The food is delicious, but it's not really a relaxed place to eat... everything feels very stressful. With only four days open and limited space, it's no wonder there are queues, especially with such great burgers. If it weren't for the wait, I'd gladly come more often... maybe consider a larger location...

Daddy's always, without fail, serves the best burgers ever. Everything is just perfect. The service is super friendly, and the fact that the buns are as soft as pillows is no exaggeration – the buns and toppings create a delicious explosion of flavor on the palate – 20/10, simply heavenly. Edit: After two years, I have to revise my review. It's true, the burgers are tasty. Although I've had better burgers at Daddy's than the current one of the month with raclette. But a good place needs to offer more than just good food. First of all, I think it's absolutely ridiculous to offer a meal deal and then not include a drink. Just fries and coleslaw? That's hardly a meal deal! Anyway. Then I'm really starting to get the impression that, to the detriment of the customers, they're deliberately trying to create the impression of a huge rush at all times. We were seated at a table that had been empty the whole time, only 10 minutes after we'd already arrived. Why not from the start? Then, even though I'd already told them we knew what we wanted to eat, the server initially only wanted to take our drink orders. This still leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. I've been to Daddy's many times, sometimes waiting in line for 1.5 hours, and I've always praised and enjoyed their burgers. But this kind of thing will probably make me choose a different place next time.

Totally overrated. The hamburgers are edible, but not something I'd want to repeat. They consist mostly of sauce, which completely overpowers the natural flavor of the meat and other ingredients. The burger prices are reasonable. However, the price of almost €5 for a side of just a handful of frozen fries is highly questionable and disproportionate. In summary, given the hype surrounding this restaurant, a visit isn't really worthwhile. This is especially true if you have to wait in line due to the limited "sold out" concept, which always seems to be very tightly calculated.

I was extremely disappointed with my entire visit. The service was chaotic, disorganized, and generally very unfriendly. You wait in line outside for ages, only to find out that several items are no longer available. After driving for hours, this is incredibly frustrating. It wouldn't take much effort to prepare enough food. Another very negative point: while regular customers have to wait a long time, friends or acquaintances of the staff are simply waved past the line and seated immediately. This seems completely unfair and unprofessional. The food didn't impress me either, so it's definitely not something I would travel that far for again. There are plenty of competitors where you can reliably get a table and actually order what's on the menu. The cleanliness also left much to be desired, especially the restrooms, which were in a poor state. Overall, the concept here just doesn't work for me. I won't be coming back.

I deliberately waited 24 hours before writing this. I didn't want to react emotionally. Now, after some distance, my impression remains the same. I'm happy for your success and the hype. I really am. I know how much work goes into it. But you've developed in a direction that's rubbing many long-time customers the wrong way. And yes, I'm speaking deliberately as someone who's been eating at your restaurant regularly for three years. The atmosphere in the restaurant, the way you present yourself, the constant "sold out," and the preferential treatment of certain people in line while others wait and pay—it doesn't come across as a cool concept, but simply as pretentious. It feels like you don't even see your real regulars anymore. We're the ones paying for your Porsche, and nobody else is ;) If you're selling out every night, then produce more. Period. Make 25 more patties. Make 50 more. In the end, it's just a few buns and a bit of meat. It's not an insurmountable problem. It seems more like you're deliberately creating artificial scarcity and getting a kick out of it. As an entrepreneur, you've been stagnant for a long time, and on a personal level, you're losing touch with the people who actually make your business possible. I hope you wake up someday, because you were once a role model for many people in this field.

The best burger ever, ever, ever! The bun is indescribable, light as a brioche, with a nutty, buttery flavor and a light crispness I've never seen in buns like this before. The bun alone is amazing. Burger of the Month: The Marrow Melt. Such a well-balanced flavor, yet every bite is different. All the ingredients were so thoughtfully considered and executed. Simply superb! 10 out of 5 stars from me! 👍

Not worth the hype. This was our first time here, and we wanted to try the place out. Our verdict: "Never again." 1. Food The burgers were okay. But nothing more. They're definitely not anything special (for the price!). We had the Everyday I am Truffeling and the Daddy. Honestly, we could have made them ourselves at home... or gotten them at a well-known fast-food chain for a third of the price. The portion (burger + fries) was so incredibly small that my boyfriend and I were still hungry after eating. Only the Cajun fries were good and didn't completely ruin our evening. But even here, we had to pay an extra €2 for a dab of ranch sauce (no sauce is included in the €6 portion of fries...). 2. Price The two of us paid more than €50 (burger + fries + drink) and unfortunately, we weren't at all satisfied. The price would be somewhat reasonable if you could at least feel full afterward. My burger was €13.90, my friend's was even €15.90, and for that price, both burgers were shockingly small. If you want to eat a good burger in Trier, there are definitely better options with a better price-performance ratio. 3. Service We stood in line outside the restaurant for 20 minutes. The line was clearly artificially prolonged. Tables were cleared and cleaned (which we could see through the window), but we weren't let in until another 10 minutes later. After that, however, we received our food fairly quickly. Unfortunately, our waiter was anything but enthusiastic. The coasters for our drinks were practically thrown onto our table, and the glasses were simply placed there without a word, leaving us to sort through everything ourselves and hand it to the appropriate person. We were seated right next to the open kitchen and could see the burgers being prepared by the chef at the counter. The service was so slow that throughout our entire visit, 7 to 8 burgers were constantly sitting at the counter for an average of 8 minutes before being picked up by the server. Consequently, our burgers were lukewarm to cold when we received them. 4. Location The interior design is quite cool, but overall it's incredibly cramped, with all the tables crammed together. Overall, I don't think Daddy deserves the hype (anymore?) and will only be getting my burgers from the Porta Westfalica statue in the future...

100% recommended! My friend and I arrived at 2:50 pm on a Saturday, waited in line, and were finally seated at 3:30 pm. Our table was ready within 20 minutes. The service was quick and the waiters were friendly. Great atmosphere with background music :)

Sorry, but this place is just living off the hype. There's absolutely no concept to the restaurant. Aside from what's already common knowledge, there's the brilliant rule that orders aren't taken until the drinks arrive at the table. Things move slowly, but they must have been built yet. After the haphazard distribution of drinks, which was limited to three tables outside, it naturally took about seven minutes before the server finally came to take our order. And let's not forget, that was a process they could have easily avoided. Then, the table of four was asked first, even though we should have been first in line, and knowing Daddy's, it takes even longer to get your burger anyway, but we could have waited what felt like forever. That was the final straw; we only paid for the drinks. There are more than a few burger joints in this city, and I'm definitely never going back to Daddy's. Thanks for wasting my time…

This burger place is simply amazing – super friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, and most importantly: the burgers are fantastic! Freshly prepared, juicy meat, delicious sauces, and perfectly paired sides. You can just taste that quality and attention to detail are paramount here. Love it!

Incredibly delicious! Top 👌👌 Burger

Arrived at 16:55 on Saturday in October (times listed as 13-until they run out of stock). There was a small queue of about 2 groups. They were taken in as we arrived, but we waited about 10 minutes (fine). After us, about 2-3 more groups were shown in, but (we understood later) they then ran out of stock. So as we were in there, the tables started to empty. So they ran out of stock on Saturday about 17:20, and you would need to have been queuing before that. Sat at the toilet end and yes the odour of toilet wafts across the resto. Sat with my kids next to a group of teenagers whose every other word was a swear word. They must have been super cool. Service was fast and efficient but food arrived about 5 minutes after you start to ask yourself where the hell the food is; probably 20 minutes from order. Had American classic, standard chips (yes, I use English) and coleslaw. It all tasted OK; we enjoyed the food. I mean though, how good can a burger be? Mine are pretty good; the main difference, theirs vs mine, is the bread. I use basic supermarket sesame seed buns, theirs is more a brioche style. Now I know how good the supposed best can get, I won't be worrying about missing out again. I'm happy we went for the experience though.

I expected a lot and was very disappointed! 1. Food The burger tasted good, but it wasn't anything special. Furthermore, it wasn't prepared properly. The fries were a huge disappointment. I have to say, I didn't notice any difference compared to the fries from my air fryer. What disappointed me most about the whole meal, however, was the exceptionally small portion. I was there with a friend; we each had a burger and a portion of fries, and we would have both eaten the exact same thing again. 2. Price My meal cost €16.50, and as I said, I wasn't at all full, and neither was my friend. For that price, you get two kebabs, one of which is obviously enough to fill you up. However, if you absolutely want a burger, there are better options in Trier with better value for money. 3. Service I went there several times, and I was surprised that there wasn't a huge line in front of the shop. We went straight in and got our food after about 20 minutes. 4. Restaurant I have to say that for a place that enjoys so much hype, the restaurant is truly awful. It's very cramped inside, as all the tables are close together, making it very loud and difficult to hold a conversation. In summary, I think Daddy doesn't deserve its hype and is resting on its laurels, which is leading to a gradual decline in quality.

The best burgers around—especially the Burger of the Month! Always a pleasure!

The restaurant itself is really nice, and the burgers are generally really good too—you can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. I just find it a shame that the only vegetarian options are a cheese patty or a Beyond Meat patty, which seems to come straight from a package—and that costs €2 extra. For such a hyped-up restaurant, I honestly expected a homemade vegetarian patty. That would be a much better fit for the otherwise truly high standards.

After a long time, we went to the best burger place in Großaktionär. The doors open at 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival at 11:37 a.m., we were there again and could only get the three seats at the counter. The staff were super nice and friendly. Unfortunately, we had to wait 50 minutes for our food, which isn't a problem in general, but difficult with children. The food was really good, as usual. We had the lunch menu with cheeseburger and fries, the monthly burger with pastrami, and the kids' burger.

Purely in terms of taste, it's the best burger I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, the place is too small for the crowds. If you don't feel like it, you'll have to go on a weekday morning, otherwise you'll end up standing there waiting. Despite all of this, that doesn't change the fact that the burger is amazing, and the monthly burgers always add a nice change, so there's always something new.

They serve delicious burgers and IPAs at reasonable prices. Since it's very popular, you might have to be a bit patient.

The Daddy is actually always worth a trip. Only today, actually, because with our usual anticipation and after a journey of 120 km, we found out at 1:30 p.m. (1.5 hours after opening) when we ordered that only 1/3 of the monthly specials were left. Both the crispy chicken and the only available dessert were already completely sold out by that point. We wouldn't have come just for the burger and are accordingly disappointed. In our opinion, as an established restaurant with a catchment area spanning all of Germany, this shouldn't be happening - first come, first served principle notwithstanding. In general, the open until sold out principle is very positive, but to only be able to offer 1/3 of the highly advertised monthly specials after 1.5 hours really leaves us with a question mark this time as to whether the next trip will still be worthwhile and whether the usual quality can be reliably offered.

Simply fantastic atmosphere! They have the best burgers I've ever had. I don't think there's a single burger or dish here that doesn't taste good. My son (7) goes there regularly with me and he loves it just as much ❤️‍🔥 Please keep it up!

At Der Daddy, we truly had the best burger we've ever eaten – the fries were also top-notch! Absolutely unbeatable in terms of taste. But: Reservations aren't officially allowed, so we waited outside for 1.5 hours with our 5-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, some guests were allowed straight in – apparently reserved for friends. Furthermore, the table allocation is a bit inflexible: as a group of three, we were skipped, even though some larger tables were occupied by just two people. Conclusion: Great burgers, but organization and service could be better. Those coming with children should be patient. Perhaps two lines would be a solution (also a solution for those with children).

I've been a regular and satisfied customer so far, as I've always considered their burgers to be among the best. However, I'm increasingly disappointed with their business practices. I find the constant advertising for the Burger of the Month particularly annoying. You drive long distances (over 100 km in my case), only to hear by midday that it's sold out. It can't be that your only chance is to show up at the door at 11 a.m. on a weekday—after all, there are people who have to work. It's even more frustrating when you later see on social media that this very "sold out" burger is still being served to a closed group of guests on the same day. It leaves a very bitter aftertaste. This time, the quality of the regular burgers wasn't convincing either. There was a mix-up in the order, and unfortunately, the burger didn't taste as good as usual. Overall, I'm considering whether I'll make the long journeys to you in the future. It's a shame – because you actually have great potential, but the current experience has been very disappointing.

Some people use their lunch break specifically to try the special Pizza Pazzo burger, but it was sold out by early afternoon. This is getting really annoying, so we decided to give Daddy's a longer break. We chose other burgers, but unfortunately, the wow factor was missing this time.

We drove two hours to Trier because we'd heard so much about it and absolutely wanted to try the burgers. It was all the more disappointing that we were simply turned away on the spot, with the explanation that it was a private event. There was nothing about it online or on Google – no notice, no information. Even when we explained that we had come specifically for the shop, the least we could have done was to at least prepare something to take home. So, in the end, it was a 4.5-hour drive and a lot of time – completely wasted. Very disappointing.

In my opinion, one of the best burger restaurants in the world! The quality of the burgers and fries is exceptionally good. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. You're served very quickly, and you don't have to wait long for your food. The whole thing is enhanced by the NYC atmosphere, which makes you feel like you're on vacation. The best burgers I've ever had. I had an OG, Pizza Pazzo, and Cajun fries. The Pizza Pazzo was next level and, in my opinion, belongs on the menu. A soggy bun with Parmesan cheese on top was absolutely fantastic. The patty was pink in the middle. The taste was excellent. The only criticism is that the burgers are quite small. I ordered two and could have had a third. The Cajun fries were crispy and well seasoned. They were also excellent. The service was super friendly. No comparison to the average burger joint; I definitely recommend it!

We went to this restaurant, and now I understand why there's always a long line. Everything was incredibly delicious! The meat was super tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The server even gave us a great tip about what would best suit our preferences—and he was 100% right. Would I go back? Absolutely! Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Despite the wait, we were absolutely thrilled with our visit.

We ate there during the week at lunchtime and got a table surprisingly quickly. Unfortunately, it took over 30 minutes for the wait staff to arrive at our table and the table next door to take our drink and food orders. After another 40 minutes, our burgers arrived. The fries were great, but we personally expected more from the burgers; it wasn't a personal highlight.

Two things ruin every single visit for me, which is why I'll inevitably stay away. 1. The long line, with the constant uncertainty as to whether you'll still get a special burger or whether it's already sold out. Don't get me wrong. If that happens at 5:00 p.m., that would be fine for me. But the last time it was at 1:30 p.m., after we'd already been in line for an hour. It remains a mystery to me how or why they can't offer a burger until at least 3:00 p.m. Simply increasing the quantity of ingredients should be doable, right? 2. They always advertise a medium-cooked patty and "pink beef" – but out of 10 times, I've only had one on my plate once. Unfortunately, the meat was completely cooked every time, even though I'd requested it when ordering the last few times. It's no use to me if in every Instagram video the chef holds up the perfectly cooked burger to the camera and celebrates it, but it ultimately doesn't end up on my plate. It gives the impression that the kitchen is overwhelmed by the volume of orders, which is extremely reflected in the final product. Conclusion: Theoretically, it has the potential for a 10/10. In practice, it gets worse every year. Unfortunately, they're resting on the hype instead of making the concept more customer-centric. Service and quality have suffered greatly since the sheer number of customers, usually turning the actual experience into a complete tragedy.

At Daddy's, you immediately notice the high quality – fresh meat, top-notch ingredients, homemade burger buns, and super-tasty sauces. I've now tried all the burgers on the menu and can say: Every single one tastes amazing! I particularly like the "Burger of the Month" concept and always look forward to trying new creations. The staff are all incredibly friendly and have a pleasant, relaxed demeanor, which makes the experience even better. The ambiance is also super creative and cool, which makes the experience perfect all around. The only annoying thing is that you sometimes have to wait a little longer to get a seat, but honestly: The wait is definitely worth it!

After about 40 minutes in line, we ordered the Wagyu beef burger of the month, along with loaded fries with garlic parmesan and chimichurri. What can I say, the burger tasted heavenly! The bun was buttery soft, the patty had incredibly roasted flavors, and the pickles, onions, and cheese complemented it perfectly. The loaded fries were also absolutely worth the money. Nice and crispy and the flavors were very well balanced! Someone who knows their stuff 100%. Thank you so much for this.

One of the first to be let in at 5 p.m. The burger of the month was sold out again. As has happened 8 times out of 10 visits now. They advertise heavily and can't deliver. Plus, waiting times of over an hour are not uncommon for the food to arrive. Hence only 2 stars for service. The burgers and fries were always amazing.

I went there with high expectations of the "best burger in Germany," which unfortunately weren't met. Sure, the burger was delicious, but I didn't think it tasted any better than at Hans im Glück or Peter Pane. I definitely wouldn't wait in line for an hour again. The Daddy - Always a Pleasure - the name says it all. My friends escorted us to the restaurant after a short wait and we were served promptly. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and there was a cool interactive light display on the way to the restrooms. The food was outstanding, and the Smash Burger, which was also named one of the best burgers in Germany by Holle the Food Tester, lived up to its reputation. The best burger I've ever eaten in my life. It was my first time, but it certainly won't be the last. A culinary highlight for Trier's food scene!

A nice place , good food. Personal more than helpful and kind. In my opinion the only minus is that they don’t have warm water in the bathroom so that you can wash properly your hands. All in all I do recommend the place.

First of all, I have to say that I find it really difficult to write this review. The food is undoubtedly excellent – the taste is of a very high standard. I really enjoy eating here. The staff is also always friendly and attentive. BUT: What unfortunately massively detracts from the entire experience is the wait time. I was there on a Saturday at 12:20 p.m. After two hours of queuing, we were finally able to get in – and then had to wait another hour for the food. It wasn't until 3:15 p.m. that we were able to enjoy our first bites. The concept of just "dropping in spontaneously" simply doesn't work here – it took us half the day. Of course, I'm aware that you have to expect wait times on weekends. But three hours in total? What other restaurant would accept that? I'm not writing this review to upset anyone—in fact, I'd like to see this concept thoroughly rethought, because in its current form, it's not customer-friendly—and simply doesn't do justice to what is otherwise a great experience.

We first went to the "Der Daddy" after an advertisement on Instagram and after reading the latest reviews on Google where many people write that you have to wait around 30-45 minutes to eat the best burger in Trier, this made us curious and we decided to try it this Saturday. After waiting in line for two hours from 12:30 to 2:30, we finally got inside to sit at the bar because there were only seats there (it didn't bother us) but the 30-45 minutes of waiting were until we received our food. And I can say that the food was perfect, but still, the burgers are super good. We will definitely not repeat this experience. It was an experience, we accepted the wait (some gave up waiting in line), and we still waited a long time. If someone had forced us, we certainly wouldn't have stayed. As I said, it was an experience out of pure curiosity, and we took it on, but we won't repeat it again. Our advice to the owner should do something about this 1. better organization, more tables because they are losing customers. And I didn't get the burger of the month, although I was there in line from 12:30, I didn't expect it. Our mistake maybe because we went on Saturday. They are a bit overwhelmed by the situation by the flow of people. What can I say, the food is very good, as is their advertising.

We waited for two hours outside the store, then the waitress decided to inform the people waiting that there were no more burgers for the crowd. The line then halved accordingly. Following this, the waitress made three more corrections. This seems to be a wonderful way of communicating with the kitchen. 😅 By the way, as good colleagues of the owner, you can also skip the line.

The best burger I've ever had was the Flavor in Ya Mouth. You'll need to be on your toes, though, as the line outside the shop is often quite long. Still, it's definitely worth a visit!

From classic to "what the hell is that – wow, it tastes amazing!", I'd say it's all there. The ambiance? Relaxed, casual, pure street style with graffiti and urban flair – it feels like a burger joint in the middle of Brooklyn (only with better beer). The only downside: the wait. After ordering, you have to put your feet up and be patient – it took about an hour for our food to arrive. Drinks arrived pretty quickly, though – to be fair – but: the wait is worth it. Seriously. In conclusion: Great taste, great style, wait time could be improved – but the bottom line is, absolutely recommended! I'd love to come back, maybe just with a folding chair and snacks to while you wait, LOL! P.S.: The crowd is always really big. It's best to queue half an hour before the store opens, otherwise you might not be able to get a table.

Everything is perfectly coordinated, and you can tell that every detail has been thought through. From the selection of ingredients to the presentation on the plate, everything is perfectly thought out. The combination of high-quality ingredients and creative ideas makes the burger a true highlight. Overall, I highly recommend the burger at Der Daddy Beef. If you're looking for an incredibly delicious burger, this is the place for you. The explosion of flavor is simply indescribable, and you simply have to try it for yourself to understand what I mean. I therefore give this awesome burger a clear recommendation and full marks! One star deducted because they only have a limited number of burgers available each day. If you arrive too late, you're out of luck....

Summary of our visit We've been frequent guests in the past, but this time there was a longer break. We're familiar with the usual crowds and hype surrounding the restaurant – so the wait wasn't a surprise. However, it became clear after just a short time: something had changed. Without wanting to offend anyone personally, we were particularly struck by the demeanor of the young female server with a slight Russian accent. From the very beginning, we had the impression that we weren't welcome – on the contrary: it almost seemed as if our presence was unwanted. The communication was cold and distant. When my wife finally tried to explain the difference between "medium" and "English," the mood completely changed. We also observed that other guests weren't served for extended periods. Anyone operating at this gastronomic level – and the restaurant itself positions itself well above the average for a classic burger restaurant – should maintain a correspondingly high standard of service and quality. This isn't currently the case. Several drinks were sold out, as was the "Burger of the Month," even though that was precisely the reason for our visit. The conditions in the restrooms were intolerable: no soap, no paper towels, an overflowing trash can. Cobwebs with dead flies were less than 30 cm from the dining table – no one should have to eat in this environment. The current expectations and the actual situation have become significantly different. Nevertheless, our criticism should be understood constructively. We are not trying to devalue, but rather to refocus more on the essentials: service, cleanliness, and good value for money. Unfortunately, at the moment, many things seem like mass processing without any personal touch. We generally enjoy coming here – but we won't make the long journey to risk such an experience in the future.

After a long time of bossing around, we sat down at a table outside after repeatedly consulting a colleague on the team, who replied that she would clear the table right away. After 15 minutes, still no communication?! I went in to inquire and politely asked the guy to take our order. His response was that he wasn't Jesus. I thought I was going to be mad when I heard that. What do Jesus and ordering have to do with each other? Then the lady from before came over and was asked by the guy if it was true that she had made us sit there. You won't believe me, SHE'S LYING AND SAYS WE JUST SAT DOWN, MR. I THOUGHT I WASN'T HEARING RIGHT. And of course, as a "customer," you then end up looking completely stupid. Then the guy wanted to tell me that the burgers were sold out anyway. I simply turned around during that sentence and left because I was stunned by this service, which doesn't even deserve to be called service. Delete this review, but I'll write it again every time. I then went to the kebab shop next door. Trust me, the guy was so nice.

They lie to us to bolster their egos with the other employees, boss us around, and end up standing around for 1.5 hours for nothing because they tell you there are no more burgers! Shame on you!!! We were on our way to Luxembourg and were craving a burger. We stumbled upon this place by chance. They were simply fantastic. The best I've ever eaten. Yes, we did have to wait in line for almost half an hour. But it was definitely worth it. A definite recommendation for anyone who enjoys good burgers.

For the 4th time in a few weeks, shortly after 6 p.m. during restaurant opening hours, and every time the same message: "We're sold out" 😑 Burgers are good, but I'm definitely not a fan of the operator's concept; it's just annoying, especially when you're hungry!!

Delicious burgers, but a 2.5-hour wait is just too long. Especially when the boss's friends can get tables anytime without having to wait—it's anything but cool given the store's concept, and it's unfair to the waiting customers.

We traveled all the way to Trier, a 6-hour drive, just to eat burgers. We've tried everything of note and want to do a fair comparison. The service – we had a young man who was so incredibly friendly and attentive, something you rarely experience. Basically, the team fits the concept perfectly. The ambiance is simply perfect. It fits perfectly with the concept and the already strong branding. But the most important thing, of course, is the food. We had 4 different burgers. The meat was perfect, whether smashed or pink beef. The burgers are all juicy, and the bread goes perfectly with them. The O.G. Burger was unfortunately rather boring in its composition and seasoning. The Elvis was a really sick combination, 9/10. The Oklahoma was tasty, but given the high expectations and the experience we've had so far, it was better than average. In terms of numbers, I'd say 7/10. The absolute highlight was the special burger. Wagyu. By far one of the best burgers we've ever had. Definitely in the top 3. The burger was absolutely perfect, the seasoning was just perfect. The sauce went so well with it, and the meat had an incredible crust. Every ingredient was perfect. Whether you find a burger better or worse in Germany is a matter of personal taste. I was here today and was unfortunately very dissatisfied with my visit. I couldn't order a meal right from the start because they apparently ran out of coleslaw. I then opted for a burger with Cajun fries and a drink. The drink took a relatively long time to arrive, and mayonnaise for the fries was only offered upon request – for an extra charge of one euro, which, strangely enough, wasn't charged. The burger itself tasted okay, but partially fell apart, so I could only eat it with cutlery, which I also only received upon request. The biggest problem, however, were the Cajun fries: They were covered in so much spice that they were far too hot and almost inedible. Additionally, there was no soap in the restroom, which unfortunately further reinforced the overall negative impression. Overall, the value for money just wasn't right. I've been to other burger restaurants in Trier where you get significantly more for your money.

Very, very good food. Unfortunately, the wait times were very long; sometimes we waited two hours outside and one hour inside. But if you're there, it's absolutely recommended. The wait is worth it in the end.

Hello, We were at your restaurant yesterday and would like to give you some brief feedback on our visit. Upon entering the restaurant, we initially stood at the entrance, assuming the staff would seat us there. Unfortunately, there was no signage or greeting – several employees walked past us without speaking. After 5-10 minutes of waiting and repeated eye contact without a response, we assumed we'd have to find a seat ourselves – and sat down accordingly. Shortly afterward, an employee approached us and asked if we were "from Alex" – which we denied. He then pointed out that you always wait at the door until you're seated. When we explained to him that we had done just that, he reacted rather rudely and said, "I just wanted to explain this to you nicely." There was also talk of an alleged queue – but in fact, we were the only guests at the entrance. We then pointed out that there was still a spot outside in the sun. The information was initially ignored – only about ten minutes later did a colleague come and offer us that very table. The food was delicious, especially the burgers and fries. Unfortunately, the fries and extra sauce were initially forgotten. Our conclusion: The food and the ambiance were really good – but the service experience, unfortunately, was not. The team seemed uncoordinated, unattentive, and not particularly hospitable. A quick "Hello, we'll be right with you" would have changed a lot of things.
