön nach braten gerochen. Kleidung duftete zuhause immer noch. Würde ich ganz klar NiCHT weiterempfehlen!

Tot 21:00 open maar nadat ik aangaf alleen te zijn was de keuken toch ineens dicht. Meest achterlijke behandeling welke ik ooit heb meegemaakt.

Sauberes Hotel mit nettem Personal. Das Zimmer war etwas altbacken, dafür aber sauber und aufgeräumt, für mich der beruflich dort übernachtet hat absolut ausreichend. Abends kann man unten bei einem Bierchen speisen, Portionen sind ok aber könnten für den Preis größer sein, geschmacklich ganz gut👍🏼

Wir haben heute Abend das Rinderfilet und das Kotelett vom Duroc - Schwein gegessen. Beides war aller erste Klasse!!! Super aufmerksamer Service! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Essen sehr gut und preislich völlig ok.

Der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel war vom Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis sehr gut. Hunde sind willkommen! Das Essen ala Speisekarte, sowie das Frühstück war klasse! Servicemitarbeiter sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Vielleicht könnte man in Zukunft den Teppich der Zimmer austauschen... Aber rund um hatte man alles was man braucht.

Der INSULANER, Die Tintenfischringe mit hausgemachten Aioli sind SOOO LECKER. HAMMER. Erster Weihnachtstag und ein kleines "Amose Geule"..... Gerne wieder

Waren zum Essen da - hervorragende Küche

Wir hatten 3 Essen und leider waren alle 3 total versalzen. Schade um das schöne Fleisch. Preis Leistung beim Essen stimmt überhaupt nicht. Lillet wild berry war fast durchsichtig und ohne Beeren.Nur der Nachtisch und der Service waren gut.

Ein gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten jeweils eine Vorspeise, daher waren die Hauptgerichte für uns nicht zu schaffen, die Portionen sind sehr reichlich. Uns hat es gut geschmeckt und gut gefallen und können es nur empfehlen.

Ungenießbar Wir hatten eine Gänsekeule, Rotkohl, Rosenkohl, Grünkohl und Kartoffeln. Eigentlich hätten wir schon stutzig werden müssen, bei der Vielzahl des Angebotes. Frisches Koches ist dabei eher nicht zu erwarten und natürlich bestätigte sich diese Befürchtung auch. Der Grünkohl war ungenießbar, die Kartoffeln schmeckten alt, der Rosenkohl verkocht und überwürzt. Die erste Gänsekeule ging zurück, da sie total verbrannt war. Der Kellner meinte noch, dass es immer so wäre. Also, ganz ehrlich, bis auf den Tee, Wasser und Alsterwasset hat leider jedes Gericht eine glatte 5-6 ( absolut durchgefallen) verdient

Das Personal ist super, freundlich und versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und wird an den Tisch serviert und auch hier werden Wünsche seitens des Personals erfüllt! Da es sich um einen Kurort handelt und die örtlichen Gegebenheiten dementsprechend sind, sind ausreichend Parkplätze im Ort vorhanden, welche fussläufig innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar sind. Wir können Alles in Allem viele negative Rezessionen nicht nachvollziehen und kommen gerne wieder bzw. können das Hotel „Der Insulaner“ weiter empfehlen!

Super 👍 es gibt nichts zu meckern , die Zimmer sind sehr schön 😍 das Personal versucht wirklich jeden Wunsch der Gäste zu erfüllen und die Preise sind moderat und und angemessen 👍 natürlich darf man nicht vergessen es handelt sich um einen Kurort und es gibt hier ausreichend Parkplätze die nicht direkt am Hotel sind aber mit etwas gutem Willen und ca. 5 Minuten mehr Zeit ist das alles kein Problem 😉👍 ich bzw wir sind sehr zufrieden und können einige Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen .

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstages mit 10 Personen dort essen.Das Essen kam gleichzeitig für alle,es war sehr gut,das Fleisch war auf dem Punkt gebraten,das Essen war gut gewürzt und angerichtet.Das Personal war sehr freundlich .

Soweit okay. Der Salat mit Hähnchenbrust war gut. Schnitzel mit Pommes Frites und grünen Bohnen etwas schwächer. Dabei war das Schnitzel wirklich gut, die Pommes grottenschlecht. Die Portion insgesamt etwas zu klein. Mit anständigen Pommes und ein wenig mehr Speck an den Bohnen wären auch 4 Sterne möglich gewesen. Update aus 2023: Ein Stern mehr ist es geworden! Rundum gutes Essen. Wir waren 2x in einer Woche dort. Einmal aß ich Rinderrippchen und einmal das Jägerschnitzel. Beide Male gutes Essen, freundliches Personal. Beim zweiten Besuch war das Essen aber zu schnell beim Gast. Die Geschwindigkeit hatte etwas von Kantinenabfertigung. Wenn man das Restaurant bereits nach 35 Minuten wieder verlässt, hat das keinen Wohlfühlfaktor. Die Beilagen, z.B. Bratkartoffeln oder Pommes dürften gern etwas reichhaltiger sein.

Ein tolles Restaurant, netter Service, Preis-Leistung könnte besser sein, aber für den einmaligen Besuch ok

Ein süsses Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal,guter Küche. Wir und die Hunde haben sich sehr wohlgefühlt.

Die Lage ist super, der Service und das Essen (97. Geb/ a la card) nicht zu empfehlen. Auch wenn die Preise moderat sind, kann man sich Mühe geben.

Ein sehr schönes zentrales Hotel mit einem guten Restaurant. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und der Service ist zuvorkommend. Einziges Manko war die Pflastersteinstraße direkt vorm Hotel. Diese hat man, bei geöffneten Fenster im Zimmer,in der Nacht, gut gehört. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Duroc Kotelett, was eine echte Offenbarung.

Wer mit Lautstärke mitten in der Innenstadt am Hafen kein Problem hat, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Waren heute hier Eis essen und waren sehr zufrieden.

Gott sei Dank lese ich nie Rezensionen. Ein so nettes Restaurant in einer perfekten Lage, direkt an der Drehbrücke. Alle Kellner im Service, wirklich alle, sind super nett und äußerst zuvorkommend. Es gab ein Missverständnis bei meiner Bestellung, aber überhaupt kein Problem. Der Kellner gibt uns ein Schnäpschen aus, das wir gemeinsam mit ihm genießen. So geht Service! Wir waren zweimal da und kommen gerne wieder.

Gutes Restaurant mit sonniger Terrasse direkt an der Drehbrücke. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und wirklich auf zack. Das essen war richtig lecker, nur die Portion war diesmal sehr überschaubar, dafür aber moderate Preise und trotzdem sehr Empfehlenswert.

Schöne Sommerterrasse, gutes Essen, schneller und freundlicher Service. Auch ohne vorher zu reservieren, einen Platz bekommen. Bei den heutigen Einkaufs - und Energiepreisen, sowohl hohen Personalkosten, sind die Speisen, und Getränkepreise moderat.

Das Essen entsprach nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Matjes (. 1 Hering halb aufgeschnitten noch mit Schwanzflosse) für 17.90 Euro. So verprellt man Kunden. Kaum ein Preis unter 20,— Euro. Der Knall wurde nicht gehört.

Absolut ausreichend und super Service!

Leider passen die Preise nicht zur Qualität der Speisen. Bratkartoffeln sehr salzig und leider nicht essbar und dazu noch mit komplett verbrannten Kartoffeln dabei Bei dem Preis der Speise erwartet man frische Champignons, diese kamen wohl auch nur ganz frisch aus der Büchse. Ich kann es nicht weiter empfehlen, es gibt andere Lokalitäten die deutlich besser sind.

Das Schnitzel und der Fisch waren sehr lecker.Leider waren die Champions nicht frisch sondern aus der Dose. Bei Ansprache darauf wollt man uns diese als frisch verkaufen. Das war echt traurig, sie waren definitiv aus der Dose. Hätte man den Hinweis ernst genommen, wären wir vielleicht wieder hingegangen. Gäste aber verscheissern geht nicht gut.

Tolles, schön am Hafen von Malchow gelegenes Restaurant. Gutes Essen, sehr netter Service. Punktabzug weil wir als wir gerade nicht zu Gast waren und unsere 7jährige Tochter zur Toilette musste, einen Euro bezahlen sollten. Bei Erwachsenen vielleicht okay, bei Kindern finde ich das nicht in Ordnung. Passt eben nicht zum ansonsten sehr guten Eindruck.
