We were a group of 11 at the restaurant today. From booking to the meal, everything went perfectly. We had visitors from the USA, and I wanted to reserve a table for 11 at 6 pm, even though I wasn't sure if their flight would be on time and if we could actually get to the table promptly. I was truly impressed by how friendly and flexible the restaurant was with my request. The table was reserved for us, and we agreed that I would call again an hour beforehand. Many thanks to the whole team. Very good burgers, great, fast service, and excellent customer care. A restaurant that truly deserves 5 stars.

A square burger, exactly what you'd expect from a burger. The fries are very good, the service is efficient, and the homemade lemonade is excellent! But personally, the chili cheese fries weren't to my taste, too rich for a young foodie like me, and their ketchup is a disgrace—it's just tomato sauce. Apart from that, it's good.

In my opinion the best burgers in Frankfurt. The burgers are simple but made in high quality. Especially meat is phenomenal. Go to Burger place for weekends. Also on the website they accept reservations maximum 8 ppl. But I called and commented as well, and they reserved a table for 10. So very good service too.

Burgers were really tasty and they also have an option for a gluten-free bun. Which was a little bit dry, but at least there was the option. I find it a little bit expensive for what it is, since not all of the burgers come with the fries, but you have to order them separately.

Perfect. We were there with six people after the 2025 Marathon. Everything was great. Six burgers (two veggie) were perfect. House fries and sweet potato fries were first-class. With the loaded fries, you should order them with house fries, in our opinion. But that's really a matter of taste. The dips were great, ketchup and Joppie sauce were first-class. The chili mayonnaise really packs a punch. As for drinks, the ice tea and lemonades are highly recommended. Service was very attentive, friendly, and pleasant. Ambience: nicely and stylishly decorated. It was quite loud at first because there was a children's birthday party with 20 children there. But it was also kind of fun. The only downside: we sat by the window opposite the bar. It was really chilly and drafty there. So if you're freezing, you should sit somewhere else. Restrooms very clean. Unfortunately, no changing facilities. Overall, a clear 5 stars, we'll be back.

We stopped by the Bullen on a whim. The tile wall makes the ambiance a bit chilly, but that's a matter of taste. The food was not only ready super quickly, but also incredibly delicious. You can taste the high-quality ingredients. Truly great burgers.

Until recently, it was Frankfurt's best burger joint, but unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. The crispy chicken burger suddenly features tough meat and curry sauce (the menu still lists it as Sriracha mayo). Customers can't understand why they're suddenly changing established dishes. It's a shame.

The food is okay, but there are definitely better burger joints in Frankfurt. It feels like they're using cheap, ready-made products. The ketchup tastes like pasta sauce. Overall, it's okay, but I'd choose a different burger joint next time. It was annoying that we came especially because a friend is gluten intolerant, and the restaurant advertises gluten-free burger buns. When we tried to order, we were told they were out of buns.

It used to be much better. The bread is dry and crumbly, apparently they were cutting corners. But the patty is also smaller than before. This used to be my favorite burger place, but now it's unfortunately just average. What a shame!

My experience was very bad, the workers were not clean and very dirty

We were still a bit hungry on Saturday evening and opted for the Fetten Bullen (Fat Bull). The chili fries were delicious, but my apple wine was warm and tasted very strange. I sent it back and ordered a beer. We waited a long time for the fries. When we asked, we were told they had been moved to another table. Eventually, they arrived.

Four of us dined at the quaint Bullen on Oeder Weg. We had made a reservation online in advance, which worked out perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious; I had "The New Truffle" with an extra fried egg, as well as the chili cheese fries. It was an absolute delight! And with that, an ice-cold watermelon iced tea – delicious. ;) We'll definitely be back!

We sat outside in the summer. Since the seating is right on the street, the ambiance is a bit lackluster. The food was a mixed bag. The meat burgers were good, although the patties were cooked too long for my taste. I wouldn't recommend the vegan burger, as it was very dry. Both the patty and the buns were dry. The fries were fresh but only medium crispy and underseasoned, as was the coleslaw. The service was fast and friendly.

We ordered five burgers, some fries, and onion rings on the evening of August 9th using Uber Eats. (Order #CBFD5) The order was completely missing fries and onion rings. We were shocked, and I immediately filed a complaint about the missing items. Uber issued a refund for the missing items. However, the order arrived very late, and we discovered there were other issues with the food. 1. One burger wasn't the same one we ordered. We had ordered a falafel burger, but a different burger instead. 2. All the burgers were cold. I've complained about this too, I think 4-5 times so far, and each time the case is closed because Uber says they've refunded my money. Well, they did refund me the money for the missing items. But charging us a total of €51 for a fake burger and cold burgers is outrageous.

I went to Der Fette Bulle for a burger and was blown away. The burger was truly exceptional, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with high quality meat that had zero flaws. The menu offers plenty of choices, and besides the great burger selection, the sides are varied and cooked well. I also tried their homemade lemonade, which was refreshingly fresh, and their house made tomato sauce, much tastier than regular ketchup. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, each offering a pleasant atmosphere. The location and accessibility are excellent, making it easy to reach. If you're looking for a top notch burger experience in Frankfurt, this place is a must. Seriously good food with solid quality and friendly service.

Today we ate at "Der Fette Bulle," and as a vegetarian, I was drawn to the special combinations for vegetarians (with avocado or feta cheese). ☺️🍔 I chose the promising feta pesto burger (it probably had a slightly different name☺️) and I found it incredibly delicious! It's great that they don't just offer a simple "veggie burger," but something truly delicious, new, and fresh. ☺️ I'm deducting one point for the fact that the staff barely checked on us (but that could also be because it's a bit busier on Saturday nights—I totally understand). I would have also liked to have swapped out an ingredient on my burger (not on top), but that would have still involved a charge for another extra—I found that rather inflexible. What a shame! All in all, highly recommended. 😊 We'd love to come back.

I've been to the branch at the train station several times. Today was my first time here. We had the lunch special and an entrecôte. Everything was delicious. However, the portion of fries (both from the special and the entrecôte) has shrunk considerably and is now served in a rather small bowl. Please don't use the obviously 'old' pictures with mountains of fries as a guide. The entrecôte in the pictures (old?) was also significantly larger than the one served to us today. It was probably exactly as advertised in terms of the weight, but if you're really hungry, it's better to choose something else. The service was very friendly.

Best burger place in town, besides Jamy's! Probably the best fries I have eaten. Their homemade ketchup is superb! Lunch specials are also easy on the wallet for a complete meal with homemade iced tea. Update: Menu with current prices uploaded.

We had a crispy chicken with house fries and the Smashed by Streets with skinny skin fries. Quality: The burgers are top-notch. They're very high quality. The house fries are a bit thicker but unfortunately quite dry. The skinny skin fries are just completely dry. I can't recommend them at all. Drinks: The watermelon 🍉 iced tea only tastes like water with syrup. There's not much iced tea. Sauce: The cheese sauce and ketchup were very good. 🤩 Price: The prices are generally okay for Frankfurt. However, there are two points that I find outrageous. Smashed Burger €20.90 - what for? "The Bull" burger costs €14.90 and also has two patties. Unfortunately, I have to express a strong criticism of the surcharge for the gluten-free bun. +€1! Why? I didn't choose my gluten intolerance. This surcharge is discriminatory. This could easily be factored into the general pricing model.

I had dinner there today and I have to say that the burger was truly unbelievably delicious, as were the fries and sauces that came with it. Fresh quark and yogurt sauce on the chili cheese fries and homemade onions on the burger. The meat was incredibly good, with no crumbles or taste of old meat. Everything was incredibly good. It's a shame my beer wasn't cold when it was 37 degrees outside. But if that's the only criticism, I'm fine with it. I'll be back!

I can confirm the food really is amazing, easily the best burger I've ever had...EVER! The meat was seasoned well and cooked perfectly! Note, go for the double layer meat if you can plow down food as it's a generous serving. Otherwise, the single meat options will be adequate for most. The chilli fries were good but the star of the show without a doubt are the beef burgers! Note, they use beef bacon, which I prefer. No pork options on the menu. The male staff working on this night 02JUL2025 was super friendly and welcoming.

Even though there are now some good competitors in Frankfurt, Fette Bulle remains my favorite burger joint. The noise level can be a bit unpleasant at times, so it's not a good place for a first date :)

I have been an avid visitor to this restaurant and have no qualms in saying that they have had the best burgers I have ever had but sadly today’s visit was disappointing. They have made changes to the menu and experience that downgrade the overall experience totally. My favourite burger, Wai Wai Chicken has been discontinued. They have changed the buns or perhaps the bun today was not well done. They used to serve burgers on wooden trays which have been replaced with regular ceramic plates. I hope they bring back at least some of the good stuff. Also kind request to reinstate the Wai Wai Chicken in the menu, hands down the best burger ever.

The service is very, very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, there's a new menu, and the Bürger Avo Chicken has been removed from the menu. Unfortunately, that was my daughter's reason for coming to you. It's now gone. It's a shame. Card payment was possible.

Burgers are really nice, there are different flavours binded together nicely. Portion is good too. Sweet potato fries are excellent. Love it.

A street-side restaurant. We were there in the summer evening, so we sat outside, well protected by the awning. We were able to enjoy the last rays of sunshine. We had premium Angus burgers and a Smash Burger. Both came with super-thin, delicious fries. The burgers were generous for us, but incredibly meaty. I was also able to swap my burger for Parmesan cheese, which I don't tolerate very well. We were full and satisfied.

Incredibly disgusting. The two hairs in the burger can happen, of course. But with the slimy, black, indefinable ball that was hidden inside, I suspect it was intentional.

The food was always good, but I'm not satisfied with the way things have changed. You used to get 4-5 mac 'n cheese balls, but now it's only 3 for about €6, which is €2! I've also had chili cheese fries without cheese. I think that's a disgrace, and I'm actually only disappointed because the bar was set high with my first 15 orders. I wasn't satisfied with the last three. What a shame.

For years, this place has consistently been the tastiest and best burger joint in Frankfurt for me. Today, unfortunately, we were very disappointed for the first time. The bread was toasted black on the inside, practically burnt, and the two patties in the burger were shriveled and completely dried out. It didn't taste good at all. I hope that was just an exception; otherwise, it would be a shame.

I have now been here many times with family and friends. I wish I could give 10 stars. To describe the experience in one word: awesome! The restaurant is very clean and pleasing to the eye, and the employees are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is simply stunning. There is a large selection of burgers and sides. Also possible in vegan and gluten-free. The portions themselves are also really big. Admittedly, the food isn't the cheapest, but the quality makes the price more than worth it. My only suggestion for improvement would be to laminate the paper menu so that you also do something for the environment. Otherwise I'm perfectly happy. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

The restaurant - just on the Main itself - would be an absolute bomb. So the place isn't the one with the most beautiful view, but the food was simply delicious. The best ketchup I've ever eaten in a restaurant🤩. We really enjoyed it and recommend it 100%!!

I don't usually write reviews but I would like to share my experience at this restaurant. The service yesterday we experienced was really not good. 1. During our visit there was an unpleasant situation with a person who harassed us and the table next door. Despite my request for support, this didn't seem to be taken seriously. 2. Our table was only cleared and cleaned after about 15 minutes. 3. The food was also a long time coming and came after about 30-40 minutes. Of the three burgers we ordered, one was wrong and the second looked like it had been inedible for a long time. However, the third burger was fine. Some sauces were also forgotten. At least the service offered to bring us new burgers. 4. Cutlery and napkins only exist there in theory, not in practice. Finally I was allowed to set the table myself. 5. When we went to pay and I commented that the service was subpar, my tip was declined and I received a rather harsh and inappropriate response. I work in service myself and have never dealt with customers like that before. Politeness and respect should be very important, even in stressful situations. I understand that there can sometimes be a wait, but the general rudeness and unprofessionalism of the staff was really bad.

Anyone who wants to wait 45 minutes for their food is welcome to eat here. I can't understand how anyone could ruin such a delicious experience. Either increase staffing or shut down the takeaway business.

Burger very good, salad rather meager for the price and without notice instead of ciabatta - 1 slice of baguette, homemade. Fries would be better, truffle mayo - ready-made mayo with a little truffle oil - no, homemade. Lemon juice, ice cubes, mint, non-carbonated water = disappointing. Therefore only 3 stars for goods, 4 stars for the friendly, careful service. The ambience seems thrown together - brewery, industrial and bar style all rather inappropriate. Quite loud

I recently went to Der Fette Bulle on Oeder Weg and I was thrilled! I had the Fat Bull Burger and the Chili Cheese Fries - and both were simply delicious. The burger was perfectly juicy, the meat was excellently seasoned, and the combination with the fresh ingredients and the delicious sauce was just right. The chili cheese fries were nice and crispy and had just the right amount of cheese. Sharpness could have been a little more ;) There was also super friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I can absolutely recommend the shop and will definitely come back when I'm in Frankfurt again.
