The burger and fries were good. However, the tables could be cleaned more often.

Super tasty burgers (according to my eight year old son the best in the world :-)), an outstanding homemade ketchup and very tasty homemade lemonades. Price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable, the food is rounded off with a great ambience and very friendly service, who always respond to special requests and are also very child-friendly. In short: highly recommended and we are happy to travel 50km to eat here.

A delicious burger, both beef and chicken. With the fries this time I had the feeling that old ones were used because they tasted very greasy and might have been thrown into the fat again. But otherwise a delicious burger.

Service and atmosphere was great. When the weather was nice it was easy to sit outside. The burger was really tasty and so were the loaded garlic fries. The two of us also had the sharing plate. However, I advise against this. For €15.90, the sharing plate was not good value for money at all. It consisted of 85% French fries and sweet potato fries, which was a little disappointing considering the other good dishes... Otherwise I can highly recommend the restaurant.

I won't talk about the food, as the food here is excellent, but the behavior of the staff working here today was unacceptable. I saw them treating the delivery workers harshly and yelling at them. Such conduct is not suitable for people working in a place like this. Surely, I will order from the other branches of this restaurant. I won't talk about the food because the food here is very good, but the behavior of the people working here today was not good at all. I saw them being rude and yelling at the delivery drivers. Such behavior is not appropriate for people working in such a place.

The ambience is nothing special, but not bad. The food is relatively good, but also quite expensive. The price-performance ratio is mediocre. The onion rings and fries with thyme and rosemary are definitely recommended. All in all, you can't go wrong with the fat bull.

Delicious burgers at fair prices. Friendly and courteous waiters, and special requests are also taken into account. Every day there are different burgers of the day. If you're lucky, you can get your dream burger cheaper. Worth a visit!

Burger would benefit from a better bun. Meat and ingredients are ok. Burger is not small. Price ok. The Fette Bulle craft beer is delicious

I visited here after hearing from a local that it was the best burger in Frankfurt. I ordered a chili cheeseburger, and the chili was strong, the cheese was mellow, and the patty was very meaty and delicious! They also have their own brewery, so we got some of their own brand beer. It's the best combination! The atmosphere is bright and lively, with plenty of outdoor seating. We had a great time with friends thanks to delicious burgers and beer!

Crispy chicken, the american burgers were just top of the world. The buns were soft, meats were juicy also the chili-cheese fries are really good. It’s not like any other fries like dry-dry. So moist and juicy. Like this place!

Burgers tasted extremely like beef. I only know this taste from discount stores. Similar to cowshed...Not recommended. Unfortunately. Two citizens 32€ far too expensive. Toilets very dirty.

We had a chilli cheese fries and it was amazing! We also had two burgers the Americaner which was beef burger was perfect but the other one wai wai chicken was not that good so I will only recommend the first two. 😌

We were there as a group. The burgers and the food were great, one or two things would get mixed up and forgotten when served. But it was corrected quickly, it's ok. But: The store advertises air conditioning, but inside it was stuffier and just as warm as outside, even though it was well over 30 degrees and the service said the air conditioning was running. There was no sign of that. A pity.

Tasty meaty and juicy beef burgers with a nice selection of toppings and sides. Patty was slightly too salty for my taste and the desert was just fine.

Despite reserving a table "outside", we had to take a seat inside because preference was given to a larger group outside... Service was super nice, food selection was also good.

After 15 minutes of waiting, you have to clear the table for four, the two of you sitting uncomfortably on the street on a Tuesday during the week during the European Championship game without a television. There wouldn't have been a rush until we ate. Half of the seats outside are still free and the inside is completely empty. You don't feel very welcome as a guest. We went.

The food here always tastes very good. No matter where we go to eat burgers, no one can come close to the fat cop's. The service staff here are always very motivated and friendly. You never have to wait long for anything. I really enjoy coming here and always recommend it to all my friends. You just have to remember that you are in the middle of Frankfurt and have difficulties with parking.

Just a great place with helpful & polite waiters that can also inform you in english. They have gluten-free bun for the burgers and that is extremely tasty. The interior is pretty loudy as for me

I got the Smashburger. Came with two patties and loads of cheese. I think the burger was pretty good, just was a bit underseasoned and kinda dry, not much burger sauce. Otherwise a pretty decent burger. Fries were crispy and tasted great. Service was friendly and fast. I appreciate in Germany as you don't always get that experience!!

The taste of the burger is simply world class. Especially the patty - so juicy, well seasoned and fried to perfection. Our absolute favorite burger. Then the tomato sauce, yummy. The selection is also super good. Only the price of the sweet potatoes is easily convincing, as the portion is often very manageable compared to normal fries.

The ambient was very nice and interesting, spacious with a lot of tables. The service was kind, we had to wait a bit longer to give our order and to pay, but the food came fast so overall it was OK. We had the New York burger and it was awesome! The patty was juicy and crispy, fresh buns, the amount of ingredients was perfect and the consistency of the burger stayed the same the whole time.

The waiter and waitress are very bad. And also respect. And can't speak politely. I have never seen anything so disgusting in Frankfurt

A nice restaurant with nice service. The food was okay for the price but the meat was quite dry. This was the case with the chicken and beef burgers. Otherwise it was well topped and I can't complain about the sauce. Unfortunately only 3 stars because of the meat. However, the homemade iced tea was quite good and so were the sweet fries. The restaurant makes a clean and well-kept impression, except for the toilets, which is why points are deducted here. Overall, a decent restaurant with potential for improvement if the quality is further improved

The Fette Bulle on Oeder Weg is and remains our favorite burger restaurant in Frankfurt. On our last visit we were a little irritated by the employee who had apparently brought his dog with him: the dog usually lay in front of the door, sometimes tried to get into the restaurant and a little later put a large pile of poop on the sidewalk between the tables was removed from the employee in question. It wasn't the presence of the (friendly) dog that bothered us, but rather the very natural alternation between petting the dog, cleaning up poop and bringing food to the guests' table without washing their hands in between. We would have liked a little more hygiene awareness.

Plates are cleared away even though you haven't finished eating yet. Coffee is served with the announcement “watery”. We gave it back after a sip. The bill couldn't be split "because there's too much activity at the moment"... sorry for the price too little service.

Chicken Wing crispy at the same time juicy! 💓 I prefer this outlet to the one near Hauptbahnhof, more cozy! The waiter also served us with nice attitude and smile 😊

My first 5 star review, the food is amazing. Great burgers and fries, the homemade ketchup is amazing. I got both a chicken and a beef burger and both tasted great. They got homemade beverages and they are very refreshing. The chicken wings are also nice. The service in there is really good and they play nice music, which makes the experience very enjoyable. The prices are also pretty decent. Would definitely recommend for a Saturday afternoon.

The restaurant was empty, unfortunately we were greeted sullenly by a new waitress. We wanted to sit at a table outside that wasn't cleared away. Without greeting us, we were reprimanded as to why we were taking the only table that was dirty, and we were also supposed to ONLY sit at a table for two despite the restaurant being empty. The only two customers there were sitting at a table of four. We have eaten there many times and politely informed the other waiter about our concerns, as all the seats were empty and we would like to sit in the sun. Unfortunately the situation was not regulated, so we had to leave the restaurant. A pity.

Excellent burgers and very friendly service and price. I recommend the double patty premium black Angus burger and connaisseur fries. The home made ketchup is really good. Outside seating is on the curb but quite out of traffic and cosy enough, very nice in the evening.

The burgers are really tasty and appetizingly prepared. The meat is great and the cooking wishes are very well catered for! The ambience is stylish, but a little “dirty” and has a youthful, hustle and bustle vibe. The service is tried but inconsistent. Here and there you could be a little friendlier or more obliging. But we'll be back!

Amazing burgers and we were very happy to see gluten-free buns and vegan cheese on the menu. Service was very fast and efficient even during Saturday rush hour! We also really liked the sharing platter which we had as a side to our burgers.

first-class burgers in Frankfurt a.M.! I ordered the "fat bull", which is basically the flagship of the store (there are a total of 2 in Frankfurt, I've also visited the other branch) and I have to say I wasn't disappointed again. The burgers are clearly the strong point. Beef nice and medium, well seasoned, simply top. Bacon very good, salad, sauce and bun also very high quality and tasty, every component tastes good, even the egg makes the burger even better. Special requests are also fulfilled without any problems, we took sweet potatoes with the steak. The meat there was also of good quality, unfortunately we were missing some spice (rosemary?) and it was slightly dry, overall clearly the weaker dish and I don't think it's the specialty of the shop, I've had better experiences elsewhere. The dips tasted a bit unusual and I thought it was okay, but it might not suit everyone's taste. As for the side dishes, the fries were good, but the portion size wasn't exactly huge (but it's totally ok). We also had a side salad, which unfortunately seemed to have been dressed with yoghurt and was very cabbage-heavy. It didn't blow us away in terms of taste, which was a bit of a shame. The iced teas were tasty and good, although lemon was clearly better than melon. Like everywhere else, the price is a bit higher, overall it's comparable to other big cities and the quality is okay, especially for the burgers. But it's definitely not cheap. Burgers are in the 10-20 euro range, sometimes even more in the premium segment. Atmosphere modern and it was very busy when we were there. Really difficult without a reservation, we were lucky. After us, many people waited in line for a seat. Staff extremely friendly and top. Despite the criticisms, I give it 5 stars because you simply won't be disappointed with burgers here and in my opinion it's one of the best burger shops I know. It's really worth it, especially with the high-priced burgers, they are simply incredibly tasty and well made.

Overall, decent food. Service was super nice and the atmosphere was lovely. Compared to the surrounding offerings, it's certainly more of a burger from a restaurant chain.

1 hour drive from where I live. Definitely worth it. One of the best burger restaurants I know. Service is extremely good, not as intrusive as you would find in other restaurants. Waiters all very human. The burgers are awesome. Believe me, every cent is worth it at this store, everything is just right here. You feel comfortable, the food is great. I always enjoy coming here. Sometimes even just for this store

Yesterday my siblings and I met there for dinner. Unfortunately, I had reserved a table for three people at 6:30 p.m. in the wrong location, which the waiter kindly pointed out to me and assigned us to a free table anyway. There wasn't much going on at first, but from 7/7.30 p.m. it was well filled inside and outside. The service was still good, quick & attentive. The burgers were all delicious, whether with meat or vegetarian! Side dishes were also good as were the cappuccinis that followed! The only downside is that if you sat inside, the smells of the food clung to you at the end of the visit. Overall we thought it was great!

One bug shop among many. Nowadays, most burger shops are making an effort to be exceptional. There is a nice menu and the ingredients are good. However, my burger was too dry for me, lots of bread and lots of salad... meat was rather manageable. The cocktail is completely overpriced at 10.90 euros. For two pulls on the straw.....cardboard straw. Here too, there are now great alternatives to cardboard!!!!! Paid a lot for little food and then again, not good. But !! One thing was delicious and that was the smoked beef rib. Now to the room. Tables at the counter are ok, but then you have to make sure that the dishes/glasses you bring with you are put away. It looks very unpleasant when they pile up so haphazardly in front of your face.

The reason why i give 5 star please see the below watch out!! I visited there 4.11th 18:00-19:30 Once I entered the girl who served She gave us corner of table even it was empty so I asked to seat other table but she didn’t give us the place. When the other people entered, they take the table with no problem. It was unfair. 2. When we made a payment, It was 32.3 and we give 35 but the waiter said he doesn’t have change then he just take 35 and go I can give tip but it was not my decision! It’s so rude

Lukewarm burger and fries with stale ketchup in the burger is anything but tasty. I won't go there anymore

The burgers are of top quality, super juicy and the side dishes are nothing to sneeze at either. Highly recommended are the garlic fries and the chili cheese fries (both clearly visible in the picture, but the garlic fries are in the foreground). There are also small mac-n-cheese balls with a crispy shell and a delicate (slightly cooler) mac'n'cheese filling as a starter. The homemade melon iced tea was also very good. The staff was extremely nice and generally you didn't have to wait long for the food. You can sit outside or inside, with a fabulous view of the Frankfurt skyline. Can definitely recommend this place!

Worst restaurant in all of Frankfurt if you want to eat a great burger, eat next door at Peter Pan and the citizens aren't too watery like at Fette Bulle, it really makes you fat and unhealthy in the long run, and the waiter has a ridiculously expensive price for the bad food Can't even give change back. The only good thing was the parmesan garlic fries but I mainly came for the cheese burger and got wet greasy dirt. So only one star because the fries were good, otherwise no stars at all.

Saturday evening is very busy there but that's not an excuse to be so slow in the service. We had to wait 40 minutes between ordering the food and being served. Moreover, serving soft drinks @ 4€ directly by the bottle without a glass & ice is rude or just overpriced. Burgers are decent but nothing outstanding. Overcooked meat as usual in Germany ( I miss the medium rare you can ask for in France) and some advertised toppings on the menu were absent or just in such little quantity I couldn't taste their flavour. Overall quite a hipster place but not the amazing burger joint you would expect from the grade.

I had the Fette Bulle Burger, and it was really good. Better than I expected. In my experience, a good burger is hard to find in Germany. Also the mojito was tasty. The servers were outside smoking, within 3 meters of our table (and our baby), for half the meal. But they were at least nice. We were there at 3pm on a Sunday, so i guess it was kind of down time for the workers. But overall it was a good experience. Food quality made it all worth it. We will definitely go back.

I come to Fetten Bullen at regular intervals to get burgers to go home because I live in the immediate vicinity and am always super satisfied. I once had a not so great experience with a to-go order, but I don't want to blame that because everything else was always great. Afterwards I actually wrote a very bad review (and yes, it's true... I was very angry :-)). But the team reacted so nicely that I didn't want to leave it like that based on my previous experience. (And no, by nice I don't mean a free burger! They were just nice and understanding. I liked it :-)) My favorite is the Crispy Chicken Burger; the Mac n Cheese Balls (?) and the Chilly Con Carne Fries are awesome. The service is always super nice and you don't feel like a troublemaker when you're standing at the entrance and just want to place a to-go order. Looking forward to next time!

The burgers taste good and are nice to look at. Fries and coleslaw were delicious and the sauces served with them were delicious too. Overall, in my opinion, the restaurant is unfussy and therefore has its charm. All service was friendly and quick. Considering that burgers aren't my favorite food, it was good.

Food great! Food came quickly! Unfortunately everything was a bit cramped AND the lady who led us to the table was extremely unfriendly! Booking a table is a must! Unfortunately we had reserved for 4 people and the person assigning us the table felt it was cheeky that we had a 7 year old with us as the 5th person.

Burgers in the lunch menu were okay but nothing special. 2 burgers and 2 fries and a soft drink each for a hefty €40. Rosemary thyme fries 5.90, €1 more than normal fries. But it was really a joke that some herbs were sprinkled on top of these, which meant that the flavor came out in no time, instead of integrating the herbs into the cooking process. The service was slow and everything took forever. A real challenge for a lunch break.

My go to chicken burger in Frankfurt. Its nice a big piece of fried chicken breast. Crunchy and juicy. Outside Seating is nice on sunny days. Home Fries are average, but at least you get Free dips. Service depends on the day.

Dropped by spontaneously in the evening and got a table outside. It was nice and pleasantly warm thanks to the heaters. The service as well as the food was excellent. Own very good burgers and very well priced. Highly recommended.

One of the best burgers in Frankfurt. And also nice design

The burgers are ok, but the buns are a bit dry. The sharing platter is not as huge as described in another review here, but is definitely enough for two people. But we also had other things that weren't on the menu, like these mac and cheese balls, which unfortunately we didn't like. We would have preferred to get a few more of the specified fries or something. Unfortunately, the sauces didn't convince us, only the ketchup was really tasty. Some of the tables are so narrow that you have to move them to get to the back seat. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here.

Waited 60 minutes for food and after 90 minutes you have to leave because the table is occupied for the next reservation. Find the error... Sorry, but the concept is bad! It's a shame, because it actually tastes really good here. The New York Burger is my favorite. The fries are also great, the homemade ketchup is very tasty. The service is mostly friendly and the toilet is okay - sometimes there is a lot of paper lying around, it's wet everywhere and the sink is broken, but at least it's "clean".

The service was outstanding, and it was our first time in Frankfurt. The burgers were amazing, I ordered a Chilli Cheese burger along with Jalapeño cheese fries. All of those were outstanding + the waiters were cool and friendly, definitely a recommendation for newcomers. Cheers.

The food was delicious, and the waiter Rodney was simply AMAZING, just one of the best! Very friendly and he gave great suggestions on the menu.

It has happened again and again that suppliers arrive more than 1.5 hours (today 1:45) after the order was placed. Food then sticky and cold. Inedible. Address is clear. Any navigation system will find it. It's only 15 minutes away! The provider, Fette Bulle, should hire a reliable delivery COMPANY and not send Mr. Costs what? It's better to pay a little more than that. If it happens again, we'll be in the restaurant and get the portion fresh again and for two ;-) The food is very good and the restaurant is recommended…

Best store in the area! The V-burgers in particular are fantastic - even if you're a carnivore, you'll be happy to go easy on the animals!
